Lucky

Lucky is a 1-month-old Short-haired Kitten in Round Rock , TX, who needs $2,000 for Traumatic Brain Injury Care.

Round Rock, TX

My kitten sustained a traumatic brain injury and has been fighting hard for 24 hours through seizures, dystocia, and requires bottle feeding due to I inability to latch to mama. We have tried care credit, Scratchpay and even attempted to surrender so he could receive medical care but he's being denied and we have been too due to credit and we're not financially ready for a 2200 er bill. If anyone As a newborn kitten, we like to keep him in the bathroom where it is clean and he can access the bed of his siblings. We are trying to get him to interact with his mother as much as possibowl. To keep that natural warmth and possibility of watching open, but currently have him being bottle-fed due to his inability to latch to the mother. Currently, lucky is experiencing seizures and muscle paralysis, lasting for minutes. Following a seizure after suffbring a head injury. He has a traumatic brain injury that has caused severe discordation. But through all of it, he has fought to be here over 24 hours later. He so small. But with such a big will to live He needs x-rays done as well as an MRI for his head. To check for swelling or any hemorrhaging. We are not quite sure what all is going on and to what the exten. T, is, and this is why we're seeking. Help to make sure that he can get the best care possible with the best chances to live.. My husband worked for Tesla and tell he was recently laid off. Causing quite a bit of financial strain. He currently works for HEB in Texas. And it is enough to make ends meet but with an emergency so vast, we had nothing set aside.

Paquita

Paquita is a 4-month-old Tabby Cat in Cheyenne, WY, who needs $2,000 for Blood Work and IV Fluids to Flush Kidneys.

Cheyenne, WY

Paquita was found inside a dumpster and brought to Cheyenne Animal Shelter where I currently work. Since she was too young to live at the shelter, a foster was need it and I volunteered as soon as I saw her. Paquita has 3 adoptive cat siblings that adore her as much as she does and is part of a big human family. She’s a little menace. There’s no ankles she won’t attack or unsuspected cats, even when they’re napping! She’s a joy to everyone and I can’t imagine my life without her. Paquita has miraculously survived Panleukopenia when she was a little over a month old. The mortality in kittens is of 90% yet, she made it through it. She’s a little fighter and I know she doesn’t want to give up this time either. Life shouldn’t be this unfair for a kitten and I want to do everything I can to help her. She woke up yesterday morning cold and lethargic. Our local vet diagnosed her with kidney failure and referred us to Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency And Rehabilitation Hospital. The cause of her condition is unknown to everyone, especially since she was ok the day prior. We’re currently waiting on her blood work results, so we can find out if is congenital or something else. Overnight care is extremely expensive and is all paid up front. I maxed out my credit card just so we can find out the cause of her kidney failure. She will need constant treatment of fluids for several days to flush her kidneys.

Chloe

Chloe is a 6-year-old Olde English Bulldog in Saint Cloud, FL, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy.

Saint cloud, FL

Chloe came into our life at 12 weeks old. We rescued her from a very bad living situation, but really she rescued me! Chloe was born in Pomona, California, and was with a family that kept her crated 23 hours out the day because she supposedly had bitten the children. So we ask to get her to protect her. And here was Chloe! Chloe became my best friend ( I'm a ARMY Veteran) and noticed how she would help me with my PTSD attacks every time they happened. She will know before I knew it's about to happen. She will either lay on me, or make me get up off the couch to go outside to Skateboard or go walking with her to change my thoughts to prevent a PDST attack. Chloe is not just our dog. Chloe is my best friend, my daily meditation and my Skatergirl. Chloe brings smiles to people's faces just by being her. She is loved no matter where she goes, and her personality is just one of a kind. There is not one bad bone on her body, and she has love for everyone that crosses her path! My world crushed when my baby was diagnosed with Lymphoma last week. Unfortunately the sickness is very fast moving and needs to be treated with Steroids and Chemotherapy that I'd very expensive. With this treatment, Chloe can go into remission to give her more time with the family that loves her with all they have. I am in need of this support because we just don't have the funds to pay for this expensive treatment which is estimated to be between 5-9 thousands dollars.

Photo of Bella

Bella

Bella is a 13-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Jersey City, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Radiation.

Jersey City, NJ

Bella is the oldest of our furbabies. She is one of four cats, and now just one dog (we had two dogs pass away June 2022). Bella has always been the respected elder in the house. All of the cats respect her every move. She is a fierce big sister to them, always there when her sisters get into a situation with each other or one of the dogs. Bella has always liked her independence. In her youth living in Jersey City, she'd run out the house and be gone for weeks or even months. Then just turn up like nothing ever happened. When we moved to Phoenix, AZ, she gave us a few good scares, having us go out and about looking for her. We were able to compromise and get her to enjoy her outside time on our patio. Bella always has a bit of a resting "angry" face, but she always makes us laugh when she randomly comes into the room your in, does a cartwheel, and then leaves. She's done this since she was little, and it brings us so much joy when we see her do her cartwheels. She also has learned that pawing the mirror is louder than pawing the door when she wants us to wake up. We noticed in October of 2022 that Bella had something wrong in her mouth. We made an appointment for the vet, and it turned out to be a cancerous growth. They removed the growth and said she had 6 months to live "with no treatment." After 8 months of homeopathic treatment, the tumor has come back in her cheek. We are now starting radiation therapy that will provide her with relief and longevity. I have recently lost my job, however being in between work is what fortunately allows me to be able to take Bella to the vet for the radiation. However, her treatment is expensive, and being in this limbo of finding a new job makes the financial situation difficult.

Sparky

Sparky is a 4-year-old Chihuahua in Bradenton, FL, who needs $400 for Dental Care.

Bradenton, FL

We rescued Sparky at the age of 6 months from a rescue shelter. He was abused by his previous establishment. He has been a miracle for our whole family. He now lives with 3 very loving people who care for him everyday. He gets healthy exercise and adequate training. He loves belly scratches and sleeping next to someone. He is great with kids, dogs, cats. He lives unconditionally. He lives in a big size apartment with 1 teenager, pre-teen, and loving single mother. He is my 16 year old daughters dog and he followed her everywhere. Their bond is beautiful and loving. He sleeps with her, cuddles, plays. He goes wherever she goes. My other daughter loves him just as much. And when it's movie time he is right in my lap. He is our glue in our family. He lives toys. Specifically his treat ball. He loves playing tug a war. This puppy is afraid of rain and thunder and loves hiding under our arms when it's thundering. He loves getting dirty outside. He is fascinated with swimming pools and splashes. He runs in circles everytime there's a splash. He has a bond with our hamster and they love snuggling. Our baby dog has a medical necessity dental surgery. He needs $400 to fix his teeth. If left untreated he loses l2 teeth and will remain in pain. There is no other way around this procedure. Dental treats, and cleaning will never suffice. They will put him under and work in his teeth making them healthy again so he doesn't have to lose it. I am a single mother divorced with 4 kids, 2 of them in college like schooling. I am a teacher living off teacher pay. I do not remotely have 400 dollars for this pressure but I can't bear seeing our dog in pain. There isn't much we wouldn't do to make our puppy better.

Pablo

Pablo is a 6-year-old Chihuahua Mix in Vallejo, CA, who needs $2,000 for Diagnostics, I.V. Fluids, and Medications to Treat Acute Hepatitis.

Vallejo, CA

I have had Pablo since he was 10 weeks old. I also had his father from pup. We have 3 other little dogs in the house bold and love him very much. They enjoy cuddling together and playing with the cat. Of course they enjoy walks and treats as well. He got his name with what started out as a jokes because chihuahuas come from Mexico and Pablo is a common Hispanic name but it's stuck. He's such a good boy Every morning I take my 4th Fur baby gonna have quick walk before I get to work. They all like to cuddle up with me in bed every night, which can often mean I'm in a weird position lol. He loves car rides and riding on my lap and being my co-pilot. I don't know if he has figured it out or if it's just coincidental but he always seems to get the window down. He loves to stick his head out the window and smell everything he can smell I think what really bonded us was when he had an incident as a puppy and ended up getting his ribs broken. He was in a pretty rough shape but with the help of the emergency vet I was able to nurse him back to health. He's been my best boy ever since. He is missed by his fur baby dog sisters and brother cat. To make a long story short Pablo is experiencing acute hepatitis for unknown reasons and his liver enzymes are elevated. He's been hospitalized and will be there at least until 5/12 so he can continue to receive fluids and medication. His liver enzymes are improving but are still too high. He's also being fed a special diet. It's hard to plan for these unexpected situations. I do have a little money set aside but this will wipe me out. I'm already living paycheck to paycheck. I simply can't foot the whole bill. Having Pablo healthy again will mean he can go on to live a long, happy life.

Sherman

Sherman is a 13-year-old Domestic Short Hair Cat in Millcreek, UT, who needs $2,000 for IV Therapy for Kidney Disease.

millcreek, UT

He was adopted 13 years ago. He has a couple of bladder stones and is currently battling Kidney disease diagnosed yesterday 2/27/2023. He is a valued member of our household and is severely missed while he’s in treatment. He is currently undergoing IV fluids to try and bring his levels to a normal reference range. Sherman sleeps every night cuddled against his human mama safe from the world. He has a fur sister who he gets jealous of if she get more attention than him. His favorite activity aside of eating is sleeping in the sun and by the nice warm heating vent. He also likes to sleep in the middle of mamas bed while she works. Sherman is literally a dog in a cat’s body. He likes to wander the back yard, Sleep in the sun. He loves to be brushed. Breakfast and dinner time are his favorite times of the day. He runs the house like he is the king which he is.He is the sweetest most loving, easy going cat I’ve every known. You can pick him up and old him like a baby and he is completely cool with it. When Sherman was adopted he had a naked back and butt because he had to be shaved due to mats. He also had bladder stones. That didn’t resolve with diet change and has possibly led to his kidney disease. He is undergoing IV therapy to help his Kidneys. Treatment right now if really expensive (ranging from $500-2000)to get his renal values in the Normal range (currently 5-7 times higher then they should be. Then he will need surgery to remove the stones and a special diet there after.

Eddie

Eddie is a 11-year-old Maine Coon Mix in Hawthorne, CA, who needs $1,202 for Bloodwork and Dental.

Hawthorne, CA

Eddie was a friendly homeless feral cat about 9 years ago. He was hanging out in our community areas and everyone knew and loved him. Unfortunately one day he was hit by a car and found suffering in the bushes when I came to his rescue. With the support of the neighbors, we all pitched in and got Eddie fixed up and he has been an indoor loved feline ever since living his best life. Eddie is a great addition to our family. Violet (currently 2.5 years old) loves him dearly and calls his name every morning. We all feel his presence in the room as he is a gentle giant who the entire family has grown to love. When he was younnger we could play fetch with him and he loved going on walk with a harness on. Eddie is very different then any other cat. He is a Maine coon mix and has an awesome personality. He is a gentle giant alpha male. He loved to play fetch and take walks on a leash. We love Eddie and his very dog like behavior and abilities! He is very special for us and want to give him the best life possible. We noticed that Eddie has been losing substantial weight. He still eats daily but is starting to feel a bit boney and underweight. We believe he might have a hyperthyroid issue and we need to get the proper blood tests and a urinalysis first to get him checked. We hope that its just this as the Vet said we can treat it with medicine and get him back to living a normal life. Just had a newborn baby. We could definitely use the help of friends and family at this time to help Eddie get back on track and healthy again. Thank you! Eddie loves you!
