Chicki is my service dog. I’m on disability. She ate a big portion of Italian nougat that caused her acute pancreatitis. I took her to my local vet that reassured me they could treat her there and no need to er expensive dr bill. That was Monday morning at fist symptoms showed up. She was send home to monitor closely and bring her back on Wednesday. Was treated with subcutaneous fluids at the office. At home she was worse and I took her to another vet that gave her oral vitamins and sent her home. In the morning she crushed after giving her her vitamins so I rushed her to the initial dr for help. Her kidneys fail as a complication and they put her on iv fluids. She was there for about one hour. They could not keep her overnight so the dr said she need it 24/7 ivs and they sent her records to blue pearl hospital and said they were waiting for her. so I drove back to pick her up and drove 1h and 30 minutes to Blue Pearl hospital. They placed me in a room with her on critical condition. I waited. I could not understand why she was not rushed in. They confused her with another dog that need it an ultrasound. She was rushed to the back after and I assume she was getting the life saver ivs she need it for her kidneys. Hours go by. Shift change. Paper work with estimate delayed. Finally I was given the amount of the deposit and treatment. During all this time I though she was getting treated. She was not. I paid the initial $3,000 on credit and they allowed me to say goodbye to her. She was not on iv’s. This is 4 hours after arrival. They won’t start treatment until getting the initial payment. My poor baby need it iv’s and pain and antivomit meds since Monday morning to save her life. This series of unfortunate events caused her kidneys to fail from dehydration. She is hanging for her life. The bill will go up for several days and I already used all my savings on the Bills from the other 3 vet visits. I already max out my credit and they will keep my dog if I can’t pay the remaining balance that is building up. Chiki comes to dr appointments. Every where I am or go she is with me. She has safe my life and I’m failing her. She is my alert dog. I love this dog. She is my family, the reason I get up every day. My life and companion. I have no other family. She is my service dog and my life. Is just me and her. I’m a senior with poor vision so I apologize for any gramatical errors. She is currently at Blue Pearl in Louisville. I’m not asking for money for me. I need the donation to go to Blue Pearl hospital in Louisville ky and I need all your prayers to help her pull through out this nightmare. I don’t resent the vet clinics that postponed the treatment she needed Monday morning till late Tuesday. I need her back. I’m a mess without her. Acute pancreatitis with secondary kidney failure. She needs iv fluids to try to get her kidneys to bounce back. Possible several days hospitalized. She is my service dog. I love this dog. She is my family, the reason I get up every day. She can still be our confident, silly, zoomie-loving queen — but with additional education, we hope to give her more options when that perfect home finally comes along. Dudley is our sweet 5-year-old Basset Hound and a deeply loved member of our family. He has a gentle, loyal spirit and has already shown incredible courage through lymphoma treatment and six months of remission. Our original veterinarian noticed swelling near Dudley’s neck and suspected an enlarged lymph node, raising concern that his lymphoma had returned. They referred us back to his oncologist. Today, the oncologist confirmed that Dudley’s lymph nodes look good—the swelling is actually a thyroid tumor. He needs a $3,800 CT scan and an estimated $5,000 surgery to remove it. Dudley brings comfort, laughter, and unconditional love to our home every day. After everything he endured during lymphoma treatment, seeing him remain so trusting and loving means the world to us. We want to give our brave boy the best chance to recover and enjoy many more happy years with our family. We have already spent about $10,000 treating Dudley’s lymphoma and we cannot manage another $8,800 for his CT scan and thyroid tumor surgery. Milo is my sweet four year old boy who I’ve had since he was a kitten, after his mom was rescued from the streets just before she had his litter. He’s feisty at first but has loved me immeasurably through all stages of life, most recently nursing school. Milo is about to have his third bladder stone surgery in just over a year, with the previous two being in July ‘25 and April ‘26. Despite dietary changes and treatment management, they keep recurring. He will be having his surgery this upcoming week at Vine Veterinarian, as we cannot wait too long to do the surgery and risk a blockage. Milo has been by my side through everything in life, and I could not imagine my life without him. He greets me at the door every day, sleeps with me, and curls up on the couch when I need him. He tolerates my family’s dogs, my affection, and my long hours in nursing clinicals and studying. I am fully committed to helping Milo with all his medical needs, but three surgeries in a year, as a student, has been a lot to handle and has used most of my savings. If anyone is able to help, I would be so, so appreciative, as the vet and I work together to try to find the cause for these calcium oxalate stone reoccurrences to keep Milo healthy for good 🩷

Over the past few months Ranger has been struggling going to the bathroom and having pain when he tries. We moved to North Carolina recently and the vets here figured out that Ranger had developed a perineal hernia that is requiring surgery to fix. He is being treated at Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral. Noah and I met in college when I had already adopted Goose, Ranger’s brother. Noah had adopted Ranger the week we met. He is our first dog together and has been with us this whole relationship. Him and his brother are my first babies and I am heartbroken to see him struggling so much. We are turning to the community for support because we have just moved 8 hours from home. I am a recent grad and we do not have a lot of savings built up for a surgery of this cost.

Gambit’s recovery means everything to our family. He’s been with us since he was a pup, growing into a loyal, loving part of our lives. I normally don’t like asking people for help, but I’m asking for it now for my girl Chanel. Chanel is only 1½ years old, and I adopted her from the Humane Society about a year ago. Since then, she’s become a huge part of my family. She’s one of the most active and loving dogs I’ve ever had. She loves being outside, playing fetch, exploring through the woods, carrying sticks around, and playing with other dogs. She especially loves playing with her big sister Kaia, my German Shepherd mix. And if you know Chanel, you know she’s extremely clingy 😂 — she loves sitting right on my foot and absolutely hates being alone. Unfortunately, Chanel tore the ligament in her knee and now needs surgery. She’s already been seen by her veterinarian and had X-rays taken. I contacted Magnolia Veterinary Surgery, and they gave me an estimated cost of approximately $4,000 for her surgery. I’m trying to raise $4,500 to help cover her surgery, medications, follow-up visits, X-rays, and other expenses during her recovery. Chanel is only a year and a half old and has so much life ahead of her. I just want to see her back outside, running around, playing fetch, exploring, playing with Kaia, and being the clingy little girl she is. Torn CCL/ ACL, and in need of surgical attention, at magnolia veterinary surgery Chanel is more than just a pet to me and my family. She is a part of our family and brings so much love, happiness, and personality into our lives. At only a year and a half old, Chanel is still so young and has so much life ahead of her. She is playful, loving, and always finds a way to make us smile, even on difficult days. Seeing Chanel injured and struggling to walk has been extremely hard for all of us. She doesn’t understand why she can’t run, play, or do the things she normally enjoys. As her family, it hurts knowing that she is in pain and that we can’t simply explain to her what is happening. Her recovery matters so much to me because I want Chanel to have the chance to get back to being the happy, active dog she has always been. I want to see her running around, playing, and enjoying life without pain or limitations. She deserves that chance. Chanel has given my family unconditional love, and now it is our turn to give her the same love and support. Her recovery means bringing our family member back to the life she deserves. I never imagined that I would have to ask for help to take care of one of my family members, but that is where I am today. Chanel needs medical care to recover from her injury, and the cost of her treatment and surgery is more than my family can comfortably afford on our own. I am doing everything I can to get Chanel the care she needs, but the expenses have become overwhelming. Between the surgery, veterinary visits, medications, and recovery, the financial burden continues to grow. As much as I wish I could cover everything myself, I know that I need help to give Chanel the best chance at a full recovery. Ace is my sweet 3-year-old rescue. I saved him at just 4 months old after he was abandoned in a college dorm, where he had been neglected and kept in a cage most of the day. I brought him home on Thanksgiving Day, just before he was going to be euthanized. He has been by my side ever since and means the absolute world to me. Ace has torn ACLs in both of his knees and needs TPLO surgery on both legs. His knees now pop when he walks, and I’m desperate to get him the treatment he needs before his mobility gets worse. The estimate for just one knee is $4,674, meaning we are facing thousands of dollars in veterinary expenses to get Ace back on his feet. Ace is more than just my dog—he’s my family and has been by my side since I rescued him as a puppy. After everything he went through early in life, he still grew into the sweetest, most loving dog. He got a second chance when I rescued him, and now I want to give him that same chance again by helping him walk and play without pain. I’m a 20-year-old nursing student who works to support myself, and the unexpected cost of two TPLO surgeries is more than I can afford alone. I’m doing everything I can to raise the money myself, but I need help giving Ace the treatment he deserves.
