Minnie

Minnie is a 5 month old German Shepherd Dog in Moscow, ID, who needs $4,200 for Orthopedic Surgery to Place 2 Pins in the Fracture.

Moscow, ID

I was made aware of Minnie’s situation from a coworker. Who said the dog was living with someone who didn’t want her and she needed a home. My girlfriend friend and I have an Australian Shepherd that we wanted to bring to meet her. When we arrived to meet Minnie it was obvious she was not being attended to as feces littered the apartment. We then decided it was right for us to take her. When we took Minnie into our care she was lethargic, scared, and couldn’t hold her weight on her hind legs. The next morning we took her to get radiographs and a check up. She was malnourished, underweight, and has a fractured femur. She has received pain meds and a splint. But we would like to pursue surgery at Washington State Veterinary Hospital or the Intermountain Pet Hospital. Estimated$4000 I met Minnie 2 days ago and this sweet puppy deserves nothing but to have the best quality of life she can get. She is an extremely intelligent and curious German Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees. She shows signs of aggression from mistreatment but I know she just needs to be given time to rebuild trust in humans. My girlfriend and I live together in an apartment with our 1 year old Australian Shepherd. We took Minnie in because we want her to be apart of our family but we were not ready to be covering a fractured femur. We will need assistance on the majority of the cost

Roxy

Roxy is a 9 Year Old Siberian Husky in Hoodsport, WA, Who Needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Hoodsport, WA

Roxy has been in my life since she was a young puppy and I rescued her from an abusive home. I may have rescued her, but she saved me and has made my life better every single day since. Roxy is my best friend and I will do whatever it takes for her to always have the best quality of life possible. About tree years ago Roxy had to have this same surgery on her back left leg and she was the absolute poster child for the recovery. She was back to her normal self in just a few months of hard core physical therapy at home. Now that we have to do the same surgery on the right leg, I am asking for help financially because I am still recovering from the last bill. Roxy is friendly with everyone she meets, but she is especially loving and connected to those who she considers to be in her 'Pack'. Anyone from my family members and friends to people she meets on adventures. Once you are in Roxy's Pack she will be your best friend forever. She has that Collie quality where on adventures she will always keep count of who is with us and wont let anyone get lost. I am currently balancing paying off debt and saving money to put myself through massage school. I'm doing my best to acquire funds for surgery and will continue to do everything I can because I know that Roxy will benefit greatly any enjoy many more years of adventure.

Branson

Branson is a 5 year old West Highland White Terrier in Ellensburg, WA, who needs $2,000 for Total Ear Canal Ablation & Bulla Osteotomy.

Ellensburg, WA

We adopted Branson, a West Highland White Terrier, in June 2020 after he was returned to his breeder for having a malformed ear. We wanted our Cairn Terrier Miss Patmore, to have a companion, and we had extra love to give. Since joining our family, Branson has brought endless joy and courage despite the challenges he’s faced. Branson was born with a congenital defect in his right ear canal, leading to years of infections and pain. After exhausting medical treatments, WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital recommended a Total Ear Canal Ablation and Bulla Osteotomy. This major surgery is necessary to end his discomfort and finally give him a healthy, pain-free life. Branson is gentle, loyal, and full of personality. He loves our Cairn Terrier, daily walks, and curling up beside us on the couch. He “talks” in little grumbles when excited and chases snowflakes like a puppy. Despite his constant ear pain, he greets everyone with tail wags and trust. His strength and sweetness have made him the heart of our home. We’ve covered over $16,000 in Branson’s medical costs since 2020, including surgery, allergy treatment, and ongoing medication. As small business owners, we’ve faced slower months and rising expenses. This help would ease the financial strain and let Branson live the healthy

Freya

Freya is a 7 month old Papillon in Port Angeles, WA, who needs $2,000 for Orthopedic Evaluation and Surgical Repair.

Port Angeles, WA

Freya was born and raised here in our home. She was injured at just 4 months old during a freak slip accident. We have been trying our best to provide her the absolutely best chance at recovery. A recent referral to an orthopedic specialist at WSU has placed us in a financial situation and we are trying our best to make it happen for her. In December of 2024 Freya fractured her radius and ulna in her left leg. Due to limited local specialists, unavailability due to the holiday, finances, and weather, we didn't have many options for her immediate care. We have had a few rough moments along the way. We have recently recieved a second opinion and a referral to WSU Veterinary hospital sports & ortho surgery team. Freya is constant joy and love to my family. She is incredibly sweet, spicy, and amazing butterfly girl. Despite her difficult injury and journey at such a young age, she doesn't let it get the best of her. She is every bit an energetic crazy puppy. She has recently shown interest in scent training, giving alerts to my blood sugar levels over 165 and under 75 with amazing consistency. Previous surgical expenses over 13k, driving over 100 miles each week for post surgical care, additional care items needed at home, time lost from work. All have created a huge financial strain on our family. We are trying our best to give Freya a future and save her leg

Baloo

Baloo is a 1 year old Balinese in Spokane, WA, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Repair of a PPDH.

Spokane, WA

Baloo, my emotional support cat, came into my life as a rescue nearly a year ago when I found him as a kitten in Spokane. He quickly became an essential part of my life, offering comfort and joy through his affectionate and playful nature. Baloo shares his home with Oso, my first cat and Baloo’s inseparable companion. The two are always together, whether sneaking off on adventures or cuddling up Baloo, my emotional support cat, was diagnosed with peritoneal-pericardial diaphragmatic hernia, a rare congenital condition where his organs have shifted into his chest, causing severe discomfort and putting his heart and lungs at risk. This is an emergency situation requiring surgery at the Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. I’m seeking help to ensure he gets the best care Baloo is incredibly special because of his affectionate, playful nature and the comfort he brings to my life as my emotional support cat. He greets everyone with headbutts and purrs, warming hearts instantly. With his inseparable companion, Oso, they’re always adventuring together or snuggling side by side. Baloo’s goofy antics and gentle soul have made him an irreplaceable part of my family. As a college student, my financial situation is already tight, and Baloo’s sudden medical emergency is an overwhelming expense I simply can’t afford on my own. The surgery costs between $8,000 and $11,000, which is impossible for me to cover without help. Having Baloo health

Juno

Juno is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Klickitat, WA, who needs $2,000 for Total Ear Canal Ablation.

Klickitat, WA

I adopted Juno from a shelter in Vancouver, WA on October 27th, 2021. She had been chucked out of a moving vehicle and luckily seen right away by a good Samaritan, who took her in. Juno currently shares her home with me, her little kitty sister Arya, and brother/archnemewsis Sammy. Juno was adopted three years with a raging ear infection, which I treated right away. Then, the ear infection came back. Then, in March, we discovered why: there's a mass in her right ear., and it's cancerous. Now, we are going to Washington State University's vet school to get a total ear canal ablation, a "TECA," which has a high success rate and could give Juno a healthy, normal life. My favorite thing about Juno is how much she loves--LOVES--bedtime. Ever since I got her, she gets so excited and comes running in from across the house to cuddle up at bedtime. Juno also never, ever gets tired of being petted and will grab your hand/arm to keep you petting her. Juno is so sweet, she purrs before you even get to her. She loves all kitty treats and sitting by a sunny open window. Juno's bill is estimated to be between $4k and 5k. I have been able to come up with almost $3k but am coming up short. Juno's only 5, and this procedure could give her a healthy rest of her life, meaning another 15 years of happy bedtimes, treats, and snuggles.

Nema

Nema is a 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Pullman, WA, who needs $1,176 for Bite Wound Surgery and Medications.

Pullman, WA

Nema has been with me majority of her life. I got her at 9 months old from a family member in California. She lives with my other dog Bjorn who is her blood nephew. Unfortunately Nema and my other dog have to be separated permanently. Their last encounters ended horribly for Nema, whom starts the altercation. She ended up with lots of bite wounds and a complete tear under her left arm put. Which resulted in high vet bills. She received care at Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Although she may not get a long with other dogs. She loves her people and any person for that matter that comes into her life. Nema is probably the most affectionate dog I know. And there’s never a time where she isn’t pressed up against me on the sofa or laying on my lap. Unfortunately for my husband and I our incomes are pretty fixed. And we just don’t have the extra money for something unexpected like this come up and happen.

Bux

Bux is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Missoula, MT, who needs $2,000 for Cardiac Stenting for Pulmonic Stenosis.

Missoula, MT

Bux is 1 and a half years old. He came into our life when we had a one year old and we hoped he could teach my young daughter how to love animals, how to show kindness, and how show compassion for others. Bux was diagnosed when he was 3 three months old with pulmonic stenosis. We first noticed something was wrong when we took him to puppy class and he was so excited to see everyone he collapsed. We did one procedure already to try to help him, but it didn’t last and now needs a more invasive, and more expensive procedure. Bux is our little love bug. He is silly, he is playful, he is loving, he is gentle and possesses the best kind of qualities a dog owner would want. He loves my 2 year old daughter and she loves to play with him and snuggle him like her “baby”. We paid for Bux to have a procedure already, which unfortunately didn’t hold long enough to make an impact on his overall long term health. This procedure is more invasive, more involved and has a price tag to match of anywhere from $4,000 to $9,000.
