Winston
Winston is a 2-month-old Collie/Poodle Mix in Concord, OH, who needs $2,000 for Parvovirus Treatment.

We adopted him and gave him the name Winston because we've always wanted to have a dog with that name. We like "old man" names for dogs - especially if they have a beard! We instantly fell in love with his pink nose and unique markings. His eyes have a little blue in them too - so he'd match our family. He is so sweet and snuggly with the softest fur. Winston loves his big Grey cuddle bed - and when he lays in it you can barely see him because he camouflages right in! We was already starting to house train and crate train so well. He loves this little sqeaky blue dinosaur we got him and his tug of war rope - you could tell he will be a good tug of war player. Winston loves the kids. You can already tell he is going to do so well with a house full of children. He loves to snuggle and give puppy kisses. When he looks up at you with his blue eyes and pink nose it's nearly impossible to not fall in love. We need him to come home to us so we can enjoy more snuggles and play time with him. Winston has Parvovirus which can be fatal without proper ongoing treatment. When hospitalized their chances of surviving can rise to 90% Winston has shown signs to us to make us think he can fight this. He has been at the veterinary hospital since Thanksgiving day. It's been a traumatic and emotional time but we believe he can fight this so he can come home. Unfortunately this is just an unexpected, major expense, and we don't have enough set aside for this emergency. At this point we have invested so much financially and emotionally that we don't want to give up and let go of everything we have done so far.
Blu
Blu is a 8-month-old Russian Blu Kitten in Dayton, KY, who needs $60 for Shots/Spay.

A couple that lived in our apartment building, left unexpectedly maintenance man went in noticed the kittens left behind.I was offered a kitten by the maintenance, I chose Blue because of how cute and pretty she was.We know no history of the kitten's mother other than she was an outside cat. I also have a dog named angel and blue and angel or best friends! The minute we brought blue into our house she was very lovable happy playful. We were afraid of how she was going to act with our dog but from the minute they do nothing but play with each other. I know she is very comfortable and feel safe here. That is why I would like to get her shots and her Spade so that she remains comfortable Are dog and cat are constantly playing with each other blue will run down the hallway and jump and land on Angel's back for like a piggyback ride and when they both want to take a nap they climb in either the bed or the dog beds and they sleep together all snuggled up. When Angel goes outside for her daily Business blue will sit at the front door and just cry and wait for her to come back in Blue has no medical history like I said she was an abandoned kitten in an apartment in our building when the tenants moved she was only I'd say about 9 weeks old when we had had gotten her. The only thing I know of her mother was she was an outside cat. I am trying to get Blu the shots she needs and spay to keep her out of heat Husband had emergency surgery done. In that course of time I myself got covid. I was not eligible for pay. Finances are tight. I have cancelled this appt twice. I would like to help Blu out of her misery
Ace

Ace was given to me about a year ago from his owners who no longer had time for him. Being a huge boxer fan I was so glad to add another to my family as my previous two had passed away. He currently lives with my pack at Critter Corner.. a little farm where I take in senior, hospice and special needs dogs. Not being a rescue it can get tough sometimes when more than one is sick at a time. Ace is one of the biggest dogs in my pack but he is also one of the most gentle and quiet. He is my shadow and his little nub tail wags whenever I talk to him or when I give him hugs. He goes about his day and really only gets excited when I come home from work or its time to eat! I even get kisses when I come home everyday! His favorite thing in the world is his tennis ball. He will entertain himself pushing it around and dropping it so it bounces. His little nub tail wag always make me smile. And he is a pro at begging especially for pizza crust. I throw it up in the air and it disappears in one gulp. I don't even think he tastes or chews it! Ace has been drinking a lot of water and going potty a lot as well. His appetite is crazy and now he has these awful sores on his neck. We were at the ER Vet and did bloodwork which showed possible Cushings disease. In order to find out for sure he needs a day long test. This is the only way to find out if he has Cushings. For the past nine years there have been many dogs through these doors. It is just me taking care of all of them and when one gets a complex medical issue it can be tough financially. With the recent large ER Vet bill for Ace money is tight but he needs further tests.
Riley
Riley is an 8-year-old Texas Blue Lacy in Dallas, TX, who needs $1,900 for cancer treatment.

Sometimes you pick your dog -- and sometimes your dog picks you! The latter is what happened to Brian H. "Seven years ago, she walked through the front door of my house," Brian tells Waggle. "A sweet pup who was likely dumped. We instantly connected, and she has been by my side every day since." Riley has been with Brian through some really tough times. He's fighting stage four cancer. She has given him great comfort and strength. But Brian just got more devastating news, now Riley has cancer! "I am fighting for her, just as she fought for me," Brian says. Brian is struggling to afford the radiation treatments Riley needs to fight her mast cell tumor. He's been on disability since he was first diagnosed with renal cancer. "I had surgery to remove my right kidney and received targeted radiation on both lungs," Brian says. "Disability doesn't pay much, and the medical bills piled up." Please help Brian and Riley this holiday season fight their battles with cancer.
Elliot
Elliot is a 10-month-old Mixed Breed Puppy in Huntington, WV, who needs $2,000 for Gunshot to the Head-Surgery to Reconstruct Shattered Jaw.

This is how Elliott was found, abandoned on the side of a road in rural KY. A person tried to brutally kill him and left him to die. Initially, it was assumed he had been hit by a car. Animal control came to the scene and alerted us at One by One Animal Advocated as soon as they noticed a bullet wound - he had been shot. And, not only shot accidentally, the vet said it was execution style. The bullet entered at close range in the top of Elliott’s head, travelled through his jaw, and exited out his neck. He suffered extensive bruising of his eye, vision loss, and a section of his jaw was left with shattered bone fragments. Elliot has now undergone two emergency surgeries to remove these fragments, to clean out severe infection, and close the hole in his jaw. It doesn't stop there. His third surgery is scheduled where synthetic bone will be used to try to reconstruct his jaw. The synthetic bone is expensive, but the hands-on, loving care is priceless. Unfathomable. Heartbreaking. Angry. A few of the words to describe how we felt about Elliott’s situation. Our heart breaks when an animal is mistreated … not enough food, left out in the cold, or lack of basic care. We truly cannot understand how anyone could walk up to an innocent 10-month old pup, hold a gun to his head, and pull the trigger. Once again we ask if you will come together for an innocent dog who has already overcome so much, and help us right the wrongs he has suffered so he can enjoy a normal loving life. Elliott is a miracle boy and has had many guardian angels help him get to where he is today. Can you help us raise the money for this costly, but beneficial, synthetic bone?

Lucy became a part of our life officially July 8th, 2021. She was a stray born in my backyard and I was already falling in love with her before I finally took her in because of tornado warnings. I had so badly wanted to rescue her before that but I did not want to take her from her Mom. I posted a picture of what she looked like the day she came inside. We have a nice loving home, big fenced yard The cutest story about her name is we named her after ‘Lucy’ in 50 first dates because everyday for weeks we had to remind her who we were every morning. Then she would be at ease. Lucy always sleeps at the end of my bed or my sons. She always follows me everywhere. Her favorite treats are the Sheba sticks. She wants you toss them so she can catch I’m in the air. It’s so cute. Our family loves her Lucy still is timid around strangers. She loves my 6 year old son and gets excited when she hears his bus. But she is very shy and timid which is my biggest fear trying to rehome her, which is my LAST resort. She’s our family. I’m a stay at home mom and I’m with her every day. She loves to have her belly rubbed, and when I sleep she falls asleep above my head with her paw on me every night. When I rescued Lucy, I had an appt. scheduled in October 2021 to have her spayed. I lost my aunt to Covid and life kind of paused for a while. She helped raised me and was like my 2nd mom…following February my nephew died tragically. Lucy then got pregnant so she still has not got spayed. Now she has fell ill. I am reaching out for help. I don’t want to lose her It would mean everything in the world to me to not lose her. I lost 3 loved ones this year and Lucy saved me more than I did her.. And I can’t afford to treat her right now. She’s throwing up, diarrhea, urinating and pooping everywhere. I have contacted every resource.

Emaciated, filled with parasites, and discarded after breeding puppies, Malibu needs your help! "Malibu was surrendered to our rescue at TinyCause once she was no longer needed for breeding," Darla H., with the rescue, tells Waggle. "She is an extremely underweight and malnourished Bulldog who appears to have given almost all she had for her last litter of puppies," Malibu is just one year old. "Her young body has already been through so much, and she was suffering," Darla says. Now Malibu is getting the care she needs, and the rescue is trying to raise the money to cover her medical bills. Once strong enough for surgery, she will be spayed and never has to have a litter of puppies again. Please give to Malibu's campaign so she can have a new start in the new year. "She has found the most loving foster home where she is settling in slowly," Darla adds. "Home life seems to be a whole new experience, and she is very timid, but so far an absolute sweetheart. We can't wait to see her confidence grow week by week as she starts feeling her best self."

Paddington was found as a stray at a county shelter. No one claimed him and he was transferred to The Sanctuary at NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue. We are not sure if Paddington is a full blooded greyhound, but we know that he is not a retired racer. It's likely that he may be a product of a back yard breeder that produces greyhound mixes for field trials, a popular but dangerous sport. Sweet Paddington is learning to live in a house. He's curious and friendly and gets excited when he sees the other hounds. He loves affection and is patient and quiet when being groomed. He likes to run but he also likes to nap in comfort. He doesn't really know what toys are but he watches the other hounds play. Paddington is doing well with his potty training, but needs to go frequently. One of Paddington's most enduring qualities is his smile. Like all greyhounds, he opens his mouth wide with soft, gentle eyes. He's a gentle giant, a sweet soul but he also is beginning to show us his goofy side. He's learning his name and learning to come when called. He's learning to walk quietly on a leash and he's learning that life can be very comfortable and safe.. When Paddington arrived, he had an injured paw and several cuts and scrapes when he arrived and a very large hernia that needed to be repaired as well as a dental. His presurgical lab tests showed that he had active Lyme disease, with many of the symptoms, including kidney disease and a urinary tract infection. NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue is a nonprofit that takes in special needs hounds that need medical attention. Most of these hounds are overlooked by potential adopters and don't have many options. We rely on donations from kind people to pay for vet bills and medication.
Bhodi

Bhodi was a rescue and we had her for a total of 2 days before we know we couldn’t live without her. She came from Manitoba and is a parvo survivor. We got her at about 4 1/2 months and she’s now 6 months she’s so amazing with other dogs and super curious with cats. She wants to play and snuggle and they do not. Bhodi brings love and joy to our lives we recently lost someone very close to us and she makes those hard days just a little bit better. She helps my son with his anxiety and gets us active and out of the house for her daily walks as a family or our runs just me and her. She even goes for sleepover with my son because she never wants to be to far from him Bhodi is the biggest sweet heart you’ve ever met those big puppy eyes take one look at you and make your heart melt. She’s got a sweet corky personality when she’s gets her Zoomies but she’s also mellow and cuddly she’s the perfect balance our little family needs. She’s a good listener to when asked for kisses. We need to get bhodi fixed as per the rescue we got her from and the cost of care if she were to get pregnant I’m a full time single mom struggling to keep everything g together. We lost my sons father in a car accident a little while back and it’s been a struggle without him
