Cloudy
Cloudy is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Indianapolis , IN, who needs $1,000 for Amputation.

In June of this year I met this cutie we have since named Cloudy! She had fleas and was dirty. We gained her trust and took her in. In the beginning of October we noticed she had a limp. We took her to the vet and found out she has a femoral head fracture. Her leg has atrophied and she needs either a FHO or a amputation. She's taking pain meds surgery is 1.7k-2.5k. We can't cover about 1k of this. A consultation is 200 and the surgery can be 1,700-1,900 for amputation and 1,900-2,500 for FHO id love to be able to keep her leg but if more time passes they won't be able to save the leg. She goes to Noah's in indiana! She's just a puppy 1hr old. She play fights and chews everything up! She means well but will be getting coat this year.... though she'll chew that too. She loves kids but is fearful of many things from abuse in the past. But she finally feels safe and let's us know. Alot of our days are spent cuddling and hugging her and she give you a warm smile! My family couldn't just turn her away to the street or the pound but we are a house of 6 people ages 7-63 with disabilities and some unable to work. We take care of a severely disabilities 10yr old. I've always want a dog and she's always want a pack! Make our Christmas!!

* Big Little Life Animal Rescue * Poor Otto is covered in infected wounds from head to toe. Otto’s life has not always been a living nightmare. Born to a stray mama, who was poisoned along with his littermates, Otto was lucky to survive and to be picked up by a kind elderly gentleman, who gave him a home. Otto became his best friend and confidant and never left his side. Until a day the man died. Otto was found by his owner’s body laying next to him, refusing to leave. He was abused by the neighbors, eventually they threatened him and chased him away from his home. No one wanted an old dog. He lost everything, and was left alone with overwhelming grief and fear. Otto was attacked by a pack of stray dogs when he was trying to get some scraps from the dumpster, he had trouble finding safety and food, and soon developed a severe skin infection that kept getting worse. Otto urgently needs medical attention. His wounds need to be cleaned and treated, he needs to be checked for internal injuries, and he needs to receive stitches and antibiotics. Lenny is a 2 month old German Shepherd Dog in Cocoa Beach, FL, who needs $700 for Hernia Repair.

Lenny is the result of accidental breeding. Mama and her 6 puppies went to a family farm (with working dogs), Lenny (and his brother) did not - due to medical conditions. Justin and I intervened to rescue and foster them. Justin paid for food and the first vet visit, but we need help getting Lenny surgery to prevent an impending medical emergency and ensure he is healthy enough to be adopted. Lenny was born with a herniated umbilical chord - a hole in his belly that is very high risk for his organs slipping through (choking and killing part of the organ). If this occurs, it is very life threatening and very expensive to correct. To close the hole and prevent such an emergency, Lenny needs surgery now. Please help us get him healthy enough that he can be adopted to his forever home. Lenny is a chill little guy who loves to lounge around with his person, follow them everywhere, and play outside or with his toys independently. He is a good boy and loyal companion while gardening or enjoying time on the porch. He loves to cuddle as much as he loves to play and responds very well to training and commands. Most of all, he will not give up on life, and longs for his forever home. We had to intervene to save Lenny's life and give him a chance to be loved forever, rather than possibly put down. But, Justin is blind and I am partially disabled, and neither of us can keep Lenny nor afford his surgical care. So, we need your help to save this puppy.

Lets Save the Strays International Barely old enough to open her eyes, baby Billy has already endured more suffering than any living being should. She was a tiny, dinky little thing facing overwhelming odds: Discovered alone, with her head and paw tangled in wire – terrified as torrential rain poured around her. The compassionate bystander who found Billy knew that, without immediate intervention, she likely wouldn’t survive the impending, quickly rising floodwaters. Thankfully, they contacted Let’s Save the Strays International who quickly took her in, prepared to provide the urgent care she needed. After a thorough examination, it was clear that Billy’s injuries were severe. Her tiny foot couldn’t be saved, and she had to undergo an amputation to give her a fighting chance. Her neck wound was cleaned and is slowly healing, but Billy’s care requires constant attention. She needs around-the-clock bandage changes, feedings every 2-4 hours, and daily medications to manage her pain and aid in healing. Billy’s journey will be long, but Let’s Save the Strays is committed to giving her every chance at a long, happy, and healthy life. Now, she could use all the love and support to help her get there. Glove is a 2 month old Mix-Breed in Walterboro, SC, who needs $500 for Complete Tail Amputation.

On the night before thanksgiving I heard some meowing under my house and went out to find this severely injured but very adorable kitten. I spent the rest of the night cleaning his injury and removing at least a hundred maggots. I thought he wasn't gonna make it but as I cleaned and treated him till I could get him to a vet he displayed such an intense will to live I knew I had to fight for him. Glove is going to need a full tail amputation due to the severity of his tail necrosis. Besides his tail he is in remarkable shape and after getting it removed he will hopefully have a lot life as a cuddly, bobtailed lap cat. Since rescuing glove he has shown such incredible resistance to adversity. He would bravely endure having his tail injured cleaned just purring while I tended to it. He's incredibly playful and can't stand to spend a single moment not cuddling or playing. Already having a house full of cats I can't afford to pay for the surgery with my already limited budget. The local shelter would be able to get him his surgery but it would be over a week more of waiting when he could be healing

Hand to Paw Hand to Paw was utterly heartbroken to have found these puppies suffering from such a horrific case of mange and in need of immediate help. The skin and sores on these babies are so horrendous that they almost look like burns. Their owner cares for them deeply, but is unable to provide the care they need. Many in Thailand live at or slightly above the poverty line and cannot afford treatment. Hand to Paw understands the importance of the human-animal bond and provides the veterinary care needed for the pet to be happy and healthy with the ultimate goal of returning the pet to their owner. Despite the clear pain and discomfort these puppies must be in, they are still the sweetest things! They have so much love to give and don't let their condition stop them from doing typical puppy things like playing and begging for snuggles and pets. Hand to Paw treats over 1,000 dogs each year against fleas, ticks, or mange. They are on a mission to help the street dogs of Thailand and improve their quality of life by providing medical treatment, free spay/neuter, and vaccinations. They do not receive any government support and relies on the generosity of donors to make their crucial work possible. ACF Animal Rescue At just a year and a half old, Hula Hoop was abandoned on the streets of Karachi, Pakistan. She was left by her owner, assuming she could no longer walk or had use of her back legs. She was rescued and brought to ACF Animal Rescue. Upon arrival, it was assumed by caretakers that Hula Hoop had a severe spinal injury that rendered her paralyzed. Thankfully, upon further assessment, that assumption was incorrect. Hula Hoop does in fact have use of her legs! She will need physical therapy, pain management, and keep a close eye on her health as her spinal injury was a shock to her body. Hula Hoop is an adorable little girl who makes friends wherever she goes. It is not challenging to get this little one to do her physical therapy, as she sees humans and wants to come over to greet them and does her best walking over to do so! She is still very wobbly, but improves every day. ACF Animal Rescue is so happy about the progress this little one has made so far, but she still has a way to go before regaining her full strength. For three agonizing weeks, this poor boy suffered without the ability to walk, enduring unbearable pain because his finder couldn’t afford the surgery he so desperately needed. Today, there’s hope for Jerry, but we need your help to make it happen. Dr. Hanson, our trusted orthopedic vet, has assured us that with a $3,500 surgery and a myelogram, Jerry has a real chance to walk again. This sweet pup is currently at the orthopedic vet, finally receiving the care he’s been waiting for. His surgery deposit was $1,600, and we are determined to raise the rest to give him the life he deserves. Kanao Rescue Foundation Imagine being dumped as a senior, mostly blind, missing almost all your front teeth, and wandering a creek all alone. Pearl was found by a firefighter and taken to a local municipal. Unfortunately, the shelter is completely overwhelmed and is no place for a senior lady. She broke out with an upper respiratory infection and found herself on the euthanasia list due to age, illness, & medical needs. Thankfully, Kanoa Rescue stepped in and took 15-year-old Pearl into their care. She had 10 teeth removed, and they are hoping the dental clears some of her other issues like her snotty nose & sneezing. She has been struggling with itchy, irritated skin, so she got an injection to hopefully help with that as well! Her eye has been able to clear up, and it's hopeful she won't need surgery. Kanoa Rescue absolutely loves this little senior girl and are beyond thankful they were able to save her from euthanasia. She will most likely not last many more months, meaning she is in hospice, but they will spoil her for the rest of her days! Her muscles have severely deteriorated, so Pearl is often carried around in her little sling- her favorite! She is a gentle girl who loves humans. Pearl will continue to need medical support to make her comfortable. Kanoa Rescue relies on donations to help the animals in their care, and could use a little extra funding if anyone can help.
