Amorette
Help a Brave Little Yorkie Take Her Next Steps
Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue
Meet Amorette: a tiny Yorkie with an unimaginable story. She was found alone, injured, and frightened in a stream, suffering from a traumatic wound. Despite everything she’s been through, Amorette is still here and fighting. Our veterinarian believes Amorette lost her left foot up to the metatarsal joint due to a severe injury, and she is also missing a toe on her right foot. Her recovery will not be quick or easy. Amorette will need weekly bandage changes, ongoing veterinary care, and careful monitoring to prevent infection and ensure proper healing. Once she is stable, we are hopeful she may become a candidate for a prosthetic which will give her the chance to walk, run, and live comfortably again. But right now, her care is urgent. The medical costs for her treatment are already adding up, and we cannot give Amorette the future she deserves without help. Every donation supports her healing, her comfort, and her chance at a new life. Please consider giving today to help this little survivor take her next steps toward hope.

They couldn’t keep him and were preparing to release him again—but we couldn’t let that happen. We’ve posted on Nextdoor and put out signs to try to find his owner, but so far, no one has come forward. In the meantime, he needs to be seen by a vet. He will need to be neutered, have bloodwork and X-rays done, and receive a full check-up. He is sweet, gentle, and well-behaved, but clearly needs veterinary care. He is not neutered and appears to have issues with his hips or back. He walks fine but avoids jumping or putting much weight on his back legs, which suggests he may need X-rays and further evaluation. We already have an elderly dog of our own with high medical costs, along with other animals, and simply can’t afford to cover this unexpected need on our own. But we are committed to making sure this sweet dog gets the care he needs and never ends up in a shelter. If we don’
