My dog is a 9-year-old pit mix rescue who has been a beloved member of my family for years. She lives indoors with me and our other dog Dolcè and is not just a pet, but my constant companion and best friend. She spends her days by my side, whether we’re relaxing at home, going for walks, or enjoying time outdoors together. My sweet girl is currently fighting for her life after a devastating medical emergency that led to multiple surgeries, blood and plasma transfusions, and ongoing critical care. The past few days have been filled with fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak as we do everything possible to give her a chance to recover. She is affectionate, loyal, and has a gentle personality that makes everyone who meets her fall in love with her. She loves being around people and enjoys spending time with her family, whether that’s relaxing at home, going for walks, or simply following me from room to room. She has always been happiest when she is close to the people she loves. Like many families, I was not financially prepared for multiple emergency surgeries. Asking for help is not easy for me. I have always tried to handle challenges on my own, but my love for my dog is greater than my pride. Having her healthy again would mean everything to me.

Pinky is a 14 year old Miniature Schnauzer in Jacksonville, FL, who needs $10,000 for MRI and Radiation for Brain Tumor.

I adopted Pinky 7 years ago from a rescue in NYC. They estimated he was 5-8years old at the time. He was rescued from a severe hoarding/puppy mill case in Georgia where he had lived his life in a cage. He was used for breeding and was found in horrible conditions along with 700 other dogs. He came with a lot of trauma, a paralyzed ear, missing teeth and fear of humans. February 2025 Pinky experienced a cluster grand-mal seizure and was taken to the ER. I followed up with UF veterinary hospital for an MRI, where he was diagnosed with a brain tumor on his frontal lobe. In March 2025, I had the brain tumor removed. He was able to stop seizure meds in September. May 2026 Pinky’s seizures started again. He needs a new MRI and potentially surgery or radiation. Pinky is my one woman man, the most loyal dog out of my 4 dogs. He has shown so much growth and resilience overcoming his fear of humans. He has learned what it is to be loved and have confidence. His brothers are a basset hound, pitbull and pitbull-chow mix. Ge has so mu ch more life left to live, it is hard to see a brain tumor cut this short. I am a social worker, I work 3 jobs to make ends meet with my 4 rescue dogs. Unfortunately I do not have pet insurance for Pinky and his MRI and brain surgery cost me $7000 last year. I do not have the $2000 to get a new MRI or potentially $5-8000 for radiation.

Henry was brought to me by my dad in September 2021 and we lived alone until 2025 when I got with my husband. 4-5 months ago my husband bought his house mate home. His housemate attacked him while I was at work. He has superficial bite marks on his head and leg. A deeper laceration under his left leg that will wound repair and he has ruptured blood vessels in right eye. He is not using his left leg at all and limps/ hops if he gets up. I bring his food and water to him. My little Henry man is special to me because he saved my life. I was extremely depressed after I lost my mother unexpectedly and he brought light back to my life! He is the most sweet, calm guy around and he always down for a trip down the street or 24 hours. He loves to be your lap getting rubs until your hand gets tired. I love him so much! I do not start my new job until 7/1/26 and spent the money I had at the emergency vet. I just bought $1000 of diabetic supplies for my T1 and this was unexpected. I feel awful and just want my baby to feel better

Blaze has been part of our family since 2020. I knew he was meant to be mine the moment I saw him on our local animal shelter’s website. He lives indoors with me and my daughter and is truly family. Blaze loves snacks, belly rubs, and playtime. He is loyal, loving, and always by our side. He brings joy, comfort, and laughter to our home every day and is deeply loved. Blaze receives his veterinary care through Banfield Pet Hospital. Recently, a mass was found and evaluated by his veterinarian. A fine needle aspiration was performed, and the results showed that the mass is a mast cell tumor. His veterinary team has recommended surgical removal of the tumor as the next step in his treatment. Blaze is more than a pet—he’s my son. He is loving, goofy, and always knows how to make us smile. He follows me everywhere, greets us with excitement, and loves being part of everything we do. He shares a special bond with my daughter and brings comfort, laughter, and unconditional love to our home every day. Our family simply wouldn’t be the same without him. As a single mom on one income, the cost of Blaze’s surgery is a significant financial burden. Blaze is family, and I want to give him every chance to live a long, happy life. Having him healthy again would mean the world to me and my daughter. It would bring peace of mind.

I got Blu for my 14th birthday. He is my first dog. We have had Blu since he was just a puppy. Blu lives at home with me, my mom, and my sister. Blu is about to celebrate his 9th birthday in July. Blu was recently diagnosed with Peritoneopericardial Diaphragmatic Hernia or PPDH. There is a large hole in his diaphragm which allows his abdominal organs to travel in and out of the pericardium, the sac around the heart. He recently had an emergency surgery to fix this problem at Emergency Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA. Blu is very smart and will learn any trick for a treat. He loves to catch sun rays in the summer heat and play in the snow during the dead of a New England winter. If he’s not taking naps, he is with his little sister Nova. If he could be friends with everyone, he would be. He is always excited to meet new people or even say hi to old friends. I work as a pharmacy technician and only make enough to support me and my dogs. There is not much wiggle room I can make to pay such a large bill. With Blu healthy again, my cuddle buddy can come home.

I was only given one week of pain medication, and time is critical for her recovery. Milly was overly excited to be at her favorite place the dog park on Saturday 6/13 when she decided to jump out the window of my SUV. She landed on the concrete and broke her Femur. After her emergency room visit at Wentworth Animal Hospital the veterinarian told me she needs surgery to install plates and screws to walk and live comfortably again. Milly is a talker.
