I am a 100% service disabled vet and served 15 years in the military. Two years ago I got my dog for my PTSD to get trained as a service dog. I got her as an 8 week old puppy and at 8 months she entered service training. She is nearly fully qualified at this time --just has a couple remaining tests to get through. I'm a single mom and I live with my 13 yr old son and "Cardi"--my son named her. Cardi tore her ACL and requires surgery quickly to repair it and allow her minimal health impacts from the injury. I live on VA disability so any support would help me to ensure Cardi receives proper medical attention for this unexpected medical expense. She will receive the surgery from Dr Brandon at Spur Ridge Vet Hospital in Marion KS. Cardi is extremely special b/c she provides support as a PTSD service animal for a veteran. However she is also a member of our small family. She loves my son like a sibling and we love her--she is the center of our home. She has really been impacted by this injury--she has lost mobility, not as active as a young dog should be, and she has pain from the injury b/c she holds her leg when she walks. I live on a fixed VA disability income--to receive any assistance--this surgery is critical to get Cardi back to her healthy youthful self. I want so badly to do the right thing for her but I am financially constrained at this time. I would be so grateful for any help!!!

Janis is a 1.5 year old pit malanois mix that came into my life when she was just a few weeks old. The breeders were not taking proper care of the pups and I rescued her from abuse. She is very loved by her 6 human kiddos ages 1-16 and her 2 moms and she is a prized pet that not only protects our family but our small farm as well. She has 2 doggie sisters that are very confused and concerned too. This morning I woke up to blood everywhere and found Janis in a pool under our kitchen table she suffered a major laceration and we rushed her to Lovett animal hospital where we learned she shattered her pelvis and needs her leg amputated in order to live a normal-ish life she’s not even 2 and has so much love and life left she managed to get back home from where she was hit over 100yards away. Janis is spunky and energetic and loves playing with her kids. She has two sisters that are her best friends and partners in crime. She’s always the first to greet you at the door and she’s full of kisses and wiggles. This is a very large sum of money that we were not prepared to have to spend in. Our family is going to suffer throughout the year because of it if we could have any help at all, that would be greatly appreciated as we do not want to choose money over life.

Edna is severely emaciated, likely over 12 years old, suffering from painful grade 4 dental disease that will require multiple extractions, and has several mammary masses that need medical attention. She also has cataracts, making her world even more uncertain and frightening. Edna is gentle, quiet, and finally resting somewhere safe, even though the world has failed her so badly thus far. Senior dogs like Edna are so often overlooked, discarded when they need love and care the most. But we believe her life still matters. Welcome to Eziah CAMO Rescue. For quite some time, Eziah had been surviving alone on the streets. He was so frightened and difficult to approach that he ultimately had to be safely darted in order to bring him to safety. By the time he arrived, his fur was severely matted down to the skin, causing obvious discomfort and hiding just how much neglect he had endured. As if that weren’t enough, Eziah also tested positive for heartworm disease. Now, for the first time in a long time, he is safe. He has a warm place to rest, food in his belly, and a team determined to help him heal. But his recovery will not be easy. Eziah will need extensive grooming, veterinary care, heartworm treatment, and ongoing support as he learns what it means to trust again. We are asking for donations to help cover Eziah’s medical expenses and care. Every contribution helps give this sweet boy a second chance at the healthy, comfortable life he deserves. My friend of mine needed assistance with her after he just got her, and I ended up just keeping her. I grew very attached honestly I just fell in love with her. She's my first fur baby, ever. I thought she had parvo, because her sister (who's in the first picture with a pink collar) got sick after a day of playing. She lives elsewhere and we don't know where the sickness came from, she ended up passing away as of May 21st. She loves playing tug of war, she loves beef jerky sticks, she absolutely LOVES to cuddle with me every single night, she even talks to me! I love her The cost is approximately 5,000$. She needs aggressive hospital care, and is in need to stay in the hospital for a couple days. I have no income as of right now. & would like to please keep her in my life. She's in critical condition right now and am in need of help ASAP

Elsa came into my life from a litter of pups in a box! A few weeks prior my dog, Peanut, 14 years, unexpectedly passed during a dental surgery. Elsa was a ray of sunlight in my grieving dark. She was 6 weeks old. Elsa lives with two other doxies, Daisy and Bella. Elsa settled in so well she was soon running in charge of her sisters, who are both 14! Elsa lives in New Orleans in a bayou cottage. Elsa was diagnosed with IVDD 6 wks ago. She went down fast. She is incontinent & her back legs paralyzed. She is on strict crate rest but I sleep with her and her sisters on the floor in a human dog bed at night so she won't be sad! She is on meds & trying acupuncture & red light therapy Crescent City Vet is Dr., The hospital is South Paws Veterinary Surgical Specialists,Mandeville, La. Elsa loves any squeaky toys and destroys in minutes! Toys are still making her happy in her crate, the only thing perking her up right now. Elsa loves kisses on her little warm head and will try to "talk" to you when she gets them. Elsa loves snuggling in any blanket as you can see from the pics. Elsa loves sunning in the garden with her sisters and she listens when I sing to her. My sweet baby. This is sudden unexpected expense. I live paycheck to paycheck. Elsa is only 6. I can't imagine her life cut short by this unfairness,or my life w/out her. She is my child, I have had her since a baby. She doesn't understand the pain she is in. Please help me save her life.

I am a truck driver and live in Tennessee while in California I found this sad frenchie in a truck stop alone and nobody claimed him and he was wheezing really bad so I put him on the truck and fed him and ultimately wanted to help him get better When I got stitch which is what I call him home to my family they found out he has an upper respiratory infection and possibly a collapsed trachea we’re doing our best but financially even as a truck driver I can’t afford any surgeries or vet care Stitch is so loving with us and especially my daughters and deserves a chance to be live a full life and be loved so I am reaching out to fellow pet lovers for help I recently bought a home had to remodel and found this amazing dog in need at the worst financial time but I am doing everything I can but it’s not enough to pay my bills and afford the high vet bills

We’ve had Smalls for nearly 12 years now. We got him as a puppy when he was less than 1lb. And we have loved him from the moment we laid eyes on him. He is the sweetest, laziest, lovely dog. Smalls may be little but he is a huge part of our family. He’s accompanied us on vacation, kids sporting events, comforted us during our sad times and has celebrated with us during our happy times. Smalls recently has an accident where he suffered trauma to his brain and got a concussion. He ten suffered from a seizure and began vomiting. While vomiting he aspirated vomit into his lungs. Now he is in VCA pet hospital in Lakewood in an oxygen kennel. He is currently dependent on oxygen. He requires daily x-rays, oxygen and medications in order to fight the pneumonia. Smalls is such a sweet dog, he’s always near our side and first to call shotgun in the car. His favorite thing in the entire world besides us his going for a drive. As soon as we open the front door he runs straight to the car and waits near the door. 2nd favorite thing to do is nap right on or next to us. He gives the best cuddles. Unfortunately, vet hospitalizations are extremely expensive. We have been using everything we have to make sure he gets the care he needs. But he’s going to need longer time to recover and we just can’t afford to keep him hospitalized. We need help to save our baby Smalls.
