Simon

Simon is a 12 year old British Shorthair in Philadelphia, PA, who needs $3,000 for Diagnostic CT Scan with Contrast.

Philadelphia, PA

Simon has been part of our family since he was a kitten and will turn 13 years old in August. Several years ago, our family relocated, and although Simon was temporarily unable to travel with us, we worked hard to arrange his safe transportation so that he could be reunited with us. Being separated from him was difficult, but leaving him behind was never an option because he is a cherished member Simon is a 12-year-old neutered indoor cat. He was recently evaluated at The Bridge Veterinary Hospital and referred to iCare for Animals for a specialist ophthalmology examination. A mass behind his eye is suspected, and a CT scan with contrast has been recommended to determine the extent of the disease and guide treatment. Simon is a very affectionate and gentle cat who has been part of our family for nearly 13 years. He greets us, follows us around, and loves being close. He sleeps every night with our son, and they have a special bedtime routine while we read stories. In the evenings, he also comes to me for cuddles before sleep. He is deeply loved and brings us comfort and joy every day. We are facing an urgent and unexpected financial burden due to Simon’s serious eye condition. The cost of diagnostics, specialist ophthalmology care, and possible treatment is far beyond what we can manage on our own. Simon is not just a pet — he is a deeply loved member of

Buddy

Buddy is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Cheyenne, WY, who needs $1,697 for Multiple Tooth Extraction.

Cheyenne, WY

I got Buddy in June 2021 from my local Petco where he reached out at me from the kennel. I immediately adopted him. He is a big cuddle bug who loves attention from all people and loafing around the house. Buddy is the king of all three bedrooms and the kitchen where his food is prepared to his liking. He watches birds from his living room and soaks up the rays of sunshine. One month ago I had to take Buddy to Cheyenne Pet Clinic to have a tooth emergency extracted due to it poking the roof of his mouth and preventing it from closing. It was there that I was told Buddy needed more teeth removed. I was able to take him back to the vet a week ago and got the good news that he doesn't need a full mouth extraction but does need several teeth removed due to dental disease Buddy is a big handsome kitty who loves greeting people who stop by with meows and headbutts. He follows me everywhere in the house and demands cuddles and chin scratches. Every night when I go to bed Buddy hope up next to me and settles down for the night. Whenever I'm sad he comes and wipes the tears away with his big noggin and purrs until I feel better. Buddy loves attention and giving it. I want to get Buddy's teeth removed right away but I am on SSI and only get so much a month to live on. I would love to see Buddy zoom across the house like a cheetah with no care in the world. Please help me help Buddy get to feeling his best self.

Bear

Bear is a 2 year old Cane Corso in Minneapolis , MN, who needs $5,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Minneapolis, MN

Bear is a young Cane Corso who lives at home with me and is deeply loved as part of our family. He is loyal, protective, affectionate, and full of personality. After the traumatic loss of our other dog, King, one year ago, Bear became an incredible source of comfort and emotional support for our household. He is normally very active, playful, and always by my side. Bear was recently evaluated at Hometown Veterinary Hospital after suddenly developing pain and difficulty bearing weight on his hind leg. X-rays and examination raised concern for a an ACL tear, which is common in large breed dogs like Cane Corsos. He is currently on medications, strict rest, and activity restriction while we pursue further evaluation and determine if TPLO surgery will be needed. Bear is incredibly loyal, loving, and protective of our family. Despite being a large Cane Corso, he is gentle, goofy, affectionate, and always wants to be close to the people he loves. He follows me from room to room, watches over the house, and brings comfort during difficult moments. After the tragic loss of our dog, King, Bear became an emotional support and source of healing for our family. This has been a sudden and overwhelming medical expense for our family. As a single mom, the possibility of a $5,000+ TPLO surgery, specialist visits, imaging, medications, and rehabilitation is financially devastating. Having Bear healthy again would mean everything to us.

Spurgeon

Spurgeon is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Seattle, WA, who needs $4,384 for Diagnostics, High Flow Oxygen Therapy, Hospitalization.

Seattle, WA

My beloved son, Spurgeon recently experienced a life-threatening medical emergency in which he was barely able to breathe. We rushed him to the BluePearl in Tukwila immediately. He was admitted to the ICU, put into an oxygen unit, put on IV fluids/liquid antibiotics and started on diagnostics. He remained hospitalized for multiple days in the ICU on oxygen under IM DVM Dr. Susan O Mehain's care. Spugeon started coughing months ago and went through three courses of antibiotics, and diagnostics. On 5/25/26 he almost stopped breathing. He was under the bed with dilated eyes, drooling, pale lips and nose, had lost his bladder and was exhausting his energy trying to breathe. Like his other medical history (urinary blockages, small cell lymphoma +), his visit was complex without resolution. Spurgie VERY special. His medical history and current state is complex. He is a fashionista yet he is also a trash panda. His tiny body enjoys wearing sweaters, vests, and his Halloween onesie to keep warm. He also likes to eat garbage. His favorite flavor is plastic. He very much enjoys licking his dad's leg hair while he is being brushed with a glove brush. He tries to eat the hair he sheds. At this time I am not currently able to work. I am temporarily receiving government assistance and on Medicaid. It would mean the world to me to get him through this. We have stuck by his side through urinary blockages (last two pictures), IBD to cancer, and all of the meds.
