Cricket is a privately rescued dog that I took in for my family after being in a drug situation where she was not properly cared for & due to unforeseeable circumstances her family could not continue to safely keep her in the home around children due to Cricket doing better with adults only Cricket has previously been to her vet for labwork & testing & is experiencing all the signs & symptoms of canine cushings disease. We recently had a Cortisol Snap Test done on her but her body failed to respond to that test alone & give us accurate answers so her vet suggested a different & more better test which is a little more expensive & takes longer to do which we would like to try. We would love to be able to take her back to Dr Michelle Spangler at Old Dominion Veterinary Clinic for a better test to determine the Cushings Disease My bond with Cricket is special because she has been through & endured so much in life before I rescued her that I just feel her pain & want to try & give her the best, she has became one of my babies I need help because I live on 1300.00 that has to pay a housing & car loan payment each month, housing payment over 700.00 & car loan over 300.00, I have utility bills that run 300.00 or better each month, cable/internet, groceries, household, & other pet expenses, & due to a local garage that I trusted to fix my car that I had paid over 600.00 to rigged it & messed it up more I have inquired once more another new 900.00 mechanics bill to have my car straightened back out from one garage

Novah has been a part of my life for more than a decade. I got her when I was 18 years old, and from the very beginning, she was an incredibly active, playful little puppy who was always finding a way to get into trouble. She had so much personality and energy, and she quickly became much more than just a pet. I grew up with Novah, and she grew up with me. She has been there through so many different stages of my life, and I truly cannot imagine my life without her. We have shared more years and memories together than I can count. She has always been loving, loyal, goofy, and full of life. Diagnosis: Novah has a mass located in the throat/chest area. The mass was discovered during an X-ray at her regular veterinarian. At this time, we do not yet know whether the mass is cancerous or another type of growth. Treatment Needed: Novah needs further diagnostic testing, including a needle aspiration and CT scan, to determine the type, size, and extent of the mass. Depending on the results, surgery and additional treatment may be necessary. Veterinary Hospital/Clinic Providing Care: BluePearl Pet Hospital – Des Moines, Iowa. Her recovery matters to me and my family because we simply aren’t ready to say goodbye. After everything we have been through together, I want to give her every opportunity to get better and have more happy, healthy years with us. She has been there for me for so many years, and now I want to be there for her when she needs me most. Last year, we lost our beloved dog, Niyah, to cancer. When she was diagnosed, we did everything we possibly could to give her a chance. We went through surgery and chemotherapy, hoping we could have more time with her. Unfortunately, we lost her just six short weeks after her diagnosis. During that time, we exhausted every financial resource we had. When we recently learned that our other dog, Novah, has a mass in her throat that is essentially bending her esophagus and interfering with her ability to breathe properly, we were devastated. Not only are we facing the fear of potentially going through another heartbreaking diagnosis, but we are also in a completely different financial position than we were a year ago as we are still trying to recover financially from Niyah's treatment. We would do anything to help Novah and give her the best chance possible, but the financial burden has become overwhelming. The thought of having to make decisions about her care based on what we can afford, rather than what she needs, is incredibly heartbreaking.

Hi there to any & all who is reading this. My brother bought Zoey home about a month before my 16th birthday in 2017 after losing our first dog 3 years prior. She was the last in the litter box & the cutest terror at first, but quickly adjusted & was trained to be the best girl ever. She is the sweetest, most protective & silly dog I’ve ever met. She’s all my family knows. Zoey was diagnosed was a mammary tumor, which is something common in adult female dogs if not spayed. The tumor is not diagnosed as something deadly, however it grows fast & will eventually catch up to her health. She would need a surgery to remove all cyst along with the sacs. If all goes well, we are going to be moving forward along side with Animal Medical Hospital in Hempstead, NY Zoey has been the only dog we have had since losing our family dog we had from 2009-2014. Our house would fill with silence without her. We have always invested what we could to make sure she had the best life she could live with us. Mission accomplished because she shows us everyday how much she loves us despite the pain she may be in. We simply don’t have the time or money to get her surgery done before her diagnosis takes a turn that we can’t come back from. The tumor grows so fast, we don’t have the time to save especially with our little kids being in school & having extra expenses.

Stormy is a 10 month old Pomapoo, she is very rambunctious but she’s also such a good girl! She loves playing with her human brother, running around outside and eating any and everything in sight! Almost 2 months ago, July 16th, Stormy broke her front left leg. We took her to the vet for a recheck on September 7th and they informed us her leg was not healing and had now gotten an infection from the bones breaking down. They said she needs corrective surgery or amputation urgently, neither of which we can afford. Petersburg Vet Clinic will be operating. We want to do everything we can to save our sweet girl’s leg. She is one of the lights of our life next to her human brother. We just want to give her the best quality of life and allow her to still be able to run around as much as she loves to. We got her as a small puppy and she has given our family so much joy, we love her so much. We really need help! Over the past 3 months we’ve had one car stolen and another broken into and damaged to the point we couldn’t drive it until it was fixed. It would mean the world to us if we could save our baby’s leg. We have her surgery scheduled for Tuesday.

Charlee is my only child and the sweetest little boy with the kindest soul. He was just a little 2lb. puppy and only 9-weeks old when I first brought him home almost 12 years ago. He is my constant companion and rarely leaves my side. After I lost my long-term partner in the Flight 5342 plane crash in 2025, Charlee was the reason I got out of bed during the most heartbreaking days of my life. Charlee has diabetes, a heart murmur, heart disease (Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease), a collapsed trachea, a torn CCL, and newly diagnosed proteinuria and kidney disease. His care team includes cardiologists and internal medicine specialists at Kansas State University's Veterinary Health Center. They recommend an echocardiogram, a Holter monitor, frequent lab work, and prescription medications. Through tragedy and tears, Charlee has been my emotional anchor when drowning in a sea of grief. Charlee has been my light in all the darkness these last couple of years. I am asking for help to keep Charlee as healthy for as long as possible, and to help keep him anchored by my side, his light shining bright like a beacon and illuminating my path forward every day. I battle chronic illness and I’m unable to work. I lost financial stability when my partner was killed in the plane crash outside DCA. I didn’t receive any support afterward and I’ve exhausted all resources. I’ve lost so much, please help me so I don’t lose Charlee, too.

Her name is Jasmine Jade, and she has many different personalities. She is a very happy dog, but she can also be silly and sassy, and she loves to wrestle around. She loves giving side eyes. My niece's dog had puppies, and I saw a picture of Jasmine and knew instantly that I wanted her. I fell in love with her colors. We bonded really fast; she had to be near me all the time. I can't see life without her. She can't use her back legs. The vet believes that a disc is pressing into her spinal cord. She needs an MRI to see what is really wrong with her. The vet talked to the neurology department at the University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center. Jasmine means the world to me; she is the one who is constantly there for me when I'm having a bad day. All I have to do is say her name, and her tail is going crazy, and I love how excited she gets when I get home from work. I can't picture a live with her not in it; she is still so young and has a lot of years left to live. My daughter feels the way I do about her. I don't make a lot of money; I live from paycheck to paycheck. After bills, I barely have money left for food. I'm asking for support cause i cant afford the cost of the surgery, and I don't know what else to do. I can't handle seeing Jasmine in pain all the time.

Baxter is the sweetest boy, he never meets a stranger loves everyone! He has been a wonderful blessing to our family. I became Baxter's dog mom when my friend and neighbor who owned Baxter passed away, and everyday I have been able to spend with him has truly been a blessing. He loves running in the yard, getting his yummy apple and sweet potatoe treats, playing fetch any chance anyone will throw the ball, he loves cuddles and most of all belly scratches, he would gladly accept anytime for as long as you are willing to do it. He means a great deal to our family and his cancer diagnosis has devastated our family. The thought of this sweet boy being in any pain absolutely breaks my heart. Baxter has been diagnosed with 4 small mast cell tumors, his veterinary team has recommended surgery to remove the tumors in hopes of them not being able to spread on his body or internally. The Open Door Veterinary Care is our wonderful vet, and is who diagnosed Baxter, fine needle aspiration has been done to confirm his diagnosis is cancerous. The cost for his surgery is estimated at $2800 which I am trying desperately to gather in hopes I will be able to take him for surgery sooner rather than later. Baxter is my 5-year-old best friend and a beloved part of our family. He brings so much love, comfort, and happiness into our lives. Now that he has been diagnosed with 4 Mast Cell Tumors, we’re doing everything we can to give him the chance to recover and keep making memories together. I am a single mother of 2 children so finacially there is not much wiggle room for extra expenses in by budget. Baxter has been diagnosed with 4 Mast Cell Tumors and urgently needs surgery. The cost of his life-saving treatment is more than I can afford on my own, so I’m asking our community for help. Any donation or share can bring us closer to getting Baxter the care he needs.

Stella

Help Stella get ACL Repair (TPLO) Surgery — IL

Stella is my 10-year-old Boxer/Greyhound mix. She is the sweetest, most loving girl you could meet. She is incredibly intelligent and can covey exactly what she's feeling just by looking at you. She can be a little demanding when she wants something but at the end of the day, all she really wants is to be with her people. Recently, Stella was doing what she loves most which is playing in the yard with her ball. As she was running, I heard a pop and she immediately went down and started crying. She now can't put any weight on her back right leg. The vet has diagnosed her with a fully torn ACL and is recommending TPLO surgery which gives her the best chance to walk and live comfortably again. I brought Stella home at 10 weeks old and over the last 10 years she has been my best friend and my family. We even share the same birthday! She has been with me through multiple moves and the loss of my grandma. Stella became the one constant in my life that I could count on. I cannot imagine my life without her. I just want her to be able to walk again and not live every day in so much pain. The surgery is expected to cost $5,000 along with significant aftercare. She is currently on pain meds and sedatives to keep her comfortable. I have already paid for X-rays, blood work, and her current meds but an unexpected $5,000 is more than I can manage alone right now.
