Salvador Doggie
Salvador Doggie is a 7 year old Labrador Retriever in Everett, WA, who needs $3,200 for TPLO Surgery.
Everett, WA
Salvador was a rescue puppy coming from Texas. Being abandoned in a dump with his brothers must have been a wonderful life to a puppy, but we thought it better to live in a home. He has been with us since just before he was 1 years old and is now such a big part of our lives that we can't imagine him suffering through an injury. Salvador loves to play fetch and when he was younger he discovered he could jump up and down from our raised garden in the backyard. I didn't think anything of this as he had so much fun doing it. But this last time around, something landed wrong and you could see the change in him. He has not been able to fully run since then and when he tries you can see the sadness Salvador is special because he is such a lovely mix of breeds that make him love everyone and everyone love him. He is sweet and cuddly, but also a crazy dog that loves to run around and be chased, or chase a ball, or just running around for the sake of running. He makes people smile, he warms hearts, and he spreads the feeling of being a mischievous child to you when he gets in that play stance This is hard, I always want people to think I'm out crushing it as a freelancer. But, this year brought on significant hardships. I am struggling to make ends meet even for just food for myself. This cost for the surgery will break me, and not getting it is not an option.

Ravioli
Ravioli is a 9 year old American Shorthair in Lynnwood, WA, who needs $3,500 for Emergency Care for Possible Intestinal Blockage.
Lynnwood, WA
Hello, my name is Ayanna, and I’m reaching out with a very heavy heart on behalf of my cat, Ravioli. Ravioli came into my life during one of the hardest periods I’ve ever been through. My mom brought her home for me when I was struggling deeply, and from the moment she arrived, she became my comfort. She wasn’t just a pet. She was something steady to hold onto when everything else felt uncertain. She slept beside me, followed me from room to room, and somehow always knew when I needed her most. She also has a sister, Tissue, and the two of them have grown up together. They play, nap, and curl up side by side every day. Watching them together has always been a source of warmth and grounding for me, especially during difficult times. Seeing Ravioli unwell has been heartbreaking, not only for me but for her sister too, who keeps looking for her and waiting nearby. Recently, Ravioli got into my sewing supplies and swallowed a piece of string. Since then, she has stopped eating and using the litter box. After speaking with a veterinarian, we were told this could be extremely serious and potentially life threatening if not treated quickly. She needs to be seen for imaging and possible medical intervention to make sure the string has not caused a blockage. I am currently in college, and between school expenses and helping support my family, finances are already very tight. It is just my mom, my brother, and me, and the cost of emergency veterinary care is more than we can manage on our own. Ravioli has been a constant source of comfort for me through school and some of the hardest moments of my life, and the thought of losing her because we could not afford care is devastating. Ravioli is gentle, loving, and deeply cherished. She has been there for me when I needed her most, and I cannot imagine giving up without doing everything possible to help her. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this, truly means more than I can express. All funds raised will go directly toward her veterinary care, including diagnostics, treatment, and any necessary procedures. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story and for helping us give Ravioli a chance to heal. Ayanna and Ravioli

Mimi
Mimi is a 1.5 year old British Shorthair in Seattle, WA, who needs $2,000 for Hepatic Lipidosis Treatment/Feeding Tube.
Seattle, WA
I love animals so I've always done petsitting as a side job. Mimi's original owners had hired me to care for her the majority of last summer. I always thought she was so adorable and loving, I wish I owned her. Her owners let me know, given the amount they travel, they were giving her up. I swept in to get her. I currently live in an apartment but am about to (hopefully) get a house. We believe that Mimi is suffering from hepatic lipodosis. She is currently being treated at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Kirkland. She is suffering from a lack of appetite (currently has a nasal-esophageal feeding tube), jaundice, nausea, and general lethargy. She had low platelet counts and has a high and abnormal levels of bilirubin. She is definitely a little talker and loves to be the center of attention. Very cuddly, calm, and super affectionate. Even when I visit her in the ER, she tries to make her way over to me and it breaks my heart seeing her wobble and unable to move much. She is so easy going, even in the state she's in. I want to be able to move into our new home together. I lived with a partner who threw away all of my belongings, toxic. He had Mimi starved. I left the house on my birthday with very little. Mimi is one of the only things I have left. It means the world to me to be able to move on with my life and triumph from all our trauma.

Onyx
Onyx is a 1 year old Chow Chow in Granite Falls, WA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery Repair on Back Right Leg.
Granite Falls, WA
I turned 30 years of age and for the fist time in my life I was able to own a pet of my own. I have a big family and all pets are apart of the family. Onyx was my very first pet that I was able to adopt and introduce to the family as my best friend. Onyx is a one year old very healthy Chow Chow. On a terrible night a great unfortunate event took place and Onyx ran away from home and was hit by a vehicle. The driver left Onyx and didn't stop. My family and I went to look for him and out of all of us searching my sister found him laying wounded under a tree on the side of the road next to our city's middle school. Onyx is special because even though he is super tough and strong, he has a big heart and a soft touch to all the are brave enough to pet him. He is a protector of the family and will always be there when you need him most. He tries to help in numerous ways even though he is just a dog. He listens and understands what's going on around him, probably why he's such a good companion and guardian. Before adopting Onyx I suffered years of hardship fighting for my freedom, family, and career. I had to restart my life at 30 years of age and Onyx was apart of that first step to a new chapter. Our love for Onyx is worth more than money or any possession. I love my dog.

Amaya (Night rain)
Amaya (Night rain) is a 1.5-year-old Cane Corso in Renton , WA, who needs $1,900 for TPLO.
Renton, WA
Amaya is very special. She was born October 2018 and have had her since she was 8 weeks. Amaya is jet black and her name means Night rain. Super healthy, perfect hips, strong with a big appetite. We had to wait for a year to get her. She always gets her vaccines and boosters and is very well taken care of! Amaya loves everyone and everyone loves her. She is so sweet and is very submissive. Gets along with all dogs and even cats. Amaya is an inside dog she likes to chill and watch TV but can also be very adventurous and outgoing. I don’t think she knows how big she is and doesn’t quiet understand gravity. She’s a big softy and protective she’s, everything you could ask for in a good dog. This dog has a sense of humor, she’s just always funny. She does this thing where she will use her paws and it’s funny because she gets frustrated and ends up slapping whatever it is. She also gets sad and tucks her lip in, we hate to laugh but you’d have to see it first. She army crawls towards treats and knows a wide range of tricks. We just love her. With her breed hip dysplasia is a common problem. She’s a 113 pounds as of today but she’s been in complete health her entire life, never needed anything ever! We have always bought her vaccines and given it to her ourselves of course keeping her record updated. She sees a vet at the critter doctor in Kirkland for rabies and other boosters. Now she has a torn ALS tare and needs surgery. SOS $5000. She’s in a lot of pain, it was agony facing the doctor telling them that we have to think about surgery.. knowing that we can’t afford it. To get her better is all I’m living for now. My job doesn’t pay me well enough to come up with 5000 up front.

Brody
Brody is a six-year-old mixed breed dog in Mill Creek, WA, who needs $2,000 for emergency surgery to repair a ruptured disc.
Mill Creek, WA
Christopher R. is shocked, heartbroken, and needs your help. His beloved dog, Brody, suddenly started having difficulties walking a couple of days ago. "Brody began to lose his ability to walk with his hind legs," Christopher tells Waggle. "As of yesterday, he lost the ability to use them at all. I took him to an emergency vet, BluePearl. They quickly diagnosed him with a ruptured disc in his spine. He's on the verge of being paralyzed, leaving me with the tough choice of euthanasia. But he's only six years old. He's got a lot of life and love left to give." Christopher frantically started asking about medical options to treat Brody. Surgery is a promising option, but it costs thousands of dollars that Christopher doesn't have. "Brody came into my life when I needed him most," Christopher says. "I was struggling with mental health issues, feeling hopeless and unsure of my life. He's been by my side since the day I brought him home. He's my everything. He's a loving fella, always down for a good belly rub or an ear scratch. He's good at giving hugs and loves everybody, little or small." Christopher is panicking and trying to raise the money so Brody can have the operation. He's hoping you see Brody's sweet face and find it in your heart to give to his campaign. "I just need help. I love him, and he's my good boy! I couldn't imagine life without him. He brings a smile to everyone's face who meets him! Every little bit counts, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all."

Sugar
Sugar is a six-year-old Boxer in North Bend, WA, who needs $2,000 for an MRI.
North Bend, WA
*You can donate to Sugar AND join our monthly giving FurEver Fund to help more pets just like her. For GivingTuesday, we’ll DOUBLE your donation! Click the blue donate button and choose the Monthly Donation option. <a href="https://www.waggle.org/sponsor-page/c95577e923be9ae5cdacd791" target="_blank">Take a look here</a> to see all the pets @dogsofinstagram helped get medical treatment!* For more than a year, Sugar has been battling inflammation in her spine. It's a condition called Spondylitis. Her human dad, Chris B., tells Waggle that it's been manageable, but recently Sugar has been in horrible pain. "Something has happened. Now she can barely walk and screams at the touch of her spine," Chris says. So far, Chris has spent nearly $10,000 on care, X-rays, and tests for Sugar, yet the cause of her suffering is still a medical mystery. Now Sugar needs to see a neurologist and have an MRI scan to help zero in on a diagnosis. Though Chris has a job, he's drained his bank account paying for her care. He had been saving for a new apartment but spent all the money on Sugar's veterinary bills. The pair are staying with a family member, and Chris sleeps on a couch. "I have exhausted everything I have. I cannot put her down for lack of funds. I am doing everything I can for help," Chris says. Chris says he suffers from depression, and Sugar has learned to pull him out of dark times. He credits her for saving his life, and now he wants to do the same for her. "When my eyes water, her eyes water. She knows I'm in that bad state. She puts her head on my lap, and she will stay there as long as I stay there. I need her." The additional tests Sugar at BluePearl Pet Hospital will hopefully give Chris answers. Sugar may need different pain medication, physical therapy, or possibly surgery. Chris wants anyone who gives to Sugar's campaign to know they will make their holidays a much brighter time. "I am indebted to anyone who donates," Chris says. "I'm super appreciative. I love this dog."

Nala
Nala is a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever in Snohomish, WA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery, Enterotomy single.
Snohomish, WA
Our sweet chocolate Lab, Nala, came to us in March 2020. Perfect time to train a puppy with everything shut down due to Covid. She is the sweetest pup ever and she has a 3 year old black lab brother, Gunnar, who adores her. Nala lives in a single family home with myself, my husband and 15 year old daughter. She has an entire acre to run around on. A lab’s dream!! Nala is part of our family. We are a family who allows the dogs on the furniture and lets them sleep with us. Nala is my shadow when I am home. We had a routine every morning when I got up, she got up with me, went into the bathroom while I got ready. We went downstairs while I had my coffee and she waited patiently to lick my empty cup after I finished it. I hope she’ll be back to doing that. Our total bill was $8,666.60. We were able to get care credit for $3,000, we put $2,500 down and the rest we owe is $3196.06. Nala will have to be on seizure medications for a minimum of 6 months, maybe for life. With all the follow up appts. & labs, the cost will soar. Nala chewed up a toy & swallowed a squeaker from the toy. She was vomiting & just felt unwell. I could not get her in to see anyone close by, including her regular vet. I finally got her into Seattle Veterinarian Specialists who performed surgery. After surgery, Nala started having seizures. Dr. Waldrop was one of the treating doctors, as Nala’s condition required her to be in the ICU. Nala fits her name very well. Ever since she was a little puppy, she would hide behind a log in our backyard and jump out and pounce on her brother, Gunnar, just like the lioness from Lion King. Nala also loves to play ball. She’ll play ALL day long if you kept throwing the ball for her. She is unique in that she has a strip on hair on her nose that grows the opposite direction. One of a kind.

Figaro
Figaro is a 2-year-old Tabby in Issaquah, WA, who needs $1,000 for Obstruction removal.
Issaquah, WA
I took my 3 year old daughter to the pet store 2 years ago to see if they had any kittens for adoption. Then we saw Figaro. He was rescued at 2 months from living on the streets in his own. He was so shy when we met him. The moment we pet him we fell in love and just knew he was going to be apart of our family. He is the fur brother of our 3 daughters. He is so loving and is so patient with them. Our oldest daughter deals with anxiety and he helps her cope when she is having issues. He plays a race game that my middle daughter made up to play with him. He LOVES eating, reminds us of Garfield. He is a huge part of our family. Due to Covid I have been out a job for months now. We have 3 daughters including a newborn. It would mean the world to us and our daughters if we could have some assistance in paying for the surgery to bring their brother home. We have baby bottles put away in an enclosed dryer. Figaro got into it and ate a bunch of hard pieces of the bottles and nipples He has been throwing up for 2 days. He is in surgery now to remove the object. He is at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners in Seattle WA. His Vet is Megan E. Davis Figaro is one lazy guy who is food OBSESSED. he has one Toy that we named CheChe that is his favorite. He used to play fetch with him when he was a kitten. Now as an adult he just throws him around the house and plays fetch himself. When I was pregnant he played on my belly and cuddled with the baby.

Oliver
Oliver is a 6-year-old Domestic Short Hair in Kirkland, WA, who needs $2,000 for a Craniotomy for a Brain Tumor.
KIRKLAND, WA
Oliver and I met six years ago as I looked at shelter kittens, determined I wasn't adopting anyone that day. I returned for him the next morning! 🤣 He's so full of love, and is the sweetest, silliest kitty I know. He coos! That's how he and my cat Harrison became friends. Oliver cooed through a closed door, and Harrison cooed back. Then they both started cooing at me! Harrison is Oliver's special friend. Ollie follows Harrison around, tail up straight in the air. Though, Oliver herds H into the bathroom when it's time for H's medicines. That's because they BOTH get treats afterwards! Oliver comes to me whenever I call. Lately, he sits quietly with me while I'm meditating -- close to me, but far enough away that I can't pet him. "Stop it, Mom! We're meditating!" At $7,500-9,000, the surgery is super expensive. I've already paid for an MRI (hence the shaved area on his side), other tests and specialist appointments. I'll do what's needed to help Ollie but I've been out of work due to my medical issues for almost 4 years so it's hard. A few weeks ago, Oliver had an episode that looked like a stroke. His pupils became different sizes, he walked aimless circles, etc. I took him to neurologist Dr. Bibi at BluePearl in Kirkland, WA, who found a meningioma brain tumor. She believes a craniotomy can remove it and return his quality of life. Without surgery, even with meds, he'll progressively worsen and die in "weeks to months". 😥 Oliver has his own unique style. When hungry, he licks his lips. If I ask him if he's done eating, he spins around to say he's finished. When he walks upstairs, he zig-zags. Ollie also has an amazing internal clock. If he wakes me up too early, I tell him how many minutes to wait and that's how long he waits before reaching up from the floor to tap my shoulder again. For real!

Liam
Liam is a 1-year-old Italian greyhound in renton, WA, who needs $2,000 for MRI.
renton, WA
My pup is a bit over a year. I didn't know he was deaf when I bought him. Together we are learning about the silent world he lives in, and so far its actually not to different. The main thing is that I'm not sure how if it's even possible. to teach him a sign for his name? He knows signs for commands like: come, sit, wave, spin, swirl, hungry, no, get down, go here, smell, go find, wait, quiet, Its just me and Liam 24/7. he comes everywhere with me! he sleeps with me, and even though he cant hear, we communicate. He Looks to me for longer and more meaningfully than any dog ive shared my life with. he is my emotional support, and my motivator. he helped me widen my social circle, we are involved in dog sports, and EVERYONE he meets falls instantly in love with him. I lost my work and applied and was approved for unemployment in March. I have yet to get ANY money from the state. Additionally, the unemployment now says, cause their systems jacked up, that I owe $2,000 which I don't. I'm looking to get MRI to know if there is something structurally wrong that if so him being so young, is treatable with a very high success rate, or if this is do do with his deafness and we can safely do activities being extra careful, and not worry that just walking will paralyze him. he has a (in non covid times) weekly meetup with many other italian greyhounds, we do barn hunt, lure, and flyball. we were starting agility when his symptoms started. He knows tricks like wave, howl, bark. which baffles me when he cant hear. being a sighthound helps, as its his nature to "watch" and he does!

Zoe Khan
Zoe Khan is a 12-year-old Labrador Retriever in Fife, WA, who needs $4,000 for Laryngeal Tie back .
Fife, WA
Zoe is my beautiful Labrador Retriever. We live in Washington state with two other of her siblings. Zoe is the eldest of them all and is my all. We moved to Washington from Texas for cooler weather and and a new beginning. I believe she is enjoying the weather. We can’t go on long walks due to her mobility concerns but I take her in the car for her long car rides. Zoe is so full of love. My goodness, she has such a calm temperament. She loves to be pet, she loves her belly to be pet. Her eyes truly talk and I’ve learned so much from here. As she is getting older, she’s not as mobile so I help her get up and get in the car for their car rides. Look at Zoe once and you’ll see the love in her eyes for you. My job doesn’t pay enough for me to afford such an expensive surgery. I am working as much over time as possible and saving every penny I get, but I fall short due. For Zoe not to gasp for air and not be sedated will mean more than anything I will ever want and need. Zoe was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. I have to keep her calm and sedated, especially during the evening hours where she gets anxious and starts her gasping which breaks my heart. I hear it during the late hours of the night and immediately get up from bed and sleep right next to her so she gets calm again. Her hind legs are losing muscle which makes her mobility difficult at times. Zoe is special in so many ways. The look on her face, with her eyes talking to you, when you bring her food, her mouth starts salivating all the time which is so cute. She loves sticks and will take them from you. She loves water and where there’s a pool, she will jump in and stay in. I remember a time where my friend brought an outdoor pool for his dog and Zoe, she stayed in it for hours.

Scarlett
Scarlett is a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat in Tampa, FL, who needs $2,141 for treatment for an intestinal obstruction.
Tampa, FL
I adopted Scarlett as a kitten (around 3 months old) in March 2019. Since the day I brought her home, she has been nothing but upbeat and adventurous. She always has a ton of energy and is the doggiest cat I have ever seen. She fetches strings and brings them back when you throw them, which is something I have never seen a cat do. She carries toys around in her mouth and lays them at people's feet or at food dishes. She always greets you at the door with a raised tail and face nudges. She is the sweetest, most lovable cat I've had. She always brightens my day with her energy and is always ready to play. She wants to be wherever you are and will follow you from room to room. She loves being with her family which warms my heart.

Nami
Nami is a 2-year-old Domestic Longhair in Seattle, WA, who needs $2,000 for hospitalization to remove urinary blockage.
Seattle, WA
I adopted my cat, Nami, when I first moved to another state far from my family or anyone I knew. He had a traumatic time as a young cat and thus had his growth stunted and was a very anxious cat when I got him at 11 months old. I slept on the floor next to him for a week when I first adopted him to make him comfortable, and he’s been my best friend ever since! He now has a sister whom he loves dearly, and he can’t sleep unless he’s snuggling one of us.
