Kiki
Kiki is a 9 year old American Shorthair in Philadelphia, PA, who needs $340 for In-patient Oxygen and Pneumonia Treatment.

I adopted Kiki about 3 years ago from Ruff Start Rescue in Minneapolis. I call her a "COVID kitty" because I (like many others) adopted her during the pandemic. In the midst of extreme isolation she brought joy, connection, love, and LIGHT to my life! She's gone from incredibly shy (not letting anyone pet her, not purring, etc) to a social sweet cat who likes to "sit n be cute" in a crowded room. Kiki had a sudden turn for the worse this week. It began with an urgent care visit for lethargy and loss of appetite, and turned into finding fluid in her lungs, putting her in an oxygen cage, running multiple tests and x-rays, and finally performing an airway wash. At this point, she is diagnosed with infectious pneumonia. She stayed overnight at Penn Vet ER and needs multiple days of treatment. Before I adopted her, Kiki was an abandoned adult cat living on the street. After she was rescued, they had to pull most of her teeth because they were rotted out. I can’t imagine leaving Kiki uncared for or abandoned in her time of need! To me, Kiki means home. I am a graduate student earning about $25,000 this year plus whatever teaching gigs I can get on top of that. My vet bills for Kiki's emergency are projected to be about $6,800. Unfortunately, I don't have vet insurance to help. This campaign is specifically to cover her urgent care visit.
Chloe
Chloe is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Windsor, WI, who needs $200 for Prescription Food, Veterinary Visits/Rechecks.

"I brought Chloe home ~7 years ago from a dairy farm where I worked in college. She was one of the friendliest cats on the farm. With the high mortality rates for the cats there, I focused on TNR for feral adults and rehoming friendly cats, and as many kittens as I could afford to care for. Chloe was ~1 yr old then. Now she is living with me, 5 dogs & 3 other cats, including 1 from the same farm. Chloe began showing signs of urinary issues about 2 months ago. She's been to Underdog Veterinary Services 4 times now, with another visit this week. She's currently on Hill's prescription urinary food, and the vets at UD vet are still determining if she'll need cystotomy surgery. Chloe is an independent lady who loves attention. She’s always up for pets and enjoys riding on my shoulders. She’s a chatty companion, often 'talking' with me. Her favorite spots to relax are the dining table and on top of the chest freezer, perched on my backpack. An unexpected cut in my work hours has made it difficult to cover monthly bills & vet expenses. I’m actively applying for full-time jobs & am determined to provide the best care for Chloe during this rough patch. Your support will help ensure she gets the treatment she needs

I rescued my cat 10 years ago from a shelter. I have had my kitty for ten years. My oldest daughter named her when we first brought her home. The other 2 pets in home our a pomeranian and one other cat. My sweet Emily may have kidney problems related to her age. I need the money to get a urinalysis done. I am the financial provider for myself, husband and 2 kids. My husband has had many health problems last few years that have left him not able to work. He just got out of hospital a week ago. He almost lost his life.The vet facility I am using for Emily is Mountain View Animal Hospital. My kitty is sweet and kind. Any time a new person comes over to visit she gladly goes to sit on their lap. I joke and say she is a lap kitty. She is Queen B of the other 2 pets. She is the boss lol. I am sole-provider of family of four. My husband cannot work due to health issues. I work two jobs and go to school. I would love to have my sweet Emily healthy because she's my 1st fur baby.
Puppy

My daughter found "Puppy" in a dumpster. He was about 5 weeks old and his eyes were sealed shut from infection and he had Pneumonia. I got him and took him to my Vet. My Vet said he didn't think Puppy would survive. I said if I had anything to do with it he would! I soaked his eyes so I could open them to put meds in. I gave him antibiotics every day. He survived, yay! I'm seeking help for diagnostic senior testing for Puppy. This is the recommendation I've received from my Vet at Ogden Animal Hospital in Ogden Utah. I don't know what further treatment Puppy will need. I feel in my heart that something life threatening is going to be the diagnosis. He is spoiled and I take pride in saying, I am the reason why! Please consider helping Puppy get healthy again? Puppy's favorite toy is a stuffed Giraffe. He has had it almost all of his life. He loves it, holds it and kicks his back legs on it fast and hard! After all that he holds and sleeps on it. He won't share it and doesn't like anyone to touch it. He lets me know when it is 6 am and time to get up to feed him his breakfast. Everybody that meets Puppy loves him. He is very friendly. I'm a single disabled senior on a fixed income. I go without many things but I provide a stable loving home for Puppy. I was the victim of a scam, my money was stolen the day after I got paid. It hurts to watch him suffer, my heart is broken for my sweet Puppy!
Callie
Callie is a 4 month old American Shorthair in West Columbia, SC, who needs $500 for Fluids, Anti-Nausea and Barium.

We found out dear little Callie along the road in a ditch a couple months ago. She was barely old enough to drink on her own. The boys and I couldn't leave her there. She and our dog Maggie are inseparable now. Our cat hasn't eaten in 3 days. She's vomiting and has diarrhea. We took her to the vet yesterday and imaging shows classic signs of an obstruction or a twisted bowel. They may need to surgically remove it. The quote is $3500. HOWEVER, we are currently hopeful that with fluids, ant-nausea and barium, she may be able to recover without surgery. The vet has been incredible in helping us with costs. My three boys adore their baby girl and my oldest Micah's birthday is Friday. He is so scared she is going to die on his birthday. I would love to make this a happy birthday for him ❤️ My husband lost his job last year. While he recently found a new job and I work as well, with mortgage payments, vehicle maintenance, food for three growing boys, and catching up from a devastating job loss, our emergency funds are depleted.
Tater

This condition is painful and can lead to permanent eye damage if left untreated. Tater went to a few different veterinarians before a veterinary ophthalmology specialist diagnosed him. "Despite suffering from this condition and being in chronic discomfort, Tater is such a loving and sweet cat," Amanda says. "He is quick to trust and make new friends." The Adopt a Cat Foundation is determined Tater receives the treatment to be the healthiest version of himself. Corrective surgery is expensive, but it is the best option for Tater. Your gift, no matter how small, is crucial to making Tater's surgery possible. Please give to help make his recovery a reality! * Update 8/3/24: * While Tater awaits surgery for his eyes, the vet discovered painful yeast infections in his ears. Due to their crumpled shape, his ears are prone to infection and are very difficult to keep clean. He has to wear a soft e-collar to keep him from rubbing his eyes and ears. He's receiving treatment for his ears and will hopefully start feeling relief soon. * Update 8/20/2024: * Tater had his eye surgery and it went well! The ophthalmologist initially wanted to wait for the ear infection to clear up, but Tater's eyes were getting so bad they could no longer delay. So far his recovery is going well; he's still purring and crawling onto laps for attention despite all he has been through. He is the sweetest boy! We can't wait for Tater to be fully healed and officially start his new life.
Gigi
Gigi is a two-month-old American Polydactyl kitten in Aledo, TX, who needs $1,200 for urgent care.

Saving Hope Animal Rescue first learned about Gigi from a good Samaritan who came to the kitten's rescue. "A woman was in a warehouse and started hearing tiny mews coming from somewhere," Laura G., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. "She tracked them down to a metal trash bin." When the woman looked into the garbage can she couldn't believe her eyes! "A tiny, malnourished kitten was panicking at the bottom of the bin, desperately trying to get out," Laura says. "There was only one other object in the bin, a Styrofoam cup with tiny teeth marks on it from the kitten who was desperately trying to find food since she was starving." The rescuer instantly scooped the kitten up and contacted Saving Hope. Gigi was whisked to an animal hospital where the rescue learned she was skin and bones and had terrible stomach issues. She is severely dehydrated and needs to remain in the hospital for monitoring. "It's unknown how long little Gigi was panicked, alone, and starving in the trash bin," Laura says. "But there is no way a seven-week-old kitten jumped into a three-foot-tall bin alone. Gigi's tragic start to life is heartbreaking, but she has proven resilient, inspiring us all with her strength." And listen to this: That good Samaritan has an encore performance. She will foster Gigi when she is stable enough to leave the animal hospital. What a wonderful gal! Lychee is so young and already burdened with such immense suffering. He was found scared, cowering, with horrific wounds. His leg was so mangled—his body went into severe shock and shut down. ACF Animal Rescue stepped in, knowing this poor soul needed immediate help. The group saves animals like Lychee when no one else will. "He was so scared and traumatized that the veterinarian had to wait for him to calm down before performing emergency surgery. His wound was getting infected, so they could no longer delay." My baby boy Bonbon came into my life 12 years ago when his mama, a stray neighbor cat gave birth to him, I immediately knew he was mine. Since the day I was able to bring him home he and I formed a bond. He has fallen asleep, purring, on my chest every night and put me to sleep. He’s a playful, SWEET and loving little guy that loves being a lap cat and meowing about the house. I took Bonbon to get checked and found that he had masses and diagnosed with lymphoma. My heart sank and I started shaking knowing I may lose my precise baby. He needs several round of chemotherapy. Before this he was in excellent condition his bloodwork even came back perfect! I can’t imagine being without him! Fetch Specialty&Emergancy is treating him and are amazing! Bonbon loves to play catch with these little balls I shoot out of a toy gun. I Call him by his nickname Baby and he comes running to snuggle and depending on the inflection of my voice he knows to come and hunt a bug for me. He is shy but warms up to everyone and immediately wants love. He particularly loves his grandpa and comes running to greet him. He loves being groomed for minutes on end… This unexpected diagnosis has put financial pressure on me so I can get him all the treatment and medicine he needs to heal. The treatments are costly he needs 16 rounds of chemo plus meds he needs so he may go into remission. Having him for a few more years means the world!
