For most of his life, Post knew only neglect. This senior Beagle is one of the dogs rescued from Ridglan Farms by Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation. Like so many dogs from this facility, Post arrived with significant medical needs that had gone untreated for years. One of the most serious issues was his dental health. A recent veterinary visit revealed extensive dental disease that was causing Post pain and discomfort. The damage was so severe that veterinarians had no choice but to remove 15 teeth. While the procedure was necessary, it was also a reminder of just how long Post had been living without the care every dog deserves. The good news is that Post is now recovering and finally getting the medical attention he has needed for years. With his painful teeth removed, he can begin to enjoy life with greater comfort and a better quality of life as he lives out his new life. As a senior dog with a history of neglect, Post requires ongoing veterinary treatment, medications, diagnostics, and supportive care. These expenses add up quickly, and Saving Sage is committed to ensuring he receives everything he needs to thrive. We rescued Gucci in 2024 after he had been a medical surrender. Gucci is a very sweet American Bully who doesn’t like loud sounds. His previous owner surrendered him after he attacked the lawnmower. His leg was amputated at the shoulder so he only has three legs, but that doesn’t stop him from getting around and playing with his brothers. We are experiencing a situation where our dog has a foreign object stuck and he’s unable to eat and he’s barely holding water down right now he’s just laying on the floor. The only time he will get up is if he hears someone pour water in a bowl, but judging by his skin, we can tell he is starting to be dehydrated you will need a surgery to remove the foreign object Gucci, is our 80 pound bully. He was surrendered because the owner cut his leg off so he’s a tripod. He has two 4 legged best friends Axl and Diesel that he plays with. He loves to greet you when you get home. He loves to talk if you’re eating ice cream and don’t give him any. He’s just a teddy bear who loves to cuddle with his 14 year old big sister Amelia I lost my job and we are trying to live just on my husbands income. We just don’t have the means in any way to pay for his emergency vet bills since we have 3 kids with 1 income

It is both my girls Precious the Pug and Queenie Chihuahua mix they are senior dogs.They mean the world to me rescued Precious when she was 8 now she is 14. They keep me going.i recently lost a love one and they are my comfort.When I cry they wipe away my tears.Love taking them on daily walks precious actually acts more like Queenies age 10.I low income social sec I was using a toothpaste for enzymes in there mouth but didn’t seem to help the plaque and tarter.So I purchased a product from on the internet in which seemed fine then I tooked at there teeth all there teeth were falling out and decaying Precious needed major cleaning and and teeth pulled also has very inflamed gums on both of them.The product got good reviews but I am sure it is the cause Precious loves to bark she is funny because if the person starts petting her she stops barking but once you stop she starts barking again.They get along with cats I know I have to leave with my son and his wife and they have 2 cats I am on a fixed income I hardly survive but I have always taken good care of my girls.This makes me so sad that I have to reach out.I refuse to place them in foster homes they can’t be separated and it would hurt so bad.I feel they would be devastated they are my shadows

I rescued her at 6 months other from a very abusive person. I seen the guy drop kick this tiny little super adorable puppy for peeing on the floor. But he never let her outside so what coice did she have. Then after that he tried to just take her water away. I couldn't stand it I had to rescue her. I saved her life then about a month later she saved mine in a fire. I never would of woke up, I have a estimate from lockwood veterinary services to have a lump removed off her face that I fear could be cancer. Shes had a cancerous lump removed off her face in the past the past few days she hasn't wanted to eat or drink much so im getting really worried. She is my best friend, she is my fur baby my velcro dog. Shes my perscribed ESA. She is my life source. Shes all I have in this messed up world and I really really need to her to be around shes me rock my serenity my anxiety reliver. Shes my bestest buddy in the whole world she goes everywhere with me. Please help me save her. You would ultimately, be saving my life too not just hers. There really truly isn't words that can fully express what it would mean to me. It would mean everything. Shes my furbaby.. She helps me through everything shes my life source I dont know what I'd do with out her I dont know how id make it through.

I have had Roxie for 12 years, she came into my life after I moved to ND with my husband I had no family or friends and was very lonely, my husband worked very long hours as a truck driver he gifted me a puppy when he saw how depressed I was. She was truly a blessing, my husband and i split at the same time I lost my mother so i moved back to Texas Roxie by my side every step of the way., Roxie has never had health issues and i thank God every day, but she recently started losing her teeth, i took her to the vet, it was suggested he teeth should be removed. I could not commit to the procedure due to the loss of my job but now her lower gums are swollen like maybe a tooth broke off, i know she must be in pain but she is a brave little dog I love Roxie so much and can’t imagine life without her, she has been with me during my lowest moments always happy and playful i believe she is an Angel in doggie form. She doesn’t deserve to have any pain or suffering. I pray her dental issues have not affected her organs like the vet described. I lost my job recently and alone in a place i don’t have family or friends. I am actively searching for employment, i recently turned 60 and I’m worried i won’t be able to support myself, Roxie is so important to me i would do anything to have her better.

I rescued Seko about 9 months ago from heartbreaking, terrible conditions. Despite his rough past, this sweet French Bulldog learned to trust and became my whole world. He isn't just a pet; he is my child. He now shares a safe, loving home with his inseparable sibling, Sevlo. Watching Seko finally experience a happy life is my greatest joy. My world stopped when Seko suddenly lost his balance and couldn't walk. We rushed him to Dr. Jeremy O'Neill at Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH). He suspects a severe brain inflammation or vestibular issue. Seko desperately needs a specialized MRI and a spinal tap to get a definitive diagnosis and the right treatment, but the emergency costs are overwhelming. Seko has a beautiful spirit that lights up any room. Even now, while struggling with his balance and vertigo, he tries so hard to be his usual loving self. He is the ultimate cuddle bug. His bond with his brother Sevlo is incredibly pure; Sevlo knows something is wrong and stays right by his side. Seko is a fighter, and I just want my happy, playful boy back. This sudden $5,000+ emergency MRI expense hit me hard. I have no emergency fund, and my medical credit applications were denied. Seeing my sweet rescued boy healthy and walking alongside his brother Sevlo again would mean the absolute world to me.

Monkey was born by our other cat named little bit. Monkey had 1 brother and 2 sisters that got severally sick and infected with the feline virus called limping calichi virus, very highly fatel to kittens and contagious.. we kept the others isolated and did everything in our power to save them... Monkey at the time was perfectly fine and still himself... Then we thought he just had a little eye cold We cautiously watched the eye and cleaned it properly and made it as comfortable as possible and it only got worse and now we are facing a big life decision, monkey has a bad bacterial infection that's not improving and he needs urgent surgery to remove his eye or it's going to eventually spread and we will lose him to, only thing is we don't have the funds to pay for this.. it's $2000 Monkey is our baby! Not a cat or some pet. He belongs to us as a child our baby! He's the most sweetest playful little guy. He used to be so wild and happy and now he's miserable and we are devastated,and so worried about him My fiance works self employed contractor and hasn't had much work lately, I am currently unemployed due to kidney disease and other personal reasons... My Charly came with his name. He was adopted and returned. I rescued him, have been together 7 years. He is for the most part black lab. He loves his cat and everyone he meets. He is the official doorbell. Welcome all! He is a sweet, loving pup. Plays with joy in his heart. Doesn’t run, but flys with a big silly grin on his face. Favorite subject is food! Favorite thing to do, camping. Love him!! Charly has a soft tissue sarcoma on his left front foot. Our Vet informed us that the remedy will require surgical removal of the tumor, including amputation of toes. Dr. Justyn Rizzardi DVM at Banfield Pet Hospital. I am hoping for favorable outcome to get Charly flying again! Charly, Chuck, Charles, Black fuzzy butt, etc. is special. He is a “dog’s dog” As a soulmate, you can’t get any better. Just to be near you and love you is his goal in life. He doesn’t have many dislikes. Only likes rain if we can play in it.. Does love a good snow storm. Obeys every command that he wants to. Camping is our bonding time. Freedom to fly, and hog all of the blankets in the tent!! I was unfortunate to be injured at work in 1983. I have been struggling with chronic pain, and now heart failure. Worked full time, couldn’t save. I live on fixed income and medical bills never end. Charly means everything to me. I can’t let his live be ruined by this cancer

I never grew up with dogs and was afraid of them due to OCD. As part of challenging myself, I touched a dog for the first time, which inspired me to adopt during COVID. I contacted many rescues and was sent a photo of a 2-month-old puppy found abandoned with siblings. I drove 4 hours round-trip to meet him and knew he was the one. I adopted him and named him Teddy. He is now 5 years 10 months. This past Wednesday night, my dog Teddy was struck by a car in a hit-and-run. We rushed him to the pet ER. He suffered a possible traumatic brain injury, lung contusions, and was initially unable to walk. He is now in ICU receiving oxygen and neurology care at Garden State Veterinary Services. Thankfully, he is alert, moving his legs, and doctors are very hopeful for a full recovery. Teddy isn’t just a pet—he’s my emotional support animal, my constant companion, & my best friend. He has been by my side through some of the hardest moments of my life, comforting me when I struggle, staying close when I cry, & snuggling with me every night. He loves peanut butter & chicken, and although he hates having his teeth brushed, he’ll happily lick the toothpaste just to make me laugh. I’ve been struggling with my mental health for the last few years and I haven’t been able to work. Teddy has been a crucial part of my recovery. Sadly, my family can’t support me financially, and my resources are so limited. Your support would mean the world to me.
