Cita
Help Cita get Emergency Respiratory Specialist Evaluation, Diagn — New Hyde Park, NY
New Hyde Park, NY
Cita came into my life when I was living alone. She had been abandoned and was very wild and afraid of people. I started feeding her, and with love, patience, and time, she slowly learned to trust me. She chose our home, and we chose her. Today she is family, not just a pet. Cita is 11 and is having a serious respiratory emergency. She has asthma, bronchitis, kidney disease, a UTI, and has taken doxycycline. Her breathing is very fast, and her asthma medicine is not helping. X-rays and bloodwork also found a mass in her abdomen. She urgently needs a specialist. Cita became my little daughter and my closest companion. My mom loves her like her own child too. Caring for Cita also inspired us to help other animals—we feed stray cats, birds, and bunnies in our neighborhood. She taught us how much love and trust can change a life. We have already paid for exams, X-rays, bloodwork, medications, and ongoing care, but the bills keep adding up. Cita is eating very little, losing weight, and still struggling to breathe. We have reached the point where we cannot afford the respiratory specialist she urgently needs. Any help could give her a chance.

Jinx
Help Jinx get Diabetic Ketosis and Complications Treatments — Carle Place, NY
Carle Place, NY
Jinx became our baby girl 14.5 years ago after I rescued her from the Belt Parkway median. She brings endless joy to our lives. We have spent nearly $20,000 over the years to keep her safe, including a past battle with pyometra. Last month, another crisis hit. Our savings are entirely gone, but we refuse to give up on her now. Please help us bring our precious baby girl Jinx back home. Jinx is hospitalized at VCA Westbury fighting life-threatening complications from diabetes. She urgently needs intensive care, IV fluids, insulin therapy, and continuous blood sugar monitoring to stabilize. VCA provided a $10,000 estimate for this critical care. All funds go straight to the clinic to help us cross this final finish line and bring her home. Jinx is our baby girl and a true family member. Ever since I rescued her from that highway median 14.5 years ago, she has been our greatest source of comfort. Our bond is unbreakable because we saved her then, and she has saved us with her loyalty every day since. We cannot imagine life without her sweet presence, and her recovery is the only thing that matters to our family. We are turning to our community because our finances are entirely exhausted. We have already spent nearly $20,000 out of pocket to save Jinx, completely draining our savings. VCA needs another $10,000. We desperately need your help to save our baby girl.

Merci
Help Merci get Toxic Ingestion — New Hyde Park, NY
New Hyde Park, NY
Merci is an angel with whiskers! She likes to participate with whatever other pets are doing. If the dog takes a walk, she wants to go on a walk. Unfortunately, Merci wanted to have Ruffles flavored allergy medication and required lifesaving medical care. The delayed side effects of this allergy medicine ingestion has been ongoing eye issues. She needs three different eye drops 4x per day. An EKG exam for heart arrhythmia and bloodwork to check her liver, kidneys and platelets. Merci knows a lot of words and tries to “talk” to you by making different sounds…her own language. I work very hard, barely get a day off. I am low income and the medical bills are too much for me. I need to use what I make for groceries, transportation to get to my job, car repairs, hg
