Midnight
Midnight is a 8 Month Old Mix-Breed in Brooklyn, NY, Who Needs $5,200 for Amputation Surgery.
Brooklyn, NY
I found Midnight in the back alleyway of my building huddled by the cold concrete wall two days ago. I fed her and left. When I returned she ate but hadnt moved so I checked to see if anything was wrong. Her back leg below the knee was uncut but hanging, completely useless, she couldnt walk let alone survive as an outdoor cat. I tried reaching out to several animal organizations but none were willing to help. They all suggested I take her to Animal Care Control which I know is very quick to euthanize injured pets and I just couldn't take that chance. I took her to the ER where she was diagnosed with a fracture on her Tibia and fibula. Unfortunately this requires immediate amputation of her leg. Midnite is young and extremely social. She should be just as agile with an amputated leg as a four legged cat once recovered. This cat deserves a chance, she's had a rough start but she was so sweet. She was dragging herself in spite of repeatedly falling when getting up, to nuzzle on my lap. It was so cute, I couldn't just let her die from the pain and cold she was in. The estimated bill is for $5200. This will cover the cost of surgery and getting fixed. Blue Pearl, the ER that is currently holding her through the weekend have been very generous with discounting as much as they could. Any sized donation helps.

Amadeus
Amadeus is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Brooklyn, NY, who needs $400 for Diagnostics and Treatment for Possible Obstruction.
Brooklyn, NY
My cat Amadeus is a 1½-year-old domestic shorthair I adopted from a coworker when she was just two months old. She lives indoors with me in Brooklyn, NY. She’s curious, affectionate, and has a playful personality. She shares the home with my family and has her own cozy space in my room. Amadeus recently began vomiting and stopped eating or drinking. The vet suspects a possible obstruction from ingesting a small piece of plastic. She was evaluated at BluePearl Veterinary Hospital, where they recommended diagnostic tests and monitoring. She needs further treatment to recover. Amadeus is my constant companion—sweet, smart, and full of personality. She greets me at the door, chirps when she wants attention, and curls up next to me at night. She brings warmth and joy to everyone at home, even winning over my mom, who’s allergic to cats! I’m doing my best to cover bills on a modest salary while supporting my household. The cost of emergency vet care is overwhelming, but Amadeus means the world to me. Any help ensures she gets the treatment she needs to be healthy and playful again, bringing peace back to our

Dolly
Dolly is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Brooklyn, NY, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Place a Feeding Tube for Pancreatitis.
Brooklyn, NY
Dolly was rescued from a cat mill in LA that was trying to breed Siamese-appearing cats. They tossed her into the street where she lived under a dumpster drinking dirty water, contracted parasites, and became pregnant. I adopted her from the amazing Tails Up Kitty Rescue Ranch and nursed her back to health. We moved from California to New York and she lives with me and my fiancé Nick in Brooklyn. Dolly became sick quickly and was hospitalized at Blue Pearl Pet Hospital for an acute flare-up of pancreatitis. She is stable, but still has a fever and an elevated white blood cell count. Because she is sick and in pain, she won't eat by mouth, so she had a feeding tube placed to provide nutrition. She will likely need surgery to place an outpatient tube so she can get food and meds at home. Dolly is an incredibly sweet, smart, spunky, playful, cuddly cat. She lives for playing and can jump incredible heights, do flips in the air, roll over, and even play fetch! She is my certified support animal and loves constant physical contact. She is a social butterfly and follows us all around the house. She adores full-on belly rubs and will often roll over for a good scratching session. We are living off a single limited income and have drained $13,000 of savings to cover Dolly's sudden hospitalization and treatments so far. She has an excellent prognosis if she can get the rest of the treatments she needs, but we need assistance covering the ongoing costs.
