Duke came to me at a little over 7 weeks old. I always say that I didn't go get him, he came to us. Then he chose me to be his person. While he loves everyone in the family with all of his being, he is my best guy, and I make sure to tell him often. Unfortunately, he began to have seizures just before he turned 5. Unexplained and hard to diagnose where they come from. A little over a week ago, he had a seizure while resting on my couch. Unfortunately, our other dog tried to get him to come out of it and was too rough on him causing some life-threatening injuries that required emergency surgery and a Cornell visit. Duke loves all of the closest people and pets with all that he has. And his squeaky pig more than anything. He will play with that or a ball all day long. Right now, even through the pain, incisions and recovery, he still brings me the stinky squeaky pig and gets really frustrated when I won't throw it for him. This was a tragic accident that went really wrong. Unfortunately, the cost of the hospital stay and surgery is more than I have to cover. He will continue to have follow up appointments to check the progress and hopefully he will be back to some sort of normal.

Missy is special cause she’s the glue to our family. She came into our lives when we had lost a previous dog and helped bring everyone together. She loves anyone that she comes in contact with. With being a homeowner and working full time as it is, donations towards this unexpected event will help Missy be healthy again. Without this surgery, we don’t know how long her little body will be able to keep this up.

My Mira was born 6/7 years ago and was the only survivor of her litter hence her name Miracle, she’s a small loving kitten that loves to jump on shoulders and craves attention that has a few other kitty buddies. My cat lives with all boys that are fixed and one girl, being the youngest and safe from pregnancy she was never fixed but now it’s created a problem with her Pyometra putting her in a very dangerous situation where her uterus is slowly filling with puss. She needs an emergency surgery to drain and get her fixed to avoid it bursting and being something fatal. She loves to ride on people’s shoulders, loves kids and my nieces, she’s very good at remembering people and has been a tough soul since she was born as she was the only survivor and her mom passed shortly after. We were just planning on getting her fixed to avoid something like this from a local place then we find this out and it jumped the cost up 2 Thousand, we can’t lose our baby and don’t wanna see her possible long life ended short to something out of her control.

Carly was rescued from a rescue that was not able to provide the veterinarian care she needed. Carly had bad allergies, her feet were in horrible shape, she was skinny and behind in her vaccinations. Carly had been surrendered to the rescue severely underweight and scared of everything. Her owner had been beating her and starving her. I took Carly home to foster but knew right away she was staying A few weeks ago Carly was outside using the bathroom and did her normal lap before coming in. We have quite a bit of snow and ice and we believe she may have slipped on the ice and tore her cruciate ligament. After X-rays and a consultation it was determined that Carly would need TPLO surgery to repair the ligament and stabilize her knee. When I got Carly she was scared of everything, any noise (big or small) would make her cower in fear, she shied away from people and wouldn't hold her head high. I have had Carly for a year this month and she is a new girl. She will let people approach her, she walks with a swagger of confidence and has learned to relax. Everyone knows Carly where I live and they love seeing how far she has come. Due to a chronic illness I have been on disability for approx. 8 years. My income is fixed and I don't have much wiggle room. I need help with the last $500. Carly is only 4 and we want her to have many pain free years to run and play

Lilly was acquired through a friend, and I brought her and her brother Finnly home on St. Patrick Day last year. When I lost my husband in Feb of 2024 our 17-year- boxer mix began to decline and was laid to rest 1 month after my husband. This left our 2-year-old Golden very lonely. When a friend told me about her having his last littler and not being able to find a home for Lilly. Lilly has snapped her hip ball off of her leg bone. She was seen at Coldwater Animal Hospital, and they confirmed in x-ray her need for FHO surgery. She is only 1 and her pain is very evenident when she moves. Lilly and her brother Finnley filled a huge gap in my life with my husband gone now. When I met the breeder, it was more than clear that keeping the puppies together was something I needed to do. I am fully disabled with a displaced fracture in my lower back, and I now live on SSDI. The vet bill is estimated at $3,500 and being on a very fixed income, this is why I am asking for support.

Hello I rescued Luke from grasp rescue. His mother was a housefire and was unable to Care for the litter anymore and he needed a home. He has been a very good addition to my life. My little golden doodle was given to me by my daughter. I’ve grown to love him so much. My dog’s name is Beano and he was a blessing when he was brought to me. He was given to me through the roughest time of my life. He’s brought so much joy & laughter into my life. His loud strong barks when I come home just warms my heart. I adopted Bennie from a neighbor six years ago. Bennie had a house mate Shimmer who I adopted from a rescue 7 years ago she recently passed from cancer. This has been very hard for us. My animals are my family not just dogs. Bennie got his name from Elton Johns song Bennie and the jets. I want Bennie for ever long I can to be healthy and happy. Over the last year I noticed Bennie limping after our hikes in the woods or after playing with friends. He favors his left leg and has become less active not wanting to do as much as before. I absolutely love Bennie he is a gentle giant. When he wants a treat he will go get my shoes and toss them straight in the air flipping them perfectly and catching them. He’s always up to dressing for the season as you can see from his pics. Bennie recently loss his house mate Shimmer from cancer. He has been missing her lots but I try to keep his spirts up. So several years ago I was injured at work and became disabled. So I’m on a fixed income that barley makes living everyday hard. I lost my son two years ago and Shimmer a month ago our other dog. I am currently a college student, and I got my cat last summer in Ohio. He has been my companion ever since, and we’ve grown very close. Right now, we live together in a small apartment near my university. He is an indoor cat, and I do my best to make sure he’s well cared for, despite my busy student schedule. He has a playful and curious nature, and we’ve developed a great bond over the past year The vet at Coldwater Animal Hospital informed me that the only two options for my cat are a costly surgery or amputation. As much as I don’t want to cut off his arm, I am finding myself in a tough position. I am currently a college student, and unfortunately, I don’t have the financial means to cover the surgery, which would give him the best chance of a full recovery. My cat is not just a companion but my emotional support animal. He has helped me through many mental challenges, providing comfort and stability when I needed it most. His playful, affectionate nature and ability to sense when I’m feeling down have made him a vital part of my life. I truly can’t imagine getting through college without his support and presence. This has been an incredibly difficult time for me since I am in college I’m reaching out in the hopes of finding assistance that might help cover the costs of his surgery. I got my puppy Apricot as a gift 7 months ago. I named him Apricot because his fur is red. He is a small poodle with a lot of energy & loving big eyes. This is such a sudden major expense which was unexpected, Apricot is still a puppy but he already has his personality and he loves wide open space. I want him to be able to have a long life without complications.

One day I decided it was time yo have a big fluffy pet & I met Smoke. He was about one month when I got him but he was very big and shy. Me & my daughter were excited to meet him. My daughter fell in love once she saw him:). And now they’re best buddies, he’s always with her and is very protective of her. Smoke is a loving doggy, very playful! Smoke is always aware of his surroundings and loves to play with others. He enjoys going for walks and running, he always tries to #1 in races. Very active puppy he is! I currently don’t have the funds to take him to a vet and get him checked out. He’s been like this for 3-4 Months already. I’m worried he might get really sick. I don’t work currently, so I don’t have any income. But i know my puppy is going through a tough time because of his sickness. seeing him healthy again would mean a lot to me and my daughter.

Geralt is a rescue I took in as a second cat to be with my elderly cat Brie. Brie is 11 and Geralt is 4. They’ve bonded extremely well and support each other when each is sick or struggling with an injury. They play and spend time together. Geralt also loves to find me whenever I am and cuddle with me, being held like a baby. Geralt loves people and as well as other cats. No matter who I’ve lived with or where I’ve been Geralt has always been a kind, sweet part of the family that loves to spend time with you and around you, never hurting anyone or anything. Geralt has no tail, and has never attempted to harm any other creature (except the occasional mouse or spider). He often only likes playing with toys, and other than that enjoys to chase his bonded cat Brie around. Otherwise it’s cuddling and spending time with the nearest person around, often asking to be held. Coldwater Animal Hospital is currently treating Geralt for a Block Urinary Pathway that could have only be treated surgically. If not removed, his bladder would explode and he would pass. This issue only has a few days to be resolved. Between recently being asked to move out of my apartment (due to renovations of the apartment), switching jobs, and paying off student debt I am short financially to cover the treatment necessary to save Geralt.
