She has a lesion on her left leg and he thinks she has infection he gave me these 3 medicine to treat it. They gave her 3 types of medication gabapentin 0.2 MG metacam 0.3ml and cefazolin 5ml. Dr. Robert A. Wagner VMD, ABVP-ECM Bella has been there for me after my father died. She is very affectionate and loving and she's a huge emotional support in my life. She deserves to have a fair chance at life and I feel like with her being able to go to the vet if I had the money she would have a chance. I have a caregiver and the caregiver made me a go fund me then took off with the money she raised $510.00 and then left and quit her job so I had to make a police report they can't do nothing about it. I wouldn't ask for help if I didn't need it.

Kobe has been part of our family for nine wonderful years. We brought him home after our beloved 13-year-old Boston Terrier passed away, and he helped fill our hearts again. He’s my daughter’s best friend, full of personality, and always thinks he’s tougher than he is. His favorite place is curled up beside my daughter, and he brings so much love and happiness to our family every single day. Kobe was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), which has caused a ruptured spinal disc that is putting pressure on his spinal cord. He has lost strength and balance in his left leg, and despite medication and weeks of conservative treatment, his condition has worsened. His veterinarian has recommended urgent surgery to prevent further damage and give him the best chance at recovery. Kobe is our best friend and a cherished member of our family. His sweet personality and unconditional love have brought us so much joy. Seeing him still fighting and wanting to enjoy life gives us hope. We love him more than words can say and just want the chance to help him recover and keep making memories with us. My husband and I both work full time. Kobe’s emergency surgery is beyond what we can afford. He’s a beloved member of our family, and we’re doing everything to save him. Lola was the runt of a litter. She was being picked on by the other pups, we could not refuse, so we brought her home. She was by my side through a separation, a divorce, 3 moves, a new relationship. Now she lives in the country and loves helping me tend to our livestock. She used to hang out with chickens and goats all day, loves yo play ball, but now just stays on couch and sleeps. And its sad. She tore her CCL about 4 months ago running off porch to chase a possum. Very quoted about 5500 to 6 grand for surgery. She is now clicking when she walks, which means it progressed. We have a follow up at end of September. If we cant raise enough to have surgery, we can have a custom brace made for about 1500. Lola is my ride or die. My ex did not like her, at all. He was very mean to her. When I left that relationship, I took her with me. She was by my side through some really dark days. I would not be walking this earth if it was not for my lola bug. She is my everything and I feel like I am failing her. She tore her CCL. Surgery was quoted at iver 6 grand. I do not have 6 grand. Now she starting making a clicking noise when she walks. So I think she tore her meniscus. We gave a follow up with vet at end of September.

i rescued this little girl almost a year ago … she jis showed up starving and covered w fleas and pregnant. i raised her puppies and found them good homes and gor her fixed. she runs to her old pack sometimes. one night i couldn’t find her but she was under my car and when i carried her ih i saw her leg was flopping around. i was devastated. her arm is broken ih the worst place … it’s under her shoulder ih 3 parts, bc i’m in woodlake it’s also been very frustrating bc i borrows over $2000 for emergency ans follow up and they both didn’t have a surgeon and told me i would have to go to la or san francisco to get surgery! i had to research and i was so mad no one told me there were surgeons in tulare. i took her there she’s an angel. i lost my souls dog last year and still cry that she’s gone. i believe my would dog sent winnie to me bc she knew i would hate my life without her … winnie is a sweet fun dog … i’m in a horrible situation bc of domestic violence which has ruined my life and i’m dealing w pro bono legal to get my things back. also ai has taken over the jobs i usually get, i only have a limited amount of time to get her leg fixed before the problem escalates…

Kiniza came into the care of Baw Baw Animal Welfare suffering from a troubling skin condition that desperately needed attention. With her health uncertain, Kiniza was brought to Dr. Pet Hospital for testing. Her veterinary team first needed to rule out two serious illnesses: canine parvovirus and distemper. Thankfully, both tests came back negative—a huge relief for everyone caring for her. Based on her examination, veterinarians believe he is suffering from fungal dermatitis, a skin infection that can cause significant irritation and discomfort if left untreated. Kiniza has now started oral medication along with treatments applied directly to her skin to fight the infection and give her damaged skin a chance to heal. Her recovery will require consistency and time. She will need regular topical treatments, careful hygiene, and a follow-up veterinary visit to make sure the infection is responding and her skin is improving. Baw Baw Animal Welfare is committed to seeing her through that process, but every examination, test, medication, and follow-up adds to the cost of giving Kiniza the care she needs. A New Beginning for Jeremy & Morty

For Jeremy and Morty, learning how to simply be dogs has been a journey of its own. These two small Dachshund mixes were rescued by Rags to Riches on August 28 from a severe hoarding situation in Holiday, Florida. They were among six dogs discovered after more than 20 others had already been removed from conditions the rescue described as some of the worst they had ever encountered. Both arrived carrying the effects of that life with them. Jeremy, weighing less than 10 pounds, came in with damaged, shredded ears and had experienced such food deprivation that he needed to be hand-fed and showed mild resource guarding. He had never learned to walk on a leash, wasn't potty trained, and seemed unfamiliar with simply being outside. Once in foster care, severe separation anxiety also emerged, particularly at night. Yet underneath that fear is an incredibly loving little dog. Jeremy adores other dogs, children, and, most of all, snuggling. Morty, at around 11 pounds, was one of the most shut-down dogs rescued from the home. Initially, he was too frightened to tolerate a collar or leash and was considered a serious flight risk. But when he thought no one was watching, his foster family began seeing glimpses of the real Morty on camera. Secretly playing with toys and discovering just how much he loves squeakers and treats. Both boys are slowly learning that they are safe now. Rags to Riches has also made sure their physical needs are addressed. Jeremy and Morty have been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested for heartworm, along with receiving additional preventive and supportive care. Their medical care may be complete for now, but healing from their past will take time. Their foster families are patiently teaching them the everyday things they never had the opportunity to learn while giving them the structure, security, and love they need to build confidence.
