Rosie

Our rosie came into our lives when my daughter asked for a kitten so I posted on Facebook and this kind lady told us she had an 8 week old kitten. So we drove from easton pa to pen argyl to get little rosie once we got her we fell in love so fast. We thought of many names and roses are my daughter favorite flower so that's how we came up with the name rosie. Rosie just loves everyone in the family she loves to rub against our feet she loves to jump our backs and shoulders and she loves to sleep on my bed with me when my daughter is not home. she loves to run around and play with her sister luna. And her favorite spot to sleep is by the window or under the bed Our cat rosie is special to us because she came into our lives via Facebook and since then we have grown to love our little rosie. We ask that anyone open their hearts my daughter who is 17 loves. her rosie and cannot face to loose her. So my daughter is looking for anyone to help with Rosie vet care Rosie is just a loveable cat and we want her around for a long time My 17 yr old daughter is trying to get help for her cat rosie she needs bloodwork to keep her meds because we belive what we have is feline asthma and in order to get her meds she needs blood work but in order to get her help we need to get the funds. It will mean the world to my daughter who has had Rosie since she was 8 weeks old to be healthy or to atleast control the said attacks. Rosie helps my daughter in so many ways and to loose her would be devastating to Ashley. Ashley works but cannot make enough it's hard for her
Esther
Esther is a 10-year-old Shepherd mix in Huntington, WV, who needs $2,000 for urgent surgery.

Watching Esther hobble in pain, holding her withered back leg, is heartbreaking. The sweet senior dog was hit by a car and left to die. Finally, someone saw her and called animal control officers, who brought her to a shelter. The shelter did not have the money to help Esther, who appears to have been neglected for years. She was emaciated, had missing fur, and leathery, callused skin. After all this girl suffered, she now faced economic euthanasia. As a last-ditch effort, the shelter contacted One By One Animal Advocates to see if they could save her. The nonprofit group said yes! "Imagine being more than ten years old, out on your own, injured, and trying to get by," Heather A., with the group, tells Waggle. "It has been far too long since someone cared about Esther, if ever." Now Esther needs urgent medical care to save her. Once strong enough, she will have surgery on her leg, her teeth and be spayed. "Can you help us raise the money for her orthopedic surgery," Heather asks. "Help us change her expression to hope, relief, and happiness -- and eventually find her forever home!"
Gunner
Gunner is a 1-year-old Rottweiler in Laura, OH, who needs $1,200 for Leg Amputation.

Gunner has been the light of our lives since he has lived with our family. Gunner was a surprise after the unexpected loss of our previous dog who was only 18 months old. We weren't sure that we were ready for another dog as the loss was so recent but, after meeting Gunner, I knew that he was exactly what our hearts needed. Gunner is the most handsome couch surfer one could imagine. He loves taking naps on the couch or just sitting on the couch looking out the window watching the world. He is not much for snuggling but loves human contact. If he isn't touching you, then then you must be too far away! His favorite thing to do is give "hugs" by resting his body against you or leaning his forehead against your leg. Gunner's favorite toys are the toys are usually the ones that someone else is playing with- it's all about being involved with everyone else. He loves his arms rubbed, but if you ask if he is ticklish, those arms suddenly disappear and now he is ready to play keep away with his arms. But, Gunner's most favorite thing in life would be people. A dog that knows no stranger and gives everyone love. In the early morning of Nov 29, 2022 Gunner was hit by a truck on our rural road while walking beside our neighbor. He suffered some lung injuries, extensive road rash, a laceration to his front leg and a broken right rear leg. Gunner needs a steel plate to correct the broken leg, but due to financial strains thus far, our only option is to amputate the broken leg that is not healing with a splint Due to my full-time student status pursuing and financing my degree as a Respiratory Therapist, raising four boys and Gunner's unexpected injuries, the financial burden placed on by boyfriend has exceeded our capabilities.
Snow White
Snow White is a one-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat in Kitts Hill, OH, who needs $800 for urgent care and surgery.

Mama Snow White and her little kittens were found by a good Samaritan on the side of the road in Kentucky just in time. They needed immediate medical care, and Misfit Paws rescue rushed them to their veterinarian, Pawsitive Pet Care Clinic, where they were hospitalized. Snow White was such an incredible mama cat that she exhausted herself caring for her babies in the wild, ensuring they were safe. She needed fluids and vitamins so she could regain her strength. "During her entire hospitalization, Snow White took care of her babies without fail," Missy C., with the rescue, tells Waggle. "Even though she was not feeling the best, she never stopped being a mama first." Then her medical team found a tumor on her body, which she needs removed and sent to pathology. She will also be spayed during the operation. Misfit Paws Rescue is a nonprofit rescue that takes in abandoned and neglected cats in the Kentucky area. Snow White and her kittens were not something the rescue expected to take on -- but there was no way they could say no! Please consider giving to help Snow White live happily ever after!
Rooster
Rooster is a 6-month-old DSH Kitten in Marshall, TX, who needs $760 for Enucleation - Surgery to Remove his Eye.

Meet Rooster! A feral, stray kitten who started life homeless with his two siblings. Thankfully, they were dropped off at Friends of Marshall Animals and he went straight to the vet. Sadly, Rooster is suffering from an unknown eye injury that has become excruciatingly infected. For a kitten with so many cat years ahead, we were hoping we could save his eye. At his vet visit, we were told his eye has become so severely infected and inflamed that it cannot heal and be managed with medication. Rooster needs surgery as soon as possible to help him live pain-free. It is currently causing him distress and is comparable to having a constant, never ending migraine. He’s around six months old and his two siblings have struggled to adjust to life in a shelter. They were confused, but Rooster took immediately to human affection. He's a little shy but his funny personality is beginning to shine. He will steal all the cuddles and chin scratches with his chosen humans! Removing Rooster's eye will immediately give him relief and we can't wait to do that for him. BUT we need your help to make this possible! The sooner we get him the surgery, the sooner he can be on his road to recovery and to ultimately find his forever family. Can you help with Rooster's veterinary bills? Truman
Truman is a 7-year-old Greyhound in Geneva, OH, who needs $442 for urgent dental surgery.

With no place else to go and showing signs of going blind, Truman needed someone with a big heart to take him in. Luckily Duane J. from NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue and Sanctuary swooped in to save him. "Truman is always the first to greet his caretakers at the door, and he's the first to meet the incoming hounds," Duane tells Waggle. "He's become a helper hound and supervises his caretaker as she prepares food bowls for his friends." Everyone at the sanctuary loved Truman so much that when his siblings needed help, they took them in too. "Two of his sisters have special needs, and the three are known as 'The Triplets,'" Duane says. Truman is battling many health issues, including advanced progressive retinal atrophy (PRA), which will rob him of his sight, high blood pressure, and terrible teeth. "Truman is cursed with bad gums, and no amount of brushing, scaling, liquid additives, or wipes will prevent tooth loss," Duane says. "He's at the point where he needs to have several teeth extracted due to excessive gum recession." Now the Greyhound rescue is racing to raise the money for Truman's surgery. "As a nonprofit animal rescue, we provide sanctuary and medical care for special needs animals deemed unadoptable, and we rely on donations to pay for their vet bills," Duane says. "Truman is one of those special needs hounds that needs your support. Can you help us help him?"
Sally
Sally is a 3-year-old Staffy/Pit Mix in Geneva, OH, who needs $300 for Dental X-Rays Needed to Assess Deformities in Jawbones and Teeth.

Bred by the worst of the backyard breeders to be a bait dog, Sally was tortured and then dumped in a cemetery. Then people living nearby repeatedly tried to shoot her! Sally was so terrified it took animal control officers days to coax her from behind the headstones where she was hiding. When The Sanctuary at NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue heard about Sally, they immediately offered to save her. "Although still terrified of most people, Sally immediately bonded with her female caretaker, finding sympathy and softness she had never known while discovering her courage and ability to love," Duane J., with the rescue, tells Waggle. Their veterinarian found scabs covering her skin from mange. She was nearly bald. Sally's jaw and teeth are malformed to the point where she cannot keep her tongue inside her mouth. Sally now needs a complete set of dental X-rays, a thorough exam, and a cleaning to determine the health of her jawbones and teeth. Dogs like Sally can sustain broken jaws easily. "As a nonprofit rescue, we specialize in caring for special needs dogs like Sally and rely on donations to pay for veterinary bills," Duane says. "Please help us help her!"
Remi
Remi is a 2.5-year-old Mixed Breed Dog in Missoula, MT, who needs $1,200 for Poison Ingestion Treatment.

Remi is a rescue that has been with us since June 2021. She has filled a hole in my heart that I did not know needing filling. She is my certified emotional support animal that has quite literally saved my life this last year as I have been battling with some of the most severe depression I have experienced. Remi is a ball of energy, but loves cuddling up on the couch or in bed just as much! She loves to be loved and will give you the occasional paw to remind you that she still needs petting. I am so thankful she loves me so hard and she does not even know how much she helps me. When I am having a rough day, a little love with Rem gets me back on my feet. Remi is a huge outdoors fan. When we first adopted her, she absolutely despised the water. Now, we go for walks near the river and she cannot get enough of it! This is also her first year getting to experience significant snow and it is hilarious. She gets out the door and is immediately bounding through the snow. And when I say bound, I mean BOUND! Remi got into an Advil container and consumed over half the bottle. We rushed her to the vet where she will get treated overnight. The vet is concerned for gastrointestinal/liver/renal damage and seizures. She will be in doggy ICU for a minimum of 48hours. She is a real fighter, but we are very worried right now. I do not know what I would do without her by my side My husband (PT school) and I (nursing) are both in school and unable to work during. I also was recently in an accident on the interstate that totaled my car and resulted in medical bills. The unexpected expenses are unfortunately stacking up. When it rains it storms.
Beans
Beans is a 3-year-old Bombay Mix Cat in Charlotte, NC, who needs $2,000 for Full Mouth Extraction.

My oldest child adopted two all-black kittens (littermates) in 2019; Muffin was the boy, and his sister’s name is Beans. Sadly, FIP took Muffin from us a year after we got him. Beans had a comprehensive exam shortly after Muffin died; and at the time, she was in perfect health. She did miss her brother terribly, but we made sure to give her extra love. Beans is a super sweet, loving cat who never used to have any issues behaviorally. Lately (the past few months), she has acted out with other cats during normal interactions. She went back to the vet last week due to having lost several incisors (front teeth), and the vet strongly felt she had stomatitis. A cleaning was scheduled for today (September 2). Beans doesn’t meow; rather, she has the cutest little chirp-trill sound. She can be very loving but her pain has altered that behavior; currently she only rarely seeks out love and attention. Her brother loved to do the “fly by,” as we called it; he’d be walking past us, stop just long enough to swipe us with his tongue, and continue on his way. So here we are. Beans is actually under anaesthesia as I am writing this. A full mouth extraction is recommended; we do have enough to cover the cleaning, but cannot add any extractions at this time. We will need to do a staged treatment plan; which means it will go even higher, depending on how many stages we will need to do in order to complete the full-mouth extraction. I had to leave a toxic job last week; and do not start my new job for another week. I also have a fairly large car payment due in two weeks. My daughter used her Care Credit last year to help with a $2k surgery on another of our cats; and is still trying to pay that off.
