Bunny Morgan
Bunny Morgan is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in PROVIDENCE, RI, who needs $15,000 for Dialysis, Long Term Treatment, Hospitalization.
PROVIDENCE, RI
Bunny is our beautiful two-year-old bully, and she means the world to our family. She isn't just a dog—she is our baby, our best friend, our protector, and one of the biggest pieces of our hearts. She has been with us through life's happiest moments and has filled our home with unconditional love, laughter, and happiness every single day. Bunny has always had a spirit that is larger than life. Our world was turned upside down when Bunny suddenly became very sick. After rushing her for emergency care, she was diagnosed with leptospirosis, a severe bacterial infection that has caused acute kidney failure. Watching our happy, energetic girl become critically ill has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences our family has ever faced. Bunny is currently receiving lifesaving care She is loved by so many. Our children absolutely adore her. My mom lovingly calls her her "furry grandbaby." She has become family not only to us but to our friends anyone the encounters with her, from the dog park friends. Bunny is one of a kind and steals everyone’s heart, everyone looks forward to seeing her every chance they get. At home, Bunny's very best friend is our cat, Jeffisina. The veterinarians explained that Bunny would need emergency dialysis, around-the-clock hospitalization, medications, constant monitoring, and specialized critical care just to have a chance at recovery. Hearing those words was something no family is ever prepared for.

Draco
Draco is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Wallingford, CT, who needs $15,000 for Blood Transfusion and Plasma Exchange.
Wallingford, CT
I bought Draco from a former friend when he was 8 weeks old. His older dog sister Luna passed away in January from cancer. They were always together. He has a younger sister Ginny who he now spends most time with along with 4 cat siblings. He is named after Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter. He loves to be outside and loves to visit his girlfriend who lives a few doors down. I am seeking help in providing ongoing treatment for Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA). A rare condition where they're immune system creates antibodies that destroy red blood cells faster than they can be replaced. He has had two blood transfusions and will need to vet a plasma exchange. He is currently at Tufts New England Vet. Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small animals in Massachusetts. Draco loves all people and animals just wants to be outside and have fun any play. He is a very sweet, loving boy and loves to cuddle. He loves his bones and pig ears and usually buries them and hides them in clothes or under pillows. He knows how to give hugs and kisses and will often try to give you a hug when he gets excited. I lost my job in September and my older dog ended up getting really sick and had Lymphoma. I spent all my money I had on her testing and treatments. She was euthanized at home in January. I just recently found a job and I'm still trying to catch up.

Charlie Brown
Charlie Brown is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Dumont , NJ, who needs $2,000 for TEER V-Clamp Procedure.
Dumont, NJ
Charlie Brown came into my life through Louis Legacy at just 10 weeks old, a tiny two pounds of pure love who stole my heart instantly. I named him after the beloved Peanuts character, known for his big heart and gentle spirit, because my pup carried that same sweet, hopeful energy. From day one, he’s been greeting everyone with kisses, playful yet soulfulbringing joy and comfort to all. Charlie Brown, my joyful boy, has congestive heart failure from an enlarged heart. For 6 months he’s fought bravely, taking 4 meds, 4 times a day holding on though his body ages faster than his spirit. Once we walked 6 miles daily; now each step is a gift. The V-Clamp TEER at Tufts offers him a chance to run again, free from meds that keep him alive but slowly harm his kidneys. Charlie Brown is pure love he makes friends everywhere, convinced the world comes just to see him. During Covid, daily CVS visits lifted his spirits, and now he has friends in every town. A talker who can say hello, he’s gentle, smart, and endlessly adaptable. Vets and strangers alike say the same: there’s just something special about him. My Velcro pup, happiest curled up by my side. Charlie Brown is only 8, yet his care since March has cost over $15k, with $500 monthly meds. Insurance covers little. As a single woman with no safety net, I face losing my otherwise healthy, joyful boy simply due to cost. He is my heart. I’m asking for help to save him.

Consuela
Consuela is a 5 month old Mix-Breed in Blackstone, MA, who needs $5,000 for Surgery to Correct Left Tibial Tuberosity Avulsion.
Blackstone, MA
Consuela was adopted on 6/16. My sweet Hannah, best friend for 15.5 years, had crossed the rainbow bridge on 2/26. I knew I wanted another dog eventually but did not know when I would be ready. One of the nicknames I had for Hannah, was Consuela. When we saw the post for Consuela up for adoption I knew it was a sign. We met her and fell in love. She is perfect and the sweetest girl. An angel Consuela and I were playing fetch Thursday night. She went to jump for the toy and somehow slipped when she landed, landing on her back/left leg, immediately crying and unable to bear any weight on it. She was rushed to tufts and got diagnosed with Left tibial tuberosity avulsion. She needs surgery to correct this. Consuela was sent by Hannah. She is an angel on Earth. Truely the sweetest girl. She loves to be outside and go on adventures. She loves everyone and everything. She hops like a little bunny when she’s chasing a toy, gets the craziest zoomies, and is the biggest cuddler. She is so smart too. She loves the outdoors and going for rides. She is an active dog and is not enjoying the bed rest 😭 The surgery is quoted at 5-6k. I am applying for grants and doing everything I can. I am extremely grateful for any donations. This money goes from here right to the vet clinic where the surgery is being taken place, Tufts to get this little girl fully healed. Thank you 🙏

Mystic
Mystic is a 13 month old Mix-Breed in Millbury, MA, who needs $2,000 for Azithromycin /w Supportive Care of Acute Diarrhea.
Millbury, MA
Mystic is my new best friend! He came into my life as a rescue from a shelter in the south that works with a shelter in my state, Massachusetts. He was fostered for a few months before becoming available for adoption; passing his health checks easily. On March 12, 2024, I picked up Mystic to bring him back to his new forever home with me. When Mystic moved into the room prepared for him, he used the cat box. He had terrible gas and diarrhea; a common condition from the stress of travel. Unfortunately, within a week his health worsened. Riverlin Animal Hospital diagnosed a cryptosporidium parasite infection. Mystic had a health crisis and I rushed him to Foster Hospital ER. Mystic is likely to survive with proper medical support. I was excited to welcome this 1-year-old cat with a history of being gentle and playful. We bonded instantly over a feather wand toy! Mystic also loves playing with a faux sheep-skin mouse. He fell asleep happily in a box after intensely batting the mouse around the room. The felt cat bed was an instant hit too. Mystic is very talkative, cuddly, and purrs happily. We share eye blinks and blips. I am a disabled senior living alone in public housing on a fixed income. The little savings I had has gone to Mystic's health crisis, but it is far short of what is needed to save his precious life. My heart is breaking!

Rocket
Rocket is a 9-month-old White Retriever in Hancock, ME, who needs $2,000 for Stent and Coil Embolization of Portosystemic Shunt.
Hancock, ME
Rocket or as most call him "Rocket Man", no not the song by Elton John but more of the Guardians of the Galaxy because he's a bit crazy like the character. We adopted Rocket when he was three months old from friends of ours. We live rurally and have plenty of room for him to run around, eat sticks and sniff out deer dung which if you've ever have had a retriever it's literally like candy. Rocket has been a whirl wind from day one from crashing zoomies in and out of house to batting the giggle ball around all the while having a stuffed animal in his mouth. There are plenty of walks when the weather isn't to frigid and he loves to taunt you when playing. At the end of the day, old boy is curled up in his own bed ready to sleep. He loves everybody and has the sweetest disposition. Sticks, sticks sticks! It must be a retriever thing because he loves to chew them, eat them or just drag them around. Oh! and sleeping. This pup sleeps with all fours in the air. He is though the most endearing pup we have ever known. Like I said, he loves everybody, is happy, goofy and stubborn. He has this look he'll give you like "uuuh not having it, not doing it and not listening to you." Rocket was born with an intrahepatic shunt which is the blood supply in liver (toxins) diverted to the major blood supply which would build up toxin levels like ammonia and if not treated they'll have seizures and then death. Surgery is an option, not 100% but will prolong his life from 2-3 yrs if managed medically to 8-13yrs. Dr. John Rush of Tufts hospital for small animals will do the surgery. While we are able to meet our monthly financial obligations, including Rocket's special food and meds, the cost of the surgery is above and beyond our financial capabilities.

Pauly
Pauly is a 3-year-old Pitbull in North Oxford , MA, who needs $1,000 for ICU Continued Care for Oxygen Supplementation and Pain Management.
North Oxford, MA
Pauly joined our family at 4 months old. His previous owners were seeking a loving family who could take him in as they were preparing to relocate and couldn’t take him along. From the second we saw his sweet face we knew he’d be our perfect fit and we knew we’d be his! He quickly became part of our family and we couldn’t imagine this home or life without him. Simply put, Pauly is the best! He enjoys a good session of snuggling. He’s the epitome of a lap dog and prefers to be as close to his humans as he can get. He’s very friendly, loving and plenty silly. Fetch and lounging in the grass on a nice day rank pretty high for Pauly too. He loves any activity that involves lots of running and rewards. He’s a big treat guy! Pauly never fails to make me smile. Whether he has the zoomies and dashes through the house at record speeds or taps my hand with his paw to get continued pets he’s constantly looking to engage with his family. He’s known for making the lap of our company a cozy place to rest. He’s just the sweetest boy who makes his love for us known everyday. He’s a true best friend. On Friday 1-12-23 pauly breeched our gate and managed to get across the road. While coming back he was hit by a pickup traveling at a slightly higher speed than allowed in our 20 zone. He was taken to Tufts ER, where he remains. He had blood in his abdomen, a pneumothorax, some cuts and extensive lung bruising. He needed a chest tube installed right away and was unable to breathe unassisted. After a total of $7k on our end we have reached a the end of our financial capabilities. This has put such an emotional strain on our entire family because Pauly is as much a part of our family as any human and he deserves to come home to us. We love him dearly.

Mia
Mia is a 4-year-old Long Hair Domestic Cat in Worcester, MA, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Surgery.
Worcester, MA
Mia was abandoned by a former room mate. Her story was sad due to her mistreatment by her first guardian. That made her a bit hostile towards strangers and other pets. While moving out, I decided to keep her since she was already part of my family. Eventually she developed better social skills with humans and other pets alike. She found a friend in another rescue cat that came from Puerto Rico. They became best friends. This was her first interaction with another cat besides her sister and her mother. She loves to play with random strings around the house. Shes an agile hunter and loves to chase prey. Her friend is the other cat that was a rescue. She loves running water noise. Whenever she hear either a faucet going or even water from a bottle she just runs to play with that water and also enjoys drinking it. A great hunter that loves water and surprisingly also enjoys showers. Unfortunately, Mia suffered Pyometra (Deadly Uterine Infection) her uterus is swollen due to bacterial infection and needs to be removed immediately. Shes currently being treated at Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals in North Grafton, MA I just came from work and noticed her laying down on the floor. I reach out to her and her vitals were low. I took her to the local 24 hr emergency room were the options were either take her to a specialized icu or put her down. Cost for this emergency procddure is $8000

Lilo
Lilo is a 2.5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier in Killingworth, CT, who needs $2,000 for Balloon Valvuloplasty.
Killingworth, CT
I adopted Lilo on October 17, 2022 from the Windsor Animal Shelter in Windsor, CT. We have been caring for her for only four months now, but she has been part of the family since day 1. It’s rare that she spends time alone at home and almost always has someone with her to give her belly rubs and plenty of treats. Lilo has such a goofy and sweet disposition with her people. She loves any and all attention, whether that’s cuddling during a movie or a gentle game of tug-of-war when the mood strikes. And while she’s not training for a marathon any time soon, she still appreciates going on walks at her own pace. But at the end of the day, she’ll never turn down a meal or a long nap in one of her many beds. Whenever someone comes in through the door, she has to be the first one to say hello with one of her stuffed animal “babies” while doing her signature crab walk. It’s impossible to not laugh seeing her butt and tail wiggle a mile a minute! And if she’s not busy as the greeting committee, she isn’t afraid to remind us when it’s close to mealtime with her grumpy whines and stompy feet. During her first vet appointment, Lilo was found to have a significant heart murmur on the right side of her chest. After meeting with two different cardiologists both in and out of state, she was diagnosed with severe pulmonic stenosis, a congenital heart defect. The only thing that could help this condition is getting a balloon valvuloplasty. As her primary owner, I have limited funds as a returning student. Getting this diagnosis and treatment plan was unexpected when I adopted her, but I still want to get her the help she needs to improve her quality of life, regardless of the cost.

Milly
Milly is a 4-year-old Chihuahua Mix in Whitinsville, MA, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Surgery for Broken Leg, Pelvis, and Toes.
Whitinsville, MA
We were so luck to get Milly as a rescue. We know that she was found in a box outside a dunkin. You could tell there was abuse in her little life. She is such a wonderful dog with unconditional love for all of us, especially my 10 year daughter Charly, who actually named her. We only have had Milly for six short months and can't imagine our lives without her. 💔 So, Milly loves, loves, loves to be under the blanket all the time. At bedtime she'll wait on top of the comforter until I get under then she will nudge the comforter with her nose and wiggle herself down under, right next to my tummy. She has her internal clock right in point, because she will goto the window right about the time I get home every day!! Milly is so very special to us because she has had such a rough time of it before she came to us and we are to be her forever family and grow old together. She has the cutest sort of pre-bark, like a whine.... as if she is singing. Every day I look forward to coming home to see her and we go for our long walks after dinner. She loves to have her belly rubbed and if you stop, she begs for more!!! Milly was a victim of a hit and run and miraculously has lived with only a broken leg and pelvis. I, unfortunately witnessed the entire incident and cannot get the image out of my head. It's by the grace of God that she's still with us and for that we need to do EVERYTHING possible to fix her up!!!! With my husband recently disabled I am currently the only person working. We have one daughter who is 10 and into everything. Milly has immensely helped with everyone's disposition, especially, my disabled husband. It would mean the world to all of us if Milly were saved.

Priscilla
Priscilla is an 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in Thompson, CT, who needs $2,000 for urgent airway surgery.
THOMPSON, CT
Jen B. lives to help animals. Not only does she rescue them, she is also in school at Tufts University to become a veterinarian. A couple of years ago, Jen was in an animal clinic helping out when a sweet Yorkshire Terrier was rushed in. "She suffered a stroke and landed at the vet clinic," Jen tells Waggle. "She was starting to improve, but her owners felt she'd never be the same, so they asked she be euthanized. I stepped in as she clearly had more life to live. Being in rescue, my plan was to find her a new family, but when my boyfriend met her, it was clear she was staying put." Jen and her boyfriend adopted Priscilla and spent even more money fixing her up. Priscilla's teeth were in really horrible shape. "She was seen by a dental specialist who ended up needing to remove all of them, as they were either loose or rotting," Jen says. "That still wasn't enough to keep her from her first love: food! When she smells food, she becomes quite vocal and occasionally barks so loudly, we think it's one of our big dogs." Unfortunately, Priscilla was involved in an altercation with a big dog and now needs urgent surgery. "Her jaws sustained multiples fractures, and her breathing was so compromised, we thought we were going to lose her," Jen says. "The Tufts doctors didn't give up, finding a way to keep her airway open until she had surgery to stabilize her jaw. Her breathing didn't improve, though. Now a second surgery, an epiglottectomy, is needed to allow her to live." Once surgeons partially remove Priscilla's epiglottis, she is expected to recover and be able to breathe much better. But Jen is panicking because she is drowning in debt as a struggling veterinary student and can't afford this life-changing operation. "I'm subsisting off school loans and don't have the funds for an additional surgery. I'm struggling to get by without an income, yet she needs this procedure. Priscilla is a fighter, and it would mean everything to bring her home again." Please help Jen "pay it forward" so Priscilla can get the medical treatment she needs. When Jen is a full-fledged veterinarian, she will undoubtedly return the favor to help even more animals in need.

Pepper
Pepper is a Fox Terrier Mix puppy in Mattapoisett , MA, who needs $2,000 for Balloon Valvuloplasty.
Mattapoisett, MA
Pepper joined the Churchill family at 12 weeks of age from a rescue this past July as the much awaited birthday present of Courtney’s youngest son. Pepper brought immediate joy and contentment to a young man that has been working to overcome anxiety and OCD. Pepper was instantly welcomed and showered with unconditional love. She not only brought happiness but settled a young mind. At this time, Pepper is the most laid back puppy. She loves playing with her boys. Her favorite toys must squeak and she loves her orange ball. But most of the time Pepper is a cuddle bug. With her illness she cannot be too active. For a 6 month old puppy she is very chill. There are many restrictions on activity so we are very limited. She makes us all smile daily. I am a single mother that has used most of my saving for the adoption and all the appointments that have followed. My savings does not have any more to assist. When she joined our family I took her to the local vet who found the heart murmur. The month follow up with a different vet confirmed our fears and we were referred to a local cardiologist. That doctor did not have a good prognosis but my primary vet gave us hope and referred us to Tufts Vet Hospital near Boston. Dr. Emily Karlin has given us hope. Pepper is the sweetest little girl. She is so trusting and protective of her family. She loves to bark at her shadow and always makes us laugh. She also has a fondness for chasing leaves and since we live close to the woods, our leaves keep her pretty busy. With her illness we are very limited on activity. We cannot go for walks or play too hard but she does go everywhere with us.
