Rambo
Rambo is a 16-year-old Tabby Cat in Fircrest, WA, who needs $2,000 for Dental Extractions.

Ever since the spring of 2007, a handsome and somewhat skittish cat would hang out on my porch or in my yard under this purple bush that provided some shade and a comfy bed. He would lounge away the days and nights and purr and make air biscuits for all to see. Well, it turns out that on some days he would do the very same thing at my next-door neighbor's house. No one knew who he belonged to or where he lived, but we feed him and loved him all the same. He always stayed close to our homes, which he had now made his home(s). Sometimes when it got too cold in the winter we would have to bring him indoors (against his will). He is a very proud outdoor cat and that is just how he likes it. Recently we noticed that he had stopped eating and was losing weight. So we took him in to see the Vet and they verified that he had some seriously bad teeth and mouth problems. Gum disease had created sores in his mouth, he had one dead tooth and at least one or more infected teeth. The infection went all the way down to the bone. They immediately put him on antibiotics and pain meds, which have helped tremendously. But the cost to extract several teeth is $2100. The Vet also told us that all of his bad teeth must certainly be pulled, otherwise, his infection would reoccur and his quality of life would diminish quickly - resulting in a very painful death. It was some years after meeting this cat that we finally gave him a name. Rambo. This cat is a survivor and he has many more years left in him. He deserves to live, which is why we are using Waggle. Help! Dr. Hoots at the Animal Care Clinic has already sedated him once so we know that he is a good candidate for the surgery. And except for his teeth and a touch of arthritis he is a very healthy cat. We hope you might help us help our friend. Rambo gives us so much joy!
Jake
Jake is an eight-month-old Corgi mix in Grand Rapids , MI, who needs $2,000 for critical leg surgery.

Jake was an answer to prayers for Kendra S. "I have PTSD and spine and pelvis injuries that have devastated my life. I don't have family and have always loved dogs, so my doctor prescribed that I have an emotional support animal," Kendra tells Waggle. Soon after, she just happened to look on Craigslist and saw an adorable puppy in need. She arranged to meet him, and it was clearly meant to be. "He wrapped his arms around my neck, and my heart melted," Kendra says. Jake has made an enormous difference in Kendra's life. "He is a beautifully sweet puppy. He's energetic, loves attention, and loves to give it. He's been meeting lots of people and puppies and has been so happy," she says. But then something completely unexpected happened. "I've been looking forward to getting him in doggy day camp and more socialized, so he needed to be neutered. He had a right undescended testicle. He had swelling that went into his right thigh. He started limping the day after," she says. Somehow Jake fractured his hip, and he needs surgery to repair it. The cost of the operation is way out of line with Kendra's limited budget. "My only source of income is Social Security disability," Kendra says. "I've been trying so hard with the little income I have to give Jake a good life. He's so young and loves life. Now he is so sad because he can't be his active self and is in pain. I just can't afford the surgery, and I don't know what to do." Jake and Kendra rescued one another -- now they need your help to rescue them!
Ivy
Ivy is a three-year-old Pit Bull mix in Papillion, NE, who needs $2,000 for urgent care.

Ivy is in excruciating agony! She needs emergency care and urgent surgery. Her condition is absolutely heartbreaking for her family, who loves her dearly. "We adopted Ivy from a bad situation where she was bred and bred for puppies, then left unwanted," Heidi L., Ivy's human mom, tells Waggle. "When we met her, she was the sweetest dog we had ever met. We decided to make her part of our family, including our two other dogs. My kids instantly fell in love with her." But recently, Ivy got into an altercation. "Ivy suffered some significant injuries from dog bites," Heidi says. Ivy has been fighting for her life at VCA Midwest Veterinary Referral Emergency Center. She's suffered infections that developed into blood poisoning or sepsis. She's also had necrotic tissue that reached down to her bone. Now she needs surgery, hospitalization, and urgent care. Her family is struggling to pay for Ivy's hefty animal hospital tab. "We are a family of six, surviving on one income with a special needs child," Heidi says. "Our vet bills have exceeded $25,000 and are expected to be $30,000. We are living on a prayer because our credit cards are maxed out, and we are out of money. We have already spent $10,000." In the pictures Heidi sent, you can see how dear Ivy is to her children. They want their dog back home, enjoying life as she did before the horrific incident. "Ivy loves to go hiking," Heidi adds. "As soon as I get the leash out, she sits pretty and waits. Hikes are her favorite thing except for her little human siblings, ages 3, 6, 8, and 11. Every night at bedtime, she makes the rounds, checking on all the kids. She rotates whose bed she is going to sleep in. She loves to cuddle and give kisses." Please help Ivy get out of the hospital and heal her family's broken hearts and bank account!
Gus
Gus is an eight-week-old Pug mix puppy in Columbus, OH, who needs $1,080 for treatment of pneumonia.
Columbus, OH • Stop the Suffering
Gus is defying the odds, and he needs your help! He's hospitalized with aspiration pneumonia, and his rescuers at Stop the Suffering are doing all they can to keep him going. "Aspiration pneumonia for a puppy this size does not generally have great results. Gus is being treated by a team of professionals at Med Vet," Lynne A., with the group, tells Waggle. "The treatment has involved two full days on a ventilator and now high-flow oxygen through a nasal tube. We are hopeful he has no setbacks, and the plan is to move him to the oxygen chamber next." Puppy Gus is one of six puppies born in the rescue's care when they saved a pregnant mother dog left at a rural shelter on Christmas. "Gus lives with canine siblings in his foster home," Lynne says. "He is a very spunky and alert puppy. He loves to play, loves to be held, and is always in a super happy mood. Gus's foster mom is really in love with him and hopefully will be adopting him since he fits in so well at her home. Gus loves his crate and everything about life as a puppy." Now the rescue is widely trying to raise money to pay for all of Gus's emergency, life-saving care. "We are an all-breed rescue and go to the ends of the earth for our charges," Lynne says. "We are all praying for little Gus. It will mean the world to his foster home and to us to have him healthy after everything he has survived."
Jace
Jace is a 12-year-old Toy Poodle in Hudson, NH, who needs $2,000 for surgery to remove 15 bladder stones.

Life has been challenging for Lee C., and Jace is a constant ray of sunshine who cheers her up. "Jace is the most important thing to me in my life," Lee tells Waggle. "I often find myself talking to him and half expecting him to answer. He sleeps in bed with me every night, hugged up tight against my back." A few years ago, Lee started having health issues. She needed neck surgery and, more recently multiple back surgeries. "I have been on Disability since these issues started to arise, and over these past five years, to my surprise, Jace and I became even closer. After every surgery, he was right by my side, giving me kisses and making sure I was okay." But recently, Jace started struggling. Lee brought him to Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Center animal hospital. "Jace was diagnosed with 15 stones in his bladder ranging in size from small to surprisingly large that had to be surgically removed. He also had a growth on his spine, so that had to be removed too," Lee says. Lee is now struggling to pay for all of Jace's medical care. She launched this Waggle campaign, hoping you will help them. "Being on Disability has been very tough on me," she says. "Especially financially; I barely am able to live check to check. Jace never gave up on me, and I'll never give up on him in return. A pets' unconditional love cannot be matched."
BABYDOLL
BabyDoll is a nine-month-old Cocker Spaniel in Inglis, FL, who needs $2000 for urgent surgery.

Tiffini T. is distraught. Her cherished service dog, BabyDoll, was hit by a car and needs immediate surgery to fix her broken femur. But Tiffini and her family can't afford the operation. "My fight with Leukemia left us financially broke," Tiffini tells Waggle. "If I can come up with half of the money, the hospital will match it. I desperately need to raise $2500. BabyDoll is expected to have a full life ahead if she can have the surgery." BabyDoll started as Tiffini's service animal, but she's become a treasured family member. "I have a lot of medical issues, and my doctor recommended I get a service animal," Tiffini says. "My youngest son is one-year-old, and they are inseparable. He won't leave her side since she's become immobile. She is also a daddy's girl. My husband has been in tears every day since the accident. We need BabyDoll in our lives! Please help save her!"
Meeko
Meeko is a seven-month-old kitten in New York, NY, who needs $1,714 for urgent care.

Meeko had a devastating start in life. He plummeted from a third-story balcony when he was just a few months old. The kitten fractured his leg in two places, and his human family could no longer care for him. But Meeko's fate changed when Sam W. and his girlfriend met him. "After his fall, he was surrendered by his old owners. Within minutes of meeting Meeko, he was kissing my hand. I knew it would be costly but just couldn’t leave the sweet guy behind," Sam tells Waggle. The staff at Carnegie Hill Veterinarians is treating Meeko. Every week, he needs his leg splint changed, and because of his energy, he needs to be sedated. He also developed an infection on his injured leg, which the medical team monitors. Meeko will continue to have X-rays on his leg to make sure it is healing properly. Sam and his girlfriend are incredible to come to Meeko's rescue, but the couple, who lives in New York City, are scrambling to come up with the money to pay for all of Meeko's care. "Living in NYC is never cheap, and because of the pandemic, my girlfriend and I are living essentially on one income," Sam says. "Seeing Meeko healthy and living out his happiest and most energetic life would mean everything to us. We just want to give him the home he deserves." The couple is so happy Meeko is now part of their family and can't wait for him to be healthy. Despite the kitten's condition, he is still full of energy. "Meeko is the sweetest kitty you’ll ever meet and melts your heart when he looks into his eyes or puts his head in your hand for chin scratches," Sam adds. "But he doesn’t allow you to let your guard down too much because he’s only a second away from making you laugh when he spazzes out and wants to start playing with his toys. He just wants to be loved and will let you pick him up, hold his paws, kiss his pink nose, and kiss his belly." Please help Meeko get back on his feet again!
Skylar
Skylar is a 4-year-old Mixed Dog in Dallas, TX, who needs $800 for Leg Injury/ Fracture Repair.

We got Skylar from a friend who found her & her siblings in the woods in Missouri. They brought them all back & we fell in love when we seen all of their photos. We have had her for about a month now. She has an older brother named Hoss & they get along well. She rescues him from closed doors when he gets trapped! Lol Skylar loves to play! She is very energetic & loves to play with bigger dogs. She sleeps in her crate with her toys throughout the night. Occasionally she sleeps with us. Everyone who meets her loves her & wishes they say her first. Super friendly & loving pup! She likes her dad more. She follows him everywhere! Even now she is still trying to follow behind him & play with her friend Arlo. Skylar is curious about everything. She can be a little timid at first with new people but if you give her a treat she will be your best friend. She is pretty well known around the neighborhood. A lot of people have new puppies around here so she loves taking strolls to see everyone. Anytime we take her to PetSmart she has to pick a toy lol skylar was playing with a bigger friend & got hurt pretty bad. Judging from the aftermath it looked like they were playing on the couch both decided to jump off at the same time & hit our hardwood floors pretty hard. The other dog also landed on her. Animal Chew Clinic is working with us to get her taken care of. Tim has been very helpful. As of right now she needs X-Rays to see what the damage is I work for Wag! so my income can be up & down. With COVID vaccines it has gotten better since more people are able to go back to work. Jordan works full time but he covers all household expenses. Skylar is his first dog & he is so sad that she is in pain. We love her so Much

Maggie joined our family from the Kentucky Humane Society. We went to the cat café and she was the smallest kitten in the room, and also the only one who would give my husband the time of day, He immediately fell in love with her and she came home with us the next day. Currently Maggie is a big and little sister. She has two doggie siblings and a little kitten sister. Maggie is a very timid girl. She does not enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new things. Her doggie siblings make her feel safe, and when she is scared she often looks to them and hides underneath them. Her little kitten sister constantly demands her attention and brings her out of her shell and shows her playful side. Maggie is our "bland" girl to her kitten sister's "spicy" personality. Maggie is very loving and we love to hear her when she gets super content. When she is super happy, Maggie does what we call "doving". She makes a sound that is a mix of a purr and coo. It is something that we have never heard a cat do before and it is the best compliment she could give us. Maggie's skin issues are somewhat of a mystery. We have taken her to the vet many times over the past few months, and everything they have tried has not worked. She licks her belly and now tail until it is raw and bleeding. We have tried a cone, a onesie, anti-anxiety medicine, allergy medicine, pheromone collars, steroid injections, food change, different cleaning products, and baths. My husband and I are both students who are not able to work any more than we already are. We have three other animals to support and Maggie now needs to see a specialist for her issues. We have spent over $500 already, and the dermatologist will require at least $300 more.
