Stray Dog Support rescued a tiny puppy hunched over, twitching uncontrollably and seemingly giving up on the streets of Cairo, Egypt. 💔 Journey is only about three months old. When the rescue team found her, she was still lying on the street, clearly in distress and desperately needing help. The vets believe she may have been hit by a car or suffered another serious trauma. They suspect spinal shock and significant nerve damage, but they’re still working to determine the extent of her injuries. Journey was also covered in ticks and fleas and had a dangerously high fever, indicating a severe infection. Her team of vets are currently working to stabilize her and understand the full extent of her injuries. She is just a baby, and she never deserved this. But now, Journey has people fighting for her. ❤️ Please help SDS give this little girl the chance she deserves. She has a long journey ahead of her, but she deserves every ounce of love and care. Help Teres Take His Next Steps

Teres is only four years old, but right now, this sweet boy is facing an incredibly painful injury and needs help getting back on his feet. Teres was brought to Vetcare Animal Hospital with a severe open fracture to his right back leg. The bone is completely broken, and because the injury is open, there is an added concern for infection. This isn't something that can heal properly on its own. The veterinary team immediately began treating Teres with antibiotics to help protect him from infection and medication to manage his pain and inflammation. Bloodwork was also performed to make sure the team has the information they need to safely move forward with his care. Now, Teres needs surgery. The procedure will repair and stabilize his broken leg so it has the best possible chance to heal correctly. Without this treatment, Teres could be left struggling with ongoing pain and difficulty using his injured leg. Baw Baw Animal Welfare wants to give him every chance to recover. Behind the medical terms is simply a dog who is hurting and depending on people to help him. Please consider donating toward Teres’s surgery and continued veterinary care. I was contacted by someone about a boxer puppy needing a home and so I said I would help. I had my sweet baby girl with me less than a couple hours before I knew that she was sent to me by my Cash (my soul dog who I lost in 2023) and that I had to keep her! She’s now 2 years old living her best life with us! Bonnie got into a pack of icebreakers gum, which is apparently very toxic to dogs. I don’t even know how she got to it but she did and within a few hours she was throwing up, shaking, panting and hiding. It was so scary. She is having to have a plasma transplant. This is super scary and we just want her to get better! She’s so sweet but she’s also like the bossy little sister of the household. She knows when it’s dinner time and starts barking her cute little bark to eat. She loves being under her blanky so will paw at anyone who is around to let her under it. She’s so quirky and sweet. Everyone is struggling in this economy so asking for help is such a nightmare for me, but I was contacted about Bonnie needing the plasma transplant which will add so much to an already high bill that I just can’t afford right now. Any little bit is appreciated!

Blind Gadget Is Fighting a Serious Brain Condition

At first glance, Gadget is easy to fall in love with. This sweet 6 year old blind Chihuahua has a gentle spirit, a love for cozy blankets, and an incredible ability to find joy despite every obstacle life has placed in his path. Gadget came into rescue from Georgia after his owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him, hoping he could receive the care and opportunities she was no longer able to provide. Even before he arrived, we knew he needed help with painful dental disease and seborrhea. But it quickly became clear that those weren't his only medical challenges. Not long after entering rescue, Gadget began experiencing frightening neurological symptoms. He developed a severe head tilt, walked in circles, had rapid involuntary eye movements, vocalized in distress, lifted his legs unusually high when walking, and eventually began knuckling over on his right side. His condition progressed so quickly that his veterinarian immediately referred him to a neurologist. After extensive testing, infectious encephalitis was ruled out. Unfortunately, without advanced diagnostics like an MRI and spinal tap, there is still no definitive answer. Gadget may be living with autoimmune encephalitis, a brain tumor, hydrocephalus, or another neurological condition affecting his brain. While we continue searching for answers, Gadget is receiving medication to manage his symptoms and give him the best possible quality of life. Thankfully, we're beginning to see signs of hope. His head tilt has improved dramatically. He's vocalizing less, turning comfortably in both directions, and has even started walking in a straight line for short stretches. He's eating well, staying curious about the world around him, and happily snuggling into soft blankets with the people who love him. But Gadget's journey is far from over. He still requires ongoing medications, regular bloodwork and urinalysis to safely monitor his treatment, specialist follow-up appointments, and continued neurological care. These expenses add up quickly, especially for a rescue committed to giving medically complex dogs like Gadget every chance they deserve. Despite being blind and facing an uncertain neurological diagnosis, Gadget hasn't given up. His sweet personality continues to shine through, reminding us every day why he's worth fighting for. Timmy was found in a box as a kitten when I was 17 years old, we brought him home and he’s been with us for 10 years now, I’m 27 and he’s an integral part of my household Timmy recently became less active, more lethargic, playing less, eating less over the past few days, when I came home from work I found him hiding under the bed, breathing in a short unusual manner and he wouldn’t come out, or accept food or water. We took him to the closest vet and he’s was taken back right away where they discovered infection related fluid around his lungs Timmy is and always has been quarky, he has a RBF like no other and while sometimes sassy, he’s actually the sweetest cat, he’s 10 but plays like he’s still a kitten, and absolutely adore cuddling with anyone at all, he’s always been an indoor only cat and we like to think it’s because he doesn’t wanna get his tuxedo dirty we were already tight as a household,we shelled out all of our savings to get him this far but he’s at 5200 in life saving medical care,and The total care by tomorrow mid day is at 7k which we have exhausted all options for financing or assistance

Jeffrey was a gift to my son. My son name him Jeffrey after one of the twins on the Tv show Everyone loves Raymond. Jeffrey is approaching 11 years old but you wouldn’t know it. He is so fun, friendly and full of life. Not to mention extremely active. Jeffrey still remains my son’s first fur love and my forever furbaby. Jeffrey is really smart and learned at 3 months old how to sit, lay, & speak. Jeffrey has recently developed a growth within his right upper lip. The growth is hard, round, and slowly in creasing in size. I’ve been advised by his veterinarian that there will need to be a needle biopsy done. This requires Jeffrey to be sedated. The entire procedure costs a tad over $900. I was heartbroken to learn the cost because I knew that I don’t have that amount of money as a single mom Jeffrey is so silly but extremely friendly. Like he seriously makes friends with everyone, human or animal. From other dogs to cats, to parakeets to hamsters. Jeffrey is an all around seeetheart who loves snuggles, booty scratches and a good game of fetch. The growth on Jeffrey’s upper right lip came out of nowhere. Especially since he’s never had health issues before and he’s so active and in shape. The thought of not being able to have this procedure done is heartbreaking to say the least. Being a single mom, money is tight.

Pepper was found roaming the streets under weight and neglected. The person who found him could not keep him so he boarded pepper at the daycare and boarding facility I currently work at until he was able to find a home for him. I fell in love with Pepper immediately and knew I wanted to give him the life he deserved now pepper lives with me, my fiancé, his human sister and her baby. Pepper has recently tested positive for adult heartworm through care vet by interstate in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Pepper has been in good health since I adopted him! Until this diagnosis Pepper is special because he was the second of the three rescues that I have he’s a bit of an anxious boy, but he’s so loving and loyal. He absolutely adores his human baby niece and his two sisters, as well as his dog niece pepper is such a ray of sunshine, even after everything he’s been through. As we all know times are tough right now and money just doesn’t go as far as it used to and with three other pups in the house along with a six month old baby money is kind of tight right now. Pepper is merely just a baby himself at three years old and has so much life left

Doom was the runt of the litter and our neighbors were looking for someone to take care of her. It was love at first sight. She’s a neurotic and sassy cat with a ton of energy. We were discussing what to name her one day and we lovingly referred to her as “a little ball of doom” which is how she became known as Doom. I’ve had her for 10ish years now and we love her lots. She’s been having issues with a swollen lip on and off over the years. It was never very serious and would resolve in a few days usually. But in the last year it started to bleed (shes been scratching at it) and it has led to callousing. She also might have digestive issues. She needs $800 for canine extractions and about $2,000 to diagnose and treat her possible digestive issues. She’s very talkative and loves to yell for attention. She’s shy around people she doesn’t know so she hides away in my room until they leave. But if given the opportunity she’ll pop out from behind a curtain and scare the shit out of you lol. Her and our older cat King are besties and love to tussle. We were told her canine teeth had to be extracted and that would be $800. Her digestive issues have gotten increasingly concerning as well. We want Doom to live a long happy life without pain, but we just don’t have any money to do anything and it’s heartbreaking…

May joined out family as a little puppy and has grown and made a huge impact since. She is the sweetest girl who through not fault of her own is now in pain. Due to a recent move this came at the worst time financially. Seeking community support for May as she recovers. My sweet girl May, a 1½‑year‑old Rottweiler/Great Pyrenees mix, is fighting for her life right now. We recently relocated to Salisbury, NC, and in the middle of this transition she suddenly became extremely sick. After rushing her to the vet, we learned she had a dangerously entangled stomach — a condition that required immediate emergency surgery. May is very playful, despite being a actual giant, she is often jealous of her toy sized sister often demanding the same treatment. Its been a little bit since she knocked me over asking to be picked up again.
