Suni
Help Suni Get the Training She Needs for a Second Chance
Fort Lauderdale, FL • Operation Liberation
When Suni, a 10-month-old Belgian Shepherd mix, first came to Operation Liberation, we knew she was special. Sadly, her original owner abandoned her, leaving her confused and in need of stability. One of our wonderful fosters stepped up to give Suni a chance—but it quickly became clear just how much help this young, energetic pup needed. Suni is a true “working breed” dog—smart, athletic, and bursting with energy. Unfortunately, her drive quickly turned into frustration when she wasn’t given the mental and physical stimulation she craved. Despite hours of running and exercise each day, Suni began screaming from boredom and even bit her foster and her foster’s tolerant dog. We knew Suni needed more than we could provide in a foster home. To give her the best shot at adoption and a happy future, Operation Liberation has enrolled her in a highly respected board-and-train program. This intensive training will teach Suni structure, self-control, and the skills she needs to thrive in a forever home. The cost is significant—$4,500 for the first 3 weeks of training—but we believe Suni deserves this chance. After her initial training, her progress will be reassessed with her trainer so we can continue setting her up for success. Review 11/28/25 We’re thrilled to share that Suni is doing incredibly well in her board-and-train program! This smart, high-energy Belgian Shepherd mix is finally getting the structure and stimulation she’s been craving, and her trainers say she’s thriving. Thanks to this program, Suni now has a much better chance of finding the right forever home—one with someone experienced with working-breed dogs who can give her the mental and physical engagement she needs. We’re so proud of her progress, but we still need help covering the cost of her training. Your support will ensure Suni finishes the program strong and steps into her new life fully prepared. Thank you for believing in her!

Madeline
Her Human Is Gone. Her Mouth Is in Pain. But Madeline's Heart Still Hopes.
Fort Lauderdale, FL • Operation Liberation
Meet Madeline — a gentle, soulful senior cat whose golden years took a heartbreaking turn. After her beloved human passed away, Madeline was left alone in the world. Confused and grieving, she found herself without the home and comfort she once knew. That’s when Operation Liberation stepped in — to make sure her story didn’t end in sadness. Operation Liberation recently took Madeline to the vet for what they hoped would be a routine senior check-up and dental exam, but what they discovered broke their hearts. She was suffering from such severe dental disease that she needed a full mouth extraction — every single tooth had to be removed to relieve the constant pain she had likely been enduring in silence. They're also waiting on the results of her senior panel to check for any age-related health concerns. On top of that, Madeline has started having trouble using the litter box, which may point to a urinary issue. Unfortunately, she was so scared during her vet visit that she urinated in her carrier, so the vet team wasn’t able to collect a sample for testing that day. She may have lost her home, but she hasn’t lost her spark. Madeline still seeks out a gentle hand, a warm place to rest, and someone to love her — and we believe she deserves all of that and more. Please give what you can to help Madeline find peace in her senior years.

Bucko
Bucko is a 3 year old Shepherd Mix in Fort Lauderdale , FL, who needs $2,000 for Leg Surgery.
Fort Lauderdale, FL • Operation Liberation
Bucko was found limping after being hit by a car and was brought to the local county shelter. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was placed on the euthanasia list. A plea was placed to local rescues to pull Bucko from the county shelter. Operation Liberation knew they had to help Bucko. After picking him up, Operation Liberation immediately took him Pet Surgery Center for care. Not only was he covered in dirt and fleas, but x-rays revealed a badly broken humerus. In order to fix his leg, Bucko required a long, complex surgery. He is currently in a cast and will need frequent follow up exams to make sure it is healing properly. Despite being in excruciating pain and probably living most of his life outside, Bucko is a sweet, loving dog. His tail never stops wagging and he loves meeting new people. Operation Liberation is dedicated to helping animals that have no other options and provide them with the care they need to live happy, healthy lives. They are determined to give animals like Bucko a second chance. Please consider donating!
