This precious little girl came into my life about 10 days ago. Although it hasn't been that long she's latched on to my heart and I just wanted to be able to give her the good life she deserves. Born outside from a feral mom. She hasn't had a chance in life due to her current medical condition. The time that I was able to spend with her we bonded and now I will never let her go. She was born outside to a feral mom. She interacted with her siblings quite well and seem to be pretty playful. She loved her mom and messing with her mom's tail. She's spunky and that is why I named her jet due to the fact it took me so long to get her and be able to take her to the vet cuz she was so quick. My husband and I were both laid off from our jobs due to Covid. That is where do financial problem started. When I saw this precious little girl I just couldn't let her suffer. I couldn't live with myself if I had not helped her. I'm going to keep her and give her an incredible life however they will not accept payments for the care she has received. I just want to be able to bring her home and keep her safe She has been at the hospital and I won't rest until she's back I noticed a large pinkish red bump on her behind. When I was finally able to get her from outside I realized what it looked to be a prolapsed anus yeah. I took her to the urgent Veterinary right away. She in fact had a prolapsed anus amongst other things which included tapeworm and ringworm and eye infection fleas and bad diarrhea. she is currently at Wilson's Veterinary and she has been there for about 10 days I was hoping to bring her home today but do not have the funds for the whole bill. They do not accept payments She's just a spunky little girl that seems to love life and everyone around her. She likes to explore and try to be the big sisterto her siblings although they are the same age. She's never really had the chance to show her full personality to me but when I took her to the urgent veterinarian she wouldn't let me go. It tore my heart in two to have to leave her there. I just want her to come back home and feel safe and loved.

I found Aubie on June 5, 2007, a year after I adopted Bogart. After I found him, he started bothering me, wanting to be friends. I tried to discourage him because I had Bogart but he wouldn't give up. He was determined we were going to be buddies. I admitted defeat and he bonded with me, by his choice. Since then he "kisses" me each day by rubbing his nose against mine and is always with me. Aubie loves me, he has no interest with anyone else. He spends his days and nights with me, talking as if I can understand him (I wish I could). I have to feed him he usually won't eat unless I hold his plate of food for him He likes to eat out of my hand. He is my world, as I seem to be his. He is dedicated, loyal and loving, the most incredible friend I have ever had. I am disabled and have VERY limited SSI. I do not know how much this is going to cost but I need my little buddy, he's the light of my life. I can't find employment because of my age and history of intense insulin reactions so I have what little I receive to care for Aubie Aubie vomited bile just after midnight on 7-18-20. He ate less that day and vomited bile again that night. I was able to get him to the vet the morning of 7-20. He ate a good breast that morning and vet said it was fur balls. He has eaten very little since and nothing today. I fear it's something very serious. He is being treated by at Animal House Vet Clinic by Becky Senicz. Aubie picked me to bond with, I had nothing to do with his choice. He spends all his time with me. I have diabetes and many years ago he learned to identify my low blood sugar. He'll first tell me by staring. If I don't respond, he'll begin to meow, letting me know I'm having a problem. Because of him, I avoid the bad insulin reactions I had before he taught himself to recognize my problem.
Benji

We got Benji and his sister Hazel from a farm a couple weeks ago. Both extremely thin and malnourished, anemic and had parasites. Unfortunately Hazel only lived for 3 days after we brought her home, but Benji is still kicking! We refer to him as our “problem child” because of his health issues and worries. He has already been to the vet 4x since we have had him. Benji is so sweet with everyone in the house, us, kids, cats and dogs. He is always purring and looking for attention and happy to cuddle on your lap or curl up with the dogs on the couch! He lets the kids carry him around and loves to sleep in bed with his favorite humans! He got his name Benji because he is our Benjamin Button. Born sick and frail but will hopefully get healthier as he grows! We are a one income family, my husband works and I am in school. We have two toddlers and simply can not afford multiple vet visits in a one to two week time frame. Taking him once or twice a month is one thing but 4x in one week is a lot. Benji has had several medical issues since we have brought him home. He came home anemic, malnourished, he had worms and was dehydrated. We got him to the vet and they were “cautiously optimistic” our most recent visits were because his eyelid no longer closes so he needs chronic treatment for that. Now we are running the risk of severe illness, he has liquid stool and won’t eat much. Benji is a special kitten because he is the last survivor from his litter. We are trying very hard to keep him going, sometimes there are setbacks but he makes it worth it. He is honestly the sweetest kitten you’ll ever meet. He gives nose kisses and loves to curl up with you. He is also very vocal, he is tiny but his purr is loud, you can easily hear it across the room!

I adopted Maxiene from a rescue organization. Maxiene was taken from her original owner by the Humane Society because she was being abused & used as a "BACK YARD BREEDER"., meaning she was being used to deliver puppies for money. She was in dire need of medical treatment & surgery so she was removed from the people who were abusing her. I adopted her & have had her for a year now. Maxiene is the life of the party. She has brought so much happiness to me & my kids. Maxiene is like a child to me, not a pet. She loves to eat and snuggle. She sleeps in the bed with me or my kids every night. She loves to take rides in the car. Belly rubs are a must! She will return the love you give to her with plenty of kisses. I am unemployed due to the covid 19 pandemic. I am a single mother of 3 kids & right now we are living off my unemployment benefits. I can't afford to get Maxiene the care she requires. I am asking for help with her heartworm injection & shots required to keep her healthy. I am in need of help paying for Maxienes yearly shots & heartworm treatment injection. Due to the lack of care from the original owner Maxiene has heartworms. Maxiene can't go without her heartworm shot. It has to be given consistently every 6 months in order for the shot to kill the heartworms for good & keep her healthy & her yearly shots are also due. Maxiene is very special to us. You can't help but smile or giggle when she is around you. She has a keen ear for wrappers. She will be on the opposite side of the house & if she hears a wrapper you can't bet she will appear within seconds. She sleeps on her back with her legs in the air and her head on her pillow. Yes, I said her pillow. This dog is something else.

I scooped up Gracie at 12 weeks from a family She's a hearty eater and supplemented her puppy diet with furniture, walls and carpeting. She never could out-run Maya and the race is on! They play with each other all day in a huge outdoor playground. There’s a dog-mobile in the perfect dog spot. The bed/couch in the living room is the heart of our family while Gracie is truly the soul. Gracie lives the best dog life ever. She and friend Maya have a minivan doghouse in their favorite spot of the day. The girls play outside for hours, coming to check, get a drink, and go out to run and nap more. They come in at dark to have dinner and dessert. Every night Gracie swings a long snake all around squeaking loud! She loves playing tag, stick and racing around on the trails. Then we nap In 2 years, I've had multiple challenges and bad luck and I have spent every penny I have on her. We have made it this far, and we are almost there. Gracie hit a sharp 1” piece of metal on a small gate, and hit so hard half the skin ripped off her side. It is a horrendous wound. Gracie has had a special 3rd surgery with advanced techniques. That worked for the tear, but a large wound is still open with sedation and daily bandage changes. I've slept with her 24/7 to keep her calm. It's such a wonderful feeling when she lays her head on you. Gracie is my sweetie! When she wants pets she pushes hard against you and looks up with those big eyes melting over for a belly rub. She loves hogging the couch. She stands on the couch arm, looks down on me and puts her paw up swinging it until I get smacked. I look up, and get covered in kisses which makes me laugh and she does it more and it makes me laugh even more and on it goes.

Rouch (Boo Boo kitty or Boo Boos her Nick names) I found her across from my trailer coming up the hill from the pond. I heard cries and went out looking. First I found her brother. Then my little girl came up to me. I picked her up, she snuggled up to me she picked me that day. She has been my angel since. And now she needs me to be her angel and save her. I NEEDS HELP PLEASE HELP ME HELP HER. Rouch sleeps with me she will come up and pat her law on the covers for me to pick up the blankets and she walks up under the blanket and turns around then lays down in the bend of my arm and lays her head down on my shoulder. I am only allowed to give her one time a pet on top of her head. If I try to pet her more she nips at me. Just enough to tell me she does not want to be bugged. Just sleep. I am being evicted; my BF was working for the land lord up until he hit my BF and hit 2 other employees so they all have not worked for him for the last few months. My boyfriend has worked for our rent since 2018. The land lord gave use a pay or vacate for $10000. I am not sure what is going on with her she when she started loosing weight I thought it was because for the last few months she has been in heat for 5 days and then out for 2 to 3 days and then back in heat again. I have tried to get help to have her fixed but this virus stuff has stopped every thing. Now it has got worse and she is vomiting and her weight has got way worse. Rouch also talks to me she says momma, no and ow. I am not the only one that has heard her talk. I believe and the 3 other people that have heard her talk think that she know what she is saying. She is by far the smartest cat and is I think the most beautifully house cat right down to her heart shaped nose. Everybody even non cat people tell me how beautiful she is. She has such big eyes and ears.

Hello, my name is Kacie and I'm writing about my doggy Lil Bit. He's 16 and he's been through so much. He was my dad's dog and they were best friends and then my dad passed away of lung cancer in 2012. Lil bits heart was broken and then he attached himself to my older brother and they were even closer. Unfortunately my brother died in July. A semi truck hit him head on and he died instantly. So Lil bit came to live with me and let me tell you we are closer than close. He's like my child. I love him fiercely. He's snuggly, funny and we are pretty much attached to the hip. I've never loved someone so much.

We had seen a post in our local small town newspaper from a backyard breeder who was having to “get rid” of a whole liter of American Cocker Spaniels bc they had to move. These puppies were only 7weeks old and My Cheyenne was the runt of the litter. We were told a price and by the next day, the breeder called the us and we talked him down to $80 with AKC registration. Cheyenne has been a lifesaver for both my husband & I. When he had knee surgery, she “daddy” sat with him and she has helped me so much with her love with my anxiety/depression. Everyone who comes into our home says she’s beautiful and so “loving”, all she ever wants in return is to have her back side close to her waggle tail to be scratched I. Exchange for all her LOVE! I lost my job of 14yrs in Oct 2018, no income/unemployment since May 2019, husband not working. It would make our day to see our baby look up at us with those deep dark Cocker Spaniel eyes and not see the gunk running out of her eye & not seeing the tumors, I know I’ll cry! When Cheyenne was about 5-7 yrs old she had a growth come up on her eyelid. The vet at the time told us he could remove it, all he did was just snip it off, therefore it has came back now w/ a vengeance. Now has multiple tumor Growths on top of each other And making it difficult to even close her eye. Stays runny & infected. Ash is a rescue from a high volume shelter out of the area. He was recently transferred to our shelter so that we can help find him a forever home to live out the remainder of his years in. While he is in our shelter, we are working hard to get him healthy so that he can get a fresh, new start in his new home. Ash is a friendly and sweet little guy. He has been friendly with all of the shelter staff despite all of the medical problems he came to us with. He has been such a trooper with all of the treatments that he has gone through and continues to be a happy go lucky little guy. We are excited to help him find a forever home once he has recovered enough to be ready for adoption! As a non profit, no kill shelter, our funding is limited and based on donations, grants, and other fundraising methods. When we have a pet with outstanding medical costs, we often have to get more creative with our funding to make sure we can provide the care needed. When Ash came to our shelter we quickly realized that he had some severe kidney issues. We took him into Sunny Brae Animal Clinic since he was getting very sick and they tested his kidney levels and found they were way above the normal range. Luckily his levels have dropped significantly after spending many days at the vet. He doing much better and is now on a special diet to help his kidneys. He have found Ash to be special for a number of reasons. He has been consistently friendly and sweet despite all that he has gone through since he arrived at the shelter. All his medical problems have been really tough on him but we have been amazed by his resilience and how he continues to be such a sweet little dog!
