Help Sweet Wee Wee Live Comfortably in Her Golden Years

Magnolia, TX • D&A Animal Rescue

At 11 years old, Wee Wee has already entered her golden years, and after being surrendered by her family, she found herself needing a new place to call home. Despite being blind, Wee Wee doesn't let the world around her slow her down. She is an incredibly sweet, gentle little girl who is quiet, loving, and happiest when she can simply be close to someone she trusts. All she wants is to feel safe and loved. When Wee Wee came into the care of D&A Animal Rescue, they took her to the veterinarian to find out exactly what she needed to keep her comfortable and healthy. Because of her eye condition, she was referred to another veterinarian for a more detailed ophthalmic examination. The results were difficult, but they also gave her rescue team a clear path forward: Wee Wee will need Latanoprost eye drops for the rest of her life. For a senior dog who has already lost her vision, keeping her eyes comfortable and managing her condition is incredibly important. Thankfully, her blindness hasn't taken away her ability to love. Wee Wee is still the same affectionate little girl who just wants to curl up beside someone and know she's safe. Now, D&A Animal Rescue is committed to making sure Wee Wee receives the lifelong medication she needs. The ongoing cost of prescription eye drops and veterinary care can add up quickly, especially for a rescue caring for multiple animals in need. Will you help give Wee Wee the comfortable, loving retirement she deserves? 🐾 Your donation will help D&A Animal Rescue provide Wee Wee with her Latanoprost eye drops and the veterinary care she needs throughout her golden years. Every gift, no matter the size, helps. And if you're unable to donate, sharing Wee Wee's fundraiser can help her story reach someone who can. Wee Wee may not be able to see the world around her, but she can still feel the love surrounding her. Let's make sure this sweet senior girl never has to wonder if she is loved again. 💜

Help Jedidiah Learn That the World Is a Safe Place

Dorr, MI • Maybel's Legacy

At just 8 weeks old, Jedidiah was thrown from a moving vehicle like he was nothing more than garbage. The terrifying incident left this tiny puppy with severe road rash, a broken clavicle, and a broken leg at the elbow. But his physical injuries were only the beginning of the challenges Jed would face. For the next six weeks, Jed was on strict crate rest and unable to put weight on his injured leg. Instead of spending those important early weeks exploring his world, meeting new people, and learning how to be a puppy, Jed was confined to his crate while his body healed. By the time he was ready to experience the world again, he was afraid of almost everything. People scared him. Leaves scared him. Doors scared him. And going outside? That was especially frightening. Jed had survived a traumatic start to life, but he still needed to learn something just as important as healing from his physical injuries: that he was safe. That's where behavioral rehabilitation came in. Maybel's Legacy has invested $3,000 in behavioral modification training to help Jed build confidence, overcome his fears, and learn the skills he missed during those critical early weeks. He is currently halfway through his training, and he is making amazing progress. Jed is learning how to be a dog. He's learning that new experiences don't have to be scary, that people can be trusted, and that the world around him can be a place to explore rather than fear. His physical rehabilitation may not have come with a veterinary bill, but helping Jed recover emotionally has required a significant investment of time, training, and resources. Donations to his campaign will help support the behavioral care that is giving this sweet puppy the opportunity to overcome his past and build a confident future. At only 6 months old, Jed has so much life ahead of him. He survived being thrown away. Now, with the right support, he is learning that he is worth protecting, worth loving, and safe in this world. Help Jedidiah keep learning, growing, and becoming the happy dog he was always meant to be. ❤️

Maggie Alabama

Maggie Alabama Survived Life as a Stray, Now She Needs Heartworm Treatment

Cumming, GA • Wags and Wiggles Dog Rescue

When Maggie Alabama was found as a stray in Alabama, she was emaciated and suffering from a terrible skin condition. At just 2 to 3 years old, she had clearly already endured a difficult start to life. Maggie's journey to safety began when she was encountered during a mission trip. She needed help, and the person who found her couldn't leave her behind. Eventually, this sweet stray made her way into the care of Wags and Wiggles Dog Rescue, where she finally had the chance to begin healing. The difference in Maggie today is incredible. Once underweight and struggling with painful skin issues, she now weighs a healthy 39 pounds and has a beautiful, soft, fluffy coat. But while she may look like a different dog on the outside, she still has important medical needs ahead of her. Maggie tested positive for heartworm disease and has begun the lengthy process of treatment. She is also receiving ongoing treatment for a urinary tract infection and will need to be spayed once she has safely completed her heartworm treatment. There are also signs that Maggie may have had puppies at some point in her young life. Through everything, Maggie has remained remarkably gentle and loving. She is crate trained, house trained, and walks well on a leash thanks to the work of her foster, who happens to be a trainer. She loves going for walks and car rides, but she is just as happy snuggling beside someone on the sofa, chewing on a bone, or rolling over for a belly rub. Maggie is still young enough to enjoy playing, but she has a wonderfully calm nature. She has done well with dogs, children, and everyone she meets, and her rescuers believe she could also do well with cats. Whether her future is with a family or someone looking for a gentle companion to share quieter days with, Maggie has so much love to give. In fact, one of her biggest "faults" is simply wanting too much affection. Maggie will stand up and put her front paws on you when she wants attention. After everything she experienced before being rescued, she seems determined to make up for lost time when it comes to being loved. Now, Wags and Wiggles Dog Rescue is committed to seeing Maggie through the rest of her medical journey. Her heartworm treatment, ongoing UTI care, spay surgery, and related veterinary needs will give her the opportunity to leave her days of surviving as a stray behind for good. Please consider donating to Maggie Alabama's Waggle fundraiser to help Wags and Wiggles Dog Rescue with the veterinary care needed to get this deserving girl healthy and ready for the next chapter of her life. Maggie has already gone from an emaciated stray with damaged skin to a healthy-weight, fluffy girl who loves belly rubs, car rides, and snuggling on the couch. With your help, the next transformation can be the most important one yet: from a dog fighting heartworm disease to a healthy, beloved companion with a family of her own.

Mama Jackie & Baby Jenna

Mama Jackie & Baby Jenna were hours from losing everything. They need your help!

WHITESTONE, NY • Shelter Free Rescue NY

Mama Jackie and her tiny 6-week-old daughter, Jenna, arrived at a Texas shelter as strays on August 5. Just five days later, they were scheduled for euthanasia. They were terrified, severely matted, and desperately needed help. Jackie, only 2 years old, also had two old fractures in her front leg that could not be repaired. ShelterFree Rescue NY couldn't let these two die, and they refused to save one without the other. They tagged them just hours before their scheduled euthanasia and a volunteer drove them to a foster home more than two hours away. For the first time, Jackie and Jenna were safe. They were bathed, fed, loved, and given the medical care they had been missing. But their medical journey is far from over. Both are being treated for sarcoptic mange, a highly contagious condition that can even affect humans. Jackie is also battling an upper respiratory infection, and her injured front leg is causing her significant problems. She will need an amputation and spay to finally give her a chance at a comfortable life. Jenna is only six weeks old. She should be growing up carefree with her mother—not facing the aftermath of neglect and shelter euthanasia. They've already incurred veterinary expenses, and Jackie's upcoming surgeries will add significantly more. They desperately need your help to keep these two together and give Mama Jackie the treatment she needs. Please consider donating toward their medical care. Every contribution helps with their treatment, surgery, medications, and recovery. They were given a second chance because someone said yes when the shelter was about to say goodbye. Now they need all of us to keep saying yes.

Karmella Jane

Karmella Jane is a 9.5 month old Poodle in Marietta, NY, who needs $7,000 for Surgery for Broken Front Leg.

Marietta, NY

Karmella is her full name but we call her Karma for how she came into our lives… they say you can get anything at Walmart and it’s true! We got Karma from a lady who had her and her sister in a shopping cart! It was love at first sight! She is the sweetest girl and absolutely loves kids as you can see. We are requesting help for an emergency surgery bill for a broken front leg. We went to Compassionate Care in Manlius who were so nice and caring. We had x-rays done and the vet said her “growing” bone was luckily not affected, however, her leg was broken. They were going to put a splint, but the bones would not stay in place so surgery was recommended. Karmella is the sweetest dog, and loves the grandkids so much! She gets so excited when they come here and loves to play with them. Karma will hopefully be trained as an emotional support dog also. Her first trip was when she was only a few months old and she was so well behaved and calm. She loves to run and play fetch and visit with the chickens, turkeys and geese, but never harms any of them. I was recently injured at work and I am going through physical therapy. I am not making the same Income and since this was unexpected I am humbly asking for assistance. Since Karmella is still very young, it is important that she receive the surgery to set the bone properly.

Tigerboy

Tigerboy Is a 15-Year-Old Mixed-Breed in Brooklyn, NY, Who Needs $2,500 for Urine Culture & Full Abdominal Sonogram.

Brooklyn, NY

Early October 2012, 2 very small adorable kittens showed up on my steps. As I was selling the house for my family, I didn't want to start feeding them and they looked healthy. They kept coming and weeks later Hurricane Sandy arrived. The 2 Kitts were hiding in my bushes so I brought them in and they refused to leave me. A few years later, TIGERBOY nursed me through 4 open heart surgeries. ) TIGERBOY is suffering from a very resistant UTI which we've been treating with various meds since May 22, 2026! He developed an abcess from overlicking, is in pain & now wearing a collar. He needs a sonogram and another Urine culture asap but I can't afford it after 5 visits & meds. I'm on SSI. We're stressed in a hotel room for the past 8 mos awaiting an apartment. Help please @vergbrooklyn.com TIGERBOY looks & acts so much younger than his years like his super senior Mom. Sadly, his sister passed away last winter, so its been extra hard for us both. TIGERBOY literally saved my life while I was recouperating from 4 different open heart surgeries. He say as close to my heart as he could purring & followed my every move. We deserve and need to continue to be each others emotional support. I'm awaiting senior housing, now living in a small hotel room with TIGERBOY & my belongings are in storage. I earn little from royalties as an author but we'll soon be in an apartment so I'll be able to get back to work as a union actress & motivational speaker.
