John, Sarah, Elizabeth and Esther
John, Sarah, Elizabeth and Esther are 3 month old Mix-Breeds in Amarillo, TX, who need $2,000 for Parvovirus Treatment.
Amarillo, TX
Gracie's Project Gracie's Project received a tip that there was a litter of puppies that had been abandoned on the side of the road in Amarillo, Texas. They were emaciated, covered in fleas and ticks, and were hunkered down in a thin grass patch on the side of a busy road. It was blistering hot. There were four in total that were still alive, and sadly, two had passed. They were quickly taken to Cadillac Vet, where they began evaluating their health. Sadly, the four surviving puppies all tested positive for parvo, a highly contagious virus that attacks a dog's white blood cells and can be fatal. Esther, Sarah, Elizabeth, and John, are all being closely monitored and treated. The virus was caught with barely enough time to spare, but all four puppies have hopeful prognoses. They all just want to be loved and readily accept any and all attention. Gracie's Project is a non-profit organization that relies on donations to help the animals they bring in. Please help in them with supporting John, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Esther. They deserve to have their faith in humans restored and live a long happy life, like all dogs. Update 8/17 All four puppies are doing wonderfully. They are stable enough to go to a foster and finish their recovery in a loving home. They are putting on weight and spend their days napping hard and playing harder!

Bailey
Bailey is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in amarillo, TX, who needs $1,500 for Tick Borne Illnesses and Mass on His Face.
amarillo, TX • Gracies Project
* Gracies Project * Bailey was found roaming by himself with a huge mass on his nose. He was absolutely exhausted and needed help. Gracie's Project, a local rescue in Amarillo, Texas, made it their mission to rescue Bailey from the streets and get him the medical care he needed. Bailey was taken to the vet where they immediately began his assessment. He tested positive for two tick-borne illnesses, fortunately both treatable. The mass on his nose is the cause for largest concern now. Bailey's caretakers are working hard to understand what is going on with this sweet pup and make sure he knows he is now safe and loved. It is obvious that Bailey is a kind soul who loves humans. Every time somebody walks in the room, Bailey begins to quietly wag his tail and with eyes just full of love. How somebody could let their dog get to this point, and then just leave them behind, is a complete unknown. What is known though, is that Bailey will receive all the tender love and care from here on out. Bailey is now safe, thank goodness, but has a journey ahead of him. He needs help getting the tests and treatments to get his health back. Gracie's Project is a non-profit organization that relies on donations so they can do everything they can to support Bailey.

Amarillo, TX
* Gracie's Project * Poor Trixie found herself at a local high kill shelter in Amarillo, Texas with a broken leg and pelvis. Trixie is only 2 months old. Gracie's Project heard about her and knew they needed to step in and help. Trixie is now at Cadillac Vet, awaiting funds for surgery to get pins and plate put in her leg. Sweetgirl
Sweetgirl is a 9 month old Australian Shepherd in Amarillo, TX, who needs $2,000 for Broken Pelvis and Stitches.
Amarillo, TX
* Gracie’s Project * Sweetgirl was found on the side of the highway, after a hit-and-run. She was all alone and helpless, her back legs open, exposed, and broken. The moment Gracie's Project heard about her, they immediately rushed to go pick her up. Sweetgirl was taken to Cadillac Vet in Amarillo, Texas. She had x-rays taken that revealed a broken pelvis. Her back leg also has a significant wound that needs to be stitched up. At first, she did not want to eat or drink, so she is receiving a special diet and fluids. She is currently on different medications to help with pain. Naming this sweet pup was the easiest thing in the world, as she is the sweetest! She loves to chat and is super vocal. Due to being on crate rest and being in pain, she is often unsettled. The moment she is being loved on and pet, she immediately calms down and stares at you with eyes full of love. She has a heart of gold. It is so heartbreaking to know what she has endured. Gracie's Project is a non-profit animal rescue that relies on donations to help animals like Sweetgirl. Please consider donating to help her on her journey back to health. Like all innocent animals, she deserves a fighting chance and all the support she can get.

RePete
RePete is a 3-month-old Blue Put Dog in Amarillo, TX, who needs $426 for Diagnose and Medicate.
Amarillo, TX
Well, before this one, I had a brendyl pit that went EVERYWHERE I went. He was a great dog. He was friendly, loyal, and even saved my life once. I could walk him anywhere and didn’t need a leash. He would stay right by my side. He was my best friend. He was stolen from me and never found. A good friend of mine gave me this little guy to fill the void. That’s why his name is RePete. First was Pete He is my dog solely but loves anybody that he sees me love. He treats strangers with reserve and will even bark and growl to let them know to stay back if they move too close or too fast. He knows my intentions or feelings in any given instance and how each person should be handled. He’s very protective and has great instincts. He obviously loves all people food. Even though I discourage feeding him people food it’s almost impossible to stop females in the world to come screeching towards us when they see us and showering him with hugs and kisses and every possible thing they can find that’s edible to give him to buy his love for a second. He’s too darn cute. He got sick overnight. I don’t know if he was poisoned intentionally or he just got into something he wasn’t supposed to. He won’t hold down food or water and is almost lethargic. You can tell he is just in a lot of pain. There were 4 other dogs around him during the time he would have gotten into whatever made him this way and none of them are sick I don’t get paid until tomorrow. I’ll spend my whole check to make sure he is ok. Even if that means we have to be homeless for another month. He’s my rock right now and I can’t let him stay miserable like he is. I gotta get him better.

Cloud
Cloud is a 11-year-old cat in Amarillo, TX, who needs $700 for Medical Treatment.
Amarillo, TX
Cloud was one of the 7 from a litter of 17 (we had three mothers in our shed we got fixed soon after) that survived from cat leukiama, even with his birth defects he became a foster fail because we felt he was part of the family while raising him with siblings for a pet rescue.I am a single mom forced to live with family members, our only income is child support and ssi. Cloud can be abit dominant, but he does get along greatly with my other personal pet. When he isn't able to get in my room, Cloud can be seen sleeping with the kids. He is also good handling the bugs that he may happen to find,Cloud also has an interesting way removing plastic bottle caps from ontop of water bottles Even if Cloud is my sons esa, he seems to have gotten attached to me, sometimes I do question if he is to smart for his own good the way he sometimes acts. There was one occansion I have had my water bottle sitting on the ground, the lid was on tightly yet he had managed to remove the cap and srop i on the floor to bat at Because he was born abit deformed,Cloud had to have surgery to remove his stump. After we brought him home we think one of the other cat accidentally jumped on him and crushed his lung, thankfully with hope vet care we didnt lose him but came close a few times. When we were able to bring him back, Cloud developed pnuemona and we have spent another seven hundred for that visit ( still breathing bad Unexpected bills came up, and covid really has hit my business hard with it canceling events left and right, it really pains me to see him suffering. If we cant get help I fear we will have to put him to sleep
