Brownie

Brownie is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Cape Girardeau, MO, who needs $200 for Heartworm Test and Treatment Estimate.

Cape Girardeau, MO

I rescued Brownie from a house that actually had a free range pig and multiple other dogs and puppies in kennels and fecal matter all over the house. I went by there to see a friend and when I went to leave, Brownie, 3 months old, followed me and wouldn't let me leave without her. I was living in my little Ford Ranger at the time and couldn't afford to take her, but I did anyway. Best decision yet Brownie has survived parvo as a puppy. Brownie was spaded right after she had her first and only liter of puppies. Then she was hit by a car a week after that but she made it through that only to now have heartworms. We live with my step dad now in Cape Girardeau Mo and her vet is Small Animal Clinic in Cape Girardeau. Brownie is special. She never tore out trash or done the puppy things that I was expecting in raising her. She has always been such a good girl. She is why im still alive on this earth. She has brought me back to life after so much bad stuff I lived through and she deserves to be cured. Imagine your child unable to go outside and play with their siblings or parents because any movement is potentially fatal. That is the constant worry and kind of life this baby has to live. She wants to play but it's dangerous for her. This help would change both our lives

Brownie

Brownie is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Cape Girardeau, MO, who needs $1,700 for Heartworm Treatment.

Cape Girardeau, MO

I rescued Brownie from a house that had a free range pig and she actually snorts like a pig sometimes. There was also multiple other dogs running around and in kennels and fecal matter everywhere. When I went to leave she followed me and had never met me before but she wasn't going to let me leave without her. I think she knew her life was in danger there. So, living in my truck I took her with me Brownie has survived so many obstacles in her few years here. She's still fighting every day to be herself. She needs this heartworm cure so she can play again. She is currently on activity restrictions. That means go out to potty then right back inside to bed. All she can do is be bedridden basically and that's no life for anyone.... Let's help Brownie get better and show her how to play again. Everyone loves Brownie and she loves everyone she meets. She has saved my life for sure. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for her. She's my best friend and I don't know what I would do without her. To watch her be miserable and not be able to do anything about it is the hardest thing ever. Its like watching your child when they have the flu, helpless. Trying anything to help them feel better. Thx I am currently a full time student at AIU and seeking employment, which is why I cannot afford the treatment for Brownie. I get little jobs every now and then but it's not enough.

A gift for my family after my father passed. Funeral was day before baby Eli (named after dad) was born. He is with my disabled mom during the day and my sister and I are there full time when not at work. Today Eli has to have surgery on his leg. He is expected to make full recovery. The first emergency vet was $400 to save his life. We didn’t have it but was giving the money from the lady that gave us Eli..now he was transported to Cape small animal clinic in Cape Girardeau. his surgery is scheduled today after she again gave us 800 more so they would proceed. Our balance is 1200 at pickup He loves water but not a bath. He is so loving and affectionate. He has really helped hold the pieces of my family together. My 3 children are there on weekends and met Eli when he was 3 weeks old and we were able to start getting to know him After the passing of my dad 6 months ago.We are trying to take care of mom and Eli was struck by a car. He is our world and best friend. He is always with us and has been such a blessing to our hearts

Grace

Grace is a 7 month old Labrador Retriever in East Prairie, MO, who needs $1,800 for Repair of Complete Breaks in Left Radius and Ulna.

East Prairie, MO

Gray Gray Girl. Gracie Mae. Graysa. Gi Gi. Grace. We call her all sorts of names but she’s our Grace! Our “saving grace” if you will! Grace is our sweet 7 month old black lab. She loves to run, play in the water, fetch, and most importantly play with her two older human siblings. Mom jokes that Grace is her “favorite child”. Where ever Mom and siblings are, Grace is sure to be there too!<3 Grace loves to be outside and especially loves playing with her human siblings. This week we were outside, she attempted to jump a fence to get to the kids and her front left leg was trapped. She was seen urgently today at Bootheel Animal Clinic in Sikeston, Missouri. Both of the large bones in her leg are broken completely and she requires surgery that is presently unaffordable for our family. It brings tears to my eyes thinking of how sweet and gentle our Grace is. Even with a severe injury she has only shown us the most amount of love. She was the missing piece of our family. She loves to be wherever we are: the ball field, the fair, the park, any car ride, any pet friendly stores. She never wants to miss a trip, and honestly, we don’t want her to miss any trips either! We adore her!! This is definitely a sudden, unexpected emergency. She has to have the surgery to ease her pain, give her a chance to regain her mobility, and return to the upbeat pup that she has always been. She means the world to our family and we know there has to be a way to help her.

Ryder

Ryder is a 6 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Perryville, MO, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Perryville, MO

He was found on Facebook about 6 years ago he was the smallest puppy and I knew the stigma behind Pits so i had to have him to give him better. He is the youngest of the 4 animals I have and is the 2nd one to need a hip surgery. He currently struggles getting comfortable in any position, going up/down stairs, getting in vehicles, and he is currently medicated daily for pain. Ryder starting limping in late March we took him to our local vet they then referred us to Cape Small Animal Clinic for imagining and they informed us that he would need 4 surgeries. He would need 2 back knee and 2 back hip surgeries. They gave us an estimate and we immediatley knew we would need help. He is a special boy because he just has so much personality. He loves the snow, sunbathing, car rides especially the wind, and he thinks he's a pro football player. He loves his grandma when i say grandma he gets SO EXCITED tail wags and smiles. He doesnt like staring contests he will get very talkative with you (its really funny). Everybody loves him honestly he gets alot of attention and love I live with 2 disabled family members on a fixed income and recently I've been inbetween jobs as i recently graduated highschool and Im trying to get full time. My Ryder is the light of our home and it would men more than alot to be able to receive help in paying his bills.
