Jiggy is a 10 year old Boston Terrier. He has been my best friend since he was 8 weeks old. He is lively and full of energy! We live next to a farm where he loves to visit his horse friends. Jiggy had to have his right eye removed in March 2025. His recovery went smoothly and he did well adjusting. This past week his left eye became cloudy and an ulcer appeared. On August 5th he had emergency surgery to remove his left eye. When we came home that night his eye swelled significantly. I applied ice as directed. This morning his site opened up and started bleeding. He had surgery again. Jiggy is healthy, happy, and full of energy. He loves his toys and playing fetch. He has been the most loyal and loving best friend. We lost his pug sister almost 2 years ago which was hard for him. Jiggy loves to run around and play with my daughter’s dog in our fenced yard. He also loves the occasional burger as a treat. I am a palliative care patient and am on a fixed income which makes big emergencies really hard. I love Jiggy with everything I am and rely on him to get me through the tough days. It would truly mean the world to me to be able to have him get back to his happy, healthy self

Max has been part of our family for 7 years. We adopted him from a rescue center when he was around 12 weeks old. He has 3 human siblings and 2 guinea pig friends. Max needs to have some dental work performed. He has multiple infected teeth causing his face to swell that need to be extracted. This infection has the possibility to harm his organs. Max loves to snuggle with us under a warm blanket. He also loves his walks. But if someone rings the doorbell or walks by outside he becomes a maniac. This is an unexpected financial need. Max’s human siblings are doing all they can to fundraise and earn money to pay for this. We appreciate all that share in this burden.

We drove over 600 miles to pickup our MALLIE girl in detroit early summer 2020. From day one she has been a blessing to not only us but her brother GIDEON as well. unfortunately we lost her brother last year and even though the heartbreak of loosing him was tough MALLIE our crazy pup remained our joy and our rock. Entertaining our hearts like only she can. If you can’t donate We ask you pray MALLIE is and always has been up-to-date on her shots. Regular vet check ups has never really had any medical problems or history of medical conditions. We noticed a change in behavior. She wasn’t eating as much as she usually does so we scheduled the next available appointment. At North paws animal hospital. And discovered she has canine pyometra and needs emergency surgery. 400 characters is nowhere near enough to express in detail why MALLIE. Is so special to us. But I will say this, for anyone who has ever had a pet in their life that they love and that they know loves them that makes you smile, lights up the eyes of your children, family, friends and of complete strangers When you have that bond you know in your heart why they’re special that’s MALLIE for us Everybody has financial hardships and unfortunately, we’re no exception i’ve personally had three open heart surgeries myself. we’re asking for help because to myself. Nicco

Nicco came into my life in July 2016 when he was 8 weeks old, after my golden retriever passed away from cancer that June. He is now 6 years old, and has two older cat ‘siblings’, Cali, and Gizmo. My oldest son picked out Nicco’s name, because he wanted it to be German since he is a german shepherd. Nicco Kaiser is the name that stuck. He was so smart, and easy to train. He learned the trick, 'give me your paw' in two hours. 'Roll over' took a little more time, and eventually was called, 'show me your tum tum'. Everytime I come home, and walk through the door Nicco will walk in a circle two times then he immediately lays down on the floor with all four legs up in the air waiting on his "tum tum rubbins". He loves to play in the snow catching snowballs thrown to him. He also likes using his face as a snow shovel. His absolute favorite toy is his tire toy. If he goes out to pee, and gets on the porch realizing he forgot his tire toy, he will do a u-turn, and come back inside looking for it then emerging with it, and will go pee with it in his mouth. He LOVES to catch bubbles! Nicco was misdiagnosed in November 2021 by an incompetent vet. I switched to a different vet that was recommended by friends. Dr. Katelyn Mumma from North Paws Animal Hospital did a thorough exam, and aspirated one of the two lumps on his right hind quarter. It was discovered that he has cancer. He also has a firm anal gland that may be cancer also. I have had the worst 3 months of my life. My mom passed away, 8 days later my husband, the soul income provider abandoned our family, now Nicco has cancer. I'm getting very little money from my husband. He won't pay for Nicco's surgery either. Please help me save my dog.
Ika

Our lovely Ika came into our lives via a German Shepherd Breeder. Something told me to go their site, so I did. We found Ika who was going to be retired as a breeding dog and was being given away to a forever home! We fell in love with her and brought home to live out her adult days in a loving home. When we brought Ika home it was all new to her, living in a household that is. She was used to the kennel life and making puppies, she was not really familiar with living in house with a family. When we first got her we were still in an apartment and she looked at steps like "what are those"? She attached herself to my wife and follows her every where and I mean every where! My wife is disabled and and we are a one salary household. We have been able to come with a little less than half and may only be able to do one of the procedures but both are needed. My wife and Ika rely on one another for company since I am the only one working. Even though we have brushed her teeth and given her toys to help with cleaning them she has a infected tooth or teeth that need to be extracted she also has some growths(mammary tumors) on her undercarriage that may or not be cancerous. They need to be removed because if they get too big they could effect her walking. Doing both procedures together is better since she is older at 12 years old Ika loves to follow mommy around the house and does not know the meaning of personal space lol. She always does this happy dance when ever you grab her leash, even at 12 years old with a replaced hip and elbow, she will still hop around like a bucking bronco to show her joy that she knows we are going for a car ride. She also loves to go shopping in the refrigerator.

My family and I rescued Lucy from an abusive home and welcome her into ours in November of 2018. Lucy is out sort of saving grace after we lost a total of 3 dogs in a time span of less than a year—she was the bundle of joy and happiness my family truly needed. Lucy has taught us how to handle the craziest puppy we’ve ever had—I mean she was insanely hard to break natural instincts of biting and herding. Occasionally she will still try to herd us but that’s her natural instincts. Lucy has an older “sister” named Sabelle who is also a GSD, they get along just fine almost all of the time. Our two girls are special members of our family and now one of them needs your help.
