Adeline

** Kanoa Rescue Foundation ** Adeline found herself in a high-kill overcrowded shelter as a 4-week-old baby. She was at risk of euthanasia simply due to space in the shelter. Kanoa Rescue Foundation found out about her situation, and stepped in to rescue her. Shortly after Adeline came into Kanoa Rescue, she had a very scary life-threatening incident. She started to crash, and all the signs seemed to point that she was going to pass. Thankfully, the wonderful Dr. Bays at Animal Wellness Center of OKC squeezed her and saved her. Her little veins were too small for even the smallest needles, so they had to put it in her back leg. After testing, all that showed up was that Adeline was mild anemic and slightly low blood sugar. Neither were severe enough to warrant her health scare. It is completely unknown why this happened. She had been eating normally, drinking, good body temp, all the good things you want to see in a kitten. What is known is that she is fine now and is already able to return home. She will be under heavy monitoring to be on the safe side. Adeline will undergo further testing to make sure she is well and to prevent any further scares. Little Adeline deserves a long happy life. This poor little kitten has now dodged death not just once but twice in just the short 5 weeks she has been alive. Ella
Ella is a one-month-old kitten in Oklahoma City, OK, who needs $1,500 for emergency care.

When the Kanoa Rescue Foundation learned a one-month-old kitten's life was on the line in an animal shelter, they wasted no time saving her. "This poor baby has sustained an injury where she lost most of her leg, and her femur is exposed," Krystal C., with the rescue, tells Waggle. The nonprofit group named her Ella and immediately got her to an animal hospital. Sadly, her leg was so mangled the limb could not be saved. She was rushed into emergency amputation surgery. Ella remains hospitalized and is fighting for her life. She is dehydrated, has low blood sugar, and needs to stay in the ER for constant care. "Despite all of her trauma and the extraordinary amount of pain she was in, Ella is a sweet and loving kitten," Krystal says. "She loves receiving attention and is even purring!" Ella has a long journey ahead and will need continued care while she gains strength. However, the outlook for her to have a happy and healthy life is positive. A friend talked me into getting another fur baby after I had to let my other one go. I really didn't want another fur baby as it takes a separate bank account just for vet visits and shots etc. But we became attached to the hip after the first month. The previous owner told me he was thrown out out of a car when he was just a wee bit of a kitten and they found him and nursed him back to health. Rusty has some issues with his eyes that stems way back to when he was a kitten. He is now not eating or drinking and his bathroom habits are changing. He started to eat and drink less and less prior to seeing the vet on the 2nd but I just thought he was not feeling well from his eyes. He's in need of a vet to see why he's not eating or drinking and getting lethargic. He's my baby boy. We are so attached to each other it hurts to have to let go of him if I have to. He has his favorite soccer ball and he won't even play. I know my bud buds behavior and this is not like him at all. I'm on a Fixed Income and just to know what is causing the issues would mean the world to me. I don't want to lose him if it's something that can be fixed or cured. Its not fair to him to have him euthanized because I can't afford the vet bill.

Pooch Savers Rescue Meet Monty, a little puppy who has already faced more hardships than most dogs will ever know. He was kept in abominable conditions before being dumped. We know this because the deformity on one paw is consistent with how paws grow when dogs are kept in crates way too small for extended periods of time. The other leg deformity is most likely a birth defect. He was found roaming, scared and alone on the streets after being dumped in Texas. He was covered in fleas, severely matted, and underweight - so much so that his bones are showing. He was dehydrated and anemic. Unfortunately, Monty needs to have one of his front legs amputated. Ever since he entered his foster home, he has been like a shadow. He is so submissive, as soon as you reach down to touch him, he cowers and rolls over, knowing he can't defend himself. He's likely used to showing submission in order to not get punished or abused. He tinkles a little bit too, likely out of fear - touch and interaction with humans has obviously taught him we are not safe, but even with this, he is the sweetest, most loving dog. He looks into your soul with the kindest, soul-piercing eyes, eyes that say thank you! Monty, like all dogs, deserves a chance at health and happiness. Stitch came to me with a sister as stray kittens abandoned by their mother unfortunately his sister got sick and passed away and we believe he may have the same sickness. Due to my financial situation i cannot afford medications or a proper vet exam for him. He is about 2-3 months old and weighs 1.7 lbs hes become a support animal for me he knows how I’m feeling and tries to help and succeeds I took stitch to Walker Veterinary hospital when his behavior became concerning he Isn’t able to keep any food down although could tolerate water yesterday he now needs to be given water by syringe. He requires antibotics, nausea medication so he can keep food down, de worming and iv or sub q fluids he’s extremely dehydrated now it was a very sudden onset and im extremely worried about him. He loves to play with me or my bf. He’s super vocal and communicative. He always follows me to the bathroom. He curls up into my neck to cuddle or my tummy to be close to the baby. He loves to be a parrot kitty and sit on my shoulder then gets zoomies a lot and is very afectionate when im depressed or down he always wants us to hold him and be close to us. Ive never met a cat with such personality We are struggling financially due to the fact that i am pregnant and we are being evicted then our truck broke down all our money has been used to try and keep us afloat while my bf looks for more work and its a very stressful time and stitch is our main focus right now

I got two male kittens 7 years ago. We first got them I was able to purchase insurance because they had digestive issues of being constipated. They both grew out of that. I worked from home so needless to say they both are my emotional support. I have had 10 surgeries to my face. I could no longer work I've been put on disability. My husband and I don't have the money for x-ray and what ever else I need to find out the problem with an X-ray and then any kind of treatment needed. This is my kid please find it in your heart to help. please and thank you My kitty weighs 15 lbs he's such a gorgeous loving cat. He loves belly rubs and loves to play with little puff balls when you throw them. If I sneeze he comes up and put his teeth on me never to bite it's funny thing to see. He is some what of a scarredy cat. He's always been a little skiddish. I love this cat with everything I have. A Good Samaritan wanted to adopt Willie when he first arrived at a shelter. After careful consideration, the Good Samaritan felt that Willie would not be able to get around well in her house and yard and the shelter contacted us to see if we could take him into our Sanctuary, knowing that we have special accommodations for impaired hounds. We jumped at the chance to welcome this boy. A weathered and wise, bow-legged cowboy, Willie is an old man with severe, disfiguring arthritis with bumps and lumps and irritated skin. Willie loves his chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, and back massages. His heart is enlarged due to his old age, and his teeth are not in the best of shape and he needs a dental to extract the bad ones now. Madison Vet Hospital oversees Willie's care. Willie may be old and disfigured, but his body doesn’t get him down and he’s sweet, funny and such a joy to care for. He has made several hound friends that also travel with him for traditional and holistic veterinary care. He loves people and loves to eat! Willie has touched many hearts and continues to exude his enthusiasm for life to all his meets. As a nonprofit animal rescue, we provide sanctuary and medical care for special needs animals that have ongoing medical needs and we rely on donations to pay for their vet bills. I took him in from a lady who found him in an abandoned car, she knew he had a hernia on his stomach and still gave him to me, i have noticed his stool color changes often as well, im hoping to get a small amount of funding to get my buddy the right help he needs, he has a whole room to be himself and the rest of the apartment when the other cat is put up, they both often play however. His vivid lump on the stomach along with his stool never being consistent, im not sure if any are life threatening but i am not trying to wait and find out. Bur is very vocal, he loves to showing affection through meowing as well as when he wants to eat or is mad! He loves to sleep on my pillow when i sleep as well other than that he is a shy rescue. I have a underpaid job in which i can only afford rent and other basic needs such as cat food and litter for the cats and minor needs for myself as well.
