Layne
Layne is a 6 year old Doberman Pinscher in Lubbock, TX, who needs $2,000 for TPLO.
Lubbock, TX
This is Layne, she’s my 6 year old Doberman that I rescued when she was 12 weeks old. She was brought into the vet clinic I go to, clinging for life. Due to her having parvo she was deemed a “reject” by her original owners. They chose for euthanasia, I chose to save her life! I pulled her through parvo and have given her the life she truly deserved from the beginning. Layne recently suffered a hind left cruciate rupture. She is currently unable to walk on that limb and is getting around like a newborn giraffe. After pulling her through Parvo early on she has been a very healthy, active, velcro baby. This injury has been a major set back but Animal Medical Center is capable of giving her another chance with a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy(TPLO). Layne has been my best friend since 2020. She saw me through Covid times, has ran along side me for many miles, loved me through a devastating divorce, and helped me protect my son since he was born. Layne has truly been one of the most loving, protective, and quirky little ones I’ve ever had. I’m a single mother to an 11 month old child and have 7 other fur babies to care for. I was not prepared for this medical emergency. If I could just get help with half of the required amount, I would be beyond appreciative! I just want Layne to be able to run/play again!

Bubba
Bubba is a 4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Lubbock, TX, who needs $5,300 for TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy).
Lubbock, TX
His name is Bubba, and he is the kind of dog that makes you believe everything is going to be okay just by walking into the room. He is four years old, a Pit Bull Mix with a tan and white coat and a personality bigger than he knows what to do with. He loves every person he meets, he never leaves my side, and he has been one of the greatest sources of joy and comfort in my life. Bubba, a 4-year-old Pit Bull Mix, was diagnosed with complete cruciate ruptures in both rear legs and bilateral hip osteoarthritis on April 20, 2026, by Dr. Schwarz at the Animal Medical Center of Lubbock, TX. He is dragging his rear leg and can barely walk. TPLO surgery is required immediately. Bubba is the kind of dog who makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk through the door. He is gentle, loving, and completely devoted to our family. Despite being a large dog, he has always been soft and calm around people, which is a testament to his sweet nature. He follows me from room to room, stays close when he senses I am stressed, and has a way of making hard days feel easier. I am a single mother doing gig work while searching for full-time employment after finishing my degree. I was denied financing and cannot afford the $5,300 surgery alone. Getting Bubba healthy again means everything. It means he gets his life back, and so do we.
