Jubilee

Jubilee- spent 45 days dumped in the woods surviving, is now fighting for her life

Deltona, FL • Purrfectly Wonky Animal Rescue

💔 After 45 Days of Surviving Alone… Jubilee Is Fighting for Her Life. 💔 Jubilee. Named after the church where her family abandoned her instead of doing the right thing and finding her a loving home or rescue. They gave her no chance. For a month and a half, Jubilee survived alone in the woods beside that church, just feet from a busy road. Every night she curled up alone in the woods, scared, and forgotten. For weeks, we showed up every single day. We fed her on a schedule, let her get used to our scent, built a custom trap, monitored trail cameras, and prayed she would trust us enough to walk into that kennel. She was so broken. You’d only catch glimpses of her peeking through the trees or walking down the side of the road with her head hanging low. Then one day… she chose to trust us. She walked into the kennel. We cried tears of relief because we truly believed the hardest part of her story was finally over. Jubilee settled into her foster home and experienced things she’d likely never had before—a soft bed, toys, regular meals, and people who loved her. She finally got to stop surviving, stop living in fight or flight and simply be a dog. But that happiness lasted only a few days. Jubilee didn’t want to eat dinner Wednesday. Anyone who knows Jubilee knows that’s not normal. Her foster rushed her in for testing and unfortunately she tested positive for parvo. Now the little dog who survived abandonment, starvation, loneliness, and weeks alone in the woods is lying in an emergency hospital, fighting for her life. It’s impossible not to wonder… If someone had simply vaccinated her… If someone had simply asked a rescue for help… If someone had simply cared… Would she be fighting for her life today? We can’t change the choices that were made for Jubilee. We can only fight to make sure they aren’t the reason she loses her life. Our rescue is exhausted. Emergency after emergency has drained every dollar we have. Medical bills continue to pile up, but giving up on Jubilee has never been an option. Please, if you can, donate. If you can’t, please share her story. She waited 45 days for someone to save her. Please don’t let her run out of time now. ❤️ She deserves the chance to know that being rescued wasn’t the happiest part of her story… it was only the beginning.

Shoes

Shoes is a 3 Year Old Mix-Breed in Shalimar, FL, Who Needs $2,000 for 4 Blood Transfusions, Steroid Therapy, Darbepoetin.

Shalimar, FL

When my grandfather, James “Shoes” Schumacher, was dying of aggressive prostate cancer in 2022, I felt lost and alone at college. A family friend found kittens in a storm drain, and Shoes instantly felt sent from above. I drove eight hours home to rescue him and named him Shoes. For three years, he’s filled my life with love, comfort, and joy after every long day. Shoes is battling life-threatening non-regenerative anemia, now suspected to be myelodysplastic syndrome—a bone marrow failure disorder. After 30 days of testing with no clear cause and repeated transfusions, his body can no longer make blood on its own. He’s under the care of Oviedo Veterinary Care and the University of Florida Small Animal Hospital Internal Medicine team. Shoes has a heart as big as his name. My military parents swore a cat would never enter the house—now my dad buys him gifts yearly and meows back at him. Shoes loves everyone, cats and dogs alike, and has never hissed once. He plays fetch, sits on command, and greets every guest with affection. He’s pure love and joy wrapped in fur. As a pre-dental student at the University of Central Florida, I’ve worked tirelessly to support myself, but Shoes’ medical crisis has left me over $10,000 in vet bills with no clear answers. Even if he doesn’t survive, I knew I had to give my baby a fair chance at life.

Julio

Julio Is In Need Of Funding For Emergency Medical Care!

Deltona, FL • Purrfectly Wonky Animal Rescue

Julio came to us just a few weeks ago with his littermates. Julio was diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a condition that makes him unsteady on his feet. He wobbles, he tumbles, and he gets right back up again. But recently, something terrifying started happening. Julio began having seizures—two in just one week. Even as his tiny body shakes, he still purrs. It’s nothing short of heartbreaking. This brave boy has a long road ahead. He has a vet appointment soon and a neurology consultation scheduled for the 24th. He’ll need a full workup — bloodwork, advanced testing, and medications to help control the seizures. And that’s just the beginning. We’ve already learned that Julio’s medical mystery runs deeper than we thought. At 12 weeks old, while his siblings are strong and healthy at nearly four pounds, Julio weighs just 1.8. He’s a fraction of their size. His symptoms don’t fully match his CH diagnosis. The seizures, the slow weight gain, the setbacks — they tell us there’s something more going on. We’re waiting anxiously for answers, but Julio doesn’t make it easy to relax. Because this morning, he threw us another curveball—a rectal prolapse, which now requires surgery. So here we are again, rallying for our little miracle kitten. As a small rescue, we simply can’t shoulder these bills alone. Now, we are asking for your support. Every single donation helps us give him the care he desperately needs—every test, every treatment, every chance to live the life he deserves. Please, if you can, donate to help us fund Julio’s urgent medical care. Share his story to spread the word. Julio may be small, but his fight is mighty, and with your help, he won’t face it alone. Thank you! 1/10/26 Update: Help Recoup Cost For Julios Treatment & Ongoing Care As He Continues To Heal Thriving, Healing, and Almost Ready for His Furever Home We are so happy to share some wonderful news about our little miracle kitten, Julio 💙 After everything this tiny warrior has been through—his cerebellar hypoplasia diagnosis, frightening seizures, slow growth, and emergency surgery—Julio is doing so much better. Thanks to the medical care, love, and support. Julio is stable, feeling good, and showing us his resilient spirit every single day. He still wobbles, he still tumbles… and he still pops right back up, purring as loud as ever. His seizures are being managed, he’s gaining strength, and his sweet, playful personality is shining through more and more. The next step for Julio is being neutered, and once he’s healed from that procedure, he will be officially ready for his furever home 🏡 He will need a special adopter who understands his CH and ongoing needs, but he has so much love to give and will make an incredibly rewarding companion. Donations are still appreciated in order to recoup the cost of care Julio received when his future was uncertain. Every donation, every share, and every kind word helped give him this second chance. Julio may be small, but his spirit is mighty — and we cannot wait to see him start the next chapter of his life with the perfect forever family 💙🐾

Rue is a 1 year old French Bulldog in Orlando, FL, who needs $2,000 for C-Section and After Care.

Orlando, FL

Rue came to us in November when her original owner realized they did not have enough time for her and wanted a better home for her. She currently lives with myself, my husband and two children. We also have another French bulldog Skywalker and 2 kittens that she loves to play with. She is a hyper outgoing dog. Rue is pregnant and currently in labor and we are unable to pay for her c-section. Her pregnancy was not planned, when she was in heat we tried to best we could to keep her and our other frenchie apart.. It did not work. He got to her one time and that’s all it took. I am desperate for help to get her delivered she is miserable in pain and I am worried this will take a bad turn. Rue loves to run around, play fetch and boss all of our family members around. She is the best cuddler and my protector. She loves teasing her brother frenchie and stealing his treats. My husband is currently out of work due to a torn rotator cuff and I am just trying to get her help asap. We have had a lot of financial issues the past 6 months and I wish I could do more for her. I am heartbroken to even have to ask for help.

Zeus is a 5 year old Siberian Husky in ORLANDO, FL, who needs $2,000 for Prostate Surgery and Castration.

ORLANDO, FL

We adopted Zeus 4 years ago. He arrived and completely changed our lives. He brought us love, drama, laughter, filled our lives with fur, hehe, but above all, he gave us the purest and most unconditional love we'd ever received. Since he arrived, we've always taken care of him and put him first in everything. He's a spoiled and happy dog, loves treats, and always wants to eat everyone's food, haha Zeus has always been a healthy dog, although he had previously been sick, until August 24, 2025. I saw him acting strange and I got worried. I started monitoring him and on one of his walks when he went to do #2 he started screaming and crying in pain. At that moment I confirmed that he was not well and we took him to the vet. It turns out that his prostate is extremely inflamed (giant) Zeus is a very happy, loving, dramatic, and friendly dog. He's very sociable. He wants everyone to look at him and greet him. He doesn't like being ignored. Everyone in his family loves him. They call to ask about him, come to see him daily, and buy him toys and treats that he loves. He loves to give love to everyone in the family, even our friends. He loves children; when he's with them, it's as I need any money you can donate so I can perform this surgery on my child. It's truly stressful and painful to see him in the state he's in. He's suffering, and we're suffering even more.

Sousa is a 4 month old American Shorthair in Winter Park , FL, who needs $2,000 for Uterine Catheter and Hospitalization.

Winter Park, FL

Sousa came to us as one of 3 foster kittens. I had no intent to keep any of them however Sousa came to us as a kitten who had been suckled and suddenly had urinary trouble. We had to separate him from his litter mates and that’s how we bonded. This little boy stole my heart and like that we had another cat. Sousa grew and was a normal kitten. At 3 months he suddenly had a urinary blockage. It was financially draining but we brought him home unblocked. Unfortunately he was not improving, his penis had grown abnormally due to the kitten suckling. We once again had to have emergency PU surgery and our little boy was recovering well. Unfortunately he is blocked again and we have exhausted our funds. Sousa is the sweetest cat I have ever had the pleasure to know. Especially as his mom it hurts to see him in pain. He is such a fun, sneaky and sweet little boy. He was dealt a hard hand in life but he deserves a happy and healthy life. He enjoys watching tv, especially Wii baseball. He also loves music and will sit in my lap anytime i play instruments or sing. Hence John Phillip Sousa namesake. Unfortunately I am a school teacher, my husband let go and unable to find employment. We have also taken on caring for my little sister. We have exhausted all areas of funding and I am not approved for any Care Credit loans at this time. My little boy needs help. Thank you!

Jasper is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Orlando , FL, who needs $2,000 for PU Surgery.

Orlando, FL

My fur baby was brought into my life by accident. I went to the shelter to adopt a dog and I ended up looking in the cat area. I saw a little kitten asleep in the back of the litter. I picked him up, they actually thought he was a girl. I explained he looked like a boy. Sure enough he was, he cuddled with me. I adopted him and he has been my baby for five years. He has always had chronic UTIs, I sank thousands in treatment. Recently he has experienced two blockages in a six month period. He has been elected to have the PU surgery that will give him a quality life. He is young and full of love, u want him to meet my kids one day. He is such a loving baby, he gives me kisses and hugs. I have cuddled with him many nights. He needs me and I need him. My friends and family love him, they call him Jazzy and he gets so excited. My dad got sick and I had to quit my job to move back with him. I have only worked part time and I am in my last semester of college. Funds are tight and my credit tanked from younger mistakes and trying to keep a float.

Smokey is a 2 year old French Bulldog in Altamonte springs, FL, who needs $2,000 for Back Surgery/IVDD.

Altamonte springs, FL

Smokey came to us as a pup of a year old. We moved to Florida from New Jersey in November of 2023. Here he thrived. We are in a situation where we rent a room from a friend that also has a dog. They don't get along however, so he hangs out with us and his brother that's 7 years old. We went to Oviedo Veterinary Emergency hospital and were told he needs back surgery. He often, even with our best efforts to stop him, would run to our bedroom door to bark at the dog on the other side of the door. This time was no different, he jumped off the bed and attacked the door. And we immediately knew he was in pain. He needs help, he is losing function in his two back legs. Smokey is an energetic, very loving dog. Wherever there are people is where he always wants to be. He used to follow us all over the house and lay down in uncomfortable places just to hang out with us. His energy has always been unmatched. His love was so felt and unconditional, even now while he is in pain. He is our baby. My boyfriend lost his job back in October. It has been a rough transition from a barely-making it- 2 income household to purely a one income household. We have rent, we have bills. We desperately need help. We are doing everything we can to give him another shot.

I have had lucky since I was eight years old. She has been with me ever since and has always been such a help in any life goal. Her name fits her perfectly because of different instances she had to live through such as being stolen from our backyard when I was in 5th grade and still was able to find her way back to us with the help of the right people and always fighting for her. She is the sweetest, most loyal dog. She is always being protective whenever she senses danger. She has always been by my side. She loves to cuddle and lay with you. She was born with a little smile. Always a happy dog. She loves to be pet and will never miss a chance to sit by your side. She also likes to walk around with me and will even do tricks for treats. One of her favorites is standing up and dancing for a treat. she was walking and seemed alright 2/9 but Saturday she seemed a little off because we were working on packing for vacation ik she senses when we are leaving or like last year moving but we were leaving 2/11-2/16 staying at home with my other dog and they had pet sitters that would come in during the day I was told by the pet sitter that she wasn’t eating too much and not moving around. Not ok Came home not okay at all she has been fighting but she has a tumor on her belly it is working on affecting all her body I am working extra to try to help her but after coming from vacation and spending extra on pet sitters i dont have what i need for surgery

Leo is a 7-month-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Port Saint Lucie, FL, who needs $2,000 for Colopexy.

Port Saint Lucie, FL

Leo was given to us from a friend who’s personal cat had kittens, currently Leo is a inside cat, very playful and energetic with his toys, loves to cuddle and sleep next to the people he loves. Leo is very interactive with any and everyone he comes into contact with. We’ve never had any issues with him being unfriendly…I don’t remember a time ever hearing him hiss all I hear is him purring with comfort all day. Leo is special because he invites everyone in with his friendly nature, his presence completes the home, and he never fails to support us emotionally and bring us up whenever we feel down. Leo has been experiencing reoccurring rectal prolapses the past 6 weeks, the doctor has informed us that a Colopexy surgery is necessary in order for him to be treated properly. We’ve tried suturing him back multiple times but prolapsed again and again each time. We’ve paid up to 3400$ in bills to help heal Leo, and they’ve given me a invoice for a 2000$ surgery that I just can not afford, I’ve exhausted all funds and resources and I need as much help as I can get…if you can please help..please do….the matter is time sensitive….

Deltona, FL

Tobi is a one year old dachshund. He came into the clinic I work at with a foreign body. Tobi had 2 foreign body surgeries within a 3 week time period. After his 2nd surgery- Tobis internal sutures went septic, and his original owners could not afford a third surgery for tobi. This young puppy is so full of love, and he still has a long life to live, so he was surrendered over to me. Tobi is a huge social butterfly. He’s attached to me at the hip and never leaves my side. We go everywhere and do everything today. He’s my best friend, and my literal companion. I couldn’t imagine my life without Tobi in it. He came to me in a time of need, and has brought me so much joy to my life. I have been forever grateful, to save his life. Tobi absolutely adores his toys. He loves playing fetch ( he could play for hours ) I foster kittens regularly and he is always a father figure to the baby kittens I foster. He sleeps on his back, and in these wonky goofy positions that just crack me up. Tobi is being cared for at oviedo veterinary care and emergency. After his second foreign body surgery - his internal sutures went septic. Which is fatal- and his owners could not afford a 3rd surgery. Tobi will need drains placed, and he will need to be hospitalized for 5-7 days to save his life and get the exceptional care he needs. Tobis surgery is costly. But I could not find it in my heart to euthanize this young, loving puppy. Saving Tobis life, has meant the entire world to me. He brings joy to every person he meets. Tobi deserves to have the chance at loving a long and healthy life

Oreo, a sweet puppy farm rescue; climbed into my sons arms and right into his heart. And just like his boy? Oreo is very sassy, mischievous and absolutely adorable. He is the final glue piece to our home Oreo has a boy, Zaidyn. Whom he loves very much, and Zaidyn loves him back. He is also a mamas boy and is attached to my hip when his boy isn’t (and sometimes is) home. He’s very playful, smart (i taught him sit, both paw shakes, lay down) by the time he was 7 months old. However; he’s not the brightest when it comes to getting into things he shouldn’t be… He loves fetch, jumping high for any toys. He’s a spoiled boy who gets all the good boy treats! When he doesn’t get his way; he coos like Chewbacca… lol he keeps us laughing by just looking at us. He’s verrrrry cute; especially when he wants out of his crate? He puts his mouth on the door and his teeth show like he’s trying to woo us by smiling lol Like i said; Oreo doesn’t always know better when he gets into things… he got into the trash into.. well. Some used tampons… i feel awful… he ate them.. and now he’s blocked up. He’s at Oviedo veterinary care and emergency. I don’t know the treating vet because it’s an emergency 24 hour care. The bill is climbing higher and higher. I can’t afford any of this. We can’t. Even family pulling together we only have half of what’s needed. My boy went to sleep crying tonight. We were looking for a pet for our family and we saw the page Adore Pet Rescue. That's where we saw Smoke for the first time. He was the smallest one from his family and now he is just huge and amazing. We love him so so mcuh. He is the best puppy we adopted him when he was just 2 months and as soon as he got home the energy changed for the better. He is super sweet and kind, he loves y rubs and thinks he's still a baby. He's always on my lap when I sit down and loves when visitors come. He loves his grandparents and my son. He enjoys walking outside and saying hi to my neighbors and to other dogs. He just makes us all smile. He loves playing outside. He is the best puppy in the world he makes our family whole and loosing him is just horrible. My dog makes my life better, stress free and he is just good. He still needs to master playing catch and getting his ball back to us. He still stays with it and not share it but wants you to throw it anyway. He ingested a piece of plastic that is now destroying his insides. As a puppy they tend to do this. This is the first time it has happened and the cost of the surgery is big. They have to on him up and do a resection. He also needs to stay in the hospital at least 3 days and all that brings this it to a total of $5,522.50 I'm just a public school teacher, and I can't afford the surgery. I really want to save my puppy's life and I understand the high costs of medicine and I also understand the need to be ready for this sort of thing.

Daisy is a rescue dog. Daisy was rescued in 2016. When I first adopted Daisy, everyone told me what a stubborn dog she was and how she could never be trained to trust someone. When Daisy came into my life at first she had this wall over her but then the more love I introduced, the more affectionate she became. She soon graduated from service dog training and she is the dog everyone wants to pet Daisy loves other dogs, kids and people in general. In my family there are 5 other dogs. Daisy loves spending time with the family on the holidays and enjoys going over for sleep overs. Every weekend she goes over to spend time with her dog mates and spend some time with my siblings. She has never bitten anyone, just love. I currently was laid off from my employer because not enough payroll. If my pet is healthy I would be so happy as no amount of money could ever replace her. Daisy is my service dog, my friend but most of all my everyday. Seeing her happy and comfortable is my goal as a owner On July 28th, she was diagnosed with bone cancer and it is rapidly spreading. Daisy right hind leg will be amputated to remove the bone cancer as well as her torn knee. Although bone cancer in the leg may be found common, it can also spread quickly. Daisy is currently being treated at the 24/7 Oviedo Animal Clinic by Dr. Lawrence. She is being cared for so well that I would like to stay with them. Daisy is a talker. She honestly tells you how she feels by vocalizing it. She loves to play hide and seek and does it soo soo well. Daisy is also great at determining feelings. She uses her body language to signal someone that a person is not feeling well. She also comforts very well. She is the dog that will stay with you until you feel better.
