Scout is severely malnourished. Will you help this sweet girl?

Scout was found in Londonderry Twp at 11 pm, hunkered down outside all alone and petrified. She was taken to the emergency vet, but the finder was unable to keep her. Luckily, they had contacted Castaway Critters to care for her. When they walked into the emergency vet room, they were met with the saddest, most deserving big eyes. As soon as Scout saw them, it was as if she knew she was going to be ok. However, she has a long road of healing ahead. She is severely malnourished and underweight. She should weigh approximately 55 pounds but currently weighs about 27 and is very weak. She has fleas and ticks. She smells like the worst kind of stale urine. Her coat is dirty and very dull, and her nails are overgrown. She will need a slow refeed schedule and a boatload of diagnostics. They did not do that the first night because she was petrified of human touch as much as she wants to be accepting of it. If you can help Scout in any way, we would greatly appreciate it. I had been bugging my husband about getting another cat so our 4 yr old female tabby would have a friend. One Friday night I fell in love with a picture of this handsome boy at our local animal shelter. I knew I had to have him! We kept the name from the shelter that was so fitting for him, Master Shifu! This boy is my heart & soul, our gentle giant. In Sept 2025 our Shifu fell ill. Running 104-106.4° temp for 3 weeks. All test came back with perfect results. Then Jan 2026 it came back and almost took him from us. He was unable to walk or hardly move on February 16th & went to MedVet. They believe he has FIP, but now 4 months later there is something else Neuro happening and he needs an MRI to diagnose. 4 month of FIP meds taken. Needs MRI. Shifu is the bestest big brother, he takes care of his 8 littles and he is a great little brother who loves to give chase to our older cat. He has the sweetest soul and is such a good boy. Loves to play fetch with his ball and loves to get belly rubs! Yes, I said belly rubs! He has the most beautiful “feather duster” tail that is 16” long and he is extremely handsome in his purrfect tux. Shifu has been on GS-441624 for 4 months and we can purchase the meds but need help with the cost of the MRI to fully diagnose his condition. We have spent a lot to get him back to his old (young) self. He has a lot of life left in him and we need him, he is a sweetheart!

Nikkie is an absolute social butterfly who has never met a dog he didn't immediately turn into a best friend! He is a true "passenger prince" on golf cart rides, loves a good road trip, masters agility courses like a total pro, and will do just about anything for a piece of Pup-Peroni. We all love him so much! Unfortunately, this sweet boy is facing a tough hurdle. Nikkie was diagnosed with a Grade 2 Medial Patellar Luxation (MPL), causing his kneecap to slip and leaving him in severe discomfort. To make matters more complex, during surgery, the vet discovered a torn CCL (cranial cruciate ligament) in that same right leg. To give him the pain-free life he deserves, he underwent a combined repair and TPLO surgery. He is back with his amazing foster dad now, and while he has a long road to recovery, his loving spirit hasn't wavered. Because this vital surgery required unexpected, extensive procedures, the extra cost has placed a massive financial strain on our rescue. We are committed to being there for Nikkie, but we also have a rescue full of other cats and dogs relying on us for medical care. Greycie is a 5-year-old Domestic Longhair gray tabby. She came into our lives after being dumped on the side of the road near our house. We tried to rehome her, but she escaped that house. A week later, I found her (or she found me) & I brought her back home. She lives with me, my son Jacob, & our cat Poofy. We are also mourning the tragic loss of our beloved cat Floofy last week. We rushed Greycie to Banfield for muscle spasms & extreme distress. The vet found a heart murmur. The doctor stated her bloodwork, X-rays, & consult absolutely needed to be done that day. I could only pay for the bloodwork. We are desperate for the remaining $605.59 for these vital X-rays to finish this initial diagnosis phase, as further heart tests will still be needed. Greycie is the rock of our family. I am a single mom raising my son Jacob, who navigates autism, ADHD, and PTSD. We are currently in the middle of a severe mental health crisis with Jacob, making daily life incredibly difficult. Through this trauma and our grief over losing Floofy last week, Greycie is the vital emotional support animal keeping Jacob grounded. We desperately need to save her. I am a single income household with no outside financial support, & was recently laid off, stretching us to the limit. I was denied for every alternative vet loan option. I spent my last penny yesterday on her bloodwork. This campaign is our absolute last hope.

our baby khonshu has been in our life for nearly 2 years now, he’s the last of his litter and an absolute sweetheart… he’s bonded to our other boy loki, they are literally best friends (the other kitty in the video) khonshu is struggling with a obstruction in his genitals, which in turn created crystals blocking him from being able to pee, his abdomen is hard.. without procedures he will have to be euthanized. and we’re trying to get him all the help possible, but it’s very expensive so we’re asking for any help at all to try and help us meet our goal as soon as possible to save his life. he’s a loud, obnoxious boy. he’s constantly wanting love and attention and he will always make himself known in a room. he’s so sweet and never mean to any animal or person. in order to get him the help he needs, i’m having to use care credit which may not even cover the entire procedure. I don’t have any expendable money right now but still want to give khonshu every chance he can get. every little bit helps.

He came into my life when I needed him the most. He was this little fragile tiny little thing. That had to sleep on my chest to get warm. He was with me when I had nothing when I got kicked out sleeping in my car. He cared for me looked after me, He trusted me to care for him. And know that he truly needs me I Just have to sit here and watch him die. He has fooled in a stomach. I need a some mogger for Tacoma. Actually take a look. Send then liquid out for testing and figure out if it's cancer if it's long disease or Peritonitis or if he ate something. Just those test are 6000 we aren't even talking about treatment. I feel like a bum. I spend my saving in blood work but $2171 was cump change. I wish he can forgive me. I was going through a very bad situation, domestic violence situation where he like always being so wise had better judgement of character then I did. I know he never understood why I kept going back. And although my decision did not make sense to him he give me extra love, and more support because he new I needed. Please dont tell me I have to sit and watch him die. The thought makes me feel like im coming apart. He would always hang back wait for me to catch up. Always kept me safe. He doesn't deserve this I know I might sound crazy but he is my sun.

Posey is a 10-year-old Siberian. He is my emotional support animal and I’ve had him since he was 8 months old and I was his second owner. Whoever had him before ME had his front claws removed and must’ve abused him because he’s terrified of anybody that’s not me, he is an indoor kitty who doesn’t go outside because he’s terrified of everything. The last couple of days, his right backside has been puffy and swollen and anytime I touch it. He meows and growls and hisses at me. He’s eating and drinking, but he has liquid diarrhea and a fever. I took his temperature and it’s 6° warmer than my other kitties. I haven’t had a chance to take him to the vet yet because I don’t have the money to do it. He loves me and he loves my mom, but we’re the only people that he does like. He’s just scared of everybody. He thinks everyone’s going to hurt him. Anytime I touch him he growls and hisses at me and I can just tell he doesn’t feel good and I just don’t know what to do. I’m currently on unemployment and I don’t have a job and I only get so much money from unemployment and it barely covers my bills and I just don’t have the resources to take them to the vet and I just don’t want him to suffer. And I can tell that he’s in pain he’s crying

Back in June of 2022, a coworker called me hysterical stating her dog had just attacked kittens in her back yard. When I arrived, one kitten was deceased. The other kitten, Mak, lay dying on a rock. Without a second thought, I scooped Mak up and took him to get the help he so desperately needed. Mak was injured, malnourished, and sick. Mak was diagnosed with asthma and in October of 2025, Mak began struggling with constipation. He is currently impacted and needs to be deobstipated. Mak is very sick currently. Due to his impaction, he is losing weight and muscle mass. He doesn't want to eat and is vomiting. Mak is getting Sub Q fluids twice daily and stool softeners, however the stool is to large to pass on his own. I promised Mak I would love him always and keep him safe. It is a promise I intend to keep. Despite Mak's medical struggles, he has never lost his zest for life. Mak is very opinionated and will always let you know how he feels. He is a fighter. Mak has overcome so much and, with some financial assistance, I know he can overcome this too. I was caring for my grandfather and out of work for about a year. I was able to get a steady job in May of 2025 and have been attempting to catch up on the bills I fell so far behind on. Recently, my car required repairs and any extra money was spent.

Midnite is my 8-year-old female American Pit Bull and my service dog. She has been with me her entire life. I got her the day after she was born and nursed her into the sassy, huffing, little wiggle-butt she is today. She has grown up beside me and has become an important part of my daily life, stability, and support system. Midnite is not just my pet or my service dog — she is family to me. Midnite is my 8-year-old female American Pit Bull and my service dog. She developed a semi-firm mass near one of her mammary glands, so I took her to Simmons and Harlan Veterinary Clinic in Wichita Falls, Texas. The hospital aspirated the mass and submitted it to IDEXX for cytology. The cytology report came back as epithelial neoplasia. The report states that a mammary epithelial neoplasm is a to I got her the day after she was born and nursed her into the sassy, huffing, little wiggle-butt she is today. She has grown up beside me and has been there through some of the hardest parts of my life. my service dog & my family. Midnite has a big personality. She is loving, loyal, stubborn in a funny way, and very expressive. She huffs when she has an opinion, wiggles when she is happy. I cannot afford Midnite’s cancer-related surgery and pathology alone. I’ve already spent $225+ on rides just to get her diagnosed. Having her healthy again would mean my service dog, family, and daily support can stay by my side.
