Help Noodles Finally Live Pain-Free

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Meet Noodles, a sweet two-year-old Persian cat from Pennsylvania who has already overcome so much in his young life. After being rescued from the streets, Noodles found the loving family he had always deserved—but now he's facing a painful battle with severe stomatitis that is making it difficult for him to eat and live comfortably. Noodles urgently needs dental extractions and additional diagnostics, including X-rays and evaluation of a mass in his throat. His veterinary care is estimated to cost $984. Thanks to a generous $400 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, only $584 remains to give Noodles the treatment he needs to finally live without pain. Thankfully, Noodles' veterinarian is optimistic that, with dental extractions, he can make a full recovery and enjoy a happy, healthy future. When Noodles was found crying outside his family's home last November, he was frightened, covered in painful mats and ticks, suffering from worms, and desperately in need of help. After searching for his owner and finding no one to claim him, his rescuer welcomed him into her home, cleaned him up, and gave him the love and safety he had likely never known. As he settled into his new life, it became clear that his health problems ran much deeper than anyone realized. His gums are severely inflamed, several teeth are already missing, and the pain from stomatitis has made even everyday activities uncomfortable. He now needs multiple tooth extractions, dental X-rays, and evaluation of the mass in his throat so he can finally find relief. Despite everything he's endured, Noodles is an incredibly gentle, affectionate cat. He has formed a special bond with his family's two young children, happily following them from room to room and soaking up every bit of love and attention they give him. In just a few short months, he has become an irreplaceable member of their family. With three other cats and two toddlers to care for, covering these unexpected veterinary expenses has become overwhelming. Noodles' family is doing everything they can, but they can't do it alone. 💜 You can help give Noodles a pain-free future. Every tax-deductible donation, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to the dental care he urgently needs. If you're unable to donate today, sharing Noodles' fundraiser with your family and friends is another meaningful way to help. Thank you for being part of Noodles' journey from abandoned to adored. Together, we can help this resilient little cat leave his pain behind and enjoy the happy life he has always deserved.

Topaz

Topaz is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in San Antonio, TX, who needs $2,000 for Foreign Linear Body Surgical Removal.

San Antonio, TX

Topaz came to my family and I February of 2020, when she was just a few weeks old. She was following my mom around her work place, and my mom decided to call up my dad so he could bring her home. She’s a little trouble maker, but that’s what I love about her. She’s so energetic and loving, and she plays fetch! Shes the sweetest girl I could ask for. Recently, Topaz has been off. She’s slow, sluggish, hardly acknowledges me. She refuses to eat, and I have to give her water through a syringe. Taking her to BluePearl, they performed an xray and told me that she had a linear foreign body in her lower intestine, and would need surgery to remove it. Of course, I don’t have the money for surgery, so I’ve come here in hopes for help. Topaz is certainly special. She’s an orange cat, so of course she has a few screws loose. She runs for food like she’s starving, she plays fetch nonstop in the living room, she will bolt to the door if we say the word ‘outside’, despite being an indoor cat. She especially loves shoving her face into our faces whenever we are eating or she just decides she wants attention. Topaz is only 5 years old, which is too young for her to be leaving us. She’s been there for me when no one else has, and in her own, special way, makes me feel like everything will be ok. Without her, I can’t imagine where my heart and mind would be.

Zeus

Zeus is a 5 year old Siberian Husky in ORLANDO, FL, who needs $2,000 for Prostate Surgery and Castration.

ORLANDO, FL

We adopted Zeus 4 years ago. He arrived and completely changed our lives. He brought us love, drama, laughter, filled our lives with fur, hehe, but above all, he gave us the purest and most unconditional love we'd ever received. Since he arrived, we've always taken care of him and put him first in everything. He's a spoiled and happy dog, loves treats, and always wants to eat everyone's food, haha Zeus has always been a healthy dog, although he had previously been sick, until August 24, 2025. I saw him acting strange and I got worried. I started monitoring him and on one of his walks when he went to do #2 he started screaming and crying in pain. At that moment I confirmed that he was not well and we took him to the vet. It turns out that his prostate is extremely inflamed (giant) Zeus is a very happy, loving, dramatic, and friendly dog. He's very sociable. He wants everyone to look at him and greet him. He doesn't like being ignored. Everyone in his family loves him. They call to ask about him, come to see him daily, and buy him toys and treats that he loves. He loves to give love to everyone in the family, even our friends. He loves children; when he's with them, it's as I need any money you can donate so I can perform this surgery on my child. It's truly stressful and painful to see him in the state he's in. He's suffering, and we're suffering even more.

Awesome

Awesome is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Chicago, IL, who needs $2,000 for Soft Tissue Surgery / Surgical Biopsy.

Chicago, IL

I have had Awesome for about 4 years, I adopted her during COVID. When I adopted her, she was a foster living inside of a couch due to the trauma she had experienced from previous owners and other pets. In the last 4 years, she remains a bit timid when meeting new people, but has really come out of her shell and found a love for life and chicken. Since January, Awesome has become less and less like herself. In total we visited the vet upwards of 5 times and spent well over $2000 trying to figure out what was wrong. This came to a head last month when she became so sick we had to rush her to the emergency vet where they found a cauliflower size mass growing in her intestines. Awesome is literally my child. The amount of emotional support she has provided me over the years through so many hardships, I cannot imagine life without her and this time has been so incredibly difficult watching her become less and less like herself everyday. She is usually such a loud and energetic girl that brings light to my life, as well as my roommate, partner, and her bestie Allie (cat). I am a teacher on summer break. I have applied to countless jobs this summer to support my financial needs for Awesome and have found nothing. As a teacher, I don't qualify for unemployment and don't start getting paid until September. I need to get my baby help immediately.
