Ri

Ri is a 10 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Rochester , MN, who needs $1,000 for Bloodwork, X-rays, Medication.

Rochester, MN

My dog Ri was given to me by my little brother. My brothers dog is my dogs dad. I came up with him name to honor my brother and his dog, his dogs name starts with an R and my brothers middle name is ziri and I also wanted an Irish name so I found Ri means king. I’ve had him since he was 2 months old.! 2 weeks after receiving him I got a kitten the same age but we lost her during a move. Ri was diagnosed with lymphoma in June and it was confirmed through aspirate last Monday. The get would like to do bloodwork and X-rays to come up with a treatment plan. I will expressed interest in Valeria and she said that would be okay as long as he had no infections and depending on stage. Right now I am seeking help with the bloodwork and X-rays to get started. I took him to Willow pet clinic My dog is my like by baby.! He has been with me through thick and thin and he helped me through some dark times and because of that I ultimately made the decision to make him my ESA and he very much so is that.! He loves sitting in the sun, running free, bones, stuffys and food period lol. He is a weirdo but my weirdo and it’s sad not seeing him as his usual self. It’s hard for me to cover the costs even tho. I’m doing what I can when I can but I know time is of the essence due to paying on living in a weekly hotel that’s where most of my income goes. I get up daily and work 12 hours doing Lyft to make sure we have a “home”

Photo of Colombo

Colombo

Colombo is a 10 year old Poodle in Rancho Palos Verdes , CA, who needs $15,000 for Oxygen Therapy for Pneumothorax & Trauma.

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

Colombo was a gift from my mom when we were 10, along with his two sisters — inseparable to this day. Named by a cousin who saw how curious and affectionate he was, like Lieutenant Colombo. He's the protective, loving big brother of the three, always the first for cuddles, and cries when we leave for work or school. A core, comforting member of our family for over a decade. This is an emergency. Colombo suddenly had labored breathing after we let him out, likely from a coyote encounter. He's at Veterinary Emergency Group in Torrance with a small pneumothorax and severe soft tissue trauma to his neck, currently in an oxygen chamber. He's alert and himself, expected to fully recover, but faces overnight monitoring, medication, and possibly more hospital stays. Colombo is a total cuddle bug who wants his family close — anxious in the car unless someone sits with him, and won't sleep without his sister by his side. He howls if my brother fake-growls at him, and sleeps sprawled out like he's playing dead. He's deeply empathetic, always sensing when I'm down. When any of us comes home, he's first at the door, jumping and slobbering with excitement. This hits during a devastating time, my parents are burying my dad's childhood best friend and his wife, who died days apart, tmr shouldering the cost alone. My brother's in college, I just graduated; we're stretched thin. Colombo's bills have pushed us past what we can bear.

Lionel

Lionel is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, who needs $13,710 for Abdominal Laparotomy and Gastropexy.

Wisconsin Rapids, WI

I found Lionel at Clark County HS in 2016. He was 3 months old, rescued from an Amish farm puppy mill. He was the only one from his litter that was left alive that CCHS was able to rescue. I knew that it was fate and I was meant to rescue him. He has been with me through the toughest times in my 20’s and he has so much more life to live and love to give. He experienced GDV and bloat, critical life threatening conditions. We are so thankful for VEG ER in Madison for saving his life. Prior he had stayed at a kennel for 3 nights and I was not notified he had not been eating, given his comfort blanket, or enough potty breaks during his stay. The combination of their neglect and eating a meal upon returning home caused his stomach to twist 360 degrees. He is an extremely special creature! So gentle and kind. He speaks to me in “woo’s” and is a great listener by giving head tilts like he knows everything I say. He has that husky sass and is bossy, but in a silly way. His favorite way to lay down is in a sploot or being my little spoon as we cuddle. Imagine a deer in a dog’s body, that is my sweet guy, truly one of a kind with unique quirks. This was an unexpected surprise to return home from vacation to have to go to the ER roughly 2 hours being home. The options presented to me was surgery or euthanasia, after being neglected by the kennel he was at, I had to do everything I could to save him.

Midnight

Baby Poodle Midnight Needs Knee Surgery

Cleburne, TX • Foundation of Caring Animal Supporters

At just three months old, Midnight should be spending his days running, playing, and discovering the world around him. Instead, this young Poodle puppy is living with bilateral luxating patellas, a condition in which both kneecaps slip out of their normal position. Luxating patellas can cause pain, difficulty walking, and instability in the hind legs. Without treatment, the condition can worsen over time and lead to chronic discomfort and arthritis. After being rescued from a dangerous situation, Midnight is finally safe and receiving the care he needs. His next step is surgery to correct his knees and give him the opportunity to grow into a healthy, active dog. The procedure will help stabilize his kneecaps so they remain in their proper position, improving his mobility and reducing the risk of long-term pain and joint damage. Your donation will help cover Midnight's surgery, veterinary care, medications, and recovery so he can heal and move comfortably. With your support, Midnight can leave his difficult past behind, recover from surgery, and begin the search for the loving forever family every puppy deserves. Thank you for helping give Midnight the chance at a healthier future. 8/8/26 Update: A Glimpse at Midnight's Struggle Midnight is still just a puppy, but even something as simple as walking is a challenge for him. In the video included in the campaign image carousel, Midnight can be seen hobbling as he moves around. His gait is noticeably different from the other dogs, showing just how much his knee condition is affecting him. Midnight is still waiting for the surgery he needs to correct his knee and give him the chance to grow up active, comfortable, and able to keep up with the other puppies. Donations will help Foundation of Caring Animal Supporters provide the surgery and care Midnight needs. Every contribution brings this little puppy one step closer to running and playing the way a puppy should.

Photo of Butter

Butter

Butter is a 10 year old Maine Coon in North Huntingdon , PA, who needs $3,500 for Polypectomy or Ventral Bulla Osteotomy.

North Huntingdon, PA

Butter came into my life literally in my house. Her mom was a feral rescue cat that had birth in my home. I have had Butter since she was born. She lives with her daughter in my home and they are both older and spayed and love each other endlessly. Butter has saved my life as I lost my significant other to suicide in 2023 and my father from als in 2024. Butter is my savior. Butter has an ear polyp. If untreated it can grow into the bone cut off her hearing, and cause balance issues and lead to suffering.. It's an inexpensive procedure but this cat has saved my life and now it's my turn to save hers. I will do anything to help save her life. Barnes Lake animal Hospital is my vet. Although I think she would need specialty care for this operation. Butter is definitely my baby. She is the sweetest, most attentive, and best friend that I've ever had. She has been there for me through the worst of the worst. Although I am her favorite human, my 8-year-old nephew is definitely close second. She also is very bonded to her daughter and I don't think they could ever live apart. They are a bonded pair and would suffer if one lost the other. I work in the drug and alcohol treatment field which is not the highest paying field but it means a lot to me to help people. I live paycheck to paycheck. Helping Butter would mean the world to me. I would give anything and I mean anything for her to be healthy.

Beau

Beau is a 9 year old Great Pyrenees in gainesville, FL, who needs $350 for Deep Ear Cleaning with Antibiotics & Follow Up.

gainesville, FL

I’m got Beau at 10 weeks old. We were stable for a long time. We were displaced by hurricane Irma, direct hit, we came back from the shelter to a destroyed home. We finally became stable for a while until now. We have a place to live, but that’s it. Beau has a hard time with his ears and it’s gotten worse. I’ve tried everything, but now I haven’t work due to an illness. He is currently not well. Beau contracted a staph infection from a groom in 2023. He has always had very bad ears that need constant treatment. He also needs medicated baths, which I do now, but his ears are a very sensitive issue and he needs to have deep cleaning every few months from a vet. Right now it’s so bad that when he scratched his ears he wines from the pain and shakes his head constantly. His ears stink badly. I’ve never had an animal that gave so much love. It’s rare and we can’t live without each other. Attached at the hip. He is very sweet and funny and for such a large dog he thinks he is a lap dog. So cute. He loves everyone, mostly. He knows when someone has bad intentions. He loves cats and loves to play with other dogs. People love him and call him a polar bear. Beautiful, sweet and gentle. I lost my job last July as I have a disability, which became worse last year due to mold and sewage in the apartment we were in. I’ve lost everything to get out and I lost my car as well. Right now I only get 1420 a month and are just barely surviving. I am looking for work.
