Morgan is 10 years old and a mix of French Spaniel Shih Tzu. My son was going away to a college in Maryland to Morgan State. I named her after the college. My decision to keep her was to help me not miss my son, and to provide company for her mom. Her siblings were given away as gifts. Morgan was of great help to her aging mom and very sweet to her. Her mother passed away in 2014 of old age. Morgan has a very sweet nature. She likes to be in the room where I am. If I go to the kitchen, she follows me there. She even likes to follow me to the bathroom. She knows she can’t be in the kitchen when I cook, so she hangs her two paws just over the threshold. She sleeps at the foot of my bed or on the floor beside me. I’m a high school English and drama teacher and I don’t have a lot of savings. I’m always giving to others especially my students. I spend a lot of my own money to help with my school’s theatrical productions, for that reason my credit card is maxed out. The initial doctor visit cost $700 and wiped out my meager savings. She has a tumor in her uterus. Because she’s otherwise healthy I think she has a good chance to live a long time after the surgery. She is being cared for by Dr. Miyashrio at South Bay Veterinary Care. If she was suffering in pain, I’d seek a different outcome. I wouldn’t be selfish. but she still runs and jumps on the couch. Morgan’s my buddy, and we are always together. We study together, exercise together. Well, I exercise she watches and counts. She’s not a barker unless something is really wrong. She watches the house and let’s me know when danger is lurking, like a fly in the room. She likes to run around in the back yard and roll around in the grass on her back.

A police woman has 2 children and lives in Colorado Springs. Her son started developing severe allergies over the kitty so I found her situation on craigslist and we arranged to meet. A friend & I drove there and this kitty ran out to greet us, got on top of her cat tree and rolled over so that we could pet her belly. My Apt is neat & clean & Fiona has a full life. We're best friends! Fiona keeps me company. I am a widow. I lost my husband 7 years ago and I live on a modest budget but I really need her and she shows me that she needs me. She makes me very happy to get up each morning. She's a typical orange tabby; very sweet and loving and very funny! Lots of windows and views for Fiona! I have 3 cat trees! I'm a widow for 7 years now. My husband outlived his term life insurance by 1 year. I live on $1018 month and that includes my rent, which is $191 per month. I pay electric and have no TV. I just use the internet to get my news or email my 3 grandkids in California. In a few months she will need an FVRCP, and a RABIES shot, I would like to get the 3 year shot on both of these because it's less visits to the VET which stresses her out. My eyesight isn't that good so I'd really like to have her nails trimmed. Fiona will see Fremont Veterinary Hospital in Canon City, CO with Dr. Ashley Metcalfe DVM. I live nearby a pond so Fiona has lots of Cat TV. She watches squirrels and ducks and birds most of the morning then naps the day away until early evening. She wiggles her behind when the squirrels come up to her windows. She misses me when I'm gone for an hour and talks to me when I get home. She likes a very clean litter box, un perfumed so I keep it that way for her.

My dad always wanted a dog and to name it Rascal. My sister was visiting for Christmas and we decided to make his wish come true. December 21, 2016 this beautiful creature chose us to adopt her from Miller Indiana Humane Society. She is the most chill dog I have ever met. We was approx 1 year old and a Shepard/Akita mix on that day. Since my dad has passed away she is more MY sidekick and friend. Rascal I feel is more of a support dog. She has so much patience for babies and toddlers. She hates storms and fireworks and I've researched many things to make those easier for her. Finally had to get a med from vet. Each night she had a routine with my sister to fight "monsters" which are plain animal cookies. Most everything else is done by or with me like sleeping next to me. I mentioned before I have lupus. Most days I'm fine but I am on very limited disability. I really hate asking for help with ANYTHING but I'm putting my pride away for her. Rascal can't take care of this and it's up to me to help her. She means the world to me. Dad passed and money has been REALLY tight. Sister moved in but COVID-19 made things worse for her as far as work which also affected me. Thank goodness we received stimulus check. Paid what we had to and reserved some for Rascal for checkup at Lake Station Pet Clinic in Indiana. The exams and bloodwork took all the reserve money. During exam they found 2 knots in anal gland. Glad must be removed. Rascal is definitely a character. She is a clown. Since I have lupus there's days I don't feel all that good. I'll make sure she's been out to do her business and she gets fresh everything when she comes in for breakfast and then I'll go lay back down. Only takes about 5 minutes before she knows to come find me and lay with me until I feel better or one of us has to go to the bathroom lol.

Kate is a retired breeder I adopted from a reputable Ragdoll breeding business. I had adopted an extremely shy adult cat prior to her and hoped that her outgoing and confident personality would bring the shy cat out of his shell. It worked and they had lots of fun together. Back then I had a well-paid part-time job so I shower them with food and treats and offer them the best life I can afford. Kate is confident, affectionate and expressive. She likes to snuggle into my blanket when I'm sleeping. She's eager to greet whoever comes to visit me. Her extra fluffiness makes her an adorable creature. She's my emotional support animal, and she helped the other shy cat get used to my place. During the most depressed days, my cats are the sole reason that I refrain from taking my own life. While the previous funds from Waggle was enough to cover a comprehensive exam fee, the X-ray is very costly. I graduated last year but as a foreign-national I waited for a long time for my work authorization to be approved, which unfortunately was hampered due to COVID-19. In April I launched a campaign on Waggle to raise funds for her to get a routine dental cleaning, assuming that a budding dental disease may be the issue for her to frequent throw up her food along with her hairball at least once every other day. However, the vet determined that she did not have a dental issue, but unable to determine her issue without an X-ray exam. Kate likes to sleep as much as I do. She sleeps on the couch, over the couch, on my coat, on my bag, etc., all over the place. She likes to play with the laser. She likes to make out with my other cat and they help clean up each other. I sometimes get envious of their relationship as I just ended my 4-year relationship not long ago.

Doodlebug came to us as a service dog in training for Martin's PTSD and has been a delight. Very quick to learn. She goes everywhere with us and has learned her basic training. We live on 998$ a month disability so classes for her training and her shots are on hold. When Marty isn't feeling well, she never leaves his side. She is still nervous riding in the car although she has done so all her life. We have had to move a lot since we have no permanent home and she adapts well. She loves to visit all her people friends and has several dog friends. She likes to play fetch and is scared of truck noises and the compressor coming on. She doesn't like the water hose but likes to take a shower. She met a rat and an opossum Doodlebug has become vital to Marty's health recovery and he is devestated that she is sick and we can't afford to help her. We are currently asking friends for a small loan. She has been in perfect health until 7/14/ when she began throwing up through the night and all the next day dry heaves. Coughing and sneezing. We took her to a vet, they had no one available and sent us to the Animal Hospital. They told us it would be a minimum 220$. All we have for rest of the month is 100$ and will gladly give it up. We were turned down for a credit payment due to low score No matter how many times you say "outside " she tilts her head. She enjoys her outfits once they're on and her Puparoni treats. She is a ham at the doctors office and has very nice manners. When we clip her nails we have to sneak up on it, otherwise she nips. Tried a cloth muzzle with mixed results.

We got Marco and his brother polo after our cat cloudy passed away.. they were on Facebook and we got them. They are a year old. They live with 3 guinea pigs,2 chinchillas and a German shorthair pointer.. 3 adults and a 15 year old. We are a animal loving family and always have pets. They are both very much connected to each other. Always together, Both cats are crazy.. Marco likes to meet in the bathroom while your doing your business.. he jumps in your lap and it’s cuddle time.. he also likes to jump on your back if you make the mistake of bending over if he is near.. he’s nice to everyone else but on moms back he turns circles and bites me.. cause that’s funny apparently. My husband doesn’t work so I support our family and pets. I take care of my 105 year old grandma. And get about 34 hrs a week. Marco is not only special to us but also to his brother. He is the emotional support animal for my 15 year old daughter.. One Friday the 22nd Marco got sick. He was fine in the morning ate breakfast. Family said he stayed on there beds all day, ( I worked all day) and that night he wouldn't eat. He was also lethargic. The vet at New Carlisle Animal Clinic said he had a infection and his colon was dark and almost like it was dying and he had never seen anything like it. Marco is the cuddly one he talks to me in the mornings he loves everyone.. he’s a picky eater. His brother Polo complete opposite. Marco likes to play fetch with hair ties. He will bring the back to you if you throw them.. he likes to also drop things in his water dish. He likes to jump on your back if you make the mistake of bending over and he is near you..

Cocoa rescued my husband & I six weeks ago while we were at a foster home. After the loss of our beloved cat 2 months ago, we went to look at 2 brothers who were scared & hiding. Along comes this sweet & friendly Siamese named Cocoa & it was an instant connection for the 3 of us. We knew Cocoa was meant to be ours. Cocoa is so sweet & follows me around the house all day except when he' s napping or we are playing. He loves being the center of attention after living with 10 other cats in a foster home for 5 years. In the evening its my hubby' s turn & Cocoa makes sure to give us equal attention. Cocoa has a special bond with each of us. Being unemployed due to Covid-19 since March & previous expenses for sick cat, we weren' t prepared to have major expenses for a cat we' ve only had for 6 weeks We hope specialist is wrong in her opinion & are hoping RX' s prescribed give us a miracle. We love Cocoa. Concerned when I heard Cocoa cough & sneeze so took him to our vet Dr Carmona at Coral Breeze Animal Hospital not even 24 hrs after bringing him home. He had a double ear infection, upper respiratory infection, tapeworm & flea dirt. After treatment still coughing & sneezing so back to vet for cultures. All negative, so we were referred to a specialist who feels he probably has inoperable tumor. In the 6 short weeks we' ve had Cocoa, he' s brought happiness & joy back into our house. He' s such a good cat, comes when called, loves belly rubs & even lets us trim his nails. We laugh when he zooms around the house after finishing in the litter on a daily basis & runs thru the tunnel we got him.
Sawyer

As a teacher, we found this little guy wandering around campus. He struggled to get around because he had an obvious injury. The students pick him up placed him in a box and I took him home to care for him. At home I was able to give him a bath and see that his leg had been broken and dislocated. He didn't seem to be in any pain, suggesting the injury was old. He was extremely underweight and I was concerned about his internal injuries. Fires in our area closed down the vet hospitals for a couple days so in the mean time we fed him and cared for him. He has been slowly putting on weight over the past couple weeks. The first vet visit was not what we expected: the leg would need to be amputated and a ruptured or herniated diaphragm. We tested fecal matter and found Sawyer also is carrying a bacteria that needed to be fixed with an antibiotic. This we have taken care of, but the amputation and procedure to fix the herniated diaphragm is out of our ability for financial reasons. The estimate for the leg is at least one thousand dollars, but this won't be done until he had survived the first surgery which is to repair his diaphragm. Sawyer has spent his days waiting for surgery in the company of my two dogs and one other cat. He constantly tries to cuddle with them and sleep near their warm bodies. At night he nuzzles up to my chest or face and purrs. He sleeps with me every night, and enjoys sleeping under the covers.
