Dozer
Dozer is a three-year-old French Bulldog in Springfield, VA, who needs $900 for cancerous tumor removal.

Dozer helped save Christine H., and now she needs your help saving him. "Dozer is such a sweet and very affectionate companion," Christine tells Waggle. "When I got him two years ago, I suffered from severe depression and awful pain. Dozer has had a tremendous effect on that. He cuddles with me all the time. He knows when I'm feeling poorly and makes me laugh or comforts me with kisses." But now it's Christine's turn to help Dozer. He has a cancerous tumor that needs to be removed as soon as possible at the Pender Veterinary Centre. Christine can't afford the surgery, and she's heartbroken. "This is an emergency," she says. "I just lost my part-time job, and my government benefits don't cover my bills. I need help. Dozer needs help. He doesn't deserve to suffer with all the love he gives me. If something negative happens to Dozer, I will never forgive myself." Christine hopes generous pet lovers will give to Dozer's campaign so he can one day be cancer-free and making her smile again. "Dozer is a funny dog," she says. "He's absolutely not a guard dog. When someone new comes to the door, he gets up on his hind legs and wobbles back and forth while jumping, trying to give kisses. He makes this snorting sound that makes you laugh. He's always on my lap. Every time I get up, he steals my spot and makes me laugh."
Waffles
Waffles is a 2-year-old Pug Dog in Seaford , VA, who needs $405 for Exam, X-ray, oxygen, sedition, catheter, intensive care, Medications, induction….

Waffles lived a deplorable life of neglect in a drug den before she was saved. "She was recently rescued from some heroin addicts," Allen K., who helped save her, tells Waggle. "The apartment she was living in smelled strongly of ammonia and cigarettes. There was stuff all over the apartment, and it was disgusting. She probably has not seen the outside in months. She was having a lot of trouble breathing and had to be taken to the vet urgently." Waffles is being treated at Pine Meadow Veterinarian Hospital. She had to be sedated and have a tube put in her throat to help her breathe. Her oxygen level was only 70% when she arrived. She is getting some meds to help her, and she seems to be improving. Allen wasn't expecting to have to provide emergency care for Waffles, but she needed his help! "The veterinarian was very kind and generous to give us some time to pay, considering the circumstances," Allen says. "This all could not have happened at a worse time. My dad's heath has been declining, and he is starting dialysis. He has had five different surgeries since February. There is no extra money and no money in savings. Everything has been spent. Helping this dog has been very rewarding." Waffles is improving and showing a lot of potential to be a great dog. She has a family with two young boys and another dog waiting to love her and help her heal. Waffles can get the care she needs and a brand new life ahead of her with your generosity.
Walter
Walter is a four-year-old Pit Bull in Huntington, WV, who needs $2,000 for emergency surgery.

Walter's story is tragic. He was hit by a car and abandoned at an animal hospital. After the staff realized what had happened, they called One By One Animal Advocates. "I got a call from the ER," Heather A., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. "One of the vet techs said someone brought Walter in after he was struck. Then the person said they had to go to their car to get their wallet, but instead, they left. Without anyone claiming ownership of the dog, the hospital said they would have to euthanize him." One by One was buried in medical bills from saving other animals. They weren't sure they could afford Walter's care. "I sat on the phone with the vet tech," Heather says. "I just put my head down on the table because this is a huge decision that carries a lot of weight. If I said we didn't have room and hung up the phone, they would have killed him. That's devastating. It makes me cry just to think about it. But there's a lot of responsibility like, 'How are we going to afford this?' In the end, I said, 'I think he deserves a chance. We will figure out how to make this work.'" The hospital staff raced Walter in for X-rays. He had a broken pelvis on both sides of his body. The ER stabilized Walter and gave him IV fluids and pain medication. Then volunteers rushed him to Proctorville Animal Hospital. The orthopedic surgeon performed a three-hour operation, installing two different plates to help mend his bones. Walter may need another surgery, but he's making such significant post-op progress that he may be able to avoid it. He's now using both his legs. Heather is thrilled Walter is doing so well. She knows she lept financially, and now she's hoping the net will appear! But the group saved another life and hopes with your generosity; they'll be able to pay Walter's medical bills. "This is a young dog who deserves more than to be abandoned at the ER, with no one willing to take him on," Heather says. "Waggle's help gives us the ability to say, 'Yes,' in a situation where we may otherwise be forced to say, 'No.' Thank you for your help!"
Bella
Bella is a 12-year-old Labrador in Holmdel, NJ, who needs $1,990 for urgent surgery.

If Bella does not get the lifesaving surgery she needs, she will suffocate and die. The beautiful Labrador has laryngeal paralysis, also known as "lar par." It's a terrible disease where a dog's larynx no longer opens the way it should to allow air to flow into their lungs. It progressively gets worse. An owner usually has two options: euthanize the dog, or get the often very successful "tie-back" surgery. A surgeon ties back one side of the cartilage around a dog's larynx, so it no longer blocks the airway. Bella's surgeon at Garden State Veterinary Specialists recommends the critical operation. Amandine D., Bella's human mom, tells Waggle that surgery will change their lives. "She can no longer breathe easy at all," Amandine says. "The vet explained to me that the way Bella is breathing is very exhausting. For a human, it would be like breathing through a straw. She is going downhill and needs the tie-back surgery to help her. She refuses to walk. She can no longer play as she gets out of breath very easily. She has been depressed when she was always so happy." Amandine launched this campaign, hoping you will help Bella get the crucial operation she needs to save her life! "Bella has always been very active," Amandine says. "She loved long walks, retrieving her tennis balls, and swimming. I believe she saved me after my husband passed away six years ago. She truly is my best friend and was there for me always, giving me love and putting a smile on my face."
Zeus
Zeus is a three-year-old French Bulldog in Colorado Springs , CO, who needs $2,000 for an MRI and surgery.

When she was stationed in Germany, she got Zeus, and he quickly became her kids' best friend. "Zeus is my baby," Jessica tells Waggle. "He sleeps with the kids and me every night, and he is always by my side. He loves playing fetch and is obsessed with balls. My kids like to play keep-away with his favorite ball, and when he finally gets it from them, he will hide it from them so they cannot play anymore. It’s the cutest thing." Now the family is stationed in Colorado Springs, and two days ago, Zeus started screaming in pain. They rushed him to the Animal Emergency Specialty Center. "He has paralysis from the waist down and no bowel control. We drove to Denver to see a neurologist and find out exactly what is going on. We need to have an MRI done and then possibly surgery. He is currently taking steroids and pain medication to keep him comfortable and is on strict crate rest," Jessica says. The scan and surgery are expensive, and Jessica is panicked and struggling to come up with the money. "I have been in the military for almost eleven years," she says. "As anyone who has kids knows, they are quite expensive. I currently don’t have the finances to get him an MRI. I can pay for half of it. I am so grateful for every donation to help my sweet boy." Please help Zeus get back on his feet again!
Taylor
Taylor is a 7-year-old Tabby Cat in Jacksonville , NC, who needs $285 for Medication and Lab Work.

My cat Taylor is a rescue. I found him and his sister 7 years ago on the side of the road when they were just 2 weeks old. They were both so sick I almost lost them. He was diagnosed with diabetes and IBS last year. With everything getting so expensive it’s been hard to pay for everything, especially with my income only coming from disability. Taylor is a very happy cat and is very close to his sister. Every night at bedtime he “tucks” me in. He waits until I’m in bed then jumps up to knead in my neck while purring. Then every morning I’m greeted by him sitting on the floor by my bed looking up waiting for me to get up and feed him. After he eats he runs over to his toy chest and waits to be brushed. We have a ritual haha Taylor likes to head bunt and will want me to sit in floor while he’s on ottoman, so we are eye level, and he will roll around in excitement head bunting me and then giving me love bites on my scalp haha he’s very rough but doesn’t mean to hurt me he doesn’t realize his own strength. He’s very submissive when getting examined and getting insulin injections though. Taylor started vomiting daily last year. I got an ultrasound and labs done. He was diagnosed with IBS and diabetes. His insulin, syringes, glucose strips and prednisone are expensive and now he needs labs done before the dr will order any more insulin because he has been on meds for a year. I take him to an animal clinic so the prices are as low as they can get them. I’m on disability and with the inflation on everything I just font have the money to cover the labs right now but I have no choice in order for him to have his insulin. I have to not pay a bill somewhere every month to cover his care

6 1/2 years ago I adopted dinky from a friend she’s been my rider die since the day I got her she’s been through a lot with me more than I can express from drug addiction to homelessness to just craziness She’s been a healthy dog since I’ve had her know that visits except for routine and shots a year ago she got a UTI and again few months ago Dinky is a loyal dog has a very good personality and is very loving she never meet a stranger she is my service dog and can tell him before I am going to have a seizure my neurologist says that’s not something every dog has the ability to do she’s been the best dog I’ve ever had in my life and she’s my very best friend She is special because she can since when I’m gonna have a seizure before I even have one she has love me unconditionally since the day I got her and that’s something I thought I’ve never had in my life from anyone think he loves to wear clothes and has lots of them she even helps me get herself dressed she puts her head in and her arms herself She’s had a couple year UTIs in her life but that is the only sickness she’s had a couple months ago she was on anabiotic‘s for about a month with the UTI and it seem to get better but now she’s very sick again she hasn’t eaten three days or drink anything she has no control over her urine and her breath stinks really bad she needs to be evaluated by the vet and get some testing done I have had some severe medical problems going on and recently had to have surgery and have a toe removed because of my medical problems I have no income and don’t know when I can go back to work
Ultra
Ultra is a 12-year-old American Short hair Tuxedo Cat in Los Angeles, CA, who needs $899 for Mastectomy.

Last year, I experienced homelessness. It was overwhelming while I worked to find somewhere safe for me and my cat, Ultra, to live. Ultra is my Emotional Support Animal and is there for me when I'm physically and/or mentally struggling. I've had her since she was born and we immediately connected. Ultra is my best friend. We're safe together now in our own place while I manage my disabilities. Every morning Ultra wakes me up pawing at my face for food. This inspires me to get up everyday. I bounce her cat tennis balls and she chases after them with excitement and wonder. Ultra knows when I am in pain and mental distress and knows how to comfort me in those moments and keep me grounded. She lays with me and distracts me. Whenever I come home Ultra rolls and meows for pets and belly rubs! When I go out sometimes Ultra will sit on my powerchair to try and make me stay. Rolling and meowing, I give her love before I leave. Ultra is special to me because when I am distressed and in pain, she is always there to knead on me. We have been through everything together and know how to be there for each other. She is most relaxed softly sleeping on me, it makes me so happy seeing her relieved Ultra has masses on her mammary glands that are unknown to be cancerous until a histopathology (tissue sampling) is done after a mastectomy. A cytology (cell study) was done, it was inconclusive. She has 2 risk factors, being spayed late in life and had a pyometra. Ultra is being seen at Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital by Dr. Tracy Menichiello. I am a disabled and trans trauma survivor and had to leave my family for my own health and safety. I have little resources as a result. Ultra needs the masses removed ASAP if they are cancerous. Ultra being healthy would continue the joy I fought hard to get for us.
Zane
Zane is a five-year-old Husky in Newport, TN, who needs $692 for heartworm treatment.

Zane came to Piney Mountain Foster Care starving, sick, and skinny. "Zane was one of three dogs someone dumped on our rural mountain road," Doug B., from the organization, tells Waggle. "After a few days, they were really hungry and went after some rabbits that another resident kept in cages on an open front porch. That fellow got angry and started shooting at the dogs. After he went to work, I gathered the three vagrants into my fenced yard while a friend and I built a shelter for them to stay in." The three dogs turned out to be a pair of hound puppies and a five-year-old Husky, who became Zane. "They were clearly good friends, all playing together good-naturedly. Upon examining Zane, I found him to be emaciated. His plush fur hid his boniness, but he weighed in at a mere 48 pounds when a male Husky his size should be 65 to 70 pounds. He was letting the pups have all the food," Doug says. Doug took Zane to Cedarwood Veterinary Hospital, where he learned Zane had a horrible case of heartworm and needs treatment immediately. Doug says Zane is a gem. He hopes you can help their nonprofit raise the money for Zane's care. "I have fostered dozens of Huskies," Doug adds. "Zane is unusually calm and reserved for a Husky. Part of the reason for that is that he's sick. His infestation is advanced, and he needs treatment quickly. Fortunately, he likes to rest in a crate. That's rare in a Husky! But that will make successfully treating him much easier. This expense is more than we can handle."
