Ariel

Ariel is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Lake Forest, CA, who needs $2,500 for Bilateral Elbow Arthroscopy with Medial Coronoid.

Lake Forest, CA

Hi everyone, I want to introduce you to Ariel, our beloved rescue dog. We rescued her when she was just two months old, and from the very beginning she has been incredibly gentle, kind, and loving. Ariel has a special way of sensing emotions and bringing comfort, and she has become an irreplaceable part of our family. Sadly, Ariel has faced significant medical challenges at a very young age. She has already undergone two major surgeries on her back legs — surgery on her right ankle and a left TPLO with scope. Despite the pain and long recoveries, she has remained trusting, affectionate, and full of spirit. On December 19, 2025, Ariel underwent another major procedure due to bilateral elbow dysplasia. Diagnosis: Elbow Dysplasia – Bilateral Surgical Procedure: Bilateral Elbow Arthroscopy with Medial Coronoid Process Removal This surgery was necessary to relieve pain and prevent further joint damage. The procedure has already been completed, and Ariel is now in recovery. We are asking for help to cover the veterinary costs, which were placed on a credit card. The invoice and post-operative medical report are attached for full transparency. This financial burden comes on top of ongoing challenges: I am still paying $393 per month for Ariel’s previous surgery until May 2026. My husband lost his job in October 2025 and has not yet been able to find new work, leaving our household supported only by my income of $4,800 per month. We have reached the point where we had to place our mortgage into forbearance just to keep going. We are doing everything we can, but this has been an overwhelming and frightening time for our family. Ariel is not “just a dog.” She is family. She has already endured more than most animals ever should, and she deserves the chance to heal and live without constant pain. Any contribution — no matter the amount — will help reduce the credit card balance from her surgery and allow us to focus fully on her recovery rather than financial survival. Thank you for taking the time to read Ariel’s story and for any support you are able to give. With sincere gratitude, Natalia

Charley

Charley is a 8 month old Poodle in Grass Valley, CA, who needs $9,000 for Orthopedic Fracture Repair Surgery on Both Legs.

Grass Valley, CA

Hello, my name is Gabrielle, and I created this fundraiser for my father’s puppy, Charley. Charley is only 8 months old and is the sweetest, most loving little soul — truly a treasured member of our family. Recently, she suffered the heartbreaking injury of breaking both of her front legs. For the past five long weeks, we have been doing everything we can to help her heal, including weekly cast changes and regular X-rays. Unfortunately, after reviewing her most recent X-rays, our veterinarian shared devastating news: the casts are not allowing her bones to heal correctly. Charley now urgently needs surgery on both legs in order to properly realign her bones and give her the chance at a full recovery. This experience has been incredibly emotional for our family. Watching such a young puppy struggle to walk, play, and simply be a puppy has been heartbreaking — and all we want is to see her back on her feet, happy and pain-free. So far, after five weeks of treatment, my father has already spent $4,209 on casts changes and X-rays alone. We were recently informed that the required surgery will cost up to an additional $9,000. This is an overwhelming financial burden, especially as my father’s only income is a limited amount of Social Security. For transparency, documentation of all veterinary bills paid to date, along with the surgery estimate, can be found in the photo section below. If you feel moved to support Charley’s healing journey, any donation — no matter the size — would mean the world to our family. Every contribution truly adds up and brings us one step closer to giving Charley the care she desperately needs. More than anything, we just want to see this little girl running, playing, and enjoying her puppyhood again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who feels called to support Charley during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express. ❤️

Hi everyone, My name is Jordan De Leon and I’m a full-time firefighter. My wife is a dedicated teacher, and we’re excitedly expecting our first baby in June 2026. Life has been full of beautiful changes, but also some unexpected challenges. Just two days ago, our beloved 1-year-old Doberman our happy, goofy, and incredibly loving companion had to undergo an emergency surgery. It came out of nowhere, and while we’re beyond grateful that the surgery was successful, the medical bills have placed a heavy financial burden on us, especially with a baby on the way. Our Doberman isn’t just a pet, he’s family. He brings joy, comfort, and laughter into our lives every single day. He’s the kind of dog who greets you like it’s the best moment of his life every time you walk through the door. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, playing in the yard, or keeping us company after a long shift or workday, he’s a constant light in our lives. We’ve always worked hard to provide for our little family, but this unexpected expense has hit us hard. Between preparing for our newborn and this emergency, we’re stretched thin. That’s why we’re humbly reaching out to ask for help. Every donation no matter how small will go directly toward covering the cost of our pup’s surgery, medications, and follow-up care. If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing our story with others means the world to us. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for your kindness, your support, and your love for animals like ours. Happy Holidays. With love and thanks, Jordan, Stephanie and Koa 🐶
