Hi! I’m jonathan and I’m creating this on behalf of my wife (which Ginger is her cat so I am the stepfather technically, but a proud cat stepdad to her). We are currently in south Philly in a little townhome that has lots of windows that she loves to sunbath in. She also has a sister named Luna that she loves to annoy, and a bigger doggie sister named Katara that she also loves to annoy😂 It started with vomiting bile so naturally we took her to the vet. Blood tests and ultrasound later we ended up at the emergency vet for a few days and now she’s at Penn vet medicine for a kidney blockage and possibly surgery. She is very loving and will take a nap on your lap, only and only if there is a comfy blanket over you to lay on. She is a very picky eater, but she chows down when she loves it. She has 2 sisters that she loves to annoy, but will occasionally cuddle with the dog when she wants too😂 she is very talkative when she wants attention and treats and don’t you dare touch her nub or belly! Me and my wife were in North Carolina when Helene hit and we were displaced by that hurricane. We were already planning a move to Philly, but the financial strain of being hit by the storm+the move and having to fix things on our new home, this is a BIG unexpected expense.

Duffy is an 8-year-old Golden Retriever I’ve raised since he was 7 weeks old. We live together in Sacramento, CA. I’m a disabled woman with no family support, and Duffy is my emotional anchor. We share a small home with two roommates, but I’m his sole caregiver and have been since the day I brought him home. Duffy is being treated at Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital in Elk Grove, CA. He’s battling a serious paw infection that may have become systemic. He also has a history of soft tissue sarcoma and possible signs of Cushing’s disease. I’m using leftover meds at home, but he urgently needs diagnostics and professional care I can’t afford upfront. Duffy is my 8-year-old Golden Retriever and my constant companion. I’ve had him since he was 7 weeks old. He’s playful, sensitive, and smart—he loves catching Nerf balls mid-air and swimming when we can. He’s quirky and doesn’t always like being touched, but we have a deep bond. He’s my only family and emotional lifeline. I’m facing major financial hardship due to disability and caregiving costs. Duffy is all I have—my family, my anchor. Getting him healthy again would mean hope, stability, and the strength to keep going. I can’t imagine life without him.

Bella

Bella is a 5 month old Mix-Breed in Overland Park, KS, , who needs $2,000 for Surgical Amputation and Physical Recovery.

Our Bella (short for Bellatrix) was staying at a rescue when we found her. She’s a hound mix, just shy of six months old, and full of energy. Now she lives with us in a cozy apartment filled with toys, beds, blankets, and treats galore. She’s been with us for over three months and has two cat siblings, Draco and Luna. Naturally, all our pets are named after Harry Potter characters. She was involved in a hit-and-run with a car on the 13th and has been hospitalized ever since. Her back left leg suffered two fractures—one at the hip and one just above the ankle. The joint in her left hip had to be removed. Unfortunately, her back right leg had to be amputated due to extensive damage. She now faces months of physical therapy to regain strength and adjust to a new way of life. She is the sweetest and most cuddly puppy ever. She's a Diva and loves attention, is super playful. She is well behaved, can get along with anybody. She's a little explorer as she's a hound mix, loves to go on walks. Is not camera shy and will strike a flawless pose. No sleeping position is uncomfortable and will spawl out wherever she sleeps. She is our whole world and would do anything for her. We had a small emergency fund for a situation like this, but could never imagine it being this severe, causing it to cost much more than we had prepared for. We both work full time bringing in enough for daily life, but not something this unexpected and costly.

A friend of mine couldn’t care for her dog anymore and as it turns out she was trained to be a service dog which me and my 3 little children needed as my son was emotionally challenged, and I am deaf hard of hearing. She has been everything to me and my children for the last 2-3 years and she’s been more than a dog to us, she is our family. My dog being as smart as she is, somehow found her way into a bottle of ibuprofen and since has been struggling in more ways than one as she is suffering from ibuprofen toxicity. Due to this, it has impacted my ability to go to work and provide for my family and for her as I am a single mother to 3 children, and my significant other left me pregnant. I have no idea how I am going to pay everythin Meila is not only special to me and my kids, she is our family. And has assisted me in my ability to continue to wake up for work as my hearing continues to decline. And my son continues to struggle managing his emotions. But, beyond that she has loved me and my children and there is an incredible bond and it would break our hearts if we lost her. Please help us save our baby Single mother of 3 children, I work seasonal jobs as I consistently struggle to hold a full time job due to being fired for being a mother, disabled and because of my racial background. I pray for help, I pray for things to get better for my family as well as our FurFamily

Champ

Champ is a 11 month old Yorkshire Terrier in Leavenworth, KS, who needs $500 for Emergency Treatment for Reactions to Vaccinations.

Champ was given to me by a friend to provide me companionship as I live out my remaining days. I have terminal cancer. I am disabled and live on $960 per month SSI plus $290 per month from SNAP food benefits. I managed to scrape together the $190 to have Champ vaccinated last Wednesday, July 2. Now he is having extreme reactions to the vaccines and needs emergency care or he may die. Champ needs immediate IV fluids or he will likely die. The emergency vet hospital wants $200 just to see him and likely another $200-$300 to treat him. Champ is so special to me, and he is just a puppy. The person who gave him to me is going to take him back once I pass. But he can't afford these emergency services right now either. If I can get him through this I am going to get medical insurance for him, which is pretty reasonable and will cover future situations like this. Please consider donating a little bit to help so I can get Champ treatment today to save his life. We only need about $500, and this platform pays the veterinarian directly.

Winnie was a birthday gift 10 years ago and has been my best friend ever since. She has been with me for many job changes and moves, she has been my support system. I can’t imagine living with out her. Winnie recently had become very ill with an undiagnosed anemia condition. We have been working with the vets at VCA in Middleton, WI to help her and she needs another transfusion to help get us to an answer and effective treatment. She is a very loved member of the family and has helped me through hard times. She is a favorite at my grandmothers healthcare facility because they say she is always happy and smiling. I have been unemployed for over a year with my own health issues and my mother has been helping with my bills but she is on a limited income her self. We need help to allow time for diagnosis and treatment of Winnie’s condition.

I am Kimberly, I am was in a car accident 11/2016 which left me disabled with some physical limitations. My son was still a minor when my accident happened.. My therapist suggested getting an emotional support animal for the both of us. Troy, came into our lives 04/01/2017. Troy was 7 weeks old and he just turned 8 years old on 02/13.. Troy is part of our family. Troy tore his ACL and has to have TPLO surgery. His surgery is schedule for May 22, 2025. Mission Veterinary Hospital. I have attached his x-rays. I need any help I can get with covering the cost for the surgery. Troy plays a major role in supporting my children and me. Troy is very lovable, happy, energetic, loves engaging with people, and is full of life. Troy loves belly rubs and sleeps with me every night. Troy can tell when I am not feeling well because he would come lay at my feet. If I move he raises his head like where you going? I have say going to the restroom or he will follow me. I am on RSDI. I am only allowed to work 3-4 hours a day, 3-4 days a week. Troy surgery cost $4109, not including the X-rays and the pain meds he is on. I have to have 40% of the cost the day of his surgery and they are letting me make monthly payments for the balance.

Lexi came into our lives and hearts 7 years ago at the age of 2. We adopted Lexi from the Colorado Springs Humane Society. She currently lives with her human family of five, her companion mate, and 2 cats. Our dogs have a large open space to run around in with a large dog house for shelter. They're indoors during the night, and bad weather days. Since Lexi's leg injury she has been kept indoors. Lexi is needing immediate surgery to remove an erupted tumor on her leg. It has been three days since the erupted has happened. Some infection has started on the open wound. Our one and only dog at the time was a rescued male named Loki. He was a lonely puppy during the day and we wanted him to have a life companion. So, we adopted an easy going female that was his same age. The two have come a tight pair. Lexi is a devoted loyal dog that is a part of our family. She is irreplaceable to us all. Late March I was in a car accident with my paid off car. A lady ran a stop sign hitting and totaling my car. I now have a $200 monthly bill for car that I wasn't planning on having this. She is a beloved by all here and our lives wouldn't be the same without her.

Tank

Tank is a 4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Arvada, CO, who needs $2,000 for Bilateral TPLO.

We adopted Tank from the animal shelter in August of 2023. The shelter gave him such an appropriate name, we didn't feel a need to change it. Tank is a little more than 80 pounds of pure muscle and love. Recently, Tank was playing with the ball outside. He was playing a little to hard and tore his Right CCL. About a week later the same happened with his Left CCL. Luckily he had already been scheduled with Liberty Animal Hospital for a unilateral surgery. They took more X-rays and confirmed a second CCL tear. They were able to schedule him for a bilateral TPLO surgery. Tank has some of the best qualities for a dog of his stature. Most of his time is spent snuggling as close to dad as he can, acting like a lap dog. In the car he will sniff in the drivers ear to ask for the window down, he can start to get sassy if he’s not smelling the world go by. Tanks surgical cost was not a factor in whether we were going to get the help he needed. We found the vet with the lowest cost for this procedure in the area and was able to temporarily cover with a Care Credit card. We hope to subsidize some cost before getting him a loan.
