Chip is a good-natured, eager-to-please 2-year-old Pit Mix who made his way to us from Louisiana through A Pathway to Hope's partnership with the Good Flights program, a division of Greater Good Charities. Chip’s life didn’t start out easy. He was found on someone’s doorstep, barely moving, with his skin raw and painful from severe demodex mange. Thankfully, help came just in time. During his recovery, it was also discovered that Chip is deaf. Because Chip can’t hear, it can take him a little extra time to fully trust someone new. But give him that time, and you’ll be rewarded with a total lovebug who forms incredibly special bonds with his people. A Pathway to Hope is asking for help to cover Chip's medical bills and specialized hearing care. No amount is too small to make sure this sweet boy gets the best care possible. Thank you!

When Shona was rescued by Baw Baw Animal Welfare, she was fighting for her life. This local stray girl had been hit by a vehicle and left with devastating injuries. She struggled to breathe, had severe wounds to both of her back legs, and had already lost part of one foot. On top of her traumatic injuries, Shona was suffering from parasites, painful skin problems, and signs that her body was battling a serious infection. Shona was immediately given the one thing she really needed: a chance. Her veterinary team acted immediately, providing emergency treatment, medication, fluids, and around-the-clock care to stabilize her. She continues to need intensive treatment and careful monitoring as they work to control her infections, help her wounds heal, and give her the best possible chance at recovery. The cost of saving a dog with injuries this severe adds up quickly, and Baw Baw Animal Welfare cannot do it alone. Tilly is my heart and soul, a sweet, resilient 5-year-old mixed-breed girl I rescued from a shelter in SC. Her litter was heartbreakingly abandoned in a box on the side of the road, left to fend for themselves until the shelter owner found them. From the moment I brought her home, she’s been my constant companion, full of love, joy, and those silly moments that get me through tough days Tilly desperately needs TPLO surgery on her back left leg for a torn CCL. Surgery is scheduled for July 10th. Without it, she will gradually lose the use of that leg entirely, and it often leads to the same problem in the other leg, which could leave her completely unable to walk. As someone who knows what it’s like to live with pain and mobility challenges, I can’t bear to watch her suffer. Tilly is the biggest sweetheart. A sweet, loving, calm, and friendly five-year-old mixed breed rescue. She’s wonderful with people of all ages, including children, and gets along beautiful with other dogs. Her gentle, affectionate nature, lights up every day and make sure the perfect companion through life’s ups and downs. I’ve been dealing with serious injuries from a work accident that left me partially disabled. I can no longer do my trained job & am searching for new work while struggling to make ends meet. Tilly’s surgery has hit at the worst financial time, but I refuse to let her down.

Sorrel, my 6-year-old black cat, is not just a pet — she is family. Despite her own health battles, she has been an absolute angel throughout it all. Animals are truly selfless, and Sorrel proves that every single day. My mother is a cancer patient who recently underwent CAR-T treatment, and during this difficult journey, Sorrel never left her side. You would forget that Sorrel is a patient herself. She has provided a level of comfort, companionship, and emotional support that goes far beyond words. She has been a constant source of calm and love for both of us. Any donation will allow Sorrel to receive the care she needs, ideally the definitive care: radiation. It would also give our family a sense of more health security during an incredibly heavy time. I got Yuki by coincidence my next door neighbor had kittens and I was taking out the trash when she was outside and I got to meet him! After talking with my loved ones we decided to adopt him the next day, it was so amazing and truly heartwarming to meet him at only 7 weeks old. Back then he was so tiny and I could tell the world was his too explore. He got his shots and was neutered at six months Yuki has always has GI issues since we got him. Occasionally getting diarrhea to which I spoke to veterinarians and it always went away on its own. But for the past two weeks suddenly he would only eat half of his food and by 01/06/2026. He stopped eating all together we went to the Lebanon Veterinary Hospital in CT. he still wasn’t eating so he stayed over night into the 9th. Yuki has a favorite beanie baby I found that looks just like him same white paws and all! He is very attached to Baby our black cat. Compared to Baby he is very cuddly and likes to be held, along side being crazy for treats and pate which is why we noticed immediately something was wrong. As of right now I work part time at a grocery store and has just gotten a per diem job to try and make ends meet. His treatment bill was over $1200, I had to ask my family for help in paying it and Beacuse of that I have no money and am using my SNAP for food, any funds help

Radar

Radar is a 2 year old German Shepherd Dog in Raywick, KY, who needs $2,000 for Broken Legs.

Radar was found under a bridge right before my mom's driveway. He was bloody and abandoned and his tail had been cut off. He was so scared it took my son and mom several hours just to get him to come out. He has been loved every since that day. My dad who passed this summer tragically to an overdose fl in love with him and gave him his name "Radar" which reflects how good of a guard he is. 2 weeks ago today Radar was hit by someone and It's left him immobile, In excruciating pain, and under around the clock care for even the simplest of tasks. It broke 2 of his legs in several places and he needs surgery immediately. We are losing valuable time. He may lose 1, if not BOTH of his legs. Euthanasia is recommended if financial restraints continue to prevent surgery. Radar was my dad's dog. Tragically this summer we lost him to an overdose. To lost Radar too would be heartbreaking. He's a vibrant, energetic, sweet dog with the kindest eyes. He loves everyone he meets, especially those who like giving a good head rub or bring snacks. Jude is a 7-year-old American Bulldog/Mastiff mix. We adopted him from a shelter at age 2 after he was rescued from a dog hoarding situation. He lives indoors in a loving home and is my emotional support animal. We have one other dog who only trusts him, and they are very bonded. Jude is gentle, well-trained, and loved by everyone. Jude dislocated his hip a few weeks ago. A closed reduction was attempted but failed due to soft tissue damage. His hip has remained dislocated while we waited for surgical implants. He now needs surgery to walk and live without pain. He is being treated at Susitna Animal Urgent Care. Jude is gentle, calm, and loves everyone—kids, cats, and adults alike. He’s a certified emotional support animal and has passed advanced training. Children at the park give him treats and he happily does tricks for them. At home he is loving and patient, and he is the only dog our other rescue trusts. We’ve already spent over $3,000 and maxed out CareCredit trying to help Jude. I can’t afford the surgery he needs to be pain-free. It would mean everything to keep him with us, happy and healthy, instead of facing pain or losing him because of money.

We bought her from a friend when she was 5 weeks and 6 days old yes there are 5 other animals 3 dogs and 2 cats plus Luna which would make 6 she lives in a safe and warm home We aren’t entirely sure her nose is swelling and it’s spread to her eye there is snot build up which is keeping her from breathing properly we think that it’s a allergic reaction bc we are in a home with two cats and it started when we moved into the house we are looking for a solution to bring the swelling down and her breathing under control we have not taken her to any hospital Her favorite person is my dad. She likes chewing bones, and to play fetch. she loves running outside and she loves! playing in the water. she loves being in your space and she’s definitely a yapper when she’s excited. Or has somthing on her mind never one to let the conversation die I had lost my job bc of mental health issues and I am trying to find a replacement job unsuccessfully. she was a gift and is the absolute light of everyone she smiles and brings joy when we are having some of our worst days and she always keeps you on your toes

She came into our lives as we found her, as a new pup, a guy whom looked to be homelss had sold her to me, I gave him $100 dollars for her, she was a gift for our Grandaughter. Got her in Hawaii. We have Moku left from her -. she's been our child since 2019. The closest animal I have ever been to. I cannot imagine losing her. Pyometra is deadly. She needs to be in surgery 27 Oct. I just noticed a couple days ago that Moku was breathing heavy. I then noticed last night that she was bleeding, It was a light pink. She is listless and depressed. Very low energy. We took her to vet this afternoon at the Bishopville Animal Clinic. It cost $40 for office visit, $75 for the X-ray, and $30 for the Baytril medicine to get her ready for surgery. She was diagnosed with pyometra. I have a back injury and just over a year ago july 2024 I received a second surgery. She sleeps with me and always lays against my injury, against my spine. She was always very playful with her kitty she was raised with, Tommy a tabby cat whom came from hawaii too. She used to fetch and loved to have a toy, even a sock would do that you could pull on. She was always such a wonderful puppy. I am on SSI and can barely afford the bills I have, and to feed our pets. Everything is such a struggle, I wish I could save her. The vet said she will die if she doesn't get the surgery. She is to be operated on the 27th of Oct.
