Cookie came into our life when I went to a church picnic and one of the ladies had a puppy in her purse. She said that somebody was selling puppies and this dog was left behind and someone picked it up and so she couldn't keep it. I fell in love with her so I brought her home. My daughter came came into the living room and said what's that she goes. Is that a puppy? I said yeah is that our puppy y Cookies had had a lot of medical issues. You see a picture of her as a pup with hair but lost most of it due to allergies. Her other other issues, we've been able to manage. But, she is in destress and we went to the emergency vet. She had tests and an X-ray. They suspect an obstruction but couldn't conclusively see anything due to gas and liquids. The costs was at my limit and it looks surgery When cookie came into our lives my daughter's elderly dog Fiona passed away. Cookie's become comfort become important to her, me and our other dog, Ada. She is just an adorable, weird looking dog that we can't image having to let her go! Our family has had some other major expenses that have created a strain on the finances. The emergency vet was double of what I thought it would be and added debit. I'm a teacher in Ca. where teaching jobs are in danger for next year.

Milo was adopted because my previous service dog was elderly and very ill because of birth defects. Without transferring him to a specialist we were told that he will deteriorate fast and we can't lose him. Bonbon is the most trouble maker cat you would probably ever meet. That boy just loves to eat and play. His play buddy being his brother because all our older cats don't really like to play. He has the biggest personality you would ever see in a cat and the sassiest animal to ever live but we love him. Especially my dad. My dad loves this cat so much and it hurts seeing him cry over this situation My family has never been the wealthiest with money but we are wealthy in love. Our pets mean the absolute world to us. Another part is the fact that the vet that he is currently at cannot take payments and we cannot afford it all upfront.

She’s always so playful and active and brings our 4 small children SO much joy. She loves to give kisses and cuddle! I unexpectedly lost my job and funds have been really tight with being on unemployment. My wife was in the hospital up until 2 weeks ago for almost 2 months and the medical bills are becoming unbearable for that alone. We lost our car, almost lost our home, and more.

But something told me to go look at them, and when I went I saw this beautiful little orange tabby, Bubbles:) <3 It was like a instant connection you know, something that doesn’t even have to be forced onto anybody they all just fell in love with him, my babies are 1 & 3 and they waddle around the house looking for their kitten saying MEOW MEOW kitteeee lol I just can’t see my life without Bubbles and he’s only been with us for a week so far, I don’t want to lose him it’ll just break my heart and my babies Our sweet crazy little Bubbles as we call him loves to do his zoomies around the house he likes when the kids chase him it gets him all riled up and veering back and forth it’s so funny to watch he’s a very curious little baby and that is what got him into trouble he is sweet and nurturing and loves my babies comes to lay with them and kiss them on the forehead and cuddles us at nighttime He needs medical attention I need to bring him to a veterinarian hospital and have them perform X-rays on his jaw or his Mandible to make sure it isn’t fractured or broken but I’m pretty sure it is because his jaw moves when you touch it and he is in obvious discomfort and pain he needs medicine for his pain and the swelling I do not have a job I am a stay at home mother of 2 children and my husband is always away at work but he is unable to pay for this kitten’s medical bills because he has alot of bills himself and it just isn’t enough to support this poor kitten

This is her third day of confinement at 2 hospitals. Cyndi is so sweet, she is the timid one of the group but was energetic & playful until she was ill. She loves to spend time with her litter & parents & loves her squeaky pink bone. Our 19 year old son sneaks her into his room to watch the game & we wouldn’t notice as she stays quiet watching. She can be around you unnoticed. So fine. Cyndi’s look melts our hearts, she is the sweetest. So timid but is hyper with her litter & parents. She has a favorite toy she sleeps with and chews on. Unlike her sibling, she is finesse like a princess, loves to lie under the sun and roll about. She brings so much joy to our family. She used to look a lot like her dad but now shows off some Husky features. The cutest ever. This is the third day of confinement, she is fed thru tubes as she does not have the appetite yet. Her vitals are stable but still lethargic. She suffers from Diarrhea but good thing she does not vomit. We are a family of 6 and my wife & I just have enough for our basic needs and our now 5 dogs as one just passed. We love our fur babies as they are part of our family. It would mean the world to us to save Cyndi and it will help us go back to our normal healthy life also

Brown came into my life as a gift. I have been lonely for as long as I can remember. He’s my best friend and my only companion. I am disabled and can no longer work I am currently living with my sister but will hardly ever be home so I am not a burden. Brown is my only friend he came into my life as a gift. I never knew how much fulfillment a pet can give someone I am Browns best friend. Sometimes he thinks he’s the one that needs the cuddles but in reality it’s me who needs them. Brown has the silliest character and is a very well behaved boy. Brown holds a very special place in my heart. I never want to lose him. He thinks he needs me but I’m reality I need him. He is loyal, friendly, silly and vocal. I miss him being him. Now he’s so sick Brown makes the silliest faces and brightens up my whole world. He is a great listener and loves to cuddle. Brown has the biggest ears he raises his right ear and jumps away. He’s like my rabbit and dog all at once. He is the sweetest boy brown loves to run in the grass and sit outside with me as we watch the sunset together every day. Unfortunately, he got really sick and this is my last plea for help. I am writing this with tears in my eyes as my dog has been diagnosed with parvo. Time is crucial in these situations but I have faith in god. I took him to an emergency vet where he was diagnosed. I went to Solano Napa Pet Emergency. Sadly with no income. I was sent back home with my dog. I am disabled with no other source of income nor am I capable of working. I can barely make ends meet and I can not afford to save my dog. Parvo is a deadly virus and I need veterinary care. I plea to anyone that can help and share my story to please do so. God bless

When another dog attacked Koba, his struggling family sprang into action to ensure he got the care he needed. "He was losing so much blood, we were afraid of what had happened, and we rushed to the pet hospital," Tina C., Koba's human mom, tells Waggle. X-rays revealed the other dog's teeth punctured Koba's trachea, and he needed surgery to fix it, stat. Solano Napa Pet Emergency Clinic was ready to help. "Before surgery, they let me sit and hold Koba. I was devastated and scared," Tina says. Koba made it through the operation. He now has a drain in his neck and needs continuing care. His medical bills are adding up, and that's panicking Tina. She has been financially devasted by natural disasters and COVID-19. Tina works for a woman-owned business that helped keep the community fed when wildfires ravaged the area. "The small catering company was quick to respond and provide meals for displaced families who were victims of the fires," Tina adds. "Then the catering van was broken into, lit on fire, and destroyed, but they continued to deliver much-needed meals to fire victims." When the pandemic hit, the catering business suffered another financial setback--- all their events, like weddings, fundraisers, and parties, were canceled. Tina's husband is a Petty Officer First Class for the Navy. "We live on a fixed income, my husband is retired, and I work a part-time job. I didn’t even think of the cost when we took Koba to the hospital. I just wanted him to be healthy again," Tina says. Koba's family has given so much to the community, now they hope the Waggle community will help Koba during these difficult times.
