Kaneki is a loving, fun, and full of energy. Our house went from having four fur babies to two. Kaneki brings so much happiness and love to our life, he’s always cheerful and ready to play. It breaks my heart to see him in pain and unable to enjoy life. His brother Bowser is always by his side providing comfort and support. I too can see his suffering of seeing his brother in such a painful state. His energy was impacted by the torn of his PTLO. He’s vet visit is only the beginning of a healing journey. Although his currently under pain medication I can see the tears coming down from his eyes expressing the pain he feels. Surgery was recommended right away to avoid any future damage to his leg. The vet visit for his diagnosis was $2,500 and surgery is around $5,000. Kaneki loves the rain, when it’s raining he likes to sit by the porch and watch the rain fall. He loves playing with his big brother Bowser a frenchie who weighs only 30 lbs. He loves babies he might think he’s one. He enjoys eating fruit! Blueberries and bananas are his favorite! He also loves crunchy toys that he can make sounds with. Kaneki loves to talk with the family, he loves to gossip! Unfortunately, we never thought this would happen. It was of a sudden moment that he collapsed and noticed his injured leg. Because we never expected for this to happen we weren’t prepared with the cost. I’m a full-time student with very little income.
Gigi
Gigi is a 14 year old Jack Russell Terrier in Cardiff by the sea, CA, who needs $1,600 for Reattachment of the Third Eyelid.

Gig was left behind when my sister experienced a dual brain aneurism caused from the Covid vaccine. Gigi was shuffled from place to place awaiting my sisters recovery. I traveled to Iowa in hopes of providing care for my sister when Gigi was brought back home. Once it became clear my sister would need constant medical attention Gigi and I had bonded and there was no way I could leave her. Gigi has a small cherry eye, I noticed when I kept the surrounding hair clean it would clear up. I was bathing her washing the area when Gigi pulled away and let out yelp. The wash cloth must have grabbed the hair tearing the third eyelid causing it to swell now covering most of the eye. She needs surgery to re-attach the lid via Surgipet located in Carlsbad,Ca. The 1st night Gigi & I met she was brought home by a neighbor expecting my sister to be there she sat @ the door. Around 11pm she scratched at the door so I let her out to go potty, she was sprayed by a skunk. I spent the entire night bathing her until she could open her eyes & the smell went away. She’s never left my side since. We traveled together from Iowa to Ca. Camping & bonding the entire. I’m in the middle of disputing the denial of my temp disability benefits. My son was recently diagnosed with a vascular necrosis and is scheduled for a hip replacement tomorrow. I have no transportation and have been walking 3 miles to and from the hospital with Gigi.

Lani and her sister, Zena, were rescues from Northern California. Her sister Zena lives with my in-laws and is close enough to visit. Lani's adopted sister, seen in the pictures here, is Sasha, who was a rescue from a litter found in Paris, CA. We rescued Lani originally to be a friend for Sasha, but now they're inseparable. Lani Tore her ACL/CCL while playing with Sasha. We are looking to get assistance with a CCL/ACL surgery for Lani. She injured herself playing with her sister. She has no history of injuries and we would like to be able to do this surgery so she doesn't have any future issues like compensating injuries of the other leg. The hospital we would like to use for the surgery is called SurgiPet and is a wholesale surgery center here in San Diego County Lani is a gentle giant. She was originally rescued to be paired with our other Husky, Sasha, and they are now best friends. They have bonded well and have been very sad since this injury happened. Lani is also an amazing nanny dog to our 18 month old daughter, as seen in some of the pictures. Lani loves playing with tiny little toys and is the most gentle dog in the world! My wife and I were doing okay leading up to our daughters birth. 3 months later we were both laid off. I have recently got a new job, but my wife is now full time mother and housekeeper. We do not feel good requesting donations, but at this time it's the only way to do this.

My sweet 1 year old Maltipoo named Waffle is in urgent need of complicated double knee surgery, and I'm reaching out to ask for your help. When Waffle was purchased, unfortunately, they did not disclose that she has a genetic condition called patellar luxation in both of her hind legs. Waffle was just diagnosed by the vet today, May 3rd, and the prognosis is serious. If Waffle doesn't get this surgery soon, she will be in increasing pain and her knees will continue to deteriorate, leading to permanent damage. The vet estimates the total cost of the surgery to be around $18,000 to $20,000, which is far more than I can afford on my limited budget, not including future costs. Waffle is my very first pet, and I absolutely adore her. She's the cutest, sweetest dog and brings so much joy to everyone who meets her. I don't want to lose her or have her suffer, but I just can't cover these massive medical bills on my own. I'm reaching out in the hopes that kind-hearted animal lovers like you will chip in to help get Waffle the care she desperately needs. Any amount you can contribute would make a huge difference and would be so deeply appreciated. Reggie
Reggie is a 3.5 year old Doberman Pinscher in Pasadena , CA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Knee Surgery.

I rescued Reggie from the Ventura County Animal Shelter. My Doctor at Kaiser Permanente recommended me to get a therapy dog for my medical condition. I prefer female dogs but since is so handsome and the foster family raved about him so I met him and knew it was meant to be. He’s admired every where we go! He loves to chase squirrels and gophers. He runs like a race horse and with amazing grace. Reggie fell off an Oceanside cliff chasing a gopher. VCA of Sonoma County CA took X-Rays and found that he tore his ligament in his left hind leg. The xrays cost $1300. He now needs a TPLO knee surgery that will cost $3,900. Surgipet in Carlsbad, CA is the veterinary surgeon that was recommended to me who will accept Waggle funding. We feel confident that this surgery will stabilize Reggie's knee ligament. The recovery time for this surgery is 8 weeks. Reggie loves everybody! And everybody loves Reggie! He is a hunter and fisher-dog. Loves chasing squirrels and hogging all the blankets and sleeping in the middle of the bed.Since he was abandoned on the street he has terrible separation anxiety. He loves off leash dog beaches and the forest. He’s not a barker always mellow. His tail wags when someone is st the door. In March 2023 I became disabled and my income was reduced significantly. My state benefits ended in March 2024 at the same time this accident occured. I am currently living solely on social security benefits and am unable to pay for this surgery. Reggie has been my hero throughout this past year. This surgery would give Reggie the best chance to resume his previous loves of running, fishing and hiking.
