Sporty needs your help in his golden years.

Sporty is a sweet senior boy, around 11 years old, who came into Music City Animal Rescue alongside his brother, Max. When they were surrendered, Sporty had severely damaged teeth and several large lipomas, or fatty tumors, that needed attention. They knew he deserved to feel comfortable, so Sporty underwent a full dental procedure and had his large lipomas removed. Thankfully, he's now doing well and enjoying his days with his brother in the loving care of their foster hospice mom. As Sporty gets older, he does have some special needs. He requires small-bite senior dry food and enjoys having wet food mixed in, too. He also has a new tumor that has started to grow. Thankfully, it isn't causing him any trouble right now, and given his age, they may decide that the kindest option is to leave it alone and simply keep a close eye on it. Their goal now is simple: to give Sporty and Max the happiest, most comfortable golden years possible—together. But they can't do it without you. They're asking for your support to help cover the cost of his dental procedure and surgery to have his fatty tumors removed, along with the food, medications, and supplies he needs to live a comfortable life. Sassy is a precious senior girl who may weigh barely 5 pounds, but she has a personality that fills the room! At approximately 10 years old, this little lady loves being the center of attention and is being treated like the tiny princess she truly is. Unfortunately, Sassy arrived at Music City Animal Rescue with some serious medical needs. She has severe dental disease and at least one fairly large mammary tumor that will need to be removed and tested to determine whether it is cancerous. She also wasn't spayed before coming into rescue. Sassy's upcoming medical care will include a full dental procedure, removal and biopsy of her mammary tumor(s), and a spay. It's a lot for such a tiny senior girl, but they're committed to giving her the care she needs so she can finally enjoy the comfortable, happy life she deserves. Once her veterinary care is complete, Sassy already has a forever home waiting for her. Until then, Music City Animal Rescue has the honor of caring for this sweet little princess and making sure she gets everything she needs to heal. Please help Sprite who is now adjusting to life without eye sight.

Sprite is a beautiful white Husky who was found as a stray in Nashville, TN. When he entered Music City Animal Rescue's program, he was extremely thin and in poor condition. It was clear that this young boy, estimated to be around 4 years old, had been through a lot. Sprite is blind, but thankfully, he still has his hearing. They don't believe he has been blind his entire life, which has made adjusting to his new reality especially difficult. Imagine suddenly losing your ability to see the world around you and having to learn how to navigate everything from scratch. That's the challenge Sprite is facing right now. Because of his medical needs, Sprite is part of their Golden Guardian program, which helps provide the specialized care and support he needs as he learns to live comfortably without his sight. Despite everything he's been through, Sprite deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and secure. With patience, medical care, and a supportive environment, we're hopeful that he'll gain confidence and learn that being blind doesn't mean he can't have a wonderful life. Odie is a 11 year old Pomeranian in Milwaukie, OR, who needs $500 for Abdominal Ultrasound.

Odie came to me after years of neglect, there was a lady fostering him (friend) and I learned that they were considering putting him down. He already was returned from possible adoptees stating the challenges Odie faced were too much for them. So I took him in knowing there would be challenges. Odie is a senior Pomapoo who spent years without proper care. When I brought him home, I knew he needed help — but I didn’t know how serious his condition truly was. His first vet visit revealed a heart murmur, possible heart disease, severe dental disease, painful infected teeth, and a serious skin infection that requires immediate treatment. He struggles to eat, he’s uncomfortable, When Odie came to us it was obvious he was not used to affection, so we took it slow with him. I have a pit/lab mix Decker which is also a rescue, and I wasn't sure if he would welcome Odie but he looks after Odie and he follows Decker everywhere. Odie has suffered horrible neglect and deserves to be happy and pain free. I'm a disabled senior and live off a very low fixed income and will be having a hip and knee replacement in September. I was able to get his ear infection and skin infection treated (on going) But unfortunately, I can't afford any more then that. PLEASE HELP ODIE

I met Lena about 3 weeks ago. She stole my heart immediately. She has turned into such a loyal loving spunky puppy. She is perfect. She doesn't seem to care we live out of hotels she keeps us pushing forward to bigger and better things. She means the world to me and my girlfriend. Xena is currently in warrington veterinary hospital recovering from accidental nicotine ingestion. While visiting some friends Xena was being her playful self when one small mistake almost cost her her life. She thought a dropped cigarette was a toy and bit a good chunk of the cigarette before we could react. She has been hospitalized and hopes to get out today by 430pm. Xena has no favorites. Everyone can get kisses. She doesn't discriminate. She is the best thing that has happened to us ever. Any help would be greatly appreciated We are currently on fixed income with no room for extra bills. We had someone willing to help who has backed out at the last minute putting us i. A situation where we dont know what to do.

Kap is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Galena, , who needs $5,000 for Cataract Surgery in Both Eyes.

We rescued Kap on 6/3/26. Kap is a Cockapoo, the rescue had their vet give him vaccines and check his eye health on 6/2/26. We were told that he had no eye issues. At home on 6/3/26 he ran into several objects outside and inside the house. l read on the Internet about one eye condition could cause blindness in 24-48hr. I called the or an appt on 6/4/26 to have his eyes checked. He had cataracts Kap has cataracts in both eyes. The surgery is estimated to be 5,400-5,800. I purchased pet medical insurance on 6/3/26 but it has a 30 waiting period. Because I was so concerned about his sight and took him to the vet on 6/4/26, this is considered pre-existing and not covered. He is a very sweet boy, very smart and has quickly learned the invisible fence boundaries and furniture placement. He was up for adoption because his human mother had passed away from cancer. The family member taking care of him was not a good provider and locked him in a shed. He has had a lot of trauma and change in the last 2 months that we have had him. it would be a great for him to see again My husband and I are retired and on Social Security and in our 70's. I do work about 18 hours a week to help with expenses. We love our pets and want Kap to be able to see again and enjoy his life. He is only 4 years old. We want to get the surgery but it is 54 to 5800

Hello, my name is Kaye. My adorable fur baby Princess became diabetic in October 2025. Soon after on Thanksgiving day she went blind. It breaks my heart to see her lost and confused, bumping into furniture and walls in her own surroundings she knows. It would be my greatest wish to give her sight back. Anything you can afford to help would be greatly appreciated from the bottom of my heart! She has been diabetic since October of 2025. She has been being treated by Dr Shuler in St George to moniter her glucose and prescribe insulin. She is now being seen by Dr. Visser Charleston Animal Eye Specialist to remove the cateracts from her eyes. My sweet baby and her sister are family. I love them with all my heart, like a child. She is friendly and playful with us and her suster but has been depressed since she lost her sight. We give her extra love and attention to console her. Overall her behavior is tgatvshe us unsure of herself and scared a lot especially when it storms. I am currently disabled and on a fixed income, so I live month to month. It would be the greatest gift to give my baby her sight back I cant express how grateful I would be for your help to have the surgery. It brings me to tears hoping she can see again!

We adopted a special needs baby in Feb 2019. At that time we had a senior boxer and a lab with hip dysplasia. As he grew they become attached to each other. When he was 18mths old we tragically lost our boxer and he was 11 yrs old. Our lab was lost without him and our son loved Scooby Doo so we adopted Sascha. We made the hard decision to put our lab down 6mths later and adopted another 1 4 him On July 11th on a family camping trip Sascha started limping and not wanting to come in and out of the camper. On July 12 she started yelping in pain when she moved. On July 13 we went to the vet and had xrays done and she was diagnosed with a bulging disc and possible IVDD. We are needint to go to Metropolitan ER Vet in Louisville KY for MRI and surgery and she is currently on strict rest. She is our 7yr old sons best friend. She has grown up being his protector and his best friend. They do everything together. She was so gentle with him thru 2 brain surgeries and never left his sight at home. She lets him play toys on or around her and just sits and watched him. She is the 1st to greet him at the door when he comes in from school, etc. He doesnt understand why she isnt doing that n I recently lost my job after 13 yrs and have been playing catch up on some bills, We are currently behind and in a pymt plan for our mortgage and am paying bills at disconnect in order to be able to afford groceries and vet bills, I also have a senior cat that in is kidney f

I adopted Walrus almost 3 years ago. He came out of a hoarder situation with hundreds of other dogs. He was caged outside most of his life. He is now in a loving home with 2 other fur siblings and my husband and 3 children. About a year ago, Walrus was experiencing panting episodes. I took him to the vet and they explained to me that he had a heart murmer. It was on a scale of 3 out of 6. He also had a bad cough in the morning which the dr explained his trachea was starting to close up. He was on meds for 10 days. It came back and now he is at a level 4 of 6. Walrus wouldn't hurt a fly. When we came home with him from the shelter, it was like he was always ours. He fits right in our crazy, funny household. From sneezes in our faces to snoring at night, we wouldn't have it any other way! I know I made the right decision bringing him into our family. It was meant to be. What I didn't know was how expensive it could be. With 3 kids and 2 other pets, I got myself into a bind that I never even thought of. I guess I just thought nothing would ever happen to them.
