Nyxie

Nyxie is a 1 year old Siberian Husky in Lawrenceburg , TN, who needs $2,000 for Full Hip Replacement.

Lawrenceburg, TN

Imagine a life without running, without the simple joy of a morning walk, or the exuberant play with your siblings. For Nyxie, our vibrant one-year-old Siberian husky, this is the daunting reality she faces. Just diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both hips, her right hip suffers from severe luxation, placing an unbearable strain on her left. Nyxie’s spirit is indomitable. She loves nothing more than romping around with her four siblings, her energy boundless, her love unconditional. But now, every step is a challenge, every game a painful reminder of what she's losing. We've been given a choice: a full hip replacement that offers her the chance to reclaim her joyful life, or a more limited FHO surgery. At one year old, Nyxie deserves to fun free. That's why we've chosen the full hip replacement, recommended by the amazing team at Veterinary Care and Specialty Group in Chattanooga with Dr. Peck. This surgery offers her the best chance to return to full function within months, hopefully without needing a second surgery on her other hip. The cost is daunting between $11,000 & $12,000. A mountain for a young couple starting out. That's why we're turning to you, our community of animal lovers, for help. Please open your heart and help us give Nyxie the future she deserves. Together we can make a world of difference for our sweet girl.

Bodi

Bodi is a 1 year old Vizsla in Hamburg, PA, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Gastrotomy Surgery.

Hamburg, PA

We adopted Bodi from a breeder. We already had a wirehaired Vizsla and loved the breed so much. We knew the "smooth haired vizlas" were a little crazier, but thought that we were completely prepared. While he put us through our paces we are definitely happy that we adopted him. We have two other dogs, so he defintely had the energy to keep up with everyone. We first thought Bodi had an illness and took him to our normal vet. After a few days he got sicker and sicker. Took him back to the vet and they did an Xray and found a blockage. We then took him to the Blue Pearl Emergency Vet. They did more x-rays and confirmed he needed emergency surgery. He was severly dehydrated, then during surgery they found holes in his intestines and he was septic. Bodi is the sweetest dog. His best friend was our other vizsla Moose. In March 2025, Moose had a quick and horrible illness with Lyme disease. Bodi was so sad after, he barely played with his toys or ran around outside. He was just starting to return to his normal self when he suddenly started looking sick. His two other "brothers" have been lost without him while he was at the hospital. We had a quick and horrible illness with our dog Moose less than a month before Bodi got sick. We didn't want to lose him so close to losing our other dog. He is also so young and it self wrong to cut his life short so soon. We didn't realize it would be this much.

Noel

Noel is a 10 year old Boston Terrier in Ypsilanti, , who needs $2,000 for Cushings Disease Treatment.

Ypsilanti

Noel was up for adoption a little over 10 years ago from a local breeder, she was the runt of the litter but had the biggest personality lol she’s a purebred Boston Terrier. I was married at the time of her adoption, but have since divorced. Noel and I are inseparable. For the first 5 years of her life she accompanied me to my over night security job, learning the ins and outs of patrolling. Until Recently, Noel has been in perfect health for the full 10 years of her little life. Through the Humane society of Huron Valley, Noel was just diagnosed with Cushings Disease And is required to take 10mg twice a day of a medication called Vetoryl. This medication will help Noel’s body reduce the amount of of Cortisol its now producing and is imperative to her future quality of life. Noel was the runt of the litter but she has a giant personality. lol A bit of a bully at times. Our house was the end house right before the park, she would sit in the yard and greet every person and their pet as they walked past her to enter the park. A couple with a Boston Terrier would stop and say “Can we use your park Noel” lol She has more friends than I can remember the names. At this time I am divorced and on Disability. I simply cannot afford this medication nor the large vet bill for all of these recent tests but at the same time I love my baby and I would do anything in the world to make her feel better. I just need a little help please

Bodhi

Bodhi is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Carlsbad, CA, who needs $2,000 for Splenectomy with Biopsy of Liver and Spleen.

Carlsbad, CA

Bodhi came into Kyle's life as a 2-year-old rescue dog, having lived with 3 different families before finding his forever home with us. I soon met Bodhi a year later and he made it incredibly easy to love him. He is the only dog in our household. Kyle named Bodhi after the character from Point Break, which also comes from the Buddhist term "Bodhisattva," symbolizing compassion and enlightenment. Our sweet 9-year-old Bodhi recently underwent an emergency splenectomy after veterinarians at Veterinary Emergency Group discovered a mass on his spleen that was causing internal bleeding and a rapid decline in his health. What started as subtle lethargy quickly escalated into a life-threatening situation, and we had no choice but to move forward with an urgent procedure to save his life. Bodhi is special because he greets everyone with his signature hip shake and lean, making each hello feel warm and unique. At the dog park, his excited, goofy sounds show just how much he loves being around others. But what truly makes him special is his instinct to cuddle when you need it most - offering comfort, love, and companionship in a way that only he can. This was a sudden, unexpected major expense, but for those who have met Bodhi, you know how special he is and how much he means to us. We want to keep giving him the adventures he loves - beach runs, hiking, camping - so he can continue living his happiest life by our side.

Lucy

Lucy is a 7 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Bartlett, TN, who needs $2,000 for Patella Luxation Repair 0-30 and Dental w/Extractions.

Bartlett, TN

Lucy is a 7-year-old Yorkie we found her through an online ad. Initially, she was meant to be a pet for my daughter’s now ex boyfriend’s child, but circumstances changed, and we ended up rescuing her from a home where she had experienced abuse. We soon realized that Lucy’s fear of water bottles and certain noises stemmed from her previous owner, who had abused her as a small pup. Lucy “Lou-Lou” One day, Lucy went outside to play but returned limping. A visit to the vet revealed that she has a grade 4 luxating patella. Despite the vet's efforts to reposition the patella, they were unsuccessful, meaning Lucy will need surgery. Without this procedure, she won't be able to use her leg again and may risk developing the same issue in her other leg. Lucy also needs oral surgery to despite brush Lucy hails from a big family, the second of 6 siblings, she takes on the role of the little enforcer.she may be small in stature, but she has a spicy attitude personality that keeps everyone in check. When it's time to come indoors, she ensures her siblings come in and doesn't shy away from chasing after those who ignore her. Lucy is quick to intervene during any roughhousing, and also a chatterbox I need financial assistance to help provide care for Lucy, as I am on a fixed income while also supporting my child and other dogs. This unexpected and urgent expense has created a significant financial burden for me as a single mother with limited resources.

Zeus

Zeus is a 8 year old Rottweiler in York, PA, who needs $2,000 for Elbow Reconstruction.

York, PA

We brought Zeus into our home when he was 10 weeks old. After meeting him at the pet store, we all knew he was part of the family and he came home with us that very day. We actually named him Dr. Zeus, similar to the famous author Dr. Seuss. When he was a baby my wife would put him in a baby sling and carry him around while she worked. His temperament is very chill. He’s friendly, but protective. About 3-4 months ago he injured his left front leg and could not put any weight on it at all. He would wince and yelp anytime he applied pressure to it. We monitored him closely for a few days and the pain seemed to subside. However every couple of weeks, he’s limping all over again, like he injured himself again. Now his elbow is disfigured. We need to get it checked but have no money for the vet My son and him practically have been growing up together. Zeus was born January 2nd of 2016 and my son was born December of the same year. He’s a major part in all of our lives. We’re in the process of training him to be a support/therapy dog. We want to share his uniqueness with as many people as we can. He really is an amazing dog and in this case, the phrase “man’s best friend” proves true!!! My wife and I made career changes about 9 months ago and have been working diligently to stabilize our finances. Zeus’s injury is not something we prepared for and it’s safe to say that his treatment will not be cheap. We need him healthy, just don’t have the means for it.
