Nico is a kitten that I kept from a litter of kittens I had had when I had owned his mother before she had ran away. I do not have a job and there’s no way that I’m gonna be able to pay for his vet bills, which she has a severed nail gland and both his front and back Paul from self-defense Against another cat in the neighborhood And I can’t get him help i can’t afford it I’m pretty sure that the wound will be easy to treat for for a veterinarian, but just to have him looked at to get his wounds cleaned at Fayette County veterinarian hospital. It’s gonna cost almost $100. He’s a talker and follows me around everywhere I go I have had him since he was a new born. And his is my baby and I’m heart broken his had to deal with such a vicious cat fight and I’d suffering im helpless to him because of financial problems You mean the world to me and my kids because he has been a part of our family since he was a baby I’ve had him since he was literally a newborn and he was born in my closet if he doesn’t get better and an infection sets and it would definitely devastate us.

Saving Hope Animal Rescue Omi is a 1-year-old kitty who was part of a feral colony. She was intended to be part of a TNR project, but proved to be very friendly, so she was taken into Saving Hope Animal Rescue. She was with a foster, when they started to notice some lameness in her front left leg around mid-September. Omi has been going downhill ever since, and now is in severe pain and has a chronic fever. She is lethargic and barely wants to eat. She has been back and forth from the vet, receiving multiple x-rays, thorough bloodwork, and antibiotics. She is not responding to any medical treatment, which is breaking our hearts. We are exhausting all options for our sweet Omi. The next step is to aspirate the bone to get a sample of the bacteria in order to find out how to treat her. Her condition is life-threatening and causing too much suffering. The estimate is $2,200 for everything she needs. She will need to stay at the vet for multiple nights for more testing and observation. There is a potential she will need surgery depending on what the testing tells us. Poor Omi deserves answers, and we are determined to give that to her, but Saving Hope needs your help. Samantha came into our lives at 12 weeks old, when we attended an adoption event held by Sacramento's Fosters and Paws. She seemed calm, napping in her enclosure. As soon as we signed the paperwork, we realized...this was not actually a calm dog. We did a DNA test and discovered she's a GSD mix! She's driven, intelligent, and energetic. She's the best! On 11/26, Sammy broke into the kitchen and ate a chocolate bar. While we were dealing with the fallout from that, X-rays showed a weird, sharp looking object in her stomach. After two failed endoscopies, doctors recommended emergency surgery, as the item may have pierced her stomach wall. It was a felting needle that was embedded in her stomach. Sage Veterinary -Concord took excellent care of her. Sammy is an incredibly loving dog. She requires daily couch time with one of her humans, where she lies down with her butt glued to your thigh. She adores our son (especially when he's sitting in his high chair), and patiently lets him grab at her ears. She also grooms the ears of humans she loves. We have pet insurance, but because of the maximum annual payout, we only received about $1100 back from what turned into a $15000 bill (x-rays, two endoscopies, emergency surgery). I was also recently hospitalized with pneumonia, missing a week of pay at my new job.

Brave Soorya Found Paralyzed and Alone on the Streets of Sri Lanka

In the bustling streets of Sri Lanka, where life can be unpredictable, lives a brave young cat named Soorya. Once a spirited feline, Soorya’s life took a tragic turn when he was struck by a vehicle, leaving him with paralysis in his hind limbs. Soorya's journey has been a tough one. After the accident, he was found struggling to move, relying on the kindness of strangers for food and shelter. Baw Baw Animal Welfare stepped in knowing he would need extensive, long-term care. Soorya required immediate medical attention to assess his condition. It was determined the paralysis was caused by a spinal cord injury which occurred during the vehicle accident. He is receiving daily medication and a long-term treatment plan is being developed. Despite his challenges, Soorya’s spirit remains unbroken, and he continues to show resilience in the face of adversity. This beautiful soul deserves a chance to heal and thrive, and with your help, we can make that happen!

Tragedy Strikes Again: Help Charlie Face Yet Another Catastrophe

Almost a year ago, Charlie endured severe cruelty when his heartless owner left him tied to a car and drove off, dragging him along for miles. Despite his harrowing ordeal, Charlie has shown incredible resilience and has been nursed back to health after undergoing multiple surgeries and rehabilitation. However, just 2 days ago, he took a sudden turn for the worse. From being his usual happy self, Charlie started showing signs of pain and difficulty walking, eventually becoming unable to move without crying out in distress. Desperate for answers, D&A Animal Rescue rushed Charlie to an emergency veterinary hospital, who determined that he needed immediate specialist care. After being transferred to the specialist, Charlie underwent a CT scan that revealed a slipped disc, requiring surgery to restore his mobility. While D&A has already spent $3,000 on tests and transfers, the cost of the necessary surgery and post-operative care is estimated to be an additional $4,000. Charlie has been through unimaginable suffering but has never lost his gentle and loving nature. D&A Animal Rescue is devastated and determined to provide Charlie with the care he desperately needs. Save Jason Derulo: Help Us Give This Brave Pup a Fresh Start!

We urgently need your help to save Jason Derulo, a loving 5-month-old Chihuahua mix who has endured unimaginable suffering in such a short lifespan. He was found abandoned on a back country road by Sylvia, who came across him as he was dodging cars in the street. She immediately pulled over. He was shaking and covered in mange and ant bites. When Sylvia took him home, she posted for help. ThisIsHouston saw her plea to save him and without a doubt offered their assistance. She then dropped him off at the ER for immediate treatment. He was diagnosed with demodex, which are microscopic mites that live in hair follicles, sarcoptic mange, and a heart murmur that he will be getting rechecked soon. He’s currently healing and recovering in foster care where he’s slowly growing his hair back. However, more support is needed to ensure that he makes a full recovery and finds a loving home where he can have a chance to live a long and happy life. Every dollar donated will go directly towards covering medicated baths, heart murmur rechecks, and other medications he needs. Together, we can help him recover and find a loving home. Paws N Ada Jack is a young 4-month-old puppy who was left alone to fend for himself after being dumped in a common dumping ground for pets in Oklahoma. Being so young and vulnerable, naturally he was attacked by another stray and was very seriously injured. A Good Samaritan contacted PAWS N Ada rescue reaching out for help for this poor puppy. Thankfully, the rescue team went in and were able to catch Jack. As soon as he was in their care, they immediately took him to their vet to be evaluated. The most concerning injury was the large gash on his stomach. The animal that attacked him created a deep wound, leaving his inside tissue exposed and susceptible to infection. He also had several puncture wounds on various parts of his body. Jack was quickly stitched up and given proper pain medication to manage his wounds. He is safe and being closely monitored as he heals. He has a long journey ahead, but will feel nothing but love and support. He is so young, it is heartbreaking the hardships he has already faced. PAWS N Ada is a non-profit that relies on donations to help dogs like little Jack. Like all dogs, Jack deserves a chance to grow up and be a healthy, happy dog. Jilly is a 13 year old Greyhound in Geneva, OH, who needs $408 for Laceration Repair.

Jilly came to us when she was just 3 years old and she made it apparent that she did not want to leave the sanctuary. She's a bit different that most greyhounds, but she's been thriving here for the last 10 years and we've learned how to attend to her needs. Jilly was startled from her sleep when a very loud truck accidentally dropped it's load near the sanctuary and she tried to run from her bed. Her old legs didn't work well and Jilly fell. The laceration in her thin, greyhound skin needed to be repaired and Jilly needed antibiotics and pain medications to help her heal. Madison Vet Hospital has provided her care for years. Jilly is extremely shy and nervous, known as a true spook in the greyhound world. While she's comfortable with her caretaker, she will not approach strangers and gets very upset with loud noises, thunder and a change in her routine. As she ages, her cognitive abilities have declined and she gets confused easily. We are a registered, nonprofit animal rescue that specializes in providing lifetime care to senior and special needs animals. We rely on donations to pay for medical bills and need to raise funds to help with Jilly's medical needs. Can you help Jilly?
Truman
Truman is a 9 year old Greyhound in Geneva, OH, who needs $45 for Testing for Glaucoma.

With no place else to go and blind from Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), we knew that Truman needed to be in special care asap. Truman also had sky high blood pressure and inherited the genetics for tooth and gum issues common in some greyhound bloodlines. Now controlled with medications, Truman lives with his caretakers and other hounds at the sanctuary and truly loves his life! Although blinded by progressive retinal atrophy in his youth, Truman has developed cataracts and we need to check his intra-ocular pressures to test for glaucoma every 6 months. If his pressures rise, he will need additional medications and may ultimately lose his eyes if glaucoma goes untreated. Regular testing at Madison Veterinary Hospital is a must. Truman is truly a special guy, as sweet as can be, a true Velcro dog and wonderful companion. He's found his place on his caretaker's bed. He’s found his courage to explore, to love and to be loved. Every day brings smiles as Truman adjusts to his handicap and thrives. Most days, his blindness is hardly noticeable and we sometimes forget that he cannot see. He is truly an inspiration to us all. As a nonprofit animal rescue, we provide sanctuary and medical care for special needs animals that are deemed unadoptable and we rely on donations to pay for their vet bills.
