We met Lupita when Jason noticed her following him home one day. She was emaciated and covered in flea and fire ant bites. We gave her water (it was about 95 outside) and she soon became a part of our lives. Her and her sister Lola are the sweetest pups. They love to cuddle together. She loves falling asleep touching all the rest of her pack, her sister Lola, her dad Jason, and me.

You know how some animals come into your life and they kind of become your soul mate? You connect to the point where you can even tell what the other is thinking? That is the relationship Trinity, and her owner, Liz H., have. "Her name is Trinity because she is three different colors. She is my child, and we've grown an inseparable bond over twelve years," Liz says. Liz tells Waggle Trinity was the one who knew they were supposed to be together. "Trinity came into my life when I was living alone in college. An acquaintance I knew at work had a cat that had five kittens. She didn't know what to do and was ashamed to take them to a shelter. I offered to find them homes. Trinity chose me when she fell asleep on my neck at a month old," Liz adds. Liz is struggling to afford the surgery Trinity needs in these tough economic times and is begging for help. "My significant other and I are currently living on a one-person income due to him losing his job. This surgery was not expected." Now it's Liz's turn to save Trinity again. Her beautiful cat's paw has an open, swollen, and infected wound. "It is possibly a tumor that is cancerous, or this is an autoimmune disorder," Liz says. "We have been treating it now for five months with antibiotics and steroids, and it continues to come back. Her vet at Animal Care East is trying so hard to find the issue." Ever since Liz picked Trinity, she has shown her endless unconditional love. "Trinity has been my rock through anxiety attacks, panic attacks, depression, loss, emotional pain, and physical pain," Liz adds. "It's almost like our fur children just know when something is wrong, and they are there to heal us. Her purr is true healing power."
Rebel
Rebel is a 6-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi in Claremore, OK, who needs 1,018 for tooth extraction surgery.

Rebel is not only my service animal, he's my best friend. He has been with me thru a horrible divorce, my PTSD attacks and he is the only reason I can leave the house. He loves for me to take him for walks to see the neighborhood kids. When they see him, they scream his name and come running. No matter how bad he feels, he always stops to say hi to each one. We use to play ball, but he doesn't feel like it now.

LaMya is a 11-year-old Lab/German shepherd in Frankfort, KY, who needs $550 for Tail Tumor Removal .

Ms LaMya was found out roaming the area around a nasty pond back in May of 2010. My fiancé found her and rescued her and took her in and began to spoil her. I met my fiancé back in October 2018, and that’s when LaMya came into my life. I’m a big pet lover and LaMya stole my heart from the moment she met me! We brought another rescue pup into our home in March of this year, her name is Meeka. LaMya loves to sleep in the floor right next to my side of the bed. She will not sleep on her big bed I got her, she wants to lay right next to her Mama. She loves to steal treats when I pull them out of the box before I can even get her to sit to give it to her. I don’t have any human children so LaMya has become my one and only child! I have severe asthma so due to this COVID, I was told by my doctor that I can’t be working around everyone. I have applied for unemployment but I’m still fighting to get my backpay and on going money. If Lamya could get her surgery Id be bless That she would be out of pain. Lamya has had this hard bubble close to the end of her tail for a few years now and here in the last 6 months, it’s gotten big! Old vet said it was just a cyst and it would be fine. It would bust and drain and fill back up. We took her to a new vet near our house and the doctor said it was actually a tumor. Dr King at Frankfort vet clinic said 3” of tail needs cut off to keep it from coming back. Lamya is special because she is so much like me, I eat ranch on everything and Lamya now loves ranch and has to have some every time that I eat it. Lamya makes me feel special because I’m a heavy set person and Lamya has a few extra pounds on her like me so I feel like I have someone else and I’m not alone on being heavy! Her nickname is Fat Dog Cow Pig!

Two years ago my 2 children and I moved into an apartment after being pretty much homeless for 4 months prior. My daughter begged and begged to get a dog... Finally I gave in after 5 months of constant begging... We adopted Georgia from the Humane Society at 6 weeks old and she's been the best companion anyone could ever ask for. We also have adopted a stray cat that has become her best friend! Georgia has a very strong personality. She loves attention, she loves learning new tricks and she is incredibly intelligent. She has to sleep with myself or my daughter under the covers and she refuses to be left alone unless its absolutely necessary. She pouts and looks like Eeyore if she gets upset or left alone or if she is scolded. She loves to be with the kids and I no matter where we are. Due to the corona virus I have not been able to work hardly at all. I have very little help or support I have had to be at home with my kids on a constant daily basis. I have no other income and it hurts me to see Georgia in pain every day and not being able to do anything. Georgia unfortunately has Pyoderma. She is allergic to A LOT of things and about two months ago her ears got infected and I am yet to relieve the constant pain that she stays in. I have taken her to the vet twice and each time I am not able to afford the complete treatment she needs in order to overcome this. She needs an ear culture and and ear rinse and several medications to get better. Georgia is a one of a kind. We live in a big apartment complex and everyday when i walk Georgia there's not one person who sees us or passes us that doesn't call out to Georgia or is stopping to pet her. I don' even know half of these people but EVERYONE knows Georgia. She LOVES kids and i am yet to meet a kid or adult who doesn't absolutely adore her. She's like the neighborhood "nanny dog"!!

Henry was found on an abandoned home's porch along with his litter mates and momma last August. My neighbor brought him to me because momma wouldn't feed him. He was 4 weeks old and he's been my constant companion since. Henry will be a year old mid-July but I chose July 4 as his birthday because it was independence for both of us from our situations. Henry lives with me, his grandmother, and two Chihuahua sisters, Bella and Daisy. He loves playing with his sisters and he's actually quite dog-like when he plays. He loves scratches from Mom and granny, tricks us both into giving him treats, and watches birds from the windows (where he has beds and good views). He's loving towards everyone but has bonded to me most of all. Now that I'm just receiving partial SS it has put the plan to get Henry fixed on hold since I lost my job. I just want him to thrive and be healthy. I know this is a tough time to ask for help but we appreciate it! I only need help paying for half the surgery. Thank you!!!!! I lost my job in January and due to COVID am having a tough time finding something I can handle with my disability. Due to this, Henry still has not been neutered. He had all shots by November and plans were to get him fixed in January. We go to Advantage Veterinary in High Ridge, MO. Dr. Schatz sees all my pets. Henry came into my life at a bad time: my lupus was acting up, I found out I have kidney disease from lupus, and school and work were overly stressful. He never stops making me laugh! He's a talker. He walks around just yelling as loud as he can, he jumps the walls, climbs curtains, and plays like a dog. He even runs to the door and lines up when the dogs go out to do their business.

I rescued Coco from the streets. He has been in the streets for some time now so we decided to bring him into our home. He was in bad shape when we first took him to the vet. He had intestinal parasites, fleas, a bad skin infection, and heart worms. We have managed to get everything under control except for the heart worms. He is currently on preventative and Doxycyclin, but will need treatment. Coco is a lazy lab boy. He enjoys belly rubs and snuggling. He guards my 2 year old daughter over night as they love snuggling at night. Although he is not as active as other dogs he enjoys sitting outside while I have my morning coffee. Coco has quickly become part of our family and after having so many bad years of hunger, cold, and heat in the streets, he deserves all the love he can get. Due to the pandemic my husband lost his job and managed to find another but took a huge pay-cut. As a result we no longer have the means to pay for the remaining of his treatment. It would mean the world for us to have Coco healthy again especially for my 2 year old daughter Luckily we have gotten rid of the parasites, fleas, skin infection, and even managed to grow hair on his back where he used to have scabs due to the infection. The only thing left is the heart worms. We are taking him to Humble Animal Hospital to treat him as soon as we raise the funds to pay for his treatment. We are hoping to cure him and provide a loving home for years to come. Coco has suffered from abuse so he is extremely sensitive to loud. noises or screams. he will run and hide if you raise your voice even when not directed towards him. He is terrified of thunder and rain. I would imagine anyone would be if they had to live and sleep in all kinds of weather. On rainy days we cuddle and watch movies in my room because its nearly impossible to get him out of that room

Digit is a 10-year-old Toy Poodle in Bowie, MD, who needs $1,661 for Anal Gland Removal Surgery.

Digit was partially gifted to me as a puppy ten years ago by my neighbor when she became my service animal. Her name came out of a joke. When I got her she was 3 pounds and I said that she was “a few digits short of a hand full.” The name “Digit” stuck. As a service dog she tells me if I have not taken my medication but, she also calms me if I'm unwell. Digit will chase laser pointers and play "tug-o-war" but will not fetch a ball, ever! She sleeps up against me at night. When I’m settled under the covers, she noses my arm at the top of the sheets to be let underneath. Digit steals blueberries from my carton and hides rice cakes behind the pillows. When at the computer, she is lays across my leg(s). She is always next to me ready to do her job. I rely wholly on disability income. As my constant companion Digit has saved my life on more than a few occasions. Except for an emergency hysterectomy a 3 years ago, she is in perfect health. I find no words able to fully express what Digit means to me. Due to her size and breed Digit has her anal glands expressed every few months. She has had 3 ruptures, but the last one was 3 weeks after she had clear glands. Our vet says the glands must be permanently removed to stop her suffering. The surgery is set for July 2nd, immediately after the rupture heals. The emergent nature and cost of this procedure has forced me seek help through Waggle. Digit is *tiny* with an extremely friendly personality. People always ask to pet her and take her picture. If she were a woman, she’d be a supermodel I’m sure. I don’t go anywhere that she is not commented about once she’s noticed. Some people see her on my arm and think I’m carrying a stuffed animal, when she moves, they jump and say, “Oh my god, it’s a real dog!” It cracks me up every time.
McLovin
McLovin is a 2-year-old Heinz 57 in Topeka, KS, who needs $900 for Emergency surgery on dog bite received.

McLovin came in to my life 2 years ago as a stray pup found wandering the streets of Topeka, KS. He has became a member of the Family. We also have 2 cats that were adopted in much the same way. Feeding all the strays in our neighborhood and trying to keep them all as healthy as possible. Sometimes end up with more stray cats but can usually find them a good home McLovin has so much personality and loves everyone from my parents to my kids. He loves to run and jump and play with all the kids in the neighborhood and is an emotional support for me. He loves to go for rides in my moms car and climb up on her lap to make sure she has a kiss for the day. He is just always happy and friendly. I lost my job due to Covid and my mom has used most of her emergency funds helping me to support my daughters. It would mean the world to us for McLovin to survive this injury and any help would be greatly appreciated. My middle daughter and I decided to go to our local Cruise night and we thought McLovin would enjoy a night out too. We were sitting in our lawn chairs watching the cars drive by on the Boulevard when 2 pit bulls attacked him and ripped his stomach open. Unfortunately the $1200 estimate is more than I can handle and my parents are on a fixed income and unable to help. I sometimes think and other times know that he knows exactly what I am saying to him. The love he showers on me each and every day makes my day and I would be lost without him. He is my rock in a sometimes rocky world. I have never loved a smarter dog than my Dojo (one of his nicknames) that my mom thinks is his real name;)
