Dylan, Dainty, Daisy, & Danny
Four Tiny Puppies, One Terrifying Diagnosis
San Angelo, TX • Montana’s Pack Rescue
At just two weeks old, Dylan, Dainty, Daisy, and Danny should have been safe beside their mama—sleeping, nursing, and growing stronger every day. Instead, their lives were already at risk. The four puppies, formerly known as Chloe, Charlotte, Camilla, and Conner, were part of a mama and litter found as strays and brought to a high-kill shelter in Houston. With newborn puppies especially vulnerable to illness and the shelter lacking the resources to provide the intensive care they might need, the entire family landed on the euthanasia list. Montana’s Pack Rescue refused to let that be the end of their story. The rescue stepped in and saved the entire family—but soon, their worst fears became reality. Dylan, Dainty, Daisy, and Danny all tested positive for parvo. For puppies this young, parvo can turn deadly incredibly quickly. Their tiny bodies needed immediate veterinary care, medications, fluids, monitoring, and supportive treatment to give their immune systems a chance to fight. Four puppies. Four parvo patients. Four little lives depending on the rescue that had already fought to save them once. Thankfully, all four survived. ❤️ They made it through the shelter. They made it through parvo. And now these once-fragile puppies finally have the chance to grow up and experience the lives they almost never had. But saving an entire litter from parvo came with significant veterinary expenses. Montana’s Pack Rescue took on those costs without hesitation because Dylan, Dainty, Daisy, and Danny deserved every possible chance. Please help us cover their lifesaving parvo treatment and give these four survivors the fresh start they fought so hard for. Every donation helps their rescue continue saying “yes” to vulnerable puppies when there is nowhere else for them to turn. I can also make this a little more emotional and urgent to really differentiate it from Claire’s campaign while keeping the stories connected.

Claire
Claire Survived The Euthanasia List & Parvo
San Angelo, TX • Montana’s Pack Rescue
At just two weeks old, Claire was already running out of time. She had been found as a stray in Houston alongside her mama and littermates and brought to an overcrowded, high-kill shelter. Newborn puppies are incredibly fragile, and the shelter simply didn’t have the resources to provide the specialized care they could need. Claire and her family were placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, Montana’s Pack Rescue stepped in before it was too late and pulled the entire family to safety. For the first time, it seemed like little Claire had made it. Then the worst case scenario happened: she tested positive for parvo. Parvo is a devastating virus that can quickly become deadly in young puppies. And of the puppies who became sick, Claire had the most severe case. She was only weeks old, tiny and vulnerable, and suddenly fighting for her life. Her rescuers were terrified they were going to lose her. But Claire kept fighting. Montana’s Pack Rescue made sure she received the intensive veterinary care she needed, taking on the mounting medical costs because giving up on this little girl simply wasn’t an option. And Claire survived. The tiny puppy who was once scheduled to be euthanized—and then came frighteningly close to losing her life to parvo—is still here today because people chose to fight for her. Now, Montana’s Pack Rescue needs help covering the veterinary bills that came with saving Claire’s life. Please consider donating toward Claire’s care. She fought so hard for the chance to grow up. Help the rescue that fought just as hard to make sure she got it.

Lexxi
Baby Lexxi Escaped Euthanasia and Now Needs Help
TX • Montana’s Pack Rescue
At just 8 weeks old and only about 8 pounds, Lexxi came frighteningly close to losing her life before it had even really begun. Lexxi found herself on the euthanasia list at BARC in Houston due to her orthopedic needs. Montana’s Pack Rescue stepped up and saved her just in time when no one else would. This tiny puppy is finally safe—but now she needs help healing. Lexxi has an injury to her right hind leg that is causing her to noticeably limp. There is also a firm area of swelling near the top of her leg, raising concerns that she may be suffering from a dislocation or another orthopedic injury. She needs a thorough veterinary evaluation and imaging to determine exactly what is wrong and what treatment will give her the best chance at a pain-free future. It’s heartbreaking to think that a puppy this young was facing euthanasia while also struggling with an untreated injury. Lexxi should be learning how to play, exploring the world, and discovering what it feels like to be loved—not fighting for her life. Thankfully, Montana’s Pack Rescue said yes when Lexxi had no one else. They gave her the second chance she desperately needed, and now they are committed to getting her the medical care she deserves. Funds raised through Lexxi’s Waggle campaign will help cover her veterinary examination, X-rays and other imaging, medications, treatment for her injured leg, and any additional medical care recommended by her veterinary team. Lexxi has already survived the hardest part: getting out of the shelter alive. Now she needs a community behind her as she begins the next chapter. Please donate to help this little girl heal. Every contribution brings Lexxi one step closer to running, playing, and simply getting to be the puppy she was always meant to be.

Chata
Help Chata Beat Heartworm Twice
San Angelo, TX • Montana’s Pack Rescue
Chata is a sweet and gentle giant who recently found herself on the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter in Houston. Like so many larger dogs, Chata was struggling to find a way out—and being a heartworm positive senior made her chances of leaving the shelter alive even smaller. But Chata had people fighting for her. The shelter volunteers tirelessly advocated for her survival, sharing her story and doing everything they could to make sure someone saw just how special she was. Thanks to their determination, Montana’s Pack Rescue stepped in and saved Chata before it was too late. Sadly, this isn’t Chata’s first time needing a second chance. Records show that Chata was adopted from the same shelter in 2022, when she was also heartworm positive. Somehow, for reasons we may never know, she ended up back at the shelter years later—once again facing heartworm disease and this time, the possibility of euthanasia. Despite everything she has been through, Chata couldn’t be sweeter. Her submissive affection melts the hearts of everyone she meets and that is why so many fought for her life. Now that Chata is safe with Montana’s Pack Rescue, the next step is helping her get healthy. Heartworm disease is serious, but it is very treatable. Chata will need veterinary care and heartworm treatment before she can truly put her shelter days behind her and begin looking forward to the life she deserves. Chata came frighteningly close to losing that chance simply because she is a big senior dog with medical needs. Volunteers fought to keep her story from ending at the shelter, and Montana’s Pack Rescue answered their call. Now Chata needs our help to finish her medical journey so she can find her forever family during her golden years.
