Buster is a gorgeous 9-year-old Australian Shepherd who has been the absolute love of my life for the past nine years. Our home in New Jersey used to be busy, but now that my son is away at college, Buster keeps me company while I work from home. He also spends a lot of time split between my house and my 80-year-old mother’s home, acting as a vital support system for our family. Buster was diagnosed with Stage 2 malignant oral melanoma. After surgery at Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital by Dr. Emily Woods, the margins were incomplete. His chest X-rays and lymph nodes are clear. To stop the spread, Dr. Seth Glasser at Garden State Veterinary Specialists recommends radiation and the ONCEPT vaccine. Buster is systemically healthy, active, and ready to fight. Buster is a gentle giant with an infectious smile and expressive brown eyes. He acts like a puppy, chasing balls in the yard and wiggling his stubby Aussie tail for belly rubs. He loves car rides and walking along the water with me or my mother, who is battling recurrent cancer. Buster brings pure joy to everyone he meets, from neighborhood children to the people in the woods and along the coast. Sudden surgery & biopsy bills wiped out our savings. This catastrophic expense leaves us unable to afford his radiation & vaccine care. Saving Buster means giving my mother her anchor, giving me my shadow back, and giving this sweet boy the sunsets and splashes he deserves

Cocoa is a 9 month old Mix-Breed in West Hartford, CT, who needs $1,845 for Emergency Exam and X-ray.

We adopted Cocoa about three months ago. She was a little stray puppy rescued from Arkansas and transported up to CT. My kids and I went to an adoption event “just to look at the doggies,” and Cocoa ended up coming home with us. She is the sweetest, smartest, goodest girl ever. She really completes our family, and even though she is a little stinker, we love her so much! On Saturday we came home from a busy evening, and found that Cocoa had chewed up a toy that had a mini tennis ball in it for bounce. After a few days of diarrhea, I took her to urgent care. X-rays revealed that she might have a soft foreign body in her stomach. We are now at the ER to repeat imaging, and the costs are racking up fast. We are at VCA in West Hartford. Cocoa is such a smarty. She learned all the basic commands SO FAST, and she is one of those dogs that will sit, lie down, roll over, and give you her paw as soon as she sees you approach with a treat. She lies down and loves belly and ear scritches, and if you sit on the floor, she is ON YOUR LAP. She gives kisses, and just loves her hoomans so much! I am a solo mom on SSDI (disability), and paying for emergency pet care just isn’t even remotely in my budget. I’m not sure how much this will end up costing, but just yesterday’s urgent care visit already came to $845. We are now at the VCA ER, and costs are evolving.

Honey was rescued in Texas by my mom, and given to my son for emotional support. She has been living with my two children and I in Maryland, and has been a huge blessing to us all. Honey has been developing eye issues that worsen with time. The color of her eyes went from a beautiful shade of brown, to blue/gray tint. It is starting on portions of the eyes, and we are trying to figure out what the problem is before it escalates. My son, who has ASD, has benefited from having Honey in many ways. She helps keep his emotions regulated, and calms him when he is upset. They have developed a very close relationship. Honey brings a smile to the entire family and whoever she meets. Before the eye issues, she was more spunky and energetic. She loves to show love and say hello to anyone in the room. Im a single mother of two children, and I work in the education field. We cannot afford the vet fees, especially in the county we live in. We are afraid of loosing Honey due to these eye issues, but do not want her enduring pain any longer. We want Honey to live a full life!

Chuck Norris Needs a Complex Surgery to Save His Life. Can You Kindly Help Him Out?

For years, Chuck Norris survived on a Thai army base in Northern Thailand, relying on scraps and his own determination to make it through each day. At only 4 years old, he had likely never known the comfort of a home or the care of a veterinarian. When Hand to Paw Foundation finally brought Chuck Norris to safety, they quickly discovered he was suffering from Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumor (CTVT), a contagious but treatable cancer. Despite months of chemotherapy, his condition continued to worsen. The cancer had become so severe that it destroyed part of his urethra, leaving him unable to urinate normally and causing constant discomfort. His veterinary team made the decision to perform emergency reconstructive surgery, creating an entirely new urinary pathway while also removing the remaining cancer. It was a complex procedure, but we're incredibly grateful to share that the surgery was a success! Now Chuck Norris begins the next chapter of his journey: healing. He will need ongoing veterinary monitoring, medications, follow-up appointments, and supportive care as he recovers from this life-changing procedure. Hand to Paw Foundation never hesitated to give Chuck Norris the care he needed, even before the funds were in place. They chose to act because his life depended on it. For 15 years, Token has been her mom's constant companion, faithful friend, and beloved family member. From the day she arrived as an irresistibly tiny Chihuahua puppy with a head bigger than her body, Token has filled her home with love, laughter, and unwavering loyalty. Through life's ups and downs, she has never left her mom's side, offering the kind of unconditional love only a dog can give. Now, it's Token who needs someone to stand by her. This sweet senior girl has been diagnosed with Stage 4 dental disease, and she has been living with severe pain caused by a tooth that has receded into her nasal cavity. The damaged tooth is pressing against the delicate lining of her nose and is even partially blocking her airway. Every day, Token struggles with constant discomfort. She paws at her face, gags, sneezes, makes squeaking sounds as she breathes, and lives with pain that no beloved pet should have to endure. Her veterinarian has recommended urgent dental surgery to remove the diseased tooth and repair the area to allow it to heal properly. Once the painful tooth is removed, Token is expected to find significant relief and finally be able to breathe and rest comfortably again. The procedure is estimated to cost $1,439.52. Thanks to a generous $200 grant from Paws 4 A Cure, part of her care has already been covered, but her mom still needs to raise $952 to make this lifesaving surgery possible. Jett came into our lives in 2017 as a puppy from an unexpected litter. She was the runt of this litter. We came up with Jett because she is jet black. We like to call her Jetty, or Jetty Spaghetti. In 2024 Jett was diagnosed with diabetes. She has since developed cataracts and she is having a hard time navigating. We have taken her to a pet ophthalmologist specialist at the university of Illinois and he would like to do cataract surgery while her vision is still able to be restored. Jett is one of a kind, she is the sweetest girl that will do anything asked of her. She has been my soul dog & my son’s best friend. She gives unconditional love to my family, and has been the biggest blessing. The surgery she needs for a better quality of life has came unexpectedly, and I am struggling to come up with the cost. I would do anything to have her eyes healthy and to have my happy girl back. I love her so much.

So I was a addict and January 2025 I finally decided I wanted to change and went to rehab. feb 2nd 2025 one my family members called me and told me they had puppies and wanted to gift me one for taking this huge step in my life.she came to when I got out rehab from another state and she has been my rock.She is my ESA and without her I know I would have returned to using.she is my BFF. So I have been in recovery since I have gotten her and she does keep me sober and said.BUT I was unaware because I have in my 46 years of life,Never had a pet before know she needed more shots and now she has a infected anal glan or it's a spider bite...idk and she been running a fever...I have been putting cooling rags on to help bring her temp down but it is over 100 degrees outside. She is my ESA and when I can afford it I would love to get her service trained for my anxiety and PTSD.so when my disability is granted I can take her with me cause without her it is hard for me to leave my home in fear of violence against me and not feeling safe anymore...she is my strength and my heart. She gives me a reason to keep going and to live my best life. I have PTSD and have social anxiety and I am working on it.I am in recovery and see a theropistiest.I have filed for my disability and I am hoping it gets approved very soon within the next month or 2.But ooti needs a vet asap for her shots and this thing on her butt.

When Flaca was found, she was fighting simply to survive. This gentle eight-year-old stray had been wandering the streets in heartbreaking condition. She was so severely malnourished that she was little more than skin and bones. It was clear she had been without proper food, care, and love for far too long. Thankfully, D&A Animal Rescue stepped in and gave Flaca the second chance she desperately needed. With nourishing meals, a safe place to rest, and lots of love, Flaca has slowly regained the weight she lost and begun to trust the people caring for her. Watching her transform has been nothing short of incredible. But her journey isn't over yet. Flaca is now battling painful wounds and a serious infection on the outside of both of her ears. Her rescue team rushed her to the veterinarian, where she underwent diagnostic testing and began treatment. While her veterinary team is optimistic that she can make a full recovery, she still needs ongoing medical care, medications, and follow-up visits to fully heal. After everything Flaca has endured, she deserves the chance to live the rest of her life free from pain.
