George

George is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Midland,, TX, who needs $1,198 for Gun Shot Wound; IV Antibiotics, Pain Meds, Xrays.

Midland,, TX

King George, as my son named him, has been with us for 4 years. My son's female dog, Luna, would bring George to our house daily. We tried playing with him, but he would jerk away & urinate on himself. We believe that he was being abused at home. He would leave us but always returned-one day he never left. Sadly, Luna passed away about 6 months later. We say that Luna brought him to us to love him Last week, on 1/10, while getting ready for work, I heard George barking, 2 gunshots, and then him crying in pain. I ran to the backdoor to look for him. I found him next door hiding. He ran into the house bleeding and collapsed. As I was calling the police, I laid next to him asking him not to leave me. The shot went through his body and hit his lung, which filled with blood. Angel Vet Odessa TX George is such a beautiful boy. He is loved by us. He craves attention and makes sure that we give it to him. He loves belly rubs and hugs. He has a big bark, but he is like a child; He was scared of our two cats at first, but he watches over them. I'm constantly telling him that I love him, and that I am his Grandma. He's always protected us. It's my turn now to protect him and help him heal! Currently we are experiencing a difficult time financially. Even though there is no money, I just couldn't let him die. I had to take him to the hospital. If I had not been there, he surely would have died all alone. He's scared, has trouble breathing-he's suffering.

Wesker

Wesker is a 9 year old American Shorthair in Alexandria, VA, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Surgery, Sedation and Gauze every 24hrs.

Alexandria, VA

Wesker was gift from my parents when I was a teenager, we have an unbreakable bond. His unusual name was gifted by my younger brother, inspired by a video game character. Despite my busy family life, he quickly became my own, snuggling on my chest every night. Now, as we navigate college dorm life together, his loving presence continues to bring me joy and comfort. Wesker recently experienced blood dripping from his behind and pain near his tail. upon an emergency vet visit, we were told he needed surgery to remove a 5cm abscess from his bottom area that had leaked puss and contained dead tissue from inside. he underwent emergency surgery and need his gauze and dressings changed every 24 hours for 3 weeks with sedation due to his stables holding the dressing He is my Emotional Support Animal, and we can't bear to be apart for long. Our bond brings us immense love and comfort; we sleep side by side or with him nestled on my chest. His soothing purrs calm me, while my snuggles bring him peace. Together, we create a safe haven for each other, making our connection truly special. I recently graduated college and am struggling with student loans. I have a low-paying job due to being in training for a license, which will last roughly a year. I recently was accepted into Medicaid and SNAP, just trying to survive with just me and my boy.
