I have had JJ since the day he was born March 15, 2017. I have lost a lot of people dear to me in the last 3 years and JJ has helped me through my dark days. He is a loving cuddly mommies boy with the sweetest little attitude for a cat you will ever meet. He wont even chase bugs, he has been hurt in my neighborhood before with metal BB's, bad abscess because he has been into cat fights protecting the neighborhood cat, but he loves to be outside but knows when it is dinner time and he comes running home. I love JJ he is my world.

Happy is a 9-year-old Catahoula in Oceanside, CA who needs 522 for cancer surgery for mass removal.

I adopted Happy in 2011. I was coming out of a Petco when I saw Happy with her brothers and sisters being adopted out. My attention was drawn to Happy because of her different colored eyes. She has a blue and brown eyes. She won me over by her super happy and affectionate personality. I took her home that day and even at six months I knew my impulsive decision was the right one.

Suza is a 3-year-old Maine Coon in Dallas, TX, who needs 900 for surgical removal of mass in ear.

A few weeks before Christmas 2018 on a day Suza and I rescued each other. He had apparently been abandoned and had taken up shelter underneath my neighbors staircase (later to find out they were going to call animal control to pick him up! That day was unseasonably warm, but a cold front was dropping the temperature rapidly, from the 70's to freezing that night. He showed up on my window by my desk and that's how we met. At the time I was in a very depressed state and so we kind of rescued each other. I named him Suzie not knowing he was a male until the first vet visit when we gave him a more masculine name, Suza as in (John Philip Sousa the famous composer and conductor). Even more magical is that our beloved by everyone family cat, Tigger lived to be 18 years old was a Maine Coon. Suza like Tigger loves people and unlike Tigger very vocal. We have a regular routine of playing laser light games, laying on my lap and drinking running water standing in the bath tube waiting for met turn on the water to just the right amount. We have been together for about two years now and so blessed to have him to keep my spirits up.
Matilda
Matilda is a 3-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux in Fort Scott, KS, who needs $3,065 for surgery to fix her CCL tear (like a human ACL tear).

I drove 8 hours one way to rescue this poor pup when she was 8 weeks old. She was born with a cleft lip, palate and gum. The breeder didn't want her associated with the rest of the litter due to bad publicity for lack of a better term. After I got her home, we went through 5 surgeries to correct the congenital deformities and her palate and gum were corrected - the lip was stubborn and she kept popping the stitches. Since it was just for looks, I decided to stop the surgeries and her nickname is "Snaggletooth". *laughing* She was also born with a corkscrew tail and we had to have it amputated when she was around a year old due to it causing pain when she'd squat to go potty. She's now facing surgery on her nose, as the cleft lip is collapsing the structure of her nostrils and will eventually block her airway - that's scheduled for March 2and. She had a torn CCL and I drove 4 1/2 hours one way and spent all of my savings to have it repaired via TPLO. What I'm needing financial assistance with is another TPLO on the other hand leg. All of these surgeries have pretty much wiped me out and I hate seeing her in pain - it breaks my heart....

Chico was a couple of weeks old when we found him in the forest two years ago. His back feet were paralyzed and he was in very bad shape. We took him to the vet. His belly was so sore and red, they couldn't understand if he's a boy or a girl. They said it looks like he received a blow on his back and he will never use his back feet again. The good news was that he wasn't able to feel and wasn't in pain. They suggested we put him to sleep but we decided to take care of him. We treated his wounds and started to put a diaper on him and make him comfortable. We also express his bladder two times a day to prevent urinary tract infection. In the past two years, Chico has become our family and we really love him. We need your help to make sure Chico lives a long and happy life.

I've have had Lilo since he was 1 day old. He was found on someone's porch all by himself, umbilical cord still attached. I took him in and bottled him every 2 hours and kept him warm and by the grace of god.. he made it!! He's my miracle boy. He has moved from Texas to Oklahoma, back to Texas and now we live in idaho. He is definatly a trooper.

Deuce aka Buck was found under a picnic table on the side of the road with a broken leg, he looked like he had just been hit by a car. He was very sweet from the very beginning even while dealing with the initial injury, but now the vet thinks the pins have shifted in the bone and are causing him pain.
