Austin, TX
Hello all! I'm not good at asking for help but those of you who know me, know Ducky. I would do anything for him. He's been my ever present sidekick for 11 years and now he needs your help. I need your help. I know he isn't ready to go and I honestly don't know how to cope with letting him down now. He has been there for me through a lot of really difficult stuff and he's done it with such love... Ducky is in congestive heart failure but can be saved if the vets can pull him out of it...and they think they can. He could live more years happily and on medication if we can pull him out. Please. Please if you can spare even $1, I will do the same for you should you ask. We are at Central Texas Veterinary Hospital trying to come up with the deposit for treatment..we have to pay it now bsically Ducky is the silliest, funniest most loving boy in the world. He brightens every moment of my life with his attentive and caring spirit. He's super playful and young spirited...he's down for anything anytime. I would not have made it had I not had him with me. Brisket
Brisket is a 5 month old Mix-Breed in Austin, TX, who needs $2,000 for Ulnar Osteotomy.
Austin, TX
Brisket, our 5-month-old Labrador Retriever, started as a foster dog but stole our hearts in just three days. We've had him for three months now. When adopting, we knew about his leg injury but didn't realize the extent of his medical needs. Despite his condition, Brisket is a loving, energetic puppy who has brought immense joy to our lives in this short time. Brisket, our 5-month-old Labrador Retriever, has a complex left forelimb issue stemming from a previous humerus fracture. He now has a shortened limb and angular deformity due to premature closure of the ulnar growth plate. Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital recommends an ulnar ostectomy now, with possible future surgeries to correct the deformity as he grows. Brisket is a loving puppy who brings joy to our family daily. He's known for his enthusiastic cuddles and endless kisses - for us and his furry friends! His favorite activity was visiting the dog park, bounding around and greeting other dogs playfully. Sadly, his worsening condition now prevents him from enjoying these outings. Despite the pain, Brisket's loving nature remains unchanged, making hi We adopted Brisket with a leg injury, expecting the shelter to cover costs. Now he needs $6,000 in surgeries they can't fund. We love him and want him healthy, but can't afford it. Your help would mean everything - giving Brisket a pain-free, active life.

Archie
Archie is a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Austin, TX, who needs $1,999 for Cytosar Infusion.
Austin, TX
I was looking to adopt a dog who normally gets over looked for whatever reason, medical issues, age, breed, ect. When I first met Archie we just clicked and I knew he was the one. Archie and I (mommy) became each others family. We live together just us in a one bedroom apartment. He is my best friend. He is so sweet and loves his belly rubs. Archie has brought so much love into my life. Archie was found in a school parking lot unable to use his back legs. APA think's he was probably hit by a car, and he suffered a broken pelvis and neurological issues. A few days ago Archie was unable to stand on his back legs. I rushed him to Central Texas Veterinary Surgery Emergency Hospital where he was diagnosed with meningitis/autoimmune disease. He is now undergoing treatments. Archie is a sweet boy who loves attention. He is always waiting at the window for me to come home from work, once I see him I wave to him and he runs to the door. On our daily walks he has a little swag walk that is just too adorable. Even though he is feeling crumby he still tries to give me a wag and give me kisses. He is such a good boy at the vet/hospital and the staff loves and adores him. Archie's has been in and out of the hospital for about a week. He will need monthly treatments moving forward. On one income working two jobs, I simply do not have that kind of money. Archie is my everything and I will do anything for him. Anything helps and is appreciated

Lila
Lila is a 3 month old Pug in Boston, MA, who needs $2,000 for Rectal Recession Resection or Coloplexy Surgery.
Boston, MA
Lila is a 12-week-old pug puppy currently in medical foster care in Texas due to a recurring rectal prolapse. She arrived at Bastrop County Animal Shelter with severe medical issues and has been in foster care since June 5th. Her dedicated foster parents are providing the care she needs. Once healthy, Lila will join me in Boston, MA, to live with her two dog siblings, Koda and Duke. She arrived infested with fleas and worms and suffering from coccidia. Most distressingly, she has a recurring rectal prolapse. After two unsuccessful surgeries and an urgent consultation, it was discovered that Lila has a stricture in her colon caused by trauma. She now needs crucial surgery at Central Texas Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital to determine the best course of action. Despite her rough start, she is incredibly affectionate and playful. Lila loves cuddling with family members and quickly bonds with everyone she meets. Her sweet nature and joyful spirit bring happiness and warmth to our home, making her truly special. She is sassy, very spunky, and loves playing with her dog friends. Lila needs urgent surgery for a rectal prolapse and colon stricture. The costs are substantial, and I'm handling this independently from my rescue. Your support will provide Lila with life-saving treatment, bringing her back to health and allowing her to come home to Boston.

Rocky
Rocky is a 5 year old Boxer in Elgin, TX, who needs $2,000 for Wound Care, Surgery, and Recovery.
Elgin, TX
Rocky came into my families life as a pair of two with his brother Danger. The owner planned to give the brothers away to separate families but we saw that they had a strong bond, so we decided to take care of them both. After spending only two years together Rocky lost his brother. Since then Rocky has stablished himself as the backbone and protector of our family. Rocky loves making friends and unfortunately because of friendliness he was attacked by another dog. Rocky suffered deep wounds to his head and ear. He is currently in Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency hospital needing immediate surgery for his wounds. His recovery will be slow and require multiple visits to the vet to insure a speedy recovery. Rocky is a loyal family member dedicated to lifting us up in our worst moment. When you first meet him you might get intimated by his size but he will make sure to break a smile on you with his goofy, smart, and big teddy bear energy. He loves to make friends and will never say to a treat or two. He loves to dance and long belly scratches. My family is currently going through a divorce and I became unemployed but Rocky should not suffer because of our unexpected financial situation. He is a fighter and I know that with the right care he will overcome his injuries. Would love to show him that we do love him.

Pooh Bear
Pooh Bear is a 8-year-old Mix in Wimberley , TX, who needs $2,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment of Hip Pain.
Wimberley, TX
This is Pooh Bear. We have raised him since he was a pup. He was born into a litter of 8 or so puppies and he was the runt, the underdog. He became Ill with worms and we were able to save him and he has lived a good life since then. He is the love of my 12 year old sons life as they have grown up together and become best friends. He is a good dog, so very loyal and protective of his family. Pooh is an inside dog who loves a comfy pillow and blanket to sleep on. He loves to sleep in our son's room since the two are best friends. When we are away he sleeps on any clothes of ours he can find on the floor, usually in the bathroom where we leave our clothes after we shower from time to time. He is greatly loved and spoiled. His favorite treats are oatmeal cookies and bacon flavored snacks Our Pooh is special to us because he is a member of our family. He has moved with us through many rough times in our life and he has stayed so loving the whole time. He offers companionship to our children and protection for our home. He always has loved playing fetch but he never likes to give up the ball. He's a trickster. Pooh needs to be examined and diagnosed by a vet, but at this time we can say that his symptoms look like hip dysplasia. He has no mobility in his back legs and this has gone from a slight limp to completely immobile within 2 weeks. We live in Wimberley and are taking him to an emergency veterinarian hospital in Austin, Tx. It would quite literally mean the world to my family, especially my son to get our dog back in good health. My husband and I do our best to work and provide for all of the demands of family life and this one is more than we can afford at one time. He is so special to us.

Jack
Jack is a 6-year-old Poodle/Terrier Mix in Austin, TX, who needs $2,000 for MRI, Testing for IVDD and Meningitis - Surgery for IVDD.
Austin, TX
In 2019 I had just went through one of the hardest events of my life, and had to help my mother escape an abusive situation with my father. When I returned, I fell into a deep depression and was struggling to get out of bed in the mornings. I started walking the dogs at Austin Animal Center regularly, and one day there was Jack. The rest is history. He saved me. Jack has been by my side ever since. He sleeps with me, runs with me, dances with me. He made a new best friend named Ella right before he began to decline and they LOVED running and playing together. He's so friendly, and more motivated by love than food. He just wants to make friends, play ball and never fusses. Even now, unable to walk and being hand-fed, he never complains. Everyone that meets Jack says he's the best dog they've ever met. I'm not making this up. Even if they have their own dog they'll whisper it to me and then deny ever saying it. He's such a happy boy with puppy energy yet somehow calm when it's time. My favorite thing he does is literally throw his own ball between his legs when I won't do so and flips around to catch it. Now he can't play ball. Jack suddenly could hardly walk on June 2nd. My vet told me he has Intervertebral Disc Desease based on a pain exam. I couldn't afford the CT scan or surgery so we tried crate rest, pain meds and steroids. They are no longer helping much, and his walking keeps getting worse. We finally saw a Neurologist and because it could be Meningitus she requires $8000 up front for an MRI. If it is IVDD surgery with the MRI is $10,000. I broke both of my wrists in an accident (spiral staircase) in April. It put me in debt and out of work. This happened to Jack the day I went back. I cannot afford much more, and really need the help.

Heimdall
Heimdall is a 6-month-old Texas Red Healer in Leander, TX, who needs $1,400 for Treatment of Tibial Tuberosity Avulsion Fracture.
Leander, TX
This is my 6 month old Puppy Heimdall he is currently training to be a service/ emotional support animal. I have epilepsy and he is learning how to help me around the house. He has already helped me tremendously. He recently broke his hind leg and has a bilateral Tibia fracture! The Bill is beginning to rack up to $3800. My husband just lost his job and we have 2 small autistic children. Heimdall is amazing. From 9 weeks he came to us from a terrible life previously. He'd caught parvo at 3 weeks old from a dog at the shelter he was living, and barely survived. He was fostered twice and rehomed and adopted 2 times before us. Heimdall is special to me because I got to nurse him back to health and watch him grow. He has a silly habit of puppy pouncing on sticks and chasing butterflies. He likes to sing and play with both his big brothers. He loves to run and slip down the hall with his blanket. He rolls around and has the cutest eyebrow. Heimdall has a Bilateral fracture in his Tibia from falling. His veterinarian surgen explained that if we can get him operated as soon as possible he may make a full recovery. I live in a one income home with my husband 2 children and cat. My husband lost his Job in May and has yet to find work. We're trying our best but need help with this hump on the road.

We currently rent out a garage from a friend, due to being a refugee of violence. Making it livable to find out the health issues we both recently have been faced with. After coming such a long way. Errbodie and his brother stayed with me, up until recently Errbodie had to stick up for himself. (Errbodie Was Ill then)Even when it came down to just the two. He seemed he had to outdo his brother. He became greedy and at times Jealous. His brother bullied him and had a lot to do with why ERRBODIE’s behaviors. in November Errbodie finally gained dominance and his brother disappeared. I feel that he has a strong connection with me. I often wonder if there was a god would he allow a guardian angel to be a kitty. He has a personality I’ve never seen in any other cat. Like playing in water. He’s the best thing that’s happened to me since I lost my kids in 2017 due to domestic violence. Errbodie was diagnosed with pneumonia and congestive heart failure on January 20,2023 by a vet and their team. He has seen 5 doctors and have some test and two X-rays since then. Resulting in a referral to a cardiologist. With my health sparking up concerns the Visits as well as the treatments are going to be pretty pricey. Therefor we have not gotten a treatment plan. until the dr sees It would mean the whole world plus some to me to get ERRBODIE’s health taken care of. Was being treated for carpals tunnel in my hands. River
River is an eight-year-old German Shepherd- Labrador mix in Austin , TX, who needs $2,000 for an MRI and spinal surgery.
Austin, TX
Lauren S. is heartbroken, financially strapped, and worried. Her family's dog, River, needs an MRI and possible spinal surgery, but they can't afford it. One day River jumped from the bed and hurt her back," Lauren tells Waggle. "She yelped when she landed, avoided walking, had issues getting up and downstairs, and started refusing to eat. A week later, River became paralyzed in her rear half." They brought River to a specialist who put her on steroids which helped some mobility and feeling return in River's hind legs. But her pain hasn't gone away, and she can't hold herself up. Now she needs an MRI and possible spinal surgery at Pet Specialists of Austin. "Our car and our dog broke at around the same time," Lauren says. "We've been without a car for a month, paying for Ubers everywhere, and we don't know if we can get the car fixed or we'll have to buy a new one. We don't have the money for an MRI and surgery." River is a designated emotional support animal for Lauren's husband, who has autism. They adopted River after she was nearly euthanized at a shelter. "She always knows when my husband is feeling down," Lauren adds. "She'll join him on the couch and demand pets until he feels better." Please help River get back on her feet again!

Mason
Mason is a nine-month old Labrador pup in Austin, TX who needs $2,000 for surgery and physical rehabilitation.
Lewisville, IN • Lucky Lab Rescue & Adoption
Mason was the victim of a hit and run! This nine-month-old pup was struck by a car and left in a ditch. Finally, someone called animal control. Officers brought him to a shelter in Houston, where he languished for days. One of his hips was fractured, and his other hip was dislocated. He also had a shattered knee. When Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption heard about Mason, one of their volunteers raced to the shelter, picked him up, and drove him to Austin. The rescue arranged for Mason to have emergency orthopedic surgery with one of the top surgeons in The Lone Star State, Dr. Bevan, at Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Emergency Hospital. Dr. Bevan says Mason was worth saving. The pup is young and spry. His bones are still green, and he will bounce back. He performed surgery on one of Mason's hips and reconstructed his knee on the same leg. After that side of Mason's body heals, he will likely need surgery on his other hip and be neutered at the same time. "At one point, I genuinely thought Mason was not going to have a good quality of life, and we were going to have to let him go," Amy T., with the rescue, tells Waggle. "It's a miracle Dr. Bevan was able to fix him up enough to give him a shot at a great life." Amazing donors helped the rescue get Mason's initial surgery done, but his recovery is just beginning. He will start water therapy three times a week for many weeks, if not months to build his strength and conditioning back up to where it should be for a nine-month-old puppy. Then his medical team will assess how to fix his other hip. Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption is an all-volunteer rescue, no one who helps run the rescue gets paid. All the donations go to the dogs. The group takes on tough medical cases, like Mason. "Mason's expenses will continue long into the future, but we know he is worth it," Amy says. "And thanks to Waggle, we are able to help raise the funds needed to pay his amazing vets."

Crowley
Crowley is a 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier in Round Rock, TX, who needs $2,000 for tick disease.
Round rock, TX
We have had sweet Crowley since he was 2 weeks old. We bottle fed him and woke up every few hours (like having a newborn) he has been the best addition to our family and a brother to our human daughter. He lights up our lives with his bright personality and his character. He is the most loving pup ever. Never mean, never barks, always wants cuddles. Crowley has a human sister and a mom and dad who love him dearly. He is friendly. Loves pets, and cuddles and never growls or barks.- even at other animals. He loves making new friends human and animal alike. He is gentle, compassionate and loves to sit with his mom. While she cooks in the kitchen or lay on the floor in his sisters room while she plays. This is an unexpected major expense. While we do have some funds to cover his needs this could be pricey and could drain us financially. We are prepared for emergencies but even unexpected costs and events make hard times Crowley unexpectedly fell ill after we came back from vacation. He started with vomiting and weakness then lost the ability to walk. (He is 8 months old) we took him into the emergency center and he is presenting with an aggressive form of tick disease. He is on constant pain meds as well as steroid and antibiotics to treat the illness. He is special because he is ours. He has truly stolen our hearts from the moment we met him. He is a part of us and not a moment goes by that he isn’t making us smile or laugh! He’s the sweetest and goodest boy ever and he truly lights up our lives. Without him we didn’t know what we were missing and with him, he makes us whole.

Michelangelo
Michelangelo is a Brown Tabby kitten in Austin, TX, who needs $1,000 for CT scan of the chest cavity and surgical removal of the right caudal lung lobe.
Austin, TX
My girlfriend and I adopted Michelangelo in January of this year from a local rescue. We've been planning to adopt a cat named Michelangelo (my favorite artist) for literal years and just needed to wait until the time was right. Finally this year, we moved out of our apartment and into a home that had room for a litter box! We searched and found this adorable boy as soon as we could. Michelangelo immediately became the Energizer Bunny center of our household. He absolutely adores his pet sibling Nutmeg, our dog, especially sleeping next to her and playing with her tail. He has the loudest purr in the world and alternates between parkour-style acrobatics and lazy, lounging naps. Adorably, he also naturally prefers to sleep in his cat carrier just like Nutmeg in her crate. We are fortunate to both have jobs and some savings that we are setting aside for his care. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery Michelangelo needs is more than twice what we expected to pay for his care and we don't have all of it in savings and need some extra help. Since the day we adopted Michelangelo he's had a persistent, hacking cough. We've been working with his vet since his very first appointment, trying to help him feel better. Finally, after several months of antibiotics that didn't work, we saw a specialist who diagnosed him with our worst-case scenario. Michelangelo has a lung disease that requires major surgery to remove part of his lung. Michelangelo is only about 4 months old and we can't wait for him to grow up into a happy, big boy. He loves to perch on our shoulders like a parrot and is the most cuddly cat we've ever met. As I write this now, he's curled up on my lap for a snuggle. He fancies himself the world's greatest hunter and gleefully stalks and attacks his pipe cleaner nemeses - his favorite toys.

Ella
Ella is an eleven-month-old Lab Mix in Austin, TX, who needs $2,000 for emergency leg surgery.
Lewisville, IN • Lucky Lab Rescue & Adoption
Poor Ella! Just when Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption hoped the pup would catch a break, she got the wrong kind of break; she broke her leg! Now the rescue and Ella really need your help. Lucky Lab saved Ella when she was a young puppy. She got adopted. Months later, Ella was returned to the rescue because she wasn't doing well with a young child in her adoptive home. The rescue arranged for Ella to live with an amazing foster who noticed the petite pup was very shy and timid. Her foster started working with Ella, teaching her to be more confident, even bringing Ella to work so the pup could socialize more with people and pets. Ella started to blossom. She came out of her shell and was just posted for adoption in Austin, Texas. Then a day ago, Ella was hopping out of the car, got tangled in a leash, and landed wrong. She fractured her leg. It was such a terrible injury her bone protruded through her skin. She is stable in the hospital but needs to have a board-certified surgeon fix her leg immediately. "Sometimes these types of fractures can occur during a dog's normal activities. They land just wrong or twist, and it sets things up for the fracture," Cori J., the rescue's medical director, tells Waggle. After Ella is all fixed up, she will be available for adoption again in the Austin area. She is wonderful with other dogs and people, still shy at times, but she will be your very best friend within minutes. She would do best in a home with adults, or adults with older kids, and a confident dog pal or two. She only weighs 30 pounds, so she would fit right into a pack. "Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption is a nonprofit organization that refuses to turn down any dog because they need medical care," Cori says. "Luckily, with amazing groups like Waggle helping us, we can save dogs who need help. Thank you to all those who help us heal our sweet Ella. She has lots of love and life to give her future family."

Frankie
Frankie is a 7-year-old Maltese in Buda, TX, who needs $1,999 for Fibrosis.
Buda, TX
Frankie is pretty much my baby that I don’t have. He was a rescue that I took in 4-5 years ago. He is an inside dog but loves to take car rides and be outdoors. He’s is very smart and loving. Anyone who gets to meet Frankie knows what’s joy he is. He is always everyone’s favorite whether it be at the vet, pet store or just on a walk. Frankie lives at home with 2 other female dogs, Rosie and Noa. Out of the 3 he is the most loving. He loves food! Lets just say, he is everyone’s favorite. I’m not just saying that because he’s my pet, he truly is. He loves to sleep on his back next to me in my bed. He is very vocal when he wants something, or he will even give you a tap with his paw. This was a very sudden expense. I always do everything I can to make sure Frankie’s help is in great condition it these expenses are going to break me. I’m thankful to have a credit card, but it’s just a about maxed out. He will be on life long treatment. Frankie was recently diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) but after a bone marrow and based off systems they believe he has fibrosis. In his condition he will be on medication for life, plus blood transfusions. He is currently being treated at the Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital, South Austin location. Frankie is the sweetest boy ever. Does not like to fight with other dogs, but he is very vocal when things need to be noticed. Smart is to say the least. He likes the camera and will do anything for a treat. I have a few videos on him on Tik Tok. He also loves going for walks and meeting new people.

Gordy
Gordy is a 8-year-old Domestic Short Hair in Austin, TX, who needs $1,000 for CT scan.
Austin, TX
Gordy lives with his momma and 4 brothers (none of them from his litter). He was a street kitty, who had sarcoptic mange, ringworm and 2 URIs (that tried to kill him), when he was a baby. He is as sweet as sugar, but also full of sass. He takes his daily medications like a champ, and is the easiest cat in the world to pill. He loves to sleep with his head and upper body nuzzled up to my neck nightly. He also likes to sit as close as he can to his favorite people, having to touch them with at least one paw. He gets along well, for the most part, with his siblings, but like most creatures gets angry if they push his boundaries too far. I am a veterinary professional, and as such, do not make a lot of money. We also live in a high cost city (Austin), when rent is high and only getting higher. It will mean everything to me to know what is causing my sweet angel distress and have trouble breathing. He recently developed sinus issues that are making sleeping difficult. In an effort to help alleviate his sinus discharge and forced mouth breathing, the vets need to investigate further with a rhinoscopy and a CT scan. According to the vet, possible causes include; a fungal infection, foreign body (something outside got in), or worst case scenario cancer. This sweet little orange tabby loves people and takes his insulin shots in stride as few cats do. He is the easiest cat ever to pill. He even purrs every time he is touched, held, or near humans. Having survived sarcoptic mange as a kitten, he received lots of care from his foster mom who instilled in him a love and trust of humans.

Laly Deliah
Laly Deliah is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky Mixed in Austin, TX, who needs $900 for Not sure yet.
Austin, TX
I got Laly a year ago from a Facebook post. The person who posted her had a Siberian husky and she got pregnant by a dingo in Dale, TX. So I sent him a text because they were so cute. We meet up with the dude and he gifted me Laly. The way I gave her name was because my name is actually "Nayelly " and my baby brother calls me "Laly" as a nickname. So I decided to name her after my nickname. She is an adventurous pet. She loves going on hikes. She loves the shallow rivers. She loves to play fetch with any object. She absolutely loves being outside and having fun. She loves to run a lot and adventure anywhere new. She also loves car rides. She is good with kids she will not bother them but just give a lot of kisses lol. And she loves family and food! This was actually very unexpected, and I just currently have no sufficient work job due too the cold weather & missing material at work. It will mean so much to me and keep every single one of ya'll in your prayers for a bigger bless. It really hurts me. Currently she is going through so much pain due to a rib fracture and leg fracture. And she has scrapes on both back and front left lets with the one in the back leg being an open wound leading to b able to see her muscle. We tried Austin Emergency Hospital for pets but I can't afford medications x-rays and treatment. Some things I love about her is that she is very goofy with her facial expressions. And when she has an attitude at time her facial expressions are funny lol. Also she is such a good dog. And loves kids and can hang and play with cats. She is also very sassy lol. Stevie is a 1-year-old German Shephard/Husky Mix in Cedar Park, TX, who needs $1,725 for orthopedic surgery to repair his fractures..
Cedar Park, TX
Stevie was given to us by a family who couldn't care for him anymore this summer. He loves to play with his big puppy brother Cooper who is at least 30 lbs heavier than him but a big baby who doesn't realize his size. Since day one they've been attached by the hip and do everything together, since our tragedy Cooper has been sad and depressed without his little brother. Stevie is a really easy going happy pup who loves to cuddle and gives love any chance he can get. His cuddle hugs are as comforting as his soft fluffy coat. He's very fast, in fact faster than his brother, but generally content as long as he is played with, gets plenty of walks, and adequate attention has been paid to his standards. We've had a rough couple of years, and made some progress but COVID19 has made it difficult bringing us to unemployment for most of the year. I recently started working again about a month ago so things are getting better but not quick enough for surgery. Stevie is otherwise an exceptionally healthy pup. We didn't get much valuable background information on Stevie before he joined our family. After being hit by a truck his femur and hip bone have been fractured and require surgery for repair for a full recovery. Stevie is special first and foremost by his breed, not many of his kind and at his size, however you better you keep an eye on him or he'll steal any napkin/tissue/paper you can find and rip it to shreds! Even when you think you might just strangle him with his own tail he sits in his own perfect little position and looks back to give you the puppy stare that has to be the most adorable little face.

Meryl
Meryl is a 7-year-old Siamese in Del Valle, TX, who needs $1,350 for Critical Care / Struvites.
Del Valle, TX
We got Merle several years ago when we rescued him from being out in the cold winter rain. He is a very characteristic cat and we love him so much. Currently we moved from the house that we were at for 14 years, and not being able to let him out where we live now has proven to be difficult because of this situation. Merle is a very vocal cat he lets you know when he's hungry, as you see in the video he was meowing know as I was taking him to the vet hey, this was several months ago when he got first diagnosed with struvites. We have three other cats living in the house and he is the only male and he acts like the king of the house I am a retired caregiver for my elderly mom and our family just had to move in July out of the house that we were in for 14 years but, we are now going to have to move at the end of October and cannot afford to get him the care he needs. Please help! Right now Merle is struggling because he is having difficulty again going to the bathroom because of the struvites that he's trying to pass however oh, we took him to the vet several months ago for the same problem which I'm still paying on we really would hope that we can go to systems to give him the care he needs because we're afraid that he will not make it if we don't As mentioned before Merle's very vocal. He definitely lets me know when he's hungry and it's usually about 6:30 in the morning when he comes around and wakes up if I get up and follows me crying out "mom" literally. When he stopped doing that a couple of days ago I knew something was wrong. We are very worried for him because we cannot afford to give him the care he needs without Waggles help

Cooper
Cooper is a 4-year-old Long Hair in Austin, TX, who needs $2,000 for urethral obstruction.
Austin, TX
Cooper came into my life about three years ago. I had just moved to Austin Texas from college to start my big boy job and was in a new city all alone. I noticed one day the local animal shelter was trying to free up some space by waving the adoption fee for cats, so I went to see if I bonded with any cat and right away Cooper and I were instant best buds. Cooper and I live in an apartment with my fiance! It took him a while to warm up to her but now he has no trouble yelling at her when it's feeding time. I've bought Cooper a couple different cat beds but for some reason the most comfortable spots are right in between my fiance and I when we are sleeping and on my chest/lap whenever I sit down on the sofa. This was an unexpected finical situation and I have done my best to pay for everything so my best friend can come home but with all things in life a $4000 bill from the vet is something no one expects. Cooper was going to the bathroom a lot and after watching him constantly go we figured something was wrong. The vet they informed me that the situation was life threatening and we should take him to an animal hospital right away. The doctor said he had an urethral obstruction and had to do surgery. After surgery they noticed blood was coming into the bladder and he need a transfusion Cooper will always have a special place in my heart as my first animal! From the time of it just being the two of us to where he'd watch with intent while I was doing a home workout to now where my fiance and I are cooking and he's sitting at the counter watching us hoping that if he acts good enough he might get a treat! After every bad day he always seems to know just how to put a smile on face!
