Thor came into my life as a Sweetest Day gift. Thor has been and is a blessing to me. We have been together since Sweetest Day 2012. Thor was born July 28, 2012. He was approximately ten weeks old at that time. Thor connected with me right away and we have been a team ever since. Sometimes he could be stubborn. I already had a 65 pound black lab mix named Sookie. She was already with me, I adopted her from the Animal Welfare League at eight weeks old until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge last year almost 16 years together. Thor jumped right in as top dog. from the start. I always said I should of named him Napoleon. He’s 23 pounds and a lot of bark. I love this guy. Thor has a growth in his mouth by his right jaw hinge in the lower jaw that needs removal. My primary vet did an aspirate of the mass and the lab results show it’s benign. The vet Dr. Bari gave him an antibiotic thinking it might possibly be cellulitis. It didn’t reduce the mass. Dr. Bari scheduled a surgery but after giving Thor anesthesia and being able to examine his mouth determined that it was too risky for him to perform due to the location of the mass by lymph modes and major arteries. He said I’d need a surgeon specializing in dental /oral to remove it and I need to get a CT Scan which he does not have. I received an estimate from Dr. Laura Sasser, she has had thirty years experience. She is at Advanced Veterinary Dental Care and Oral Surgery 1186 W. Roosevelt Rd. It breaks my heart to let this condition continue. I want to help him. He’s a senior but if his quality of life can be improved then I want to do whatever I can to try and make that happen. This could help him. It must be a bit uncomfortable for him, located between the right cheek and on the outside of his lower row of teeth, next to the gum line. I am senior on a fixed income. The surgery is going to cost an estimated between $3500 to $5500 depending on what the CT scan shows.

Every day with him has been a blessing. During a routine dental cleaning at Thrive Broadway, what I thought was an abscess led to the discovery of an oral tumor. A biopsy was performed, and we were referred to Heart of Texas Oral Surgery. On Friday, September 11th, Wally was diagnosed with oral melanoma, an aggressive cancer. Due to the tumor's location and progression, surgery is not an option. His cancer is terminal. We have two more oncology appointments ahead, but our focus is no longer on a cure. Instead, it's on making every day count for Wally by keeping him comfortable, surrounded by love, and enjoying his favorite adventures, including a beach day and lots of Starbucks pup cups. ❤️ Like many pet parents, I'm doing everything I can for Wally, but the cost of his care and medications is overwhelming. I SEARCHED FOR HIM FOR 48 HOURS BEFORE FINALLY SEEING HIS PICTURE ON A FACEBOOK LOST AND FOUND PETS PAGE. JACK HAS SERIOUS INJURIES TO HIS PELVIS AND SEVERAL MINOR ABRASIONS AND CUTS, INCLUDING ROAD RASH OVER HIS ENTIRE BODY. MY HEART IS BROKEN THINKING ABOUT HIS TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES THAT DAY, FIRST WITH THE STORM AND THEN THE ACCIDENT. HE IS BEING CARED FOR BY THE PAPAGO HUMANE SOCIETY FAR FROM MY HOME. Coco has been diagnosed with IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia), a life-threatening autoimmune condition where her body attacks her own red blood cells. She's already had a blood transfusion and spent three days hospitalized in the ER, with treatment estimates ranging from $12,000–$15,000 up to $65,000 for a full week of intensive care — with no guarantee of recovery. She improved briefly on steroids, but her condition has since relapsed, and she now needs another blood transfusion along with ongoing monitoring and treatment. Coco has been so much more than a pet to me — she's been my constant. When I was young and struggling, she was the one thing that made everything feel okay. As I grew up, she never stopped being by my side, protecting me and standing with me through every hard moment. She's brave, gentle, and endlessly loyal, and she's given me more comfort and love than I could ever put into words. Now, for the first time, she needs me the way I've always needed her. My dear one was just taken to the vet the week and a half ago and checked out okay for urinary issues. But in the last two days now she's been having lethargy, some vomiting her food up and wants to sleep all day and night. She looks generally unwell. I need to take her back to the vet a third time in the last couple weeks just to get blood work done and maybe possibly x-ray. As I was explaining above I think that she either has a virus or something going on because she's an older cat. She's been eating and drinking. But she doesn't chew her food all up when she bites into her pellets. So it might be a tooth issue. She is my lifelong companion my therapy animal. She is so special because she is the kindest cat you'll ever meet in your life. And she's always there for you very loyal. She loves affection to give and to get. poor time jobs.
